Time for renewal, beware I signed up with rep on phone, with help of door rep, once doc received not exactly the plan described. Now locked into it. They didn't incl the TDC as they said in the "deal".Im giving two stars only because another mess happened , long story, and the rep was helpful although could not do anything about rate. So disappointed in Texas ***NOTE: Entrust has reached out to me, not sure what department it is as I have sent email to the contact us on website as well as talked to the 800 phone rep. May be a diff social media dept? Not sure. Update: Entrust agent Jubelsky reached out again after reviewing my complaint last week and recontacted and assisted in reducing my rate to incl the TDC as previously promised. Thank you Entrust for reaching out and helping in this situation.2nd update the review of the contract is still high, the amount she 'helped' me with is for over 2k kw. I never use over 2K.
My bill was extremely high for June 9 through June 13. We were in another state during that time period. That is ridiculous!!!
I am going to check into Energy Ogre to see if I can get better rates. A Fixed income does not allow for such outrageous prices.
I really enjoy this service but can't understand why the amounts you send me don't match my bill .I'm 121kws higher than the amounts you sent me through the month. Go figure????
in 13 years i have never had a bill so high $1,980.00 I call and as expected bla bla bla and your stuck with a higher price!! they lie to you to get you to sign that contract. Any ways who reads it. and even if you do, you wont be able to understand what its saying so your screwed no matter what!!
The bill steadily raised. Costomer service was no help. The man that enrolled us told us that there was no termination fee. He lied. 300$. Watch out for house to house people. DONT DO IT!!! I usually don't, but he said their was no contract. All lies!!!
Once electric companies get into the news that claim lower rates and you switch and you Bill doubles .scammers do not entrust corrupt electric companies
Terrible company and terrible service. Entrust Energy sold our account to another company without any notification to us!!! Until yesterday we received another company's email that we own them money and we need to pay past due fees (we thought it was a scam because we never signed anything with it), and I called Entrust, then I was told that Entrust Energy sold us to that company 2 months ago!!! They said they notified us, but we chose paperless method and we never received any letters, and I checked all email records, NOTHING!!!
Someone just came knocking at my door, saying that my electric would be $78.00 dollars if I switch. I have a 4 bedroom home. I had to come read some on the reviews, and I'm glad I did. No thanks!
The gentleman I spoke to was very pleasant and helpful with this virus thing I'm very short on money and he helped me figure things out and thank you for the few extra days to pay my bill I really appreciate it and once again thank you

Am a small business owner , and was approached by one of their Reps on Monday January 23, 2017 claiming I had a contract with them , was Rude , Making treats and not even showing a badge , a Business card nor less a uniform , I never signed or was aware of such contract, the sales Rep talk to one of my employees and had him sign an agreement without my authorization , now the company claims after adding notes and titles by hand to the pre-filled contract ,that such contract should be honored , can someone in the company please look in to these incidents , I am sure am not the only one going thru this , is unprofessional and unethical to force me to honor something I never agree or signed to , I have multiple conversations with the state consumers Rep , and was advised to send all the documents for review , BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY>>>>>>>>>

Overall I am happy with Entrust Energy. I gave four stars because of the letter I received from Entrust about them transferring me to a new electric company and if we are in a contract and we decide to go with another because we are not happy with the one they are switching us to, we should be be obligated to pay early termination fee. I think we should have a choice to whom we go to if the company is doing the switching and if you are still in contract and not be required to pay a early termination fee if we go with a different company. Now you have no choice but to transfer to the new energy company if you do not want to pay the early termination fee.
This is the best light company.to go with I love Entrust Energy. The lowest in two year contract

They have hidden fees that have to be paid to Centerpoint on top of the amount owed to entrust. Expect to pay at least $75 in hidden fees.
Customer Service at Entrust Energy is amazing they are professional and willing to help and demonstrate that they care. I have never had a problem with their service. They have continually provided me with options to make it easier for me to know about my account. Paperless billing and a user friendly Entrust Energy website.

