We had a great room, clean, comfortable, good facilities, excellent staff and service. Good location for much of London's sites and places to see.
Coming back for sure. Among the top 2% I have stayed in. Thanks from my wife and I.

Catered event. Shockingly slow service. Also unable to remember dietary requirements (vegan) so waiters tried to give me a cheese starter twice and a lamb main 3 times,
When it came the vegan starter was about 7 tiny slices of cold veg (aubergine, courgette, pepper) the main was a dull mushroom risotto, and the dessert fruit salad. Baby food. No crunch, no bite, no texture. None of it hot, none of it looking like any chef skill required at all. Awful.

Wonderful hotel with the best view of Tower Bridge.. The rooms here are cute, nice, warm and cosy.
Looove the floor heating in the bathroom.
And the champaign we received on arrival day that was sent to our room.
The mini bar was also included in our package.

Elevators didn't work most of the time. :-(
Boardrooms were well equipped and comfortable and staff are friendly.

Fantastic room and unbeatable location. I removed one star because when I made the reservation, I used their price matching guarantee and they initially fought me on it. I removed another star because my room wasn t ready until two hours after check in and was given a single coffee as an apology. I was sent a survey while staying and the survey said that I would be contacted within 2 hours if I had left anything that needed addressing. I was never contacted. I would stay there again with some hesitation. I loved the hotel room and the view but as has been indicated in other reviews from other people, their customer service needs to improve.

Amazing location Located next to the Tower Bridge. I visited the hotel restaurant only and the views from the restaurant set you just beneath Tower Bridge. Both hotel staff and menu are of a high quality, definitely a place to visit for a pleasant meal.

A very central hotel located right next to Tower B...

A very central hotel located right next to Tower Bridge. My allocated room had a great view overlooking the bridge and the Thames. The hotel is conveniently within walking distance to a tube station and many London attractions and amenities.

Sadly, the location of this hotel is my only real positive thing to say. The room was very small and basic with a tiny television which I couldn't work. There were no plug sockets next to the bed (it's surprising how many hotels out there don't consider this basic amenity) and the room telephone was on the other side of the room. It meant having to physically get out of bed to answer the wake up call. Having to do this meant I was actually awake so perhaps this inconvenience is actually a positive!

Room also had thin walls and at 6am I was woken up to sounds of somebody in the room above slamming drawers and doors. The bathroom was also so tiny it felt crowded when I was in there and it was difficult to get the water temperature right.

The room heating was also uncomfortably hot and I couldn't cool down the room without opening the window. When I woke up, it felt like I was in a sauna!

Overall, very basic accommodation. Room was very small, even by London pricing standards. I've stayed in IHG hotels in London that are much more comfortable and similar price range. I therefore wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Issues with checking in and issues with the complimentary breakfast - they did resolve this by a upgrade of room but felt this was far too late. Would come again for the view and location, but customers service was really poor.

Great service, room with everything you'd need and a view to make any stay special.
Stayed in a Executive room with a Tower Bridge view and would highly recommend this. Just being able to sit in the room for a while and watch the view is something you rarely get a chance to do and well worth it.
Also with the room we had club room access with an array of snacks and drinks available in a more private area. This again just adds to the experience and made it one of the best stays I've had (even though the building from the outside and room can look a tad tired). Quite expensive sadly but for the location we can't complain.

Staff were friendly, apart from one young lady at breakfast who didn't look like she was a morning person. Not saying a word but nodding her head to get me to follow to a table, a little odd but hey.

The room I had was possibly the furthest it could be from the lifts, a good 2 minutes walk, which made nipping out a bit of a bind. But it's a big hotel and someone had to get that room.

Bed was comfortable, room had everything you would expect present, although it did look a little worn around the edges. Could probably use a refresh as it was a little dated. Towel rail heater wasn't working and there was a volume dial in the bathroom which I couldn't figure out why it was there.

During the epic march to and from the lifts, I noticed a cupboard that had been broken into at some point in the past. Rather than replace the door, it just had a padlock and hasp put on there. Doesnt inspire confidence that your room will be secure while you're out when you see that.

I'd stay again if I needed to visit the area, comfy and a little worn around the edges, just like me.

Would like to stay again, really nice, rooms, the rooms differ from classic to modern they are all kitted out with mini bar, ironing board and iron and the views from the upper floors are out of this world ( especially the Tower Bridge side).

Nice hotel adjacent to the Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. We reserved a room with a bridge view but could only see a portion of it as we were on the wrong side of the building. Disappointing. For an "Executive Room". it was small and could use updating.

We were there in December and the heat was a problem. It had one setting and that was On or Off as the temperature control did nothing. If you left the heat on during the day and turned down under 20 degrees when you were out, when you returned the room was stifling hot. The only way to cool it off was to shut off the heater and open a window.

We normally stay in Westminster and decided to try this location for something different. The location is nice but after you see the Bridge and the Tower of London, you run out of nearby things to do.

If you want to stay in this area, it is a good place to stay for an non-outrageous price.

