Drove there to get oil changed and tires rotated. My rating of four stars is from the 2 hours wait. They don't accept appointments, so your wait is based on first come, first serve. Didn't seem busy, but a two hour wait for an oil change and tire rotation is a little excessive. Regarding the work. It appears to have been performed fine. They do have a clean seating area with a TV. Free water bottles and coffee is also available.
Hagerstown Ford's service department had my truck service in about 45 mins , I was in and out the door in about an hour , I will go back
The young lady that waited on us was very nice and helpful. I appreciate that when we asked for her no one tried to take over. They offered us drinks and a seat. It went smoothly. It's our 2nd vehicle from Hagerstown Ford.

Sometimes you just have to go to the dealer for parts. Twice the price as parts shops. But they have you over the barrel throwing it to you! Honest dealership
At frsit my experience was nice the people where wonderful very help full and to the point then as the day went by the experience got worse and worse. At the end of the frist day i was told repairs would be made to the car frist thing in the morning and it would be ready by the after noon but when i arrived it appeared no work was done let alone looked at. I was then told they would contact me in two days for a date to do the repairs.The following next 4 day there was no contact was attempted. I hand to reach out to them to find out they never even planed on fixing it. After a little conversation i was told to come in so they can look at it to get approved. The repairs to the car was great but after wards i tried to talk about some issue i had with this in doing so had to wait close to 5 hours to talk to some one. One of the issues was the back up camera i was told had installed on the car and second gas mileage i was originally told it was 40 to the gallon but it was only 32-34 and as far as a back up camera it was never there. When asking about that i was told this model doesnt come with one. On the second week the ac and heater started breaking when asking about that i was told they wouldnt look at it... so i started looking over it more carefully to discover that this car was one tooken apart and put back together poorly alot of the pins holding the shell of the car was missing or not all fully put in the car to secure the bumper down.
To me going there was a waste of time and a mistake they lied to me to sell the car. I get it was a used car but i was told that it would be fixed and every thing was in perfect working order. The only good thing there was the was the salesperson. Was very polite and kind this might be lying about the car. I will never enter this building again. Nor will suggest any one to it. And the only reason i give this place a 1 star is cause there are no negatives stars.
Very very happy customer. Bought my matainance package from another Ford dealer and they HONORED my package. They were suppose to anyway. But alot might not be so happy to not get that money upfront. They were very nice even drove me to the mall since I had to wait.
Over all feel is great they seem TRUST WORTHY and I'm impressed with the job they did. I will be back. Hope my feedback shows others they have a good reputation and that is rare these days.
I over heard a man about 80 years old he thought his battery was bad, they tested it and told him the truth it was good. Other shifty people may sell him a new battery but they told him his was ok, I'm impressed. Honesty

#2 They made a huge deal over the car being in 100% condition even though it was being sold as-is. Check engine light came on within 3 miles of leaving the dealership for an undisclosed problem.
The customer care was no issue, and I will continue to take my car there for oil changes/maintenance. However I am very disappointed with the service provided on warranty work to my mustang gt. Upon picking it up from an issue in the transmission, a new issue was introduced as I found the following morning I could not get it to go in reverse. After I could get the car to back out of my driveway and take it back into the service bay the entire experience changed and I was treated with disrespect. Upon picking my car up from there for that repair I found my exhaust was leaking and completely misaligned. I had to pay another mechanic to fix that, again an issue the car DID NOT have prior to their service work. I just do not trust the quality of service work performed for any major repair.Edit, and the output shaft seal on the transmission is leaking not even 100 miles out of their shop.
I was sold a lemon from the used car section. Found out the horn and cruise control didn t worked until we attempted to use both functions. Then we found out it needs a new alternator. Had the used car for under a month and now have to dish out so much money for repairs. Very disappointed with this company

Car was in the shop for over 2 months. Was told it was fixed. It Worked for 3 days...now it s broke again. So I m still making payments on this lemon. Tried to reach out to a manager, no response. I will never give them my business again

Very nice experience. My wife and I live in NY now but like the dealership from prior purchases and leases. We went in on Christmas Eve, and although they were technically closed, they helped us.
We had an expiring lease (lease deal made at Hagerstown Ford) and we were looking to purchase the lease or buy a new Explorer. After test driving a 2017 Explorer and negotiating a price, they went on their way to make sure we didn't have to come back down from NY, all on Christmas Eve. We were very happy with their willingness to stay. Yes, they are trying to make a sale, but it is still gracious of them to stick it out for a few hours.
Overall, great people in the dealership and will likely be back again.
Stop at service center Oct 22 to make appointment to replace a shock on my back door which was under warranty got a appointment for Oct 28th at 10am. So I drop my car off and go in the lounge to wait, 1 hour and 40 minutes later they call my name and he says iam sorry we don't have the part in stock . Thanks for my wasted vacation day . I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership.
Here for a oil change 1/3/20 had a 9am appointment and it 9:50 and my truck is still setting outside this place is the worst this is my last free oil change and iam glad i don't have to deal with this dealership again!!!

