We recently purchased a new Expedition from Hagerstown Ford and it was the best buying experience I ever had, hands down. Our Salesman Josh Swars very professional, patient, listened to our needs.

Rather than try to just sell us a vehicle that we didn t want Josh located the exact vehicle we were going to order at another dealership and worked quickly, and diligently with the other dealership to get the vehicle transported here in under a week. He kept in constant communication with my wife and I throughout the entire waiting period.

When the vehicle arrived, John made sure the vehicle was properly detailed, and topped off with a tank of gas. It was near closing time and Josh stayed to help set up our Ford Pass, went over every feature on the vehicle to ensure we were comfortable with it, and even helped my wife install her all-weather mats in the vehicle.

If the service we received from Josh wasn t enough, he worked with their Finance Department to secure 0% financing through Ford Motor Credit for us.

Anyone looking for top notch sales people, a low pressure buying experience, and a knowledgeable staff, I encourage you to stop by Hagerstown Ford and ask for Josh.

I went in and told Tex what I was looking for in my price range and he did just that! No bs....didn't try to get me into something that I couldn't afford. Tex worked hard for my husband and I to get the car we were interested in and for that I'm very thankful! I love my 2010 Ford Fusion! Tex was very friendly and Ford Company is lucky to have him. The Service department is unreliable. I scheduled...

The Service department is unreliable. I scheduled my 2016 F150 to have a recall done on it. I even provided the recall number at the time of the scheduling. They had my truck for most of the day only to tell me that Ford Corporate didn't supply the parts to fix the recall. I informed the service manager that there were people in F150 forums getting the recall work done at which time I was told that Ford must be regionally supplying the parts however they didn't have any.
First off, why wouldn't you check beforehand to see if you have the parts available before having a customer drive 20 + minutes to drop their vehicle off and find someone to pick them up and drop them back off. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
Secondly, after picking up my vehicle I called Keystone Ford in Chambersburg PA where the parts were readily available. Go figure! Recall is now complete thanks to Keystone Ford.
As for Scott at the Hagerstown Ford Service Department, you have seen and worked on my truck for the last time. I'll drive the extra 15 miles to go to a reliable Ford dealer.

Service performed oil change tires rotated Tech suggested I buy additive to help prevent fuel pump from being destroyed by alcohol in gas so I did afterwards I wondered every time I fuel well anyway I assumed when they performed all liquid checks that meant windshield washer fluid also
but coming home light came on saying fluid low not only low but out
of course we all know what benny hill says about assume makes an (ass out of u an me)otherwise couldn't find anything else missed.

Very un happy dealership had the truck i wanted.had me fill out a credit ap and whole nine just to find out truck wasnt even maryland state inspected so ran my credit put a hard hit on my credit for a vehicle you couldnt sell me anyway call dealership as per reply and mike doesnt even work there anymore and all i get is we can try to find you another one and if you sent a credit ap then were gonna pull your credit well had your people said it wasnt state inspected i wouldnt have put a credit ap in in the first place then wanna try to switch me to a different diesel perfect bait and switch what a show never going to be there for a truck

I got a really nice deal on this car and just to think, it looks new and has that new car smell too.
I would advise anyone who was looking for a car to stop in and check it out first.

Dishonest Business Practice and Criminal deception

In may of 2013 I purchased a CPO Ford F-150 Platinum. I have the paperwork to document what I purchased. Hagerstwon Ford never entered it in the system as a CPO and now refuses to honor the CPO and told me good luck in court! Eric Carper the General Manager yelled, screamed, tried to threaten and intimidate me to not pursue this action. He also criminally tried to coerce me out of $800 to pay for my truck to be certified. I am told this has happened many times with this particular dealership and they have a cadre of attorney's to fight the claims in small claims court. I think I will attempt a different approach and report criminal business practices. Do not ever buy anything from Hagerstown Ford!