We had booked a standard double room for five nights on a business/pleasure trip and we're upgraded, free of charge by the front desk to a family room. It was very nice and roomy and a great place to retreat to.
We had a problem with the room being warm and we were set a very good fan and we're able to open two windows to get some fresh air circulating. Worked pretty well. Also the cold water taps ran hot at the end of the day and when we asked to have it checked we were told just to run the taps for a while and it would get cold...quirky but doable once you figure it out. Some people would have been in sensed by these issues but the staff were doing their best and always polite and helpful.
Interesting trip, great location and view.

Attended a conference here very recently. Facilities in the conference room were good and the refreshments at the breaks were excellent. The quality/variety of the buffet lunch was also excellent. Also the friendliness of staff, washroom facilities and availability of taxis outside.

Great location, particularly if you re a visitor to London (which I m not)!

Standard room but has everything you need, nothing spectacular but all fine. If you're on the South side of the hotel you might be lucky with a river view, which is really nice. The location is great and improving as they develop the surrounding area with new cafes and restaurants.

Lovely view (paid extra for a tower bridge view) but the place is a little dated - very 90s and the breakfast was manic; made up of toasting your own bread and almost walking into all the staff rushing about. No saucers with cups either so I had no where to put my spoon. These are the little touches you'd expect such highly-rated establishment to have thought of.

Had utterly bad experience. First time in my life, this hotel made me violate a religious practice by delivering a non-veg pizza when ordered for a vegetarian pizza. What left me puzzled was, I have sought confirmation from the waiter when the pizza was delivered on the table (Table 22, 9 PM on May 14 2019) and the waiter confirmed that it is vegetarian pizza. We started consuming the pizza. Few minutes later, one more waiter came and told us not to eat that pizza as it is non-vegetarian pizza. I started throwing up ever since.
I am going through terrible mental trauma and physical reactions (continuous vomiting). The restaurant manager says, I need to send them an email and they will respond as per their process. He seemed to be completely indifferent to my physical and mental condition I am going through. I would never recommend vegetarian to visit this restaurant - Vicinity. Before we were delivered the wrong order, there were two more attempts to deliver something on our table that we never ordered.
Looks like the restaurant has no skilled staff, no process to deliver to Customers.
Restaurant manager is unable to answer why the waiter gave us wrong info on the pizza or is it that the waiter doesn't differentiate a veg and non-veg pizza. Are they having right skilled staff ?

Ideally placed if visiting London. Close to Tower Bridge. Abundant eateries and bars close by. Excellent room within the hotel and very helpful staff. The only downside was it was exceptionally busy at breakfast time, so much so that, due to time constraints we had to forego breakfast. Such a shame but hotel guests need to be aware and go down for breakfast early if time is of the essence.

I attended a wedding here. Beautiful place with great views from the room windows. The function rooms and halls are also very well placed. Coatroom staff were a bit off in their own world and took about 20 minutes to carry out a simple task, but everything else made up for it. The layout is a little confusing at times, but the decor makes up for that.

Nice views and clean rooms but can do with a face-lift and the TVs are very limited. Lots of buttons and switches in rooms that don't do anything. Couldn't control room heating as it was boiling hot. Maintenance, despite being asked twice didn't bother turning up to fix the temperature.

Went for afternoon tea. Reserved online, but when we got there they didn't see our reservation, fine enough, they had a table for us though.

Unfortunately it was in the far corner, with no view. It was clear we were given this table because it was the last one that hadn't been reset for dinner service. Dissappointing. The table was set for 2. We had 3 people. One was my daughter. They brought a chair but never ANY tableware.

We order the classic afternoon tea (the food, tea and presentation was fine). The server left before we could tell what my daughter (you know the 3 year old in a dress who was clearly excited for the tea party...) wanted.

We had to flag down a DIFFERENT server to order an orange juice for her.

I get it, this place imagines itself as upscale. Upscale means you don't cater to my daughter, that would be fine. It is however just stupid to assume she isn't eating ANYTHING (and doesn't need tableware of any form) and also isn't drinking anything.

Overall, I feel like they wish we hadn't come, and did nothing to make an experience great for my daughter. They didn't need to make anything special for her, but you know it would have been nice to bring her a plate.

My stay at the Tower Hotel was very pleasant. The room was very nice, clean, well presented and equipped with an enormous and very comfy bed. Bathroom facilities were also very nice. The breakfast spread was great too, a wide variety of food hot and cold. It's ideally located on the Thames with a nice outside eating area and a walk to the Tower Hill Tube is but a couple of minutes away. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone else staying here, be it couples, business or leisure and I would not hesitate to return myself.

I was taken here for afternoon tea to celebrate my 60th by my very good friends. The champagne, sandwiches, cakes and selection of teas was of a very good standard. All of this was only enhanced by the lovely setting overlooking the Thames on a beautifully sunny afternoon.

I have been stolen from:

My friend and I planned to tour Europe before the Corona pandemic the hotel has plainly out and out refused to refund or even credit our money for a later date in this horrific and devastating time and events that no one could have foreseen.

We are extremely and highly disappointed that company has taken this opportunity and approach to penalize us because of this global disaster to refuse to give up services not rendered when the world has
stopped running and my job has been eliminated.