A complete scam! After being promised all these good things of a lower bill and they would cover the cancellation bill from my previous company they refuse go correct the problem that their rep. Lied to me. I was on hold for over an hour being passed to one rep to another about the situation and nothing was resolved! I was told oh well basically. If you are thinking of switching don't switch to this company they are a scam and full of lies! 1 week of service was $90 and they refuse to pay for my cancellation from my other company after their rep promised they would cover the cost. If you want to switch go with Reliant. I should have never switched from them but with all this they are willing go waive my exsisting cancellation and lower my rate but to also credit my account to cancel with Entrust! That is what you call great customer service. Entrust is full of lies!
Entrust has been a great company until COVID-19 hit us at my business. More than half of my salon was lost and so i was forced to close one section of my salon. I have asked Entrust to close one of my accounts because of my loss, and they refuse to close account. Yes i have a contract, but they D0 NOT take Covid -19 loss in consideration. I have 3 accounts and one section has been closed. What do i do now.... keep paying a bill that does not exist anymore. Thanks Entrust for helping me SMH.
Too bad I can t give a 0 stars . Terrible customer service!!!! I do not recommend to anyone. Especially with everything with Covid-19. They just don t help customers resolve issues , oh and they harassed with the calls . Used to pay 170 - 200 average before them ... now it s 290-310 with them
These people switched us from our trusted TXU with whom we ve been happy customers with since 1994 without my written or verbal permission. Didn t know we had been switched till I received a bill in the mail for over $300. With TXU, we stayed below $200 despite the hot Texas summers. Contacted Entrust whom then sent me a bill for over $600 about a week later stating there s a $300 early cancellation fee. I m am now waiting for them to provide me with proof of my social security number & hand written signature showing where I ever authorized them to switch me over. They never spoke to me & I never authorized Entrust to ever switch me over so I know they will NOT be able to provide me with any of the info I ve requested. Very sneaky & piss poor job ethics! TXU was more than happy to switch me back & at an even lower rate than I was paying before the unauthorized switch to Entrust.
Terrible customer service. I called in to cancel services because my wife and I were moving states and Entrust continued to charge me. I sent multiple emails with proof of state changes with the new utility company and made multiple calls to resolve my payment. They refused to refund the 2 weeks we were wrongfully charged because I didn't confirm my move. Apparently a new bill from a utility company with the currently date and address isn't enough confirmation. Afterwards they forwarded the "debt" I owed to a debt collection agency, which will now count against my credit. I just paid the remaining balance to get rid of the thorn in my side. Entrust will nickel and dime you if you cancel your contract and move states. They don't bug you or say anything if you pay on time every month. But as soon as I go through the proper steps to cancel my services due to my wife and I moving, I get charged for energy I didn't even use because they failed to turn off my services when I told them and provide proof of new residency. This company is a joke. I paid on time every month, no questions asked. Even though they have a butt load of hidden fees. I still paid because I read the fine print and understood. But as soon as I move and it's an inconvenience for them, they don't work with me and wrongfully charge me. Terrible business. After a 25 phone conversation, I still had to pay so it wouldn't continue to go against my credit.
Renewed my contract and have been very happy with Entrust.
No longer operating. Bought out by direct power. So far so good! Let y'all know if things change.

I recently switched to Entrust Energy so I'm still a new customer but I can honestly say in just my 2 months of being with them my electric bill has dropped tremendously!!
I am consistently stunned by the recent and significant rise in my energy bill with NO significant change in power usage. 2.50 in charges when the reported power usage was 5 kWh is impossible to justify.
The young man that resolve and find a solution did a great job as a customer service representative on the electricity bill.would recommend him for his professionalism and concern of the matter. Thanks to him for a great job!