Information on website is not what you are told by the sales people. How hard is it to be consistent with what is posted online and what is available??. They also say they will call you back with information and they do not contact you back. I contacted mutiple times and Monica the sales person acts like she could care less about helping a potential customer.
Hagerstown Ford is Awesome, Claudia brought my Wife and myself and my business a total of 8 different vehicles for us to try out. We ended up buying a F350, 2-F-150 and a Titanium Escape. Never stepped foot in the dealership. It was a great experience. I would recomend Eric Carper and Claudia and there crew for your next purchase.

I visited five other dealerships before coming to Hagerstown Ford. Everything from the initial contact to the final delivery of my vehicle was handled with such expertise and professionalism that I wish it had been my first stop instead of my fifth.
My sales person, Becca, was extremely knowledgeable on the Ford vehicles which was a big difference from other salespeople that did not know much but "would get back to me". Becca not only answered my questions without having to look things up or get back to me, but she also thought about things that I would have never thought to ask!
Colin, the finance specialist, was also amazing at his job and worked tirelessly with me to find a solution I could comfortably afford.
I am now a huge fan of Hagerstown Ford and if my experience with their service department is as wonderful as with the sales department, I will probably stick with them for my vehicles as well as my children's vehicles.

Not really happy buy a new car one month ago finding a lot of things that needs work done why I don't know because it's supposed to be a new one why should you have to have work done on it they said if I want another one i could lose 10 000 dollar's now tell me that is good bussness so if you go to hagerstown ford check out the car all over because if you drive off the lot you will lose a lot of money if you bring it back
I will start saying I have always had a good relationship with Hagerstown ford but this last interaction has me beyond disappointed. I went in looking for a used vehicle. Not something I usually buy. I will save you all a very long story to just state that I have been told many things that never happened and feel like I was totally misled. Nothing about this process was simple or painless. I will probably never go back.

Terrible. I showed up this evening motivated to buy a new car. No one acknowledged that I was there even though I made eye contact with 3-4 people. I'll buy a car somewhere else. They would have to give me a car to go back there.
Everyone there was very nice, not pressuring and a delight to talk to for a first time new car buyer. However they had out some sheet about interest rates based on the sticker price which for me was 18.3k. Then it was talked down to what they informed me is invoice price of 17.7k so they naturally had to reprint the interest sheet calculation paper for the new negotiated price.
Needless to say out of all the paper work I ended up signing that day, my own fault for not double checking but I ended up paying 18.3k. So even though that $600 isn't a big deal compared to the overall cost of a new car. The clear threat of taking advantage of first time car buyers like this is a justified reason for disliking Hagerstown Ford. If it wasn't for the fact they were nice and fun to talk to, I would of hated it. But won't change the fact that I will never endorse that dealership to anyone, while at the same time teaching others to not make the mistake I made by not looking at the numbers on the paperwork I was signing more closely.
My dad bought a car from them in January of 2016. Paid for it in cash. They were happy to take his money and upgrade him to some useless warranty. He didn't get an owner's manual. I've asked for this manual 4 times. Still have gotten nothing. A year later, he has still yet to receive his title.
Loving my new Ford Escape Titanium
Walked in for a test drive and drove out in a new Ford Escape. I had done my homework and test drove a few other vehicles but the folks at Hagerstown Ford made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Everyone was so friendly, nice and knowledgeable. Couldn't have better customer service. I live in Baltimore, but bought my car in Hagerstown and will do so again next time I'm in the market for a new car.

