Paid $50 on Friday for clamps on a heat shield. Heat shield fell off Saturday. Took it back to have redone and they said it's damaged and would be over $400 to replace. (the service manager posted a response to call him and they would attempt to make it right. I left a message yesterday morning and have received no response)
Overall one of the best experiences I've ever encountered!

I had an Excellent experience in purchasing my Ford Fusion Energi.
Went in for "The Works" oil change and paid the same price as any other Quick Lane. I believe they change my oil, but it doesn't appear they did anything else. Tried to call them, but only the receptionist answered and was only able to pass me on to someone else who said I'd have to talk to the people I wasn't able to get through to in the Quick Lane.
Update: Few days later, received a call back. They confirmed the report was not properly completed according to the actual status of my vehicle and offered to top off my vehicle fluids. I accepted the offer and appreciate it.
I love Hagerstown Ford. Mike Reed was amazing. He found a Flex for me in my price range that had everything I wanted in the color I wanted. He even upgraded the car with a surprise super roof. My husband was so pleased to have captain s chairs, another bonus. The car was better than what I was hoping for!!

We took our certified pre-owned vehicle back for repairs to the door (guarantee work) and to replace the clutch (recall work). It took three tries before the door was fixed. Other than that, we were very pleased with the service.

My girl (ford explorer) was due for her 120,000 check up. Shane the services desk representative was extremely helpful and gentle in delivering the news that I had to replace both struts. I have purchased a total of 4 vehicles from him and he's also helped in picking up my company vehicles. He is a professional, dependable and knows the vehicles. He takes the extra steps to ensure that you are satisfied with your vehicle and that you know all the features of the vehicle. Hagerstown Ford has also been the dealership I've used to service all my vehicles even though I live 45 mins away. They in themselves show professionalism in the way they treat and take care of you. I normally do not write reviews but felt the need to on my experience at Hagerstown Ford. Vince did an incredible job balancing my needs of purchasing a vehicle. He was professional, courteous and did not hassle at all. It was a welcomed experience from what you would expect from most dealerships. I had a tight timeline and Vince was able to deliver with a 60 minute purchase on the vehicle I selected. Specifically ask for Vince next time you are visiting Hagerstown Ford.
Hagerstown Ford is the place to go! I purchased my car back in 2012 and have been getting it serviced there ever since. My car has had zero issues besides the normal maintenance. Recently I had a recall that needed taken care of and Hagerstown Ford went above and beyond. When I dropped my car off I was able to use the shuttle service to drive me to work! Which was nice because I could get the work done on my car while I was at work! 10/10
I am giving Hagerstown Ford 5 stars based on the salesperson I dealt with. Becca was very patient as I bounced back and forth deciding whether or not to look at a truck, let alone buy one. At no point did she attempt to pressure me into anything. The night I arrived to look at the truck, it was pouring. She offered for me to come back, but went out in the deluge with me. She gave me plenty of time to look over the truck. She let me test drive as far as I wanted to drive in the rain. The rest of the process was pretty standard for dealerships. Typical price haggling. Attentive staff, who stayed after hours to complete sale. Becca, then went out in the rain and transferred my tags to my new F450. She made all the difference in my purchase and experience. I recently bought an edge. Have had many issues with both sales and service but they say they are going to take care of it. I will re-evaluate when things are resolved. I am trusting all will work out and I can repost more stars and updated review.

Every time I've had a problem with my F350 Diesel Platinum the service manage at Hagerstown Ford Maryland, Tim Rowe, handled all my problems and concerns without any hesitation. Went to test drive a New 2018 F-350 . Had to ask 3 times to get the keys for my trade back so i could leave . Not at all impressed! Gave my business back to Chevy !
The car is nice but from day one of buying the car he has put nothing but money into it I have almost got killed in the car several times because the car would just stop in traffic without warning. The young lady that helped us was wonderful but outside of that I don't know I love my car but it's costing more and more money to keep it running. Be careful what you buy.

I know what I want...I just need the professional who can supply my demand. That is Mike Reid. I just purchased my third Ford from him. I transitioned from a Ford Fusion to a Ford Fusion Energi to a Ford Edge over the last 10 years and have loved them all. With each purchase, I contacted Mike, told him what I was looking for then he found it...within 24 hours. I recently went through a divorce, so Mike offered a variety of alternatives until we found the right financial fit for me. The office staff quickly came to my rescue with name change issues to get the vehicle titled.
As for my new-to-me certified-pre-owned Edge Titanium, it is perfect.
But I knew it would be.

