Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Review

I am interested in updating my 2011 Accord and spoke to Chuck Jordan at the Jeep dealership, I was impressed with his help and information. He said he would stay in touch with me and that if something came up he would let me know. He stayed in touch after the last car I purchased. He was great, always thorough....go to him if you need a car!
Just want to add that Mr. Jordan has been in touch with. He's always polite and informative. I'm still deciding if i want to update my Accord - If I do, I will definitely go to him!

I tell you what since my husband and I moved here in 10.2011 Hall Dodge is the only place we've come to get our vehicles repaired. Ask for BOB in services. I love the Service Department everyone is so nice and they all provide EXCEPTIONAL service. My husband and I purchased new vehicles in May and October of this year. We're EXTREMELY happy! The Sales guy to work with is JAMAL he can make a way out of no way! There isn't another dealer in Virginia that can compete with Hall Dodge!!!!

This was my first time buying a used car from a dealership. I was skeptical that I could afford anything they might have. After looking at a couple used trucks that did fit in my budget, I let my sales person, Frankie Lewis, know. She immediately discovered for me that the first one I was interested in had already sold, and that the second one wouldn't pass their reconditioning standards, so it was going straight to auction.
She told me to not get discouraged, for she was determined to find me the "perfect" truck! The next day, she let me know about a Toyota Tacoma that had been traded in, a few weeks earlier. Not only was it a newer truck than I had expected to be able to afford, it had a lot less miles than would be expected as well. And she got me a much, much, better interest rate, than even my credit union could do! Her diligence was greatly appreciated. She delivered on her promise to me! What an asset to the Hall Auto Group Team!
I would also like to say thanks to everyone there, for all their help in making this happen!

Crooks. This guy argued with my husband about what was wrong with the car. Did what he wanted and then gave my car back to me broken. He fixed nothing and clearly didn't even bother to test drive it. I went to drive my child home and the steering was out. We almost died trying to get onto the highway. We brought the car back and they fixed it. Guess what was wrong?! Exactly what my husband said was wrong the first time. Not happy. Crappie service.

Our salesman, Eric Lee Osborne, went to work this morning with one goal, sell vehicles. When he approached my husband and I, he knew he was going to make us want to do business with HIM, if we were leaving in a new ride. He was enthusiastic, pleasant, and knowledgeable. He is dedicated to his product, and knows how to be a successful salesman. He listens and talks at exactly the right time! No doubt, Mr. Osborne is a top salesman for Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM! It was a pleasant experience to make our purchase today. I would highly recommend customers specifically ASK for Eric Osborne if you truly want to know about the Jeep you re buying. I realize selling vehicles is what Mr. Osborne is supposed to do, but he makes his customers glad they chose him!

Kevin and Scott were amazing!! I had bought mazdaspeed from them and i am loving it so far! Kevin was my salesman and he helped me throughout the the whole process even coming in on one of his days off to check if the car was back from reconditioning! Unfortunately their reconditioning place was backed up so I had to wait about 2 weeks for it to come back. He was able to send me pictures and videos of the car which made me feel better about what I was traveling 3 hours to come and look at! I had a little trouble with my credit union and I wouldn t have been able to take it home the same day and after a 3-4 hour car ride that s not what I wanted to hear but Scott was able to pull some strings with his manager and I was able to take the car home. I would definitely recommend anyone to go here, amazing staff, low prices you can t beat!

Company will do good work at a high price and will attempt to sell you many unecessary repairs.

Absolutely amazing service!!!! We were on our way to OBX for vacation when our 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan was no longer driving over 40 miles per hour. We initially stopped at a dealership that was closer to where we started having trouble but after reading the reviews on what a nightmare their service area was, we decided to risk it and drive the 10 miles to Hall. I am so happy we made that choice! Michelle was so accommodating and really made sure our family and vehicle was well taken care of. We had our two dogs with us and while we waited for the rental she even came out to give the dogs water. Our van was fixed before they said it would be done. I was so impressed with their service that I wished we lived closer so I could always get our services at this location. Thank you Hall and Michelle for saving our vacation!

I came in for regular maintenance I was notified I had one remaining oil change included with my prepaid contract as complimentary, I informed the tech that my last tech clarified I didn't receive my previous tire rotation as requested he took it upon himself to get that done Free of Charge No Hassle! As a single mom and entrepreneur, I appreciated his customer service as well as a follow-through. The staff and management make my purchase no remorse.

very poor customer service and communication with the service department. I was told my service would take approximately 2 hours, after waiting 3 hours I asked how much longer. The very vague reply made it quite clear that my Jeep had not been touched. Ridiculous, and shameful.