This is a horrible place to purchase a used vehicle. I was given bad information about my vehicle from the day I set up my appt to test drive it, then from the salesman, then finance about my loan and they messed up the filing of the registration of my vehicle so I can't drive it. AND no one will call me back or let me talk to a supervisor about getting it fixed.
I called ahead to make sure they had my part drove an hour to get there they did NOT have my part so they ordered it drove and hour the next day to get my part they gave me the Wrong part for my car so yeah wont go back... As for the reply the owner left i tryed to call she said she will give you the message to call me back.
As soon as i got there they haggled me on my down payment and tried to sell me cars way over my buget idk about the shop tho so im not going to say anything bad about that part
Good experience, they were able to get our truck in right away for repairs and back out the door within 3 days. The only complaint I have is the cost of the repairs were extremely high which is very difficult during these times.
love this place when I first went to Hagerstown Ford I went there firm and very firm about Appraising my car. We met Tom the seller and I told him what I wanted and was expecting and promise that he will get it done for me to the best of his ability. Service reps kept me updated on progress of repairs. They were very helpful. Repairs were made quickly and correctly. Quick service is exactly that. Even when they were busy I received an oil change, tire rotation and notification of scheduled services that were due within a hour. I hardly had time to relax and enjoy the free cup of copy before the service was completed.
Drove 180 miles from Philadelphia to Hagerstown to purchase a 2010 F150. The dealership said that the car has no rust, was never in an accident, and no known body work. Also that the truck was 100% functional and ready to pass inspection.
As soon as I exited the car I saw the front end was a little out of shape. And after further inspection I noticed that the front fenders, front bumper, bumper mounts, hood and bumper lip have been replaced and repainted poorly. Also the grill, grill lips, and fender lip was still broken. There was rust on several parts of the body ( expected of an older truck, but not disclosed by dealer). The rear leaf spring was broken and had a manifold exhaust leak that was being pulled into the car through the cabin filter.
The dealership played dumb and said "we didn't know," though they do a full inspection before listing the vehicle and an even better inspection when the previous owner traded it in.

I was disappointed with recent service. I had a small issue and the only problem but it wasn't fixed. I was so confident it was repaired I didn't notice until a day later, otherwise, the people are friendly and do attempt to give excellent service. I know the issue will be corrected the next time I have it serviced

I went to get a car on Saturday. I took a drive test and everything and ready to get it. when the salesman gave me the invoice the price was higher than what was online I told him so, he went and fixed it. after that he left and someone else took care of me. we were talking abt the price being to high. we were at 390 for 72 months I think. I told him I would get the car if he went down to 370. he left and came back with 375 for 75 months. I was like what the hell, it is even more expensive. I was so pissed because he tried to trick me. I am good with numbers other than that I want even noticed he changed the months. when I was telling him that, he got mad and gave me the face well you take it or you leave it. I told him to give me my keys I wanna leave. that is when the other guy came around and when I explained him what was happening. he went like it is only 5 $ difference. first of all, that is not the point. second of all, u don't tell a customer it is only this. even if it is a dollar difference, maybe it is nothing for u but it is something for someone. also, if it is only, why don't you take it off.
I left without getting the car, and so pissed for wasting my time there. when I got home , that is when I got really really pissed. how much is the tax rate? I have 3 different invoices, the first rate was 6.8, the 2nd was 6.95 the last was 7.05.. how is that even possible?
people always check yours numbers with them, they try to trick people. they gave you a big amount of rebates and just add it by a lot different ways. I don't even know if I wanna go back and ask for another salesman or drive down to Frederic to get my car

Not only did they go above and beyond to get her into her new ride, they did it while still helpibg three other customers. My salesman mayor Bob,, I cannot say enough good things about him.. He worked with me to make sure I had the right truck to fit my needs with price and options.. I let him know my situation right from the beginning and he made sure he made every situation work out.. He had more confidence in me than I had.. The finance department also was great to deal with in explaining everything to me in detail.... And Eric carper as a General manager is great as well he always made sure we was taken care of... Again I can't say enough good things about our buying experience .... I would definelty recommend them to anyone

Plus my moms health isn't the greatest they were so kind concerning that and instead of us waiting there all day they gave us a ride back while they worked on our car plus made sure to come get us and take us back to Hagerstown from WVa. This is a review for the used dealer....Only getting 2 stars because they had some nice used vehicles....the sales persons were not the best as the guy I had was on Facebook, going and doing other things while I sat there interested in vehicles. My appraisal took about 40 minutes which was ridiculous. When I told them no, they didn't even try and keep me there to negotiate or anything. What a joke

Everybody I encountered was friendly and helpful, when I went into finance office everything was explained to me so I could understand what exactly I was buying and what the terms were and also taught a few things I didn t know. Very satisfied!
They had my truck twice for the same issue and they didn't fix the problem. The mechanics use their cell phone excessively while test driving your vehicle!! and yet they don't use the seatbelts!!!
