The perfect location can be recognized directly but my experience with staff and rooms was also excellent. Even from the back of the hotel (without the view of the Tower Bridge) you have a sweet view of the chic St. Katharine Dock. The price is reasonable, but I strongly advise to book or reserve in advance. If you would like to have a closer look at the docks I can recommend a visit at The Dickens Inn (Pub, Grill, Pizzeria). Enjoy.

The room was quite good, but not the best. It didn't have have a mini fridge. However it did have fantastic views, see attached pictures. The price is also good for central London. It is a short trip to the nearest tube station and plenty to see right out the door. Well worth staying here.

The hotel itself is maybe only worth a good three stars as the decor is looking a little worn now as it's probably between 10 and 20 years tired. The breakfast was quite average and I had to ask twice for coffee as my initial request was obviously forgotten. However the hotel's location is obviously a premium in two significant ways. Firstly. It's right next to both Tower Bridge and also the Tower of London, for the tourist, just brilliant. However, for the business traveller, a major plus is the aspect of the hotel. If you have a room on the front of the hotel overlooking the river and the bridge then great but even if you're at the back of the hotel, you overlook St Catherine's Dock. No grotty back alley that you don't even want to open your curtains for. This is what lifts the hotel to a four star review.

The hotel looks amazing when you first enter but its been nothing but disappointment. When I first arrived after booking a room here of course. We booked two rooms with two seperate beds. We got to the rooms to see one king size bed in each room. We call them tell them whats wrong wait 15 mins for them to fix it. Finally they fix it by finding two rooms with two seperate beds but says we have to pay more for the rooms. So we pay an extra 200 pounds in total for the rooms we were suppose to have ....cool. We get to the rooms and I promise you they were literally one king bed in each room again. AGAIN. So we call them again and this time had to wait 40 minutes for them to finally get us the actual rooms we wanted. If your looking for a great hotel its not here.

Room was lovely but unfortunately room service was sub par... I called for food and an alcoholic beverage. I received a call about paying for (2x when I only requested 1) said beverage, which was included in my business allowance. Apparently this was not on record, so I asked for a call back in 5 minutes when I could retrieve the booking information.
I did not receive a call back within 20-30 minutes so I called room service again, to provide the necessary information and to offer alternative payment, at which point I was asked if I'd ordered food, to then be told it was too late for the food I had ordered (which had been accepted before).
Poor service for such a highly priced accommodation.
Would expect more.

On our arrival we had just gone to our room when there was a fire alarm...we found out later this is one of 2 a year. At the time we didn't know this and left the room quickly. There were no staff around to help. This needs to be addressed as we had had no time to familiarise ourselves with the fire escapes so found the nearest staircase. This turned out to be a back staircase. Most worryingly it was full of cigarette ends. This is totally unacceptable.
The hotel is in a perfect position but we were very disappointed with our room. Beautiful view but the room itself needs tlc. No fridge and no bedside table. Little milk for tea. We asked for these things but at no stage did they arrive. An expensive stay for little reward.

Mediocre hotel. Stayed there for 3 nights last week and it wasnt the best. They explicitly advertise fast and free wifi yet I found it very very slow. And even when I did manage to get a connection - it would kick me of after 10 minutes of use. The 'gym' is hardly a gym. It's the size of a shoe box with equipment from the 1980's. One treadmill, one bike and one rower with a medicine ball and matt.

Breakfast in the mornings was like a cattle market. I often found the service to be slow and sluggish. Best bit of advice I could give is dont bother wasting your money. You're better off paying for a Travelodge or Point A hotel in that area of London.

It wasn't bad, just not as good as expected. About average, even at a discount. Would have had better comments, but for the Brasserie experience. Couldn't get them on the phone to make a reservation, finally walked in to an almost empty restaurant. Service was good, but the food was unremarkable at any price.

Great venue for small events.
Staff are very helpful and exhibition/breakout area is kept clean. Toilets are kept clean too.
Plus the views are great. Better if it's in summer I guess, but as it is January it's keeping the delegates inside for talks and breaks to admire the view from within.

The staff was friendly and helpful. It was my first trip abroad and everyone was so charming and did everything they could to make sure our trip was memorable. From the Concierge to the Housekeeping staff they were professional, friendly and charming. It was the trip of a lifetime and when I go back, I would stay there again. Thank you all for a wonderful experience!