We can't say enough good things about our sales experience at Hagerstown Ford. Everyone we dealt with through the entire process was terrific to work with especially Mike Reid. Mike actually went out and found a vehicle for me after we discussed the specifics of what I was looking for and they didn't have it on hand. He was completely committed to my satisfaction with the process and the purchase. I live 2 hours away from Hagerstown Ford and have several Ford dealerships much closer to me. After mentioning that I was considering purchasing a Ford vehicle, Hagerstown Ford was highly recommended to me and we decided to check it out. I will not hesitate to make that 2 hour drive next time we are in the market for a vehicle. We love our new truck, really appreciate the time spent explaining everything in it to us and would highly recommend Hagerstown Ford and Mike Reid to anyone looking to purchase a new car or truck.
I bought a SUV from them with in 2 week had probems scheduled to get it in while under 30 day warranty. Now since it needs a new motor they are not coveri g it they sold me a blown truck
Do not recommend this dealership at all. Bought a truck that was claimed to pass a rigorous inspection which was a complete LIE! I would never buy anything from them that is sold as is since they do not care if the vehicle is safe. The tires were so bad that they can not pass inspection. This is not a cosmic issue. It s a safely issue!!!!
We called back the next day they were open and was told that the truck never got inspected because their inspection guy was off last week!
We were scheduled to leave for vacation Wednesday morning and was in a pinch to get the truck able to leave by then. In a hurry to get the truck tires, they offered to pay for two tires to help out,, which we agreed to even tho they should have paid for everything after selling a vehicle that DID NOT GET INSPECTED like they claimed online.
We were told the tires were ordered on Monday which they did not order until Tuesday morning. They said they would be in Tuesday afternoon, then Wednesday by noon, at noon we were told 2pm they would be in. We found the tires somewhere else because we were already missing one day of our vacation due to the lack of urgency it was to them to get the tires in. I told them we needed a check reimbursement for the tires which was claimed to be signed by Monday and able for us to pickup from the store.
Monday, we called and it wasn t ready yet. Then I called Tuesday and was told it was mailed out so now we had to wait for the reimbursement instead of getting the check that day. I asked to get an email or something in writing since we had already been lied to several times before this. Which I never got.
We have bought several vehicles over the years and this is by far the worst customer service I have ever received.
I had an error come up on my truck and was about to go out of town. They took care of the problem and got me out in record time.

Oil change on my F150: I would have given 5 stars but I had to return the truck because of oil dripping under the engine. According to the service rep, when the oil was changed the tech neglected to remove some drained oil that collected on a shield when the oil was being drained. Consequently, that oil drained onto my driveway.
The staff was friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcomed and we were greeted in the parking lot.
can I give less than one star? I had a tire fall off my wheel they replaced after i was in an accident. then they ordered the wrong replacement wheel to fix there mistake, and put it on my car. then they never put the lug nut covers on. I also had a mechanic steal money out of my center console. i spoke with the general manager judy but she never apologized, and in fact accused me of switching out the other three wheels on my car. When I gave her a picture of the car with the wheels that were on there and she saw she was in the wrong, all she said was they will order the correct wheels but she still never apologized. awful manager, nasty attitude, awful dealership. Worst experience ever!!!!!!!!
I get my parts from this Ford dealer on a regular basis and occasionally Service as well. I have been dealing with them for a long time and I have always had great service. The guys at the parts counter are awesome and so are the ladies at the cashier desk. They are always helpful and they know who I am, I like that.
Took truck in to have a couple of recalls done. The requested work was done satisfactory. Also nice that extra items like checking tire pressure and the like were done.
Was there checking on a used vehicle overpriced customer not even knowing what was getting into sales person had no idea of what he was really selling all they know is numbers up point to everything they have a huge selection new car sales are pretty decent can't say that about the used car sales they are definitely out of their league
No one should ever do business with Hagerstown Ford. Bunch of dishonest crooks. A few years a ago I leased a Ford Focus for my son. I went to Lindsay Ford in Wheaton where my nephew worked at the time. Fast Forward to present time. The lease is up and my nephew who no longer works at Lindsey Ford tells me I can return the lease at any Ford or purchase the car from any Ford. So because Hagerstown Ford is close to home, I make the mistake of trying to purchase the car there. I knew my payoff was $8000, I was over by 10,000 miles on the lease and knew Ford would send me a bill if $2,000. I decided to purchase the car instead of just paying the over mileage fees. Hagerstown Ford tells me, that I have to pay taxes on the car. Which I already Paid for when I took Out the lease. When I tell them that they can t charge me taxes twice. The financial manager states weren t charging you taxes, the state of Maryland is . Full of BS! Next I was Told that in order for them to sell me the car it needs to pass Maryland inspection and requires $2,000 for repairs. For what?! We have been the only owners, they gave a list of BS items that required repairs. So they tell me that the car will cost me $12,324!! Are you kidding me?! I know my payout is $8,000. I tell my nephew what these crooks are trying to do to me. He calls his buddy at Lindsay Ford to facilitate the purchase for me. Totally worth the drive, everything was ready for me! Purchase price $8,000 plus a minimal dealer processing fee. So point of they story.... STAY AWAY! Your wallet will thank you.
I bring my old beat up 2003 ford e350 with a 7.3 diesel in it (nightmare to work on) and they're just honest and dont try and pull the typical dealership nonsense by just ripping you off. It's a far drive, but I know when I have a serious issue, I take it here.

