Be careful. Booked a flight for my daughter to come home from university and the prices seemed very good at first. However 2 days after receiving confirmation I got a email to say that I had to call because the return flight could not be booked. After a week of calling and leaving messages with no return calls I finally got someone just to be brushed off like it was my fault without even the faintest hint of an apology and told to just go back online and rebook which ended up costing me $200 more and at a time that was nowhere near the original flight. When I called back they simply said "there's nothing we can do goodbye".
Will never use again.
I had been using Flight network for about 10 years now with no problem until about a year ago.
Now when I book flights with them, it seems like there is so much fine print, like having to pay for 1pc of luggage at the airport even though I was going out of my way to find a way to make it included. I have also found their staff to be extremely rude these days. Now, I learned the hard way that I have no control over my bookings and they have completely taken their lines off the hook.
I'm also concerned that they haven't updated their website in about a decade, and there are clear coding errors on the website. Book direct or with a local travel agent!
FlightNetwork charged me for seat selection, but I didn't select a seat. They refuse to refund the extra charge. They even sent me a confirmation email that says "any" for my seat, and right below it shows that I was charged $64 for selecting my seat. Even with this obvious proof of their mistake, they refused to refund me. I have this email as well, I just need to figure out how to post them here to show everyone they stole $64 from me plain and simple. Terrible business ethics!!!
This used to be an excellent website/agency. I have used it for over 8 years to conveniently book cheaper flights. The latest experience was horrid. I tried to book different flight combinations on different browsers and computers and whenever I pressed "complete booking" button - it wouldn't go anywhere. It got really frustrating. I called customer service twice and tried to book those flights online but FlightNetwork customer service gave me prices $400cad higher than on the website. I asked the customer service agent to stay online while I refresh the search and went through the booking again. Same thing happened. All CS could muster was to check my internet connection and that she couldn't do anything. 5 minutes later I am on a different competitor website booking that flight no problem for $100 cheaper than FlightNetwork.. Wasted 2 hours on this nightmare. Never coming back!

To say Flight Network is an ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE company to have to deal with would be an insult to absolutely terrible companies out there! They are somewhat helpful right up to the time you pay them then you don t exist to them after that. Customer service is a joke every time I call it s an absurd wait to talk with someone. Most recent call I was told by automated voice estimated wait time is 10 minutes, 86 minutes later someone came on to tell me basically they could do nothing to help me. It was up to the airline, I wanted a refund on the insurance we purchased since in 7 months nothing has happened with it and again we can t help you with that.

I only wish that they were able to book a flight that I had found that was cheaper than their quote and thus would've bought the ticket through FN. But all in all, I intend on using them again for my trip to Honolulu in December.

BE VERY CAREFUL BOOKING ON THEIR WEBSITE!
There are many hidden charges you have to manually opt out. BUT the worst is seat selection, it offer you a seat map and most people will automatically click on the seat. Then the section is collapsed and covered up, only showing a message "Thank you. Your seats have been selected.". However there is an ADDED "SEAT SELECTION FEE" being added and it is NOT SHOWING under "Support Package" but a very fine print and you have to OPEN UP under the Passenger section then the THIRD down arrow (after taxes and fee) to see.
The website is also design after you have entered the credit card information and a big "COMPLETE YOUR BOOKING" at the very bottom but NOT SHOWING THE AMOUNT being charge unless you scroll ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP again. (Even with that, those additional fee, like seat selection, are still hidden from view)
There is NO FINAL CONFIRMATION page like other website let you review everything you selected, once you click the big green button, that's it.
AGAIN, BE VERY CAREFUL TRIPLE CHECK EVERY SINGLE EXPENDABLE BUTTON ON THE SCREEN. SOME FEES ARE BEING ADDED AND HIDDEN.
I think the website is by design to hide the extra fee to make an extra buck, which I think it is kind of dishonest.
Oh, BTW the selection fee has a VERY fine print saying "We will share your seating requests with the airlines but cannot guarantee your request will be honored." Which may also explain why after you pay them the fee, you still CANNOT SELECT A SEAT on Air Canada website for example. IT IS A SCAM! So basically they are charging you EXTRA FOR NOTHING. No added value at all.

To be fair, remember, you are dealing with the COMPANY and not individual agents. Since I get my desired outcome, I raised back to 2-stars. (or should I?)

1. She never mention there was a charge from AC for reserving seats (on top of the seat select fee) before making the selection for me
2. Then she claims AC already charged $20 per seat and cannot back out. But I quickly point out that's a lie, because on that flight preferred seat was $20, but the seat she assigned was NOT preferred seat.
Once I pointed out AC only charge $20 for preferred seat and the one she assigned wasn't. Her tone changed... so figure.

Totally unhelpful staff, call center is a joke. I was running late to catch my international flight due to a family Emergency. Decide to contact them to make changes in my ticket three hours before departure time as mention on their online booking ticket. Rep on phone refused to do anything saying he can't get hold of airlines. My one way ticket was waste just because of Flight network. On top of that I was refused to get refund not only whole amount but taxes as well.