Great people, great vehicles!

Employees are rude and customer service is nonexistent. Traveling with young children and had some car trouble, they just put us off like it was no big deal to be stuck out of town with kids. Wanted $300 just to diagnose the problem! On the other hand Southern dodge about 10 minutes away was amazing! Had our car fixed and us on the road in less than 2 hours for $283.00 total. Almost $20 cheaper than just a diagnosis at Hall.

It is always a great experience to go to Hall Service Department. The service reps are top notch, they always take care on me and my vehicle!!!!

They did everything they could to try and rip off my wife while I was deployed. First they tried the classic dishonest mechanic routine, making excessive repair recommendations, then they tried to charge my wife nearly double what the tow company charged to bring my car to the dealership. The tow company charges $85 and Hall tried to charge us $145. The tow charge was reduced after my wife confronted them on it. Wont save how we feel about this place though. Every experience we've had with Hall is an indication of their dishonesty.

Long wait. Several free service Reps looked like doing nothing. Refused to look up to help anyone. Finally was helped after standing around for 15 minutes.

This review is based on my two experiences with the service department. As a disclaimer I need not purchase my vehicle from Hall Chrysler so I can only speak for their service department. Both times I have taken my Jeep liberty here I had issues with my service advisor Ron. The reason for my most recent visit is the passenger airbag light was lit and the fasten seatbelt alarm was going off even when no passenger was in the seat.

For my most recent visit, I was required to make a service appointment in which I need to wait a week since they were booked out. After I had finally dropped my vehicle off Tuesday morning. I waited full day with no word from the service department as to what was wrong with my vehicle. So I decided to call and attempt to get information. Once I got ahold from Ron there was no information simply "my tech doesn't know whats wrong, and I will call you when I know whats wrong." After another two days of no information and hear "My tech still doesn't know what wrong" I decide to call the service manager. By the time I talk with the service manager, they have had my vehicle from Tuesday morning, throughout the weekend and it is now Monday and I have not heard a single thing about it. I express my displeasure with Ron's lack of communication and customer service, the manager does not seem to car. She assures me she will stay in contact with me, even text me and let me know what's going on. However she does not, I go the entire day hearing nothing until 4 PM when Ron calls me to tell me whats wrong with the vehicle and that it is not covered by insurance. So now I have to pay full price for a rental car for an entire week since it took this service department 7 days to trouble shoot the air bag module!

It took them 40 hours to "trouble shoot" plus I have to pay for labor, parts and a rental car. This service department has no zero customer service, and when a manager is made aware a customer is not pleased with their service advisor, they still have that said service advisor call the customer. And to top it off, Ron quoted me $840 for everything. And when my wife went to checkout the final bill was over $1100!

I will NEVER bring my vehicle back to this service department.

Saw Courtney there she was able to answer all my questions in a friendly and professional manner. I'll be coming back.

Eric Osborne was great to deal with. He is a great salesperson and knows every detail about the cars he sells. I would highly recommend him when you go into Hall.

James my sales consultant was amazing, very knowledgeable, Transparent, Calm and easy to work with. The showroom was clean with a very friendly atmosphere. The finance manager Pete, took his time to explain everything, not pushy, it was almost like I was at a relative house just chatting about a vehicle payment.
I went to Greenbirer Dodge, the sales manager wouldn't budge on his price and told me that I would Never find a better deal anywhere and allow me to leave. I called Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep, told them what I wanted and there wasn't any problem getting me the deal I was looking for.

Found the truck I was hoping for. Good price. Everything I needed hands down. No complaints on the truck itself but the service is lacking in many fields. Distracted sales person jumping from customer to customer.

During the sale over in the financial department the service was slow and small things had to be requested on multiple occasions.
After the sale two weeks past without being contacted at all or even given a time range for the parts that were part of the deal. All that was asked for and promised were floor mats and rain guards.
Called on two different occasions trying to get ahold of the sales manager and was promised I would be contacted Within that day and give me a time frame. Was not contacted and had to drive in to ask in person.
Overall the customer service is unreasonably slow and does not care. I thought they would take better care of their customers.

I just recently bought a jeep wrangler and I cannot say enough. Their staff have been fantastic, I had the best experience in car purchasing. They are all also knowledgeable and kind. Specifically James, Abby Shawn and John, all I can say they are great.
He treat you like family and he doesn t stop by just buying a car they will always be there if you need them them. I highly recommend this place if you re thinking of buying your next car.

