If I could put zero stars I would. My bill was 100 every month, entrust told me it would be less, and it ended up being almost 200. I moved a couple months later and my bill was 300 almost every month considering I use less than when I was at my old apartment. Don t trust this company. I was not home but my wife felt forced to go with this company,( she deals with the bills as I m always at work). Once again don t go with this company. They will not help at all.

This company is Trouble.. We signed the contract for my business. First month got a whole different bill than the sample bill copy I had. I discussed that with the company and they said sorry for giving you the wrong bill. This is where I made a mistake that even knowing this bill is not matching the sample bill, I stayed with the company as the difference was very minimum. Now after 9 months, my bill has doubled. The same amount of KW used and the price is much higher. There is something called Ancillary charges that show up on my bill with different price every month. and the explanation is that is a charge that is forwarded to them and they forward it to me. Also TDU charges have double which I have already called Center Point about and they are checking that as I officially filled the complained so should know soon about why the TDU charges have double since than. This company is sucking our blood and no way to fight it as a contract is signed and I am stucked with it. Lesson learned to never buy from a rep. my bill is doubled and I pray everyday that they will get what they are screwing people out of.

The rates from this company seem good, but the service is terrible and they just say whatever. In my case i took over a business account. During the sales side i was told multiple times on the call that there would be a cutover date, then i would get the bills going forward, and the previous owner would get the ones up to the cutover. Well the previous didn't pay or had some issue and they started to threaten my power and when i talked to them they told me that no, what i had been told previously was not true and i was responsible or they would cut the power. The cut off was on a Monday, i was talking to them on Friday. i asked to have the case escalated and was assured that i could get a call back on the same day due to the cutoff being monday. They did not call back Friday, and i ended up paying because i had no choice. The "supervisor" called back on Monday, when i expressed that i was assured i would be called back friday she told me that it was within 24 hrs and that i was not assured of that. Service is terrible, would look at other providers if having power is critical to your needs.

He answered all of my questions, and when I didn't understand he was very patient and helpful in explaining in a different way so I could understand. I gave a tour start rating because there wasn't a four and a half option. Not 5 because you use foreign call centers.

Huffman Texas they charge you $123 to ship your service from TDU to your house so if your bills $196 and you pay $123 guess what you can do the math. This should be fraud miss leading customers .
The representative was kind of sketchy anyway . Then he came back by here knocked on my door again and started trying to pitch the same thing he pitched earlier to me. I told him you Already signed me up he said no I didn't I said yeah you were here earlier we sat on the porch for over an hour , oh yeah I remember now. I told him you need to go home now yeah my boss is going to pick me up . So then I drove around the neighborhood to give him a bottled water thinking he's probably getting overheated. I got in truck bout 2 mins after he left and he was nowhere to be found. we only have three streets coming in and three streets back in this Neighbor hood . Sorriest company I have ever felt with.

Two reps from your company first approached my son playing basketball in our BACKYARD inquiring if an adult was home. They then knocked on the door and were very rude and pushy and said they had to conduct a mandatory energy consumption report. After four attempts asking them to leave, they continued to be pushy and tried to make there way into our house. They were greeted by a hand gun and finally left. This was all documented on our surveillance cameras. They then started to harass my elderly poor English speaking neighbor, who also has a concealed hand gun. For the safety of your prospected clients and employees please re- train your team on door to door sales etiquette. Not only was their attitude completely unprofessional and embarrassing to your company, it is also very dangerous with the increasing number of home invasions and scammers. Trying to push your way into someones home and approaching a 11 yr old child in his own backyard is a good way to get yourself shot.

Just plain lies, was promised a lower rate and "no added fees" by the rep who came knocking on my door. I asked several times confirming no extra fees or anything like that. He promised no added fees so I signed up. First bill was 40$ higher than my last bill with TXU. Called to cancel and was told I'd have to pay$300.00 to cancel. Nothing but lies.

I own a small Restaurant. one of their salesperson mislead me to sign up a index rate. guess what my bill for last month was $5369.35 .normally my bill is around $800 to $1500. and the usage was just a little higher than July. they charged me 25 cents per KWH .I am shocked. I understand it was hot last month, and I expected to pay extra more. but not $3000 more.oh my god! Please do not sign up with a Index rate. we work so hard to make a living. unfortunately company like this ripped us off.Do not trust Entrust!!!! Day2 I chatted online this morning and scheduled a call with their account specilist . No one called again. They are afraid of talking to their customer.It's 2 weeks since I received my bill, called them many times. They just want to rip off us more. They told me to signa reversion contract which will be 6.6 cents per Kwh while the market is around 5.1 cents. I am done. I already disconnect and sign with someone else. I refuse to surrender to them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no way!!!!!

Only issue is I was told Encore charges would be $5.00 but it depends on usage. It s as low as $6.00 High as $14.00 but that was 2 bills. Maybe I misunderstood because I don t use much electricity. I m gone most days. Week at a time based on 500 K. I ve never used more

Poor customer service. Really hard to talk to a person. No bueno. Cut off our electricity would not allow us to pay over phone. Then made us wait 24 hours after payment to turn on. My dad had a heart attack and died at 70 due to this. Then they charged 30 disconnected fee and 30 reconnect fee. Took my business somewhere else.

Very terrible company. An agent trapped me to sign a 36-months contract (he told me to renew my previous contract, which was 6 months, then I thought the new contract is also a 6-months. and also his English is not very good and it sounded like he was talking about 6 months. So basically, I thought I signed a 6 months, but it was a 36 months!!!!!!!!!). I called multiple times to solve this problem, and all of them said they cannot help and I have to stuck with the 36-months! The customer service person was very rude.