I have noticed that my bill is higher in a smaller apartment then it was in a 2 bedroom now it runs 145.00 a month in this little apt my 2 bedroom would run 80.00 I have been with you for 8 yrs now but I am thinking looking for something a little better

Above and beyond. This is a great company. Great pricing never a surprise bill. Customer Service is actually service. I met a sales rep on the train , such professionalism, he talked about Entrust like family. He even took the time to explain how to maximize my service for free. I'm never switching.
By far the worst company! Got charged twice in one month. Emailed to see what was going on, on the 10th of January. No response. Called on the 22nd, sat on hold for over 20 minutes. Was told that I would receive a phone call in 30 minutes after they put in an inquiry with a resolution. Never received a phone call. Called on the 27th, was told there would be a resolution and that they would call back. They called at a time I couldn t answer the phone even though I gave them the correct time to call. Left a voicemail saying Hello good afternoon my name is ______ I'm calling from interest energy ____ regards to your account and we're trying to reach you to ____ ____ resolution for _____ ___ _ resolution on your account me __ there if you are able to reach out to either Gary tomorrow we're going to be more than glad to assist you once again thank you for choosing answers energy I was to reach electric provider have a nice afternoon bye-bye Then I called this morning and the representative and the supervisor continually repeated the same thing. Anyone who has 3 different amounts due in one month would be pissed. Especially after already paying the initial bill. They then explained that this would happen every month. They left a voicemail telling me there was a resolution to this issue and the rude CSR told me the resolution was me paying my bill.
Was told by an Alfredo Cruz that I would pay only 50 a month if I sing up for a 3 year agreement so I was like ok and now my bill is 140 a month for a two bed room smh and we are hardly home ... don t trust these ppl I should of know to good to be true

We were approached by their door to do sales personnel while out on a walk with my son. They were fairly nice and chatted with us on electric charges. Everything sounded like a good deal. When we were discussing TDU surcharges, we were told that they would not go up and stay less than what we were paying with the pervious company. It sounded like good rates and seemed like, yes, we were going to get a great deal.
After the first couple of months our bill actually went higher than previous months with the other company. I took a look at the bills and found that they were charging up more for the TDU surcharges and also adding on several hidden fees that were not talked about. It ended up that we were paying a little more then what we did with the previous company.
We called their support center and got an extremely rude person. They didn't discuss what the deal was with the bill or with the excess fees. They did have a higher TDU surcharge than what we stated, and they also wouldn't come out until after we went through the contract process and called the customer service representatives. I've never seen so many hidden fees or hidden TDU surcharges that were so high.
With us being in a contract, we could not get out of it until lately. Don't go with this company. They will tell you that they will charge you for just what you use, but they will still make sure to over charge you for what you use. Also, make sure to change companies when your contract runs out, they will be sure to take you to town with pricing for month to month, while you shop around.

She said it would be on the next bill. Well a couple of days later before i paid my bill for that month the credit was there. sO i PAID WHAT THE CUMPUTER SAID

I was LIED to by the representative that came to my house. I told him that the only way we would change to this company was if our due date stayed the same. He told me that yes as soon as the account was set up all I had to do was call Customer Service and they would fix that. He also said that they could take care of the Lite Up Texas switch. well guess what that was a lie also. That cost me a lot of money for that lie. And every month that I cant pay the bill on time which is nearly every month because it is due on the 26 or the 27 and we cant pay until the 3rd, we get charged a $10. fee and $15.00 late notice fee. (totals up to $ 300. per year extra. The way I feel about ENTRUST is SCREWTRUST and I would not recommend them to a pig in a pig sty. .And yes I have talked to their CS many times about the lies Sergio told us. And all i get is a big SORRY NOTHING I CAN DO. I wish that I had checked on them, I would never switched to Entrust had I read some of the reviews. So do your self a favor, if they come to your door send them running. Wished that I had. if there was a negative 10 (-10) star that is what I would give them!!!!!
Entrust has excellent customer service and competitive rates! They are definitely the best overall option for electricity service in TX.
Run, they will overcharged you . We previously pay 90 dollars to 102 every month for light bill with old company, but with this company, we were first charged 121 and the second bill went up to 261 dollars . Have never experienced this before .