My old Ford Escape had 108,000 miles on it, and when I stopped into Hall Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM on Sunday I knew that I wanted to start seriously looking at buying a new (or used) vehicle, but I wasn't sure which model or year I wanted. I had a nice experience with Sharon Tull test-driving a 2018 Jeep Compass and a 2018 Jeep Wrangler, but decided that I needed some time to look into my finances and explore other options.

I test drove another Wrangler at Southern Jeep, but again needed more time to think things over and compare the vehicles that each dealership had on stock.

Desiree Decker helped me by providing me more information via email. I appreciated that no one on the sales team was pushy about rushing my decision.

I narrowed my decision down to 2 similar 2018 Wranglers, and when I came back in Sharon happened to be off. Eric Osborne was extremely knowledgable about the Wranglers and helped me choose the one that best fit my needs. He was also fun to work with.

Robert E did a great job of keeping me informed and was able get a new splash shield and radiator cover installed. Kudos to the mechanics also, did a great job explaining how he could do a temporary fix until a new splash shield arrived before Robert found one in stock.

Luke Lombardozzi was an excellent salesperson. Even though I'd already done an overseas vehicle purchase, I asked to take a test drive. He was more than willing to help and took me on a nice tour of different driving climes around Virginia Beach. I highly recommend him for your next car purchase!

Recommendations. If you buy a car that is not on the lot you need to personally track it your self.
I had to call everyday for three days and, finally found out the car we bought was sold. The other car was 220 miles away. We already gave the dealer a check for the car so we purchased it. We had to go back to the dealer twice after that to correct paper work. They never corrected the paper work with the other vehicle so our paper work had the wrong vin. Thank goodness I caught this or we would of paid for a car with the wrong vin which would of meant the wrong warranty, wrong loan paper work with my credit union. For a customer that walked in the door with a signed check and didnot haggle on the MSRP or price our treatment was the poorest I have ever seen. I purchased a car for my Daughter three years ago at this Dealer and had a 5 star experience. This time The Manager, The Salesman and the Finance Manager all dropped the Ball. Their lucky we loved the Chrysler Pacifica.
With all of this said the Van we purchased had $500.00 worth of extra options we didn't have to pay for,
We received 5 free oil changes for all of our troubles, and our salesman gave us a extra key worth over $100.00 and They gave us a brand new Van to drive while we were waiting on ours.
We wont be purchasing any other vehicles from this Dealer its obvious that their management team is out of touch with following through with a deal from start to finish. It has been 2 weeks and our car we traded in is still not paid off by Hall.

They do great work, but having an appointment does not always help you. I had an appointment at 9 am for a recall item and oil change, went to work all day, came back at 4pm and still had to wait an hour for my vehicle. And the staff is very friendly.

This was not the first time I purchase a vehicle but it was the first time that I had a sale consultant that really cared. Eric Osborne is a beast, he got me everything I wish for and more I'm so happy he's the salesperson you need if you're looking for a new vehicle 1000% customer first thanks again Eric

It's just like any other place they want to make money, and you just want to fix the problem at a good price with no extra hoopla. They have free coffee while you wait some TVs, and a play area for the kids with children's cable channels. I will say it's annoying to add k says ge asked about trading in your car every time I'm there.

I have been to many service departments and this one is by far the best! My service advisor (Ally) has made both of my visits to Hall easy and painless. She keeps me updated throughout the entire process of the maintenance and my truck is in and out on time with no issues. I highly recommend this service department to anyone!

My dealer craig was awesome he really helped me out, after having my fiance die i really needed another vehicle. I was told I got approved for a 2015 jeep patriot because it had a 3500$ rebate on it and that I wouldnt have to pay anything down because of that so of course i was all over that. Than when the paper work started I was told i had to pay one and they knew i couldnt. I told them i could pay 100 there and that was it. Than i started to getting asked to open all sorts of loans to pay it. They let me leave with the vehicle paying just the 100. but the fianance manager i worked with kept changing numbers on me and things just werent adding up. So i sent them a check for the remainder of the deposit I WAS TOLD I DIDNT HAVE TO PAY

This was our second dodge we bought from Eric, great service as always.

