Awesome place to stay in the Ortigas area, but not without issues. Some decor in the rooms and public hotel areas such as the elevator vestibules and inside the elevators themselves and hallways need some freshening up. Dark lighting, not the cleanest carpet, and some metal details need to be polished or replaced as they looked worn. Our room had wood panelled sinks (underside) that clearly needed a fresh coat of varnish. The marble surround of the bathtub also looked like it needed a fresh sealing. Little touches like that make a huge difference. Also, there is a distinct odour in the elevators... They may want to use a diffuser scent in there or something.

The best part of the hotel is the access to Galleria mall. Sooooo convenient! I would stay there again if only for the access to the mall!

I had my best time of Manila at Crowne Plaza Manila where I attended Cocktail party hosted by Government of Philippines and the Republic of Palau. The Crowne plaza is in the hub of city and at walking distance from Asian Development Bank headquarters. It is super good place of accommodation in Manila. #LetsGuide

Internet had been upgraded! The previously very slow wifi is now fast and efficient. The only drawback is my reservation was for 3 people, they gave us 1queen size bed so my husband ended up sleeping in the couch We were too tired from long driving to ask to be transferred to another room

We had our corporate christmas program there. Comfort room is clean. Food is good. Sound system is ok; better than marco polo ortigas. Sound guy was requested to play drumroll sound on-the-spot; he immediately delivered.

Its a bit old, but they do change carpets or paint the walls every 4-5 years. There is access to 7-11 for the budget traveller at the opposite building and an entrance to Robinsons mall. The mall opens at 10am tho. The Grand Ballroom is not bad nor good either. They are on the pricey side.

A fine hotel to stay at in Manila. Old but well kept rooms, spacious and with international power sockets. WiFi included and reasonably fast. Breakfast buffet is tops! Note that debit cards cannot be used for safety deposit.

Crowne Plaza is an aging hotel with seriously over priced rooms and services. Considering alternatives in the area at the same price point which offer significantly better lodging, I would not stay here again. Although the location is great (near several large malls in the middle of Quezon City), everything in the hotel seems to be priced to exploit wealthy patrons. For example, spa services and breakfast cost four times what it would anywhere else in Manila, and the quality was always sub-par. The rooms are also deteriorating. Lights flicker, old alarm clocks barely work, and it simply can't be justified at it's price point.

Was here for the 1st time late last year when our High School's Golden Jubilee event was held at their Main Ballroom. Booked months before so I had discounts. Stay was comfortable all-throughout my 2 nights, 4 days stay. What i liked also was the complimentary tray of fruits as a "welcome treat" as having been on a late morning flight with no lunch yet at mid afternoon- it was just completely perfect! Their people are professional, warm and have excellent customer service - from the Managers down to their staff, no exceptions. Impressed much! Wouldn't have second thoughts in booking here again when in Manila. Room had great views, too- Ortigas skyline (sans the traffic)!