I will never buy another vehicle from Hagerstown ford again!! I recently bought a new car from them.. Before i signed the papers i asked if it was possible for me to get my electric brake kit i just bought for my camper i asked multiple times and each time i got the same answer and They were quick to reply yes mam we will have it pulled out for you and call you when its ready. I called everyday for 2 weeks straight to find out where my brake was for them to tell me that it was being pulled out the next day! I continued to go out there everyday and the same excuse was give 3 weeks have gone by and today my husband calls to find out where the brake kit is to find out that they sold my suv with the brake in it!! I just wanna say thank you very much for lying to your costumers!! And you have lost a valuable customer because of this!! If you didnt want to pull the brake kit out i could have had it done just dont lie to people to sell a new car!! To top it all off the General manager is real proffession to ignore phone calls and not return them!! All they wanted to offer me was a car detailing or an oil change! Really?? My brake kit coast alot more then that!! And for the sales representative to call my husband's phone after i made a poor review asking if it was necessary to make a poor review that's very professional!! Way to go Hagerstown ford for harassing customers after they make a poor review!!

I recently bought another car with my husband and Mike, who was our used car salesman was absolutely amazing!!! He did everything he could to make sure we got into a car. He was very, very patient, as I go through my credit union, on working with me and the process. He always followed up even by text or a phone call whenever there was an update. He was an absolute pleasure to work with.

Very disappointed in the lack of Customer Service from the Tim Rowe, Service Manager!

Tuesday morning, approximately 9:30am Chase left me a message saying they still had not receive the part, he hoped to have it my noon and have my car ready for pickup that day. He added that I should keep the loaner until my car was ready, and that as soon as he spoke with the Service Director, he would give me a call.
At 4:22pm Tuesday, Chase left a message that my car was ready. I still had not received a call from any Manager/Supervisor/Directory.
I called Chase back around 5:00pm. He told me the cost was $599, this was the best whomever he was working with there could do. I again ask to speak to the Service Manager and ask if that was Tim Rowe. He said yes, but he was gone for the day. I ask what time he would be in Wednesday morning. He replied 8:00am. I told him I d be there Wednesday morning and would speak to Tim Rowe at that time.
When I arrived Wednesday shortly after 8:00am, I was told Tim Rowe was not there, he was testing a car. I told Chase I would wait for him. Knowing I needed to get to work in Gaithersburg (1 hour away), he spoke with 2 others to try to get a resolution, who could not help. Then we went to speak with Rob Mercer, Quick Lane Manager. Rob was very pleasant and sympathetic, and consultant with someone else there. I expressed to both Chase and Rob, I understood that electronic parts go bad. My problem was it was not broke with I brought my car in for the recall, but they should have known there was a problem with the fuel level before I left with my car in November. This would have been different conversation had I been told at that time this part had failed. Once I learned the Fuel Level Sending unit was part the fuel pump, I agreed to pay for the part. I still did not feel I should be charged for labor. Ultimately, the resolution was I would pay retail cost for the part only $362.82. Previously I was offered the part at their cost, when they were charging me for labor.
I want to be clear I have no issues with either Chase Phillips or Rob Mercer. They both have excellent customer service skills and were nothing but pleasant and helpful. I find it appalling that the Hagerstown Ford Service Manager, Tim Rowe, refused to contact me for 2 days, then was conveniently unavailable Wednesday morning when I arrived to speak with him. Other times when I have had my car serviced there, he has placed a follow-up call to thanking me. It has now been 2 full business days, and no call from him. Also, previously I have received a survey to complete no survey this time!
I have purchased the last 2 new vehicles from Hagerstown Ford. My next one will NOT be purchased there! I will never return there for any type of service.

I bought a new Ford here when I was 20. Obviously at the time I did not know anything about the car buying process. So, instead of your salesman and loan officer talking me through the process and taking the time to explain everything to me, they decided to take advantage of my ignorance at the time. Not only did I overpay for the car. Which is not at all worth what I paid, but your loan officer did not give me the full details. He signed me up for smart payment plan saying it there would only be debit withdrawal charges. Not a bad deal since I was in college still and had a lot of other matters on my mind. Anyway, he did not disclose the $399.00 membership fee! He was pushing me to sign the documents and didn t explain them at all. He also did not send the proper amount for taxes so when I went to the DMV to get my tags and registration completed, I had to pay an extra $100 out of pocket. Keep in mind I was a college student at the time with no financial assistance. Later on, I worked as a loan officer and learned that the dealership is required to take the proper amount for taxes and send off. Fortunately now I know better and will NEVER purchase another car from you or recommend you to anyone I know. Horrible customer service and business model. Just take advantage to get commission.