After a recommendation from a friend and after experiencing average to very poor service ( I could write a small documentary) at the other two local Dodge service departments I decided to try Hall for the cruise control recall on my Journey and an oil and filter change. Stopped by and met a friendly service writer who gave me her card and said to give her a call when I wanted to set up the appointment. The service department looked stable and efficient. There were no vehicles in the write up lanes. Service writers at their stations. All looked great. The next week I made the call and had to leave her a VM. A week went by and no response. Called again and talked to I assume a serve coordinator who set me up for a wait appointment a week ahead.....10:30.....told me I would be out by 12:30 or 1PM. I was not scheduled with the original service writer I made contact with. SO.....show up at right on time at 10:30 day of....and the place was pandemonium. Write up lanes packed and cars in line outside. Customers waiting around milling around. NO SERVICE WRITERS were at their stations....cars jockeying outside to get in line but because of the cramped location there is really no extra room. I hung around about 10 minutes to see if I could get the lay of the land. Went inside the building to see If i could find a manager. The waiting room was packed. Went back to my vehicle to see if the line had moved....it was out in the street because of the overflow. Managed to snag one woman who looked like a service writer talking to a customer and told her I had a 10:30 wait appointment and the way things looked I could only believe I would be there all day. She had little to say. Preoccupied and unprofessional. I told her I was out of there. She said "FINE". Absolutely unbelievable. NEVER experienced anything like it and hope never again. So...I am scheduled next week back at one of the other dealerships for the service .....FYI...this is a leased vehicle provided for me by my company for business and personal use. It was my only choice for a larger SUV. This is my 4th Dodge Journey. Consumer Reports rakes it over the coals. To be fair, its not quite as bad as they make it out to be. I am on my 4th Journey now so I feel I can speak to the product and Chrysler in general. Bottom line.....I would never buy a Chrysler product...EVER. In my 66 years I have mostly driven Honda and Toyota....and VERY pleased with quality of product and service. As for Chrysler its not just the product, I believe they make some nice vehicles, IT"S THE LACK OF QUALITY IN THE PRODUCT AND THE LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM AND KNOWLEDGE IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENTS..... ....at least the three here in Hampton Roads. As I said, I could write a documentary on some of my experiences. I have run on here long enough....but here is one tidbit as a prequel. I HAD TO SEACH ON LINE FOR SOME OF THE ISSUES I WAS HAVING AND THERE I FOUND SERVICE CODES THAT WOULD FIX THE PROBLEMS THAT I HAD BEEN IN FOR REPEATEDLY AND THE SERVICE TECHS HAD NO CLUE HOW TO FIX. WHEN I BROUGHT THEM THE COMPUTER CODES,...THEY WERE ABLE TO MAKE THE FIXES. THIS IS JUST TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. Back in the late 90's I strayed to a Ford product....Mercury Sable 1997. We had so much trouble with that vehicle...they took it back and gave us a new one with only tax title and tags out of our pocket. Nice of them...but the hassle involved was a major aggravation. Will I ever buy American ? Yeah...NO.

I had been looking into purchasing a Jeep for a while but was nervous about trading in my leased vehicle. I looked at USAAs car buying service which led me to Hall. They were the first to contact me and had the exact vehicle with all the features I wanted in stock. I was able to meet with someone the next day and they made it easy to get in with my work schedule. Thankfully they gave me Noel as my salesperson. He was able to find me the Jeep I wanted and made the experience quick and easy. He answered all my questions and alleviated any worries I had about the process. Noel was a pleasure to work with, his personality and honesty is what really sealed the deal. I have dealt with many salespeople in the past that put pressure on you and make you doubt your decision but I feel very confident that I made the right decision and know that I can ask Noel for anything when I have a question. Can't wait to work with him again in a few years when I'm ready for the Wrangler!

Stopped by to just look at Jeep Wranglers. Bumped into Ronald Sumption and he was a huge help. No pressure at all. Got us in the one we were checking out to take a spin. Viewed a Jeep Wrangler listed online for 28820. Salesman set up my appointment after being told which vehicle I was interested in. I showed up to dealership with cash in hand to be told "Oh, that truck is 52,000. I guess they never changed the price online". Bait/Switch. No thanks. Avoid this dealership. Go to Chesapeake.

Kevin Conley Is probably one of the best sales associates I have ever met in my life. He did not make me feel like all my questions were a hassle. I was comfortable the entire time. Made sure the vehicle I needed meeted those expectations perfectly. I did not feel pressured at all and kept me informed every step of the way. He worked tired asleep to make sure I got the deal that I wanted and got me in my dream vehicle. The overall dealership at Miss fear was extremely good low pressure and relaxing compared to most dealerships. I think hall found a oil customer for life.
