My husband and I were helped by salesman Nick Rerakis who we found to be very friendly and extremely helpful. He explained in detail all the features on the cars we were initially interested in without being pushy and, when we finally settled on the CX-3, he gave us a good deal. On the day of pick up last week Nick sat in the car with me and showed me all the controls and explained each feature as he was doing this. He was very thorough and even followed up with a phone call the day after to ask if I had any problems or questions about the car. Fantastic service Nick and thankyou again.

I got treated GENUINELY with respect. I dealt with Craig Parker. Such a nice person to deal with. He was a 'non car salesman' all the way. He wasn't trying to sell me a car, he was trying to make me happy. He advised me on what I needed and things that I could do without. A very trustworthy person to deal with. I know where we are getting my wife's next car. Craig, I cannot thank you enough for you help.

I had bought my daughter a car in March of 2018. The car is very good, however, the wipers were of poor quality from the beginning and did not provide a clear vision when it would rain. I had called up Mazda at the time and they offered to change it for free, which they did. The wipers then worked well until it started to rain prior to christmas this year. I called Mazda again and the lady had nicely told me to bring it in and see what can be done. However, when I got there the man that served me was being stubborn and said they could not do anything about it until I had showed him the receipt of the previous occasions when they had changed them. I told him that we had changed it about 7 months ago, he started making excuses saying that wipers should be changed every 4-5 months due to the damages to the rubber from the changes in the weather. I would have been happy to pay but out of principle they should have offered to change it. I had bought my other daughter a Honda in 2007 and had not needed to change the wipers for another three years, and they are still good until now. I am more than happy to pay for new wipers but i was not happy with the way i was served that day and the amount of excuses i was given. I will not be purchasing any further cars from Mazda as they are more concerned in profit than the safety of my daughter when she is driving the car.

When confronted them they had no answer then said manager will call back which never happened. Very disappointed and discrimination . Be careful when you are spending your life worth savings on the car and got treated differently as you are from different nationality. Never going back

I came in a week ago to look through the showroom and was blown away by one of your salesmen .. Pino Scamporlino. There is no way I would've purchased the car if it wasn't for him. He was fantastic at the time and his service since then has been excellent. If I am ever in the market for a car again I wont bother going anywhere else .. Pino is my guy.

I came to your place 2 weeks back for CX9 and Richard from sales team was fantastic with his service. After reviewing other 7 seaters in the market, I thought CX9 is good choice therefore I text Richard today for a test drive and he replied that he got day off. I have highly appreciated that he spent his personal time to reply my messages. He asked me to call sales team to book an appointment.

I called your sales number at 10:22 am and waited for 15 minutes for someone to answer my call. Finally the reception has attended my call so I informed about the test drive CX9. She said I can come today. I asked for an appointment etc and she said it s not required. She has informed that they may busy after 12 so have to wait. I said that s fine.

I reached to your place today at ~12:10 and have registered my name with the receptionist about CX9 test drive. She asked me to wait until someone is available.

I waited 20, 30, 50 minutes and almost 2 hours for sales team. I can see sales members are busy but didn t follow their waiting list. The receptionist was busy in looking her phone and didn t bother go and speak to sales team about waiting list. I reminded her 3-4 times and she continued to apologise about the delay.

Finally she was able to get sales person Peter. I told him that I am here for a test drive and he said he hasn t got demo CX9 sports model for test drive today. I asked for other CX9 model and he said he has to speak to manager. Then he gone inside one room and just came out. I was looking at him and he just gone inside the room, check key cupboard and came out. He didn t bother to speak to his manager. He came out and informed me come other time with an appointment.

I said I called this morning and asked for an appointment but your receptionist didn t book it. Peter didn t show his interest in business at all even after all these hazels. What a pathetic and poor customer service and there is no communication within your internal teams. I am very disappointed with your service today that I wasted my 3 hours because of you Essendon Mazda. But please look into this matter so other customer don t waster their valued time. GOOD LUCK..!!

Will not buy a car from here. I came in last weeke...