You can cancel for any reason if:
a) You purchased your Trip Cancellation Protection policy within 48 hours of booking your
trip/travel or before any cancellation penalties or fees were applicable and,
b) You contact FlightNetwork to cancel your trip/travel two weeks (14 days) or more before the
departure date that appears on your ticket.
In this case, FlightNetwork will pay 50% of the covered amount.
NB: both A and B conditions must be met to qualify under Cancel for any reason

I booked a flight through Flight network/Google and accidentally picked the wrong date. I immediately called to correct my mistake. They told me it was a $50 fee. I asked to speak to a manager and they told me they would call me back within 6-8 hours. I never received a phone call. When I called them back they then said my flight was no longer refundable or changeable.
The representative was also very impolite and combative.
No one is responding to my emails no one is talking calls at the no s provided. Horrible experience.

All the agents say different things and they just follow scripts and notes which is written in their system for each booking.
For eg for my 1 booking he charged $75/ticket as an administrative fee and on other booking charged me for $50 per passenger as there were 6passengers in that booking and no one was ready to resolve anything. Infact they say other agent did a mistake.
Not even a single time I have got to speak with their supervisor or manager all they say is we dont have anyone incharge right now. I Tried like 1000times but never ever got hold of anyone.

I booked a long haul vacation with FlightNetwork. It was over 27 hours of one-way trip that has 3 flight legs. I booked a ticket for 2 people for the vacation and needless to say, FlightNetwork messed it up. They booked two separate tickets for me and my wife! This means that by default we got assigned to seats are that are no where close to each other. We called them sevaral times and they did not help us get a seat together unless we pay extra for that! It seems like they were asking us to pay to cover their incompetence! There where several vacant seats available when we tried to check in online, but we couldn't reassign any of it. Unfortunately, we are travelling in separate seats now! This will be the last time I'm booking with FlightNetwork.

I originally had a flight booked to fly to Miami from Toronto in March, when COVID-19 was first made public in the news. I called to cancel the flight promptly. Unfortunately, at that time they were not offering refunds or anything other than flight credit because of the limited info they had. I was first charged $100 for the cancellation fee and that I was required to use the credit by December 31, 2020. Since I was travelling in a group, a friend of mine spoke to the customer service manager who stated the fee should be $50. E-mailed back and reportedly received the refund.
In April, as airlines received more information and enforced new guidelines regarding the pandemic and refunds, I e-mailed Flight Network's customer service once again to inquire about receiving a refund due to the pandemic. They stated they are not able to provide a refund and that they are not able to extend the deadline in which I can use the credit.
After months of trying to call, being put on hold for 1-2 hours minimum only for the call to be dropped and hung up on multiple times, I was going to just lose the $380 credit and accept the loss. Then I thought to use the credit and just book a flight within Canada, seeing it is safer than travelling to the States and having to quarantine twice. I called and a rep named "Zuber" reassured me that I do in fact actually have the credit and can use it to re-book, but will have to do it over the phone. Since I did not have the exact flight date in mind, I had to call back. A few days later, I called back and spoke with "Earemjeet" after being transferred twice and waiting 1 hour. He asked me which date and flight I was looking to use for credit and put me on hold several times just to find the same booking I was looking for. Finally, he said he was able to book the flight for me after I paid a $45 handling fee. I questioned this since I was wrongly charged from the cancellation fee and he was very defensive. He said he would e-mail me the payment link by the end of the day. I wanted a confirmation that the booking was processed right away since it is so difficult to get them on the phone, so he sent me the payment link and I paid. Then he says there is a "currency exchange fee" since I had booked a flight to Miami initially... but paid in Canadian. This did not make any sense at all. He then changed his answer and stated it was the "airline fee". After trying to ask for more information regarding the fee, he kept stating "it is an airline fee what else do you want"? He was very rude and condescending. I really hope their company does record all phone calls because this was THE ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have experienced ever in my entire life. At one point he was mocking me when I simply had asked to receive an invoice. He even said he was really trying his best to help me and complained that he has been on the phone with me for over 1 hour trying to help me...... the audacity. What he was doing was THE BARE MINIMUM. Never felt so disrespected.
Paid the fees instead of losing the total $380. Who knows if I'll even be able to fly next month but I am over this company. I never wish the worst on anyone but I honestly hope they go out of business. They deserve to, for the sake of employees and everyone. Please go out of business.
Not really happy with this company. They canceled my reservation and said it was due to credit issues. I called my credit card company and they said an attempt wasn t even made. Not impressed.
Worst experience ever! Customer service is based overseas and there is zero accountability. My credit card was charged by Flight Network for a flight to Rio with travel insurance. I received an email from Flight Network stating that my credit card had been declined but moments later I received a receipt for my purchase of travel insurance. I checked with my bank and they informed me that the full amount for the flight and insurance has been taken out of my account by Flight Network! My bank tried to call Flight Network to sort this out however FN said they could only have a supervisor phone me. No one phoned, I haven't spoken to a supervisor, even after calling multiple times. They took my money and I'm left with no flight, no money, and cancellation insurance for a flight I do not have.