I know the Tower Hotel well and have used it for various functions and family visits for over 40 years.
If you wish to sit comfortably and have a drink then where better than the X1 bar on the Ist floor which overlooks Tower Bridge ?
The Vicinity restaurant has been added over the last year on the ground floor and six of us had an excellent meal on a friday evening overlooking Tower Bridge. There is outdoor dining as well if the weather is good. Well recommended and the restaurant staff are very attentive.
However dont just expect to turn up and get a table overlooking the Bridge , it is best to pre book at busy times.

Had our dinner with my husband and our friends in their restaurant. Food was very nice, specially the steak I ordered. Staff was very friendly except our food came a little late to our table. But it's a great hotel to stay and have dined.

Nice room, but tiny... Only one side of the bed was floor.. The other side was wall! Also had blood stains on the towel. Luckily there was a spare. TV was nice size, view was nice and the 2indows actually opened a little.

The tower hotel in a really useful location. However it's beginning to feel in serious need of a refit. The rooms are reasonable, but getting tired (room safe in my room has no door... for example).
Every morning this week the main breakfast room has been fundamentally unable to meet the demand for places from about 7:30-9:00 am, and it's not peak season yet.
Bar food is hit & miss. Mezza platter was pretty good, pizza a microwaved horror, etc.
Still a great location, but for the price there's other hotels in the area that are much better now. Investment needed.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Had an amazing view of river from room. Room was lovely and loved my huge bed! Lovely breakfast, was busy but plenty of choice and stocked food items. Would highly recommend this hotel

Brilliant service and room. We always stay here if we are in London. It was our wedding anniversary and when they found out we were given a complementary bottle of wine. Fantastic customer service.

The view and lication are great. The rooms are very small and definitely need refurbishing. Breakfast is OK, just regular English one. Overall, nothing special but not much to complain about. Good to sleep over during a business trip.

Fantastic location right by Tower Bridge. Can get busy at breakfast with coach parties.

If you are taller than average (I am) you will find low ceilings in the hotel entrance and the bedroom vestibules that will make you uncomfortable.

Rooms are spacious and clean with good quality bathrooms.

Exellent Hotel. Great location.

Exellent Hotel. Great location.
If you get a room with a view at tower bridge phenomenal.
The staff at check in/out are very nice and helpful, so are the concierge. Nice bar at the first floor for a late night cap.
Rooms clean and very good beds to sleep in.
Although I missed a pen and paper plus a sewing kit.
We will be back to this hotel for sure

The view and the location of the hotel cannot be more wonderful. Though if you are looking for a luxury hotel with nice interior design and facilities, this isn t it. The rooms have old and worn furnitures. The wall paints chipped off in my room. The Inside of the hotel is just much less nice compared to the outside. But still, because of the view, it was a great stay!

95 degrees in London and The Tower has no air conditioning..... and no ice readily available. After sightseeing I was able to get a glass of ice from the bar. Windows designed to open only a a couple of inches.
Location is great adjacent to Tower of London, London Bridge, Water ferry and many restaurants, bars, and pubs. It will be a long night.

Breakfast is a chaotic buffet.
Our dinner's main course's duck was too tough to finish.
Great location on the Thames. View either towards the river, or over St. Katherine's Dock.

This hotel has fantastic views of the Thames and Tower Bridge if you have a high up room facing that direction. The reception area is very modern however the bedroom was a little dated. Also the bedroom walls were very thin and I could hear the man next door coughing all night. The bath didn't look particularly great however it was more chipped than dirty. The facilities of the room were fantastic, tea, coffee, biscuits, TV, hairdryer and room service available. The bed was comfy however I did have another room adjacent to mine that I could see into on the 7th floor (room 753) which didn't make me feel comfortable. I couldn't hear any noise from outside, the windows were great.

Great view from the room but strange sleeper room had bed against the wall when it doesn t need to be and out dated slam fire doors kept us awake. Not what you would except from a four star hotel

We had a pleasant afternoon tea here on a Saturday sunny autumn's afternoon. Small selection of tea but enough for choice. The sandwiches were soft, scones were warm and desserts were as expected. We did have a window seat, however the view of Tower Bridge was obscured with a large tree outside but it was good for people watching. The atmosphere was as expected. Service was also good.

This place has a wonderful location and staff. The lobby is beautiful. The view from our room was beautiful. Right across the street from the London Tower (Most historical place in London). Room service had a full menu 24 hours. Unfortunately, when you get to your rooms they are kind of run down. Not well taken care of. Stained showers, doors damaged, do not have your own thermostat. Felt like you were on an old run down cruise ship once you got off the elevators. I will probably stay somewhere else next time although it wasn't a horrible experience.