Will not buy a car from here. I came in last weekend to see + feel the differences between the Mazda 3 and cx-3 with the intention of purchasing after I'd decided between the two. Last week, test drove the CX-3 however was told I wasn't able to test the 3 (it was only 2pm - so not sure why). So booked in to test drive it the weekend after. I left work early on Friday, excited to make it there by 4.30pm. Only to arrive to have the same "Salesman" who booked in the drive tell me that he had forgotten to book it in and the car wasn't ready. After being shown around to other Mazdas I re-choose the one I'd like to test (same one I'd chosen the week prior), only to be told that there were none available to test, but I could test a different style (sedan vs hatch).
I don't understand the point in testing a car I dont intend to buy.
I left, stating I would go to another Mazda dealer with nil apologies or regrets from the "Salesman". You have just lost a guaranteed $25k as I will definitely be buying my car elsewhere.

I recently came to see mazda with my car key not working to unlock the vehicle and most importantly; my steering shaking while applying brakes on the highway. They neither fix the steering nor changed the battery of my key. While i was about to pay the bill; they said the vehicle is fine and i havent addressed the key issues before though i did twice. This had happen to me so many times here and seriously disappointed this time as my steering control has gone worst day by day and takes me so long to unlock my vehicle. I regret i came to essendon mazda. This has been a serious issues on me as i mostly travel on highways. They dont even have a facility of giving hire car at all for customers who come to service their vehicle frequently. Thanks for your time and effort but never going to be back again

Can only give rave reviews to the Mazda Service side of the dealership and to the Mazda car company itself. Had major transmission issues on a car a few months out of warranty and Mazda did the honourable thing and fixed it. Not only that, I was given a very nice loan car to drive in the meantime. Special mention to Nathan who was reassuring and easy to communicate with. Well done Mazda and hopefully it s smooth sailing in the Mazda 2 from now on.

The team were extremely friendly and helpful especially Nick Rerakis.
Nick was so patience and understanding with our situation and had a great balance of regular contact, but not too full on (plus he gave us a great deal).
I wouldn't normally take the time to post feedback on sites, but Nick deserves to have his name out there as a great salesman and decent guy.

I had Pino as my car dealer and he was awesome. Had a few different cars/deals on the go and after coming to a stalemate with 2 other dealers trying to get the price I want, Pino gave me a courtesy call back after about a week to see where I was at and I told him my situation and price that I would be happy with. I left it with him for 10 mins and he called me back and made the deal. Simple as that..Everybody knows car dealerships make money, but sometimes dropping that extra thousand sells them the car. Eventually they make it up in other ways, trade ins, bonuses other clients etc..... I would highly recommend going to see Pino for your next Mazda. If he's still there in a few years I would be more than happy to give him first crack at my next trade in/new car. Might just save myself a whole lot of running around. Car also arrived 3 weeks early,another bonus... Thank you Essendon Mazda/Pino, love my new Mazda 3 sedan.

Nick Reskakis is a waste of space. Took a car with him for a test drive but he didn t bother showing off any of the features of the car.
When the time came to close the deal he flat out refused to negotiate, and in the end he made no counter offers at all! Keep your Mazdas, Nick! We re going to another dealer

Me and my mother went down today to buy her a new car at Essendon fields Mazda, we walked around for about 40 minutes looking at cars. Not once did we have a sales person come up to us and ask if we needed any assistance.

I walked past a few sales rep who where enjoying smoking and didn't even acknowledge us.

Very disappointed and we will definitely not be going back.

In future it doesn't hurt to greet customers and see if they need any help.

Customer service is absolutely terrible. I went in with my paraplegic father and we stood at the (empty) reception desk for 20 minutes with staff occasionally walking around us and/or avoiding eye contact. We weren't the only ones, as two other people (together) also waited a very long time to be acknowledged in any sort of way. Bring a book or your phone so you can have something to do while you wait.

They do do fleet rates for some airline staff which is nice.