After booking flights through this horrible company I elected to have insurance for my flights because I have a injury that can cause me to go home at any time but when I rung to discuss why it says it wasn t added this I was told there s no insurance and they won t help me what so ever, once I asked to speak to a supervisor they refused and told me it s not possible? Some of the worst customer service I ve had and now I m out of pocket $1000 s because this company can t do there jobs properly. Will be filling a official complaint with whatever department overlooks these things unless something can be sorted.
Last night, the total sum of my airline ticket charged to my credit card included a $40 trip Cancellation Insurance which I had DECLINED!! When I phoned customer service, a refund was IMMEDIATELY processed back to my card which should hit my account within 72 hours. I was emailed confirmation of the cancellation of this charge within 6 minutes of my phone call. I am VERY SATISFIED with the customer service.

I had booked a round trip flight with Flight Network but due to COVID, the airline had cancelled all return flights to my destination. Flight Network did not give me ANY updates after my flight was rescheduled 3 times. They did not return any of my emails until 2+ weeks after. I spent a total of over 6 hours on hold only to reach several unhelpful customer service representatives that could not care less about providing a solution. There is no record of my flight online, everything must be done over the phone with automated messages informing customers of inaccurate call wait times. Instead of refunding me for my ticket that they could not provide for me, they gave me 1 month to rebook a ticket for a flight within the next year (March 2021). I hope Flight Network understands how unreasonable this policy is.. nobody can plan a trip within the next year in the middle of a pandemic.
Please, please, please do yourself a favour and book directly from the airline. I cannot stress enough how unprofessional this company is.

Worse it ever been. I had a credit with Westley because of a flight cancelation last year and needed to rebook. Queues are 3-4 hours when you call. When you finally get through to someone you get transferred and back in queue or the line disconnects. When I finally got through to someone that would help me, my file was "dormant" and they had to put in a request to get it back in the system and that takes 24 hrs so you have to call back. If you don't call back or get through within 3 days the file goes dormant again. When I finally got all I needed lined up, I was charged extra for the difference in flight, yet the new flights are cheaper. When I questioned why the charge I was told that the base fee and taxes are separate and it a difference in taxes which is also incorrect because the taxes on the new flight are also lower, you can see it in the breakdown but I didn't argue it too long seeing as if we "accidentally" got disconnected again it would be a nightmare to get back through. And then there's another standard $45 rebooking fee that flightnetwork charges. I was completely unimpressed and exhausted and will never use their services again. I used to like them but I think they got bought out and they're no good anymore!

I tried to call Expedia and explain there s a glitch with their website and google flights. They failed to acknowledge the booking and didn t further assist us with trying to locate the flight Google Flights was showing. Thanks to Flight Network I paid $1300 for my flight opposed to $5000

After a few days struggling with a different online travel agency. I googled best sites to book flights and the Flight Network was among them, after reading it was a Canadian site I feel even better about it. I gave it a try and really was different from the one I tried before. So easy, fast and smooth. I have cero complaints and I'm fully satisfied. I strongly recommend it.
honestly will never book with flight network again. I tried to change my flight and they wanted to charge me a 250$ fee. This is not the change in flight cost - this is an additional fee. When I asked what the fee was they stated it was the airlines fee. I called the airline and they said they do not charge for a change in flight. Unfortunately the airline couldn't change the flight because I booked it on flight network and flight network wanted to charge me for ridiculous fees the were not real. Bad experience
I have been using Flight Network for a few years now, ever since a friend told me about it. I have had no problems booking my flights through them. As with any purchase one has to go through the checkout process carefully to avoid extra charges but I would think that is a given. My plans do not usually change and I have travel insurance through my Credit Card so that eliminates the need for more. I have been very satisfied with my experience with Flight Network.

Useless company. Take hours to change the dates and almost half of your money siphoned off on the name of penalty . Better to buy from airlines
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - AVOID AT ALL COSTS - READ THE FINE PRINT | Trust other reviewers with their experiences. This company will not be in business long. Their policies and customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. This is cliche, but it all sounded too good to be true, and I should have gone with my gut. If you love additional charges then this is the company for you. All others stay away!

Have used Flight-network for several years now. Have been very satisfied with the service I received . Excellent job, easy to use website.
DON'T EVEN BOOK WITH THESE GUYS. They took my money and said i had a credit to re-book a flight. they will not actually answer my call or help me rebook. They send you from one line to the other. All their "customer service staff" is based in India and just dodge and deflect. Don't ever book with these guys.