Today I woke up thinking my amazing girlfriend was going to get the car she has wanted to get, a 2019 Ford Fusion. Everything was going great, we were introduced professionally given some waters, offered coffee and sat down. We thought we were paying a little over $17,600 out the door. We get down to the pricing and that's when it gets tricky. Ryan Wood had sent her grandmother an email of that price with every rebate that she was qualified for. We get to the dealership and the price was completely wrong. It was $2,000 more than we expected as Ryan Wood lied to us. He is very unprofessional and wasted everyone's time. I feel so sorry for the excellent car salesman there as Ryan Wood gives them a bad reputation. I'm so glad he doesnt do what I do or he would be fired on the spot. He should be fired. I'm glad I'm with Chevy and own a Camaro. Thank you Ryan Wood and Hagerstown Ford for reminding me why I have a CHEVROLET CAMARO.

I can only assume that because we had tattoos and drove up in a 98 Ford F-150 that they assumed we didn't have enough money or credit to purchase a new truck. They were so very wrong. Treated horribly. Salesman was very short with us, like he had no desire to talk to us. Repeatedly wanted us to allow them to run a credit check on us although I told him we were already pre-approved through our credit union. After our "test drive", which my wife and I took on our own because the salesman didn't want to go with us, we were showed paperwork that was about $3000 over the internet price that was advertised. There was no attempt at negotiating, or no attempt to keep us there when we got up to leave because we knew they didn't want us there anymore. We took our business to Koons of Baltimore where we were treated like royalty. Purchased a 2015 F-150 XL which we already pre-approved for. Bad move Hagerstown Ford. Only hit one star cause I had to.

I thought I got $7500 off my new Ranger XLT Sport ...

I thought I got $7500 off my new Ranger XLT Sport for their big black Friday sales event after a lot of back and forth with the salesman. I thought I did ok on the deal till I started seeing other people's deals online...everyone else was saving $10k on the same truck but my salesman acted like I was getting the best deal possible but he made me fight for the rebates! They also lowballed me on my trade by a couple thousand but then the salesperson said he got me another $2k but it's not on the paperwork anywhere. My impression at the time was that I was getting $7500 off total but it's only $6100. We were there for over 3 hours and I was just tired and in a hurry to get out of there. The finance guy never told me my extended warranty was $2800 and gap insurance was $900, I would've never bought them had I known. I got soaked for this truck and yeah it's my own fault for not reading every line on all 50 freaking pages I signed but they were still dishonest and shady. And God forbid you leave a negative review, Jason Ennis will call you personally again and again and again to tell you you're a liar...even though he didn't sell me the vehicle. I got phone records and voicemails to prove it! Check out my review on dealerater, he straight up lies in his rebuttal...he acts like HE lost thousands of dollars and got screwed.

Very disappointed with our experience tonight after making an appt just to receive less than par customer service from the used car department. Beware! These guys are crooks! Took a truck it to fix a heat shield and it fell off on the way home. Then they said it could not be fixed and wanted $400 for a new one. Then had an inspection and they told me I need brakes and rotors. I didn't think that could be true so i declined and took to another shop. Brakes and rotors were fine, he showed me only 50% worn pads and rotors were smooth and correct thickness. I will never go back. Please Drive to Frederick and stay far away from these thieves!

Unfortunately, I found that this dealership had and still does have false information in their ad on an online vehicle and to make matters worse, the vehicle has not been inspected. They suggested to see what it would take to get it inspected. Uhm... wonder what that means? They encouraged another vehicle make and model of which I had no interest in. This was my second chance that I gave them. On the first inquiry months ago, I was promised pictures the same day I called. They called back the next day saying the vehicle was sold and that was after going through at least 3-4 people. Different levels of people would call and then say well so and so is handling that. Now I know I will definately take my business elsewhere.

And I guess when you are paying cash upfront, it is not an incentive perhaps because they may not get as much commission. So I went to another dealer who talked with me and review ed several options. On February 8, 2014 I purchased a 2006 F-250. The vehicle immediately began producing fumes which caused nausea, headaches, dizzyness, and burning of the eyes, nose and throat when the heater was used. I was assured, via phone, that the vehicle was safe. Multiple efforts to contact upper management were unsuccessful. Service efforts to deal with the problem were minimal at best. It took six weeks to get someone to go on a ride with me. Even then the "repair" was unsuccessful. Once, given a weeks notice, the vehicle was left for three working days and was not touched until I called at 5pm on the last day and asked that a previous method be tried again. Rarely was I called with a staus update.
As of April 15, 2014 this serious health concern has gone unresolved. It has been a week since someone has contacted me and my message today went unreturned. This is an extremely abbreviated version of the issue. Across the board; sales, service, financing, and extended warranty implementation this dealership has failed. There can be no recommendation.