Booked a service online over three weeks ago on Saturday 8:00-9:45am, only just got a call now, one day prior to my appointment telling me they can't do the 'express service' on Saturday, I will have to wait till 12pm. Understandably the price is something salespeople don't like to provide over the phone, as sales always prefer face to face negotiation. I was brutally honest that I'm calling all the Mazda dealerships. Could NOT BELIEVE that upon hearing this, the sales guy Nick actually HUNG UP on me. I would highly recommend Peter Maroudas at Essendon Mazda. He was so professional and no request was to hard for him when purchasing my new CX-5. He definately made buying a new car so easy and exciting! I was initially so scared spending so much money on buying a car but Peter made it a breeze by breaking it all down and talking me through the costs. He took extra time to show me how everything in the car worked and even organised special rims and black number plates because he knew the look I wanted for my car. The only reason why i am giving these guys a 1 STAR is because i cant give them anything less.

In 2015 i purchased a brand new Mazda3 NEO from ESSENDON MAZDA. To cut a very long story short, i have had computer issues with the vehicle from day 1. I have also video'd these occurrences as for some reason every time i have taken it back to essendon mazda they have told me nothing is wrong with the car. Every service i have they still tell me nothing is wrong with it. I ended up taking it to a different dealership which yet again costed me MORE money, although the car is still in warranty. Earlier this year i was about to purchase a cx5 and trade my Mazda 3 in because i am to believe the car is simply a lemon, Thankfully i didnt because by the way your company and dealerships have treated me is absolutely disgusting. I work in a customer service environment and i would never treat my customers this poorly I can confidently say I will NEVER purhcase another mazda again. The manager at Essendon Mazda, Brad, would have to be the most rudest and unpleasant man to deal with. When i rang him with my concerns he was extremely reluctant for me to bring my car it YET AGAIN for them to have a look at it. I also advised brad that my dad was going to be present with me and Brad abruptly interrupted me and 'strongly' advised me not to have anybody else present with me because 'i have never dealt with him personally' also, told me that he would only inspect my vehicle if on the day it was beeping and flashing, I am disgusted by this remark, because if my car is beeping and flashing at all throughout any given day, clearly there is an issue. My Father and i found this extremely rude and uncalled for. I am sure and can confidently say if Brad or anybody had a daughter or a son for that matter with car issues he himself would be present for that inspection. The second my vehicle is out of finance i will be trading it in and NEVER EVER be purchasing another one. I also will make it very clear to my peers and family the kind of service i have received in regards to these issues. I cant even begin to tell you the fear i have with getting into my car, i do not feel safe driving my mazda 3.

Great staff and facilities. Craig was really helpful and professional. Nice wait area for you to wait while car is being serviced. Only downside for Mazda is higher servicing costs, otherwise brilliant in every other way! Would definitely go back... highly recommended!

I had been looking for a car for the past 4 weeks, going from dealer to dealer looking and test driving various vehicles. Having worked as a Sales Manager for many years i was not looking forward to the 'car salesmen' spiels and anecdotes which i experienced quite a few times. Then there was Jai Patel - collected and always professional. No desperate catch phrases or attempts to close a sale here. He understood my needs, gave me a great deal on new car and also trade in. I have visited the Essendon Mazda three times to inquire about a Mazda CX 5 including today, unfortunately not a single sales person tried to approach or talk to my family and I. We were there for a reasonable amount of time and not a single employee showed any interest in wanting to assist us or inquire about our presence. We are unsure if the employees are discriminating as an employee walked right pass us and assisted a Caucasian family and went and sat down after helping them, whilst making eye contact with us, yet making no effort to assist us at all (talking specifically about the blonde lady behind the counter). Despite the fact that she was just sitting behind a desk and doing nothing.
We were there to inquire about a legitimate purchase but after this experience, I'm not going to dedicate my time or finances towards this type of pathetic service. Honestly would not recommend to anyone, especially anyone from an ethnic background as you would not be served. I would recommend management to look into improving training staff towards a more customer oriented focus knowing that your located in a really competitive location. Due to this I have now directed my focus towards one of your competitors as they know the true meaning of customer service.