Went for Afternoon Tea in The Gallery. The food itself was fine - what you'd expect of afternoon tea. However, the service was really quite poor. We were greeted by a woman who's English wasn't great. This wouldn't be a problem if she didn't also mumble and speak very fast. The other servers didn't really say anything that was useful either.
We were told that we could not order any cold drinks separately which seems a bit silly given that we could basically see the bar from where we were - what would someone do if they went with a child (or anyone else) that didn't want to drink tea?
When our teapots of hot/boiling water arrived, the server thought it would be a good idea to carry 4 teapots with only 2 hands. This meant that a large amount of very hot water kept tipping out of the spouts. Luckily it didn't scald anyone or made any possessions soggy, but seems like a very silly thing to do. We noticed that this happened for almost every table around us, apart from a large group, where a tray was used to carry the teapots - what a novel idea!
The teapots were quite tea stained and not looking the cleanest.
So, all in all, everything was ok apart from the slightly clueless seeming servers.

Staying for work, great location. Wonderful views. Room was as expected apart from the temperature, it was freezing! Staff put a portable radiator in the room which solved the issue. Good breakfast. All staff helpful, friendly & polite.

The rooms are great, the service is delightful and the breakfast is nice. The location is a bit hard to find the first time, but once you're there, you will find it again. It has 3 Starbucks and a Tesco nearby, as well as a boating dock. The Tower Bridge is in great view for half the rooms, or if you go outside. There's a concierge service in the lobby for keeping your bags.

Dreadful Staff let's this hotel down. Had to wait 40 mins to get into room couldn't check in until 4pm because the room hadn't been cleaned. Booked an executive club room with a view for a special birthday break. Had to queue 20 minutes to get breakfast dirty tables stacking up with no one clearing them so the queue just got longer and longer customers getting very irrate. Exceptionally rude bar staff, went to complain at reception twice but they literally didn't want to know. Do not recommend staying here.

Second time I've stayed there. Great location, friendly service and nice rooms with a superb view; that you will probably have to pay for unless you're lucky when you check in.

This time was for an awards ceremony and it was very good facilities.

I've also been there for afternoon tea which was pleasant.

Amazing location and views if you get a bridge side room. Really lovely rooms although a little dated. Immaculately clean and well presented. Typical London prices. But those views...Amazing. Bit out the way for central London and tubes but if you like walking it's fine. Starbucks right next door. Really good hotel. I loved it. Went to the theatre which was in view of my room and then the Ivy brasserie. Fabulous trip.

Lovely rooms. Good size rooms. Very well maintained. Best location to get to various tourist spots. Just 4-5 mins walk away from the subway-train station. Also was surprised to see coffee machine in my room.

Another professional event at the Tower hotel... And I'll have to admit that after the last one I was looking forward to it. We were in the same space as last time... The Tower suite and the Bridge suite. I can't remember which was which, but the presentation facility was excellent with decent AV capabilities. For me though, whilst the space outside the presentation area is good, with stunning views of Tower Bridge and the Shard, it wasn't great for what the organisers of the event were trying to use it for. Not a reflection on the hotel by the way. Catering was excellent (a beef dish to die for and really good cookies in the afternoon). Staff were pleasant and helpful. I'm looking forward to when I need to go there for the next event.

Very nice hotel that is right next to the Tower Bridge. The staff is very efficient and friendly and the accommodations, included breakfast, etc. are all first rate. For Americans, there are a few small things that we are unaccustomed to, but that is, of course, the reason we travel!
The staff goes out of their way to make you feel special and welcome.
The location is very accessible including a water taxi adjacent and several very good restaurants nearby. There was even a street food fair right outside. The hotel is also very quiet and serene in the rooms.
Recommended if you're looking for a nice place to stay in London.

Nice views but thats all to be honest. Bathroom needs proper redecorating , fridge wasn't working notified reception and they entered the room whilst we were not there and left noisy mini cooler which didn't really work either. Reception staff rude and unhelpful.