We have been dealing with Hagerstown Ford and Tex Miller for more years than I can remember, Tex always seems eager to go the extra mile to make it a pleasurable experience.
We were in the market for a low mileage Ford F-250 Super Duty crew cab pickup. A number of identically equipped vehicles had come off of the program at Enterprise and many dealerships in the DC/MD/VA/PA area had one for sale. Other dealerships we went to told us what the asking price was and waited for us to make an offer. Hagerstown Ford was the only dealership that worked to get our business, offering us an attractive deal that ultimately got our business. I will say that the place (specifically the used car dept.) was somewhat disorganized. For example, we asked repeatedly to have the dealer's sticker removed from the truck before we picked it up, but in the end, there it was. We considered it a small price to pay for being very happy with our new truck.
My visit before this last one was not good at all. After receiving a fallow up call from the dealership, I was told the Service Director, l had seen at my previous visit was no longer employed with them. Also I was contacted by Tim Rowe, the Service Director now. I made another appointment and Mr. Rowe took care all of my concerns and went over and beyond what anyone could ever hope for. He said that he was sorry I had to come back in again. Mr. Rowe knows his job and does very well. I would recommend if you need any Service for your vehicle you need to call them.
The Hagerstown Ford service staff has always treated me courteously and professionally. Initially I was hesitant that such a large organization would need to charge high service rates to cover the additional overhead, but I have found that their charges are fair. In particular, they have always charged less than I expected when needing to perform diagnostics (i.e., work efforts outside task/pieces rate charges). This team keeps drawing me back.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I was looking for a work van and thought I found a good deal, so I called this dealership and asked if there was anything wrong with it. They stated multiple times that there is nothin wrong with it except it won't pass inspection and when I asked why they said they just actually don't want to spend money on it. I said okay, I'm about to drive 130 miles to come and hopefully buy it please tell me if there is anything wrong. They swore up and down nothing is wrong and being a large Ford dealer I believed them. I got there after a 3 hour drive and test drove it just to have the engine light come on flashing when I hit 65mph. It is misfiring for whatever reason. When I went back they did not seem suprised when I told them that was happening. So I just wasted 6 hours and 130 miles because they lied to me. Lovely dealership.
I dealt with chuck wade. To say these guys went above and beyond for me would be a understatement drove all the way from Michigan and I d surely do it again.
WORST vehicle buying experience ever! Would never recommend this place to anyone. Our sellsman was great, JT. So many issues with the vehicle we bought that they screwed us around with trying to get the few things wrong fixed, the communication between the Used Car center and the Service center was absolutely terrible.

Expressed interest in trading in our current vehicle in for a New 2019 Ford Explorer at Hagerstown Ford. We were told that we would be considered VIP customers since we reached out online and that they re used inventory was in need of the vehicle we were trying to trade in. We were also told that since it was the last day of June that they would do whatever they could to get a deal done and rebates were the highest that they would be all year since 2020 models would be coming in soon. Someone from internet relations paired us with a brand new salesman so the sales manager came out and did most of the talking. We filled our credit apps, did a test drive, and had our trade appraised on a Saturday afternoon. They claimed they couldn t get an immediate approval from any banks. They are closed Sundays so they said we would hear from them one way or another by Monday afternoon. We understand we didn t have perfect credit and had a little bit of negative equity in our trade but by the time Monday evening came around we had heard NOTHING from sales, NOTHING from finance, and NOTHING from the first person that contacted us from the internet department. I called the dealership on Monday evening and the rude receptionist acted like I was a huge bother to her. I explained our situation to her in full and all she did was transfer me to two different mailboxes. Didn t even have the courtesy to let me talk to a real person! We have dealt with many other dealerships (some closer to the DC metro area) that have handled situations much better!! We were trying to buy local, at a dealership with a small town feel. But it obviously wasn t worth it. Would have been nice for someone to at least follow up with us. We ll be looking for another dealership, and most likely a different manufacturer. This awful customer service has left a horrible taste in our mouth about Ford. Especially Hagerstown Ford.