I really like the weekly reviews and breakdown charts that Entrust sends every week. They help me see what days I use more energy and I am able to think back and recall why or why not my usage goes up and down. Good job Entrust.

I'm freaking out!!! My first couple of bills were about $30-$40!!!! This month I got a $245.86!!!!??? Too early for me to call have to wait for them to open but I'm literally freaking out! How does that happen!? When I spoke with a representative she advised me on how "our appliances use electricity even though we don't use them but we leave them plugged in they still use up electricity! Update March 9 2019 my bill is currently $487.83!! Oh Lord and I signed contract with these people! @Entrust Energy I only own one 50" tv a toaster, microwave,stove,blender & a Fridge though !!! New customers wait till you realize what you got your self into. Going back to Direct Energy today!

Was with this company for 10 plus years get email from different company stating they are the new power company don't like the new company so call and ask Entrust about it and was told they were forced to switch my problem is they never contacted me just switch and now if I want to go to a new company they will charge 300$ termination fee , so when Dec. Comes around i'll be without power because I will no longer have contract , Honestly feel should not be charged for switching since we weren't made aware of the change and will be without power unless we resign with the company they chose .don't tell me to call either I've done that already and even ask to speak to someone hire up and was told they tell me the same thing . Not satisfied with how y'all handle this , even if forced to could of cared about your customers opinion on the switch and gave them a choice for who they want it.

I don't feel the meter readings are accurate. This is of significant concern regarding my bills. The XY graph indicating electrical use tends to fluctuate in direct relation to the weather. This would make perfect sense if I didn't know for a fact that I've been out of town (on a number of occasions) with all electricity turned off during those exact periods of time. Somehow my electrical usage continues to rise and fall in direct relation to the prevailing weather. It appears that it's time to find another electricity provider. Perhaps I should be factoring in honesty, integrity, and reliability into my decision rather than simply Kw/hr...

One of the agents for Entrust stopped by my home.I kept telling him I am satisfied with the energy company I am with. (TXU) He kept saying nothing would change and I would still be with TXU and oncor. Ifelt like I was being pressured into accepting this. I told the agent I do not want to change anything, meaning if I want to pay the going rate at TXU , that is my right. If I don't want Entrust' services , I don't want them. I called the agent back the same day and told him I don't want their services. He told me I had until January 5, 2018 to decide if I want their services. I am not saying this is a scam ,but I do'nt want to go with another energy company at all. I'm with TXU and Oncor and I dont' want to change in any way.

The customer service is always willing to help but if you get your service shut off for any reason, know that they charge you a $35 fee for shutting it off and turning it back on without informing you of it, and you have to sign a contract to keep in at the good price rate. Other than that, prices are fair.

He was very polite, professional, helpful, concise and wonderfully informative and now I realize that Entust has a good judge of character and this is most important for me to continue to do business with your entity. I normally don t write reviews but I have to do a review to rate this company. This company by far is the worst company/electricity company that I have ever worked with, their customer service is horrible. I made payment arrangements online and my electricity was cut off. I called and they advised since I did not speak with a customer service representative to set up the payment arrangement that it was cut off and I would have to pay $60 for a disconnect in a reconnect fee. The representative who provided this information was extremely rude. I advise the representative I don t understand why there is an option to set up payment arrangements if the electricity is still going to be cut off he stated well I m not sure that s not my concern?!?! The rate is low but the additional fees they charge are ridiculous. My bill for the first month was $167 now my bills are almost $400 I don t understand why and they really can t explain or don t care to explain. They are money hungry and not willing to work with you they don t even care to hear what you have to say. You may as well go with a real electricity company provider. I really wish I would not have went with this company it s one of the worst decisions I ve made and have to stay with them since I m in a 12 month contract. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Just now a man came to my door trying to get my sign up for Entrust. Everything about him seemed fishy. First he said I had to use over 5500 kilowats a month and asked to see my last bill. When I couldn't get the last bill, he said that I automatically qualified because I have been here more than 6 months. He would not give me any information to have on hand. When I asked for time to look into the program and call someone, he started talking in circles. He just kept saying it was going to save me 40% on my DPL bill. Then he told me that he would call in my information and someone would call me to confirm and all I had to do was say yes to all of their questions. I felt very uneasy about the entire situation. If this is legit, you need to do way better at training your people. I felt like he was pushing me to sign up for his program. If a sales person cannot even leave information and a contact card, that to me is bad business.

The representative I spoke to was happy to help me and made it easy to break up my bill into 5 future payments. Very satisfied customer here. Thanks!!!

customer service is terrible and beyond incompetent, requested a move to a new place and it was a mess service wasnt connected when i moved!! my bill was 155 and i stayed out for a month so how did they come up to 155 i wasnt staying there at all for a whole month will never use them again

Pretty much said the same thing everyone here is saying, and said his company will call my Electric company and have them apply the the oncor discount and if they don't apply the discount then Entrust will take over after 30 days. And I'll save loads basically.
Sounded like a load of BS, and the reviews on there confirmed it so we cancelled asap.

In the end you ll end up paying double or triple . Their customer service is horrible. I spent 3 days just to get hold of their account specialist. I feel bad about the people who works for this company. This company has to be investigated by our government. Total rip off. Be aware of Entrust Energy. Ive been with entrust several years.They transferred my account to another company without notice!!! They basically gave my information to another company without my consent. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!

.Dont trust entrust!!! ....I had 2 open accounts. One account was cancelled without my consent, then charged my bank account for the cancellation. I called entrust and no one was able to help me. And without my consent reopened the 2nd account, so now they are linked together. They said they cant cancel the 2nd account. If i already paid for the cancelation why do i have 2 accounts again?!?!?! Managers couldnt do anything. If you canceled it on me and charged me then leave the 2nd account closed I dont need it now!!