Went shopping for a truck all week in the D.C. area. Big mistake. Finally found a deal at Hagerstown Ford and it was well worth the 2hr drive. They had the car ready for me when I arrived. The staff was straight forward and the process was smooth. We had to wait a little longer than I would have liked in the finance office, but it was overall a great experience.

Just bought used 2016 lariat. Ryan woody Wood was my salesman. Awesome guy, he s on his game and we all have our opinions about the proverbial car salesman let me tell ya this guy cares. Texted him while he was off work, sent financial to him to print off and give to finance office.
He s top notch.
Truck didn t have jack in it. Does now because of him. Missing rh rear running board end, not anymore because of him. Knowledge of vehicles he s selling is at the forefront of current standards. This guy is a class act, no BS itter, tells you like it is and is honest and truthful!!
Pleaser doing business with him. Some of these things he s done during Christmas and New Years. We know how busy we are then and Ryan never let the ball drop.

The best salesperson I have ever dealt with!! What an asset to your dealership!! Honestly, I don't know where to start, but one thing I am sure of; I will always buy from Nathan! He was personable and understanding, easy to speak with, and most importantly; not overbearing. He made sure that our specifics were met and bent over backwards to make it happen. He took his time with us, explained everything clearly and made sure we were pleasantly accommodated while he took care of business. It was quite evident that he takes much pride in his career and Hagerstown Ford is all the better for it. He presented professionally and he secured the sale. I just can't say enough good things about the sale...

I just can't say enough good things about the sales staff at Hagerstown Ford. You could just tell that the people involved there would not be genuinely happy unless the customer was. They got me the car I wanted, the pricing was great (sweetened by rebate and financing specials at the time), and I even got a little more than I was expecting for my trade. I know every car dealer gets some good reviews, and some bad reviews. But I'll tell you, I like buying here...I no longer feel I need to shop around when it's time for another vehicle. I know my spouse and I will be treated warmly and respectfully here.

If there would be an option for ZERO stars, I would have selected it. My son bought a car at this dealership. 5 weeks post sale he gets a call that financing fell. He is told to take the car back, and he does as instructed. Two days later and all he is getting is a run around to get his $1000 deposit back. I would NEVER recommend someone go to this place, particularly those that are first time buyers. He still doesn't have his check after being told to come out 3 times to pick it up.

Overall, the car buying experience to many can be stressful, overwhelming, shortcoming and extensive. The staff at Hagerstown Ford, with special attention and consideration to Jack Harris, has made the car buying experience truly flawless and purely enjoyable. Jack's knowledge level of Ford's vehicles (both new and used), the buying experience/process, finance and ultimate customer support is unfathomably extensive never missing a fine detail or taking a shortcut. I would not only highly suggest and refer Hagerstown Ford to anyone looking for a vehicle, but I would give special detail to request and require in my opinion one of the best sales consultants, Jack Harris. I look forward to future purchases and business with Hagerstown Ford and their staff.

Did not have any of the 4 vehicles that were on their web. I had been contacted the day before to schedule a viewing of the trucks and when I arrived for my appointment was told they had been sold the week before but web was not updated. I felt they tried a bait and switch.

Not recommended. Went there because my vehicle was pulling to the side and the brakes were off. They said I needed an alignment. Vehicle didn't drive any better when they were done. Took it to the dealer to find out it was leaking brake fluid and the caliper needed to be replaced. They fixed the problem took it for a test drive and recommended a alignment because the specs were way off. Quick Lane misdiagnosed the problem and the work they did perform wasn't done correctly. One star rating is being generous.

I think Zack Bowie did an amazing job getting us in the Explorer that we wanted and at the price point that we needed to be at. We showed up at the dealership that day not planning on buying for another month or two but he worked so hard to get the right offer in place that we couldnt resist buying at that moment. He is an excellent asset to the Hagerstown Ford and Ford Motor Company.