Lovely hotel, good position right by the tower of London in St Katherine's Dock area. Plenty to explore on foot. The only disappointment was the Starbucks on the ground floor. Breakfast at the hotel was good and our room was lovely. Would definitely go back

AN AMAZING HIGHLIGHT on our wedding day
Unbeatable Location with stunning views on the River Thames and the Marina. We enjoyed the "EXECUTIVE DOUBLE" in 2018, it was a blending and overwhelming experience for the two of us, we were absolutely satisfied with the excellent service! Open your minds for an extraordinary hotel like this............... THANK YOU SO MUCH from the NORTH OF GERMANY :))

A little dated. That goes for everything bathroom especially and no usb sockets in the room but if you have a fax there is a plug for that. Breakfast was nice and good quality but very busy. Staff were well mannered. Restaurant was a bit chaotic but the food was fine

I love this hotel. The views are fab. (See pic) The rooms are sometimes a bit dated but lovely. The staff are super. The service is great. I would stay here all the time when I am in London if I could. It is not one of the cheapest that's for sure but you get what you pay for and I think the service and location are worth the bit extra.

I would just like to say we had a great time at the Tower Hotel.

All staff where very friendly and willing to help at all times. The rooms where lovely and clean.

Must say a big Thank you to Till at (Customer relations ) who helped solve an issue we had when we arrived at the Tower Hotel with our booking. The company we book with had not sent the confirmation through correctly that we where coming so we had to pay for our rooms again (Shock Shock Horror ) We spoke with Till the next day and he sorted it and gave us a full refund. Later that night we had a knock on the door a large bottle of wine and Chocolates was presented to us from the Hotel. Plus we where giving free breakfast every day during our stay. Till Thank you again for your help and kindness. You made our stay memorable.

Thank you all at the Tower Hotel

My stay was very nice and comfortable. I particularly liked the bar and there staff. One man in particular was very helpful and professional. He s name was Ricky. We turned up at the bar quite late and wanted to order food but unfortunately we were too late to order but Ricky kindly offered us nibbles such as nuts and crisps which was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Very kind and warning staff. Thank you all at Tower Hill hotel.

One of the best place to stay in Vancouver. There are total two wings namely north wing and south wing. Staff were quite cooperative. One thing i missed there was the access to the top floor. Because this is the floor where a person can the the whole city but unfortunately you even ca t go to the other floor rather than yours. Over prices.

Sunday night stay, hotel was comfortable and breakfast very good. Staff helpful and avialable. Only two issues. 1. Air conditioning did not work and room was a little too hot. 2. Very noisy guests in next room, probably made worse by the two rooms having a connecting door. A quick to reception and the problem was sorted. I can see how adjoining rooms could be useful but not is there is a noisy party in one of them. We will definitely stay again, the location and views are superb. It's easy to get about as the District and Circle line is a 10 minute walk away.

Lovely hotel, on the side of the Thames and to the side youth have docks to Mooch around. If you are travelling with a disabled person you need to go round to the side entrance there addres aldi disabled parking outside the hidden. Once you are in the room, great view and there is a button inside the thin that opens the door automatically.

Very nice hotel with high standard and well equipped rooms. A view from the window of a hotel room is wonderful. For breakfast you pick up what you want, all is fine and good quality. In restaurant you can find a place with a view on marina.

Wanted to knock it a star because the room wasn't ready when we needed it. But our stay was otherwise amazing with a great view of the Tower Bridge. Likewise, the food fair on the street below was great and location to and from the tubes was a godsend.

Great hotel in a superb location.

Great hotel in a superb location.
Excellent rooms, with comfortable beds. Bathrooms could be updated, but that's a minor problem. Bar prices are reasonable and happy hour between 18:00 and 19:00 is a bonus. The buffet breakfast is varied and plentiful.

Would definitely stay here again

The Tower Hotel is in a great location, right next to Tower Bridge and The Tower of London. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby, but it is a five to ten minute walk to the nearest tube station. The rooms are spacious but the hotel is quite dated. Staff were friendly and helpful, but both check in and breakfast service could do with better organisation. A good hotel but definitely room for improvement.

On our 1st trip to London, we spent 3 nites @The Tower Hotel which has Specular views of The Tower Bridge & the Thames, not to mention the very modern Skyline across the River. Our friend had a Conference there, so we saw the sights, then met up for Dinner. Rooms were spacious, clean & staff were friendly, professional & helpful! 'Shout out' to Terry of Concierge Staff, who helped us find our way to Oxford St, Harrods & Buckingham Palace to see the changing of the guards! Wonderful Marina view @ Breakfast buffet which was included in our stay. The Tower Hotel is a beautiful London hotel, so glad we got to stay there!

Attended a work event. The room was clean and well ventilated. The selection of tea and coffee was very good. All pastries, cakes, biscuits, fruit and yogurts were well received and throughly enjoyed. Lunch provided was tasty and varied, so a good selection for everyone. A very good venue for corporate events.