This money may not have been a lot of money for your hotel but it was/is a life time of blood sweat and tears to make.

I also worked in a major hotel in Las Vegas Nevada and my company refunded every one in this time of crisis.

I am not used to this treatment and it is very poor customer services.

You should be embarrassed and ashamed.

Re-gratefully

The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, very helpful and totally professional throughout. The lifts are very slow and rooms unfortunately, are a little dated and seem to have no air conditioning. The meeting rooms in the other hand are great, with a range of large rooms, facilities and exceptional food. Would definitely return for a much more relaxing stay.

Stayed here for one night while on a business trip. All-round an excellent hotel. Felt welcome from the moment I checked in, with polite and efficient staff offering everything I needed.

The room itself was great. Came with everything you'd expect for a hotel of this standard, and was of course very clean. The view of tower bridge by itself was worth the price of admission, and has to be seen to be believed.

In the morning I was able to sample the breakfast service. Again, the service was exemplary. The range of food and drink was wide, accommodating various tastes and diets.

The checking out process was simple and efficient. Was almost sorry to leave. The service really made me feel at home, and it'll be hard to beat a room with a view like that every again. Easy recommendation from me.

For a hotel in this location I thought it would cost more than it did. In my opinion, the hotel rate is more than fair.

Location - literally beside the Tower Bridge. Very close to subway station and to tourist attractions.

Lots of food choices around including a few places for a drink or two.

The room - it was a good size. Modern decorations inside and usual amenities are included. The view, depending on where your room is located, is amazing.

Staff - everyone is helpful and is accommodating as possible. The breakfast staff, especially the lady who books people in, are very nice, cheerful, and helpful.

Although there are bits of the hotel that seemed old, you can see the place is well taken care of.

We stayed here back in the new year and it was fantastic. Our room faced the bridge so had an incredible view, and had everything we needed. The hotel was quiet, bed was comfy and the staff were friendly. The breakfast the next morning was delicious - again such a lovely view from the room its served in - and the hotel is in a great location. Would definitely come back!

I was at the tower hotel for a hosted event. We were in one of the conference rooms. It was very nice with cloakroom and wash room facilities to itself.

Immaculate clean.

Food and drink was good and staff were busy making sure there was plenty for everyone and no dirty plates lying around.

Would be an amazing hotel to stay at. The views on the river side would be stunning.

I booked this as part of a package through Omega travel that included a trip to the Saatchi gallery to see the Tutankhamen exhibition. We were told that rooms may not be available until around 4pm however arrived about 2pm to be told we had been allocated room 357 which was ready. Nice clean, warm comfortable room, with a great shower and a very nice view of Tower Bridge. Slept well in a very comfy bed. Breakfast was included in our package which was a buffet style, both hot and cold food available, all of which was very good. There are some window seats that overlook St Katherines dock however these filled up quickly. Checkout (around 9am) was busy but painless. we had a drink in the hotel bar the previous night that has great views over the Thames and Tower Bridge. All in all a great deal from our package in a clean comfy hotel with a fantastic location.

This hotel is getting quite old and it shows. The fixtures and fittings are tired and worn. The TV system is old fashioned and has really poor picture quality.
My room was cold. The Aircon system seemed to make no difference. The dial just had a plus and minus symbol, adjusting it made no difference to the temperature. No idea if in the summer it is cooled or not.
Room service did not clean the drinking glasses from the room or the bathroom and just left them where I left them. I had to wash them myself. The face flannels were not replaced when I left them in the bath.
There are no power sockets near the bed to charge your phone or anything.
The breakfast staff are rude and unhelpful. I had to get up from my table and ask for a pot of tea everyday I was there. When I was standing in the breakfast queue with my plate, a staff member pushed past me between the counter and myself, knocking my plate with his shoulder. Not acknowledgment, never mind an apology.
The room serve has a five pound delivery charge! The restaurant has a mandatory service charge. The prices you see on the menus are not what you pay.
Last thing. At checkout wasn't even asked how my stay was. I had to ask for a print out of my invoice. They obviously don't care.

Just enjoyed a weekend here. Overall it's a nice place to stay with very friendly staff. The room was a little 'tired' but that also gave it some character.

Only 2 small complaints, noisy neighbours made worse by a connecting door that stopped zero sound and the TV system was rubbish.

I would definitely stay here again.

The view from a tower view room was lovely.

The view from a tower view room was lovely.
The staff were very helpful and professional.
The bed was comfortable, if not a little too firm.
The breakfast was very large, very much worth the extra as it will keep you going all day. Didn't need lunch.

when entering the room we found rubbish under the tea cupboard which was a little concerning as it was easily visible. It was not removed during the "room cleaning" in the morning. Makes me wonder how well they actually clean the rooms. For price I would have expected a little bit better.

the air conditioning was broken and switched on at all times, and was too loud for me to be able to sleep. I did inform them and they sorted it.
The mini fridge was also broken which was fustrating but didn't make too much difference to our stay.

with this hotel you are paying for the view and location and a roof over your head for the night, both are fantastic.