I am so impressed with entrust Energy's customer service that I will remain a loyal customer for as long as they provide service where I live. Last month, as I was having an awful time with the water company that services the submetering in my mobile home park, but having no problem at all with my electric service, a representative from entrust Energy came to my door just to ask if I was having any problems or had any questions about my service. I told him no, but the water company, with whom I was having an awful time, wouldn't even talk to me on the phone. Ironically, entrust Energy, the company that was doing everything right, was the company that reached out to me to see to it I was satisfied while my other utility, the one I had nothing but problems with, wouldn't even talk to me about an existing problem. Entrust Customer Service has earned my loyalty for as long as they provide service wherever I live.
Overpay by $800.00, can't get my money 60 to 75. Yet I have pay on time!!!! Very bad customer service!

My son was finally getting his own place and taking over his bills and I needed to end his account with Entrust in my name. Alex was wonderfully helpful, as I m not in Texas and wasn t sure of the process . Everything was explained to me in detail and Alex was patient when I asked him to repeat certain directions. He also was knowledgeable about payments, billing, move out requests and timing. Even when he mentioned that there may be a fee associated with terminating the contract, he explained what was needed to document a move. So glad my son will be using the same service.

This company has been great. No surprises + good competitive pricing. They has exceeded my expectations. I get a weekly statis report on power usage comparing to the previous week. All good. :-)
Not very impressed so far. I got a lower kwh rate, but the delivery charges are more than TXU. I live in Abilene, we have windmills here. I was actually told the delivery charges would be less.
Making a future dated payment is not a payment arrangement unfortunately if you decide to move forward with them be sure to note this also if you extend your contract even if you try to terminate it before it starts you CANNOT because it is an extension

They are experts in deceiving people, the bill is tripled from the amount that they promised, very kind but with lies they lead you to change companies, cheaper dial, pure scammers
i have been with entrust for over a year and i love my rates , i love the fact that i can just go to my account and pay my bill not having to wait and its so easy to use. The bills are so easy to read no hidden fees i know what im paying for and how much, not getting confused like i was with a bundled rate when I was with another provider. And when I need to call I know that I will be getting world star customer service. Thank you entrust for helping me save money
I love the weekly reports. It gives me a good indicator of how things are performing and how may usage varies during certain periods.

Very bad! They changed my company without authorization. The lady told me that she went to my house to decide in a week if I would change with them and after two days I called her to say that I did NOT want to change with them.
Then I got a bill from My company where they charged me the early fine because they had already changed me to the other Entrust company. Call the number that the lady left me and said she was going to solve the problem. And they never solved anything for me. and the first bill of Entrust came very, very expensive! In my previous company I had never been so far! Too bad they do this to us.
This is the best energy company I have ever been with. We switched 3 years ago. On average, I get.03-.05 cents cheaper per kwh than any other company I have ever had. I used to be with Reliant Energy and TXU.

A guy showed up at my house going door to door. I was skeptical as hell. I was already paying a $320 a month light bill for November. The rates he has were lower so I gave them a chance. My light bill for December was 147.00. It made a huge difference. I'd reccomend them to anyone!
**** Almost a year later and my light bill has went up to $500 a month. I signed a 12 month contract. When I spoke to someone they had the gall to tell me it was because my refridgerator pulls different amount of electricity depending on the weather. Then they told me it was a 36 month contract not a twelve nearly a year later. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS! I WOULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS IF I COULD.

Horrible company.. a door to door salesman for their company came to my door and lied to my face to get me to sign up with their company.. And when I called them to confront them about their lies that the door to door salesman fed me, they basically told me they were aware of the lies but there was nothing they were going to do about it... I quickly switched companies and now I'm stuck paying a $600 bill because of a disconnect fee.. the lies they told me were that it would cut my energy bill in half and when I received my bill my bill was doubled.. Also there are a bunch of miscellaneous charges on the bill and when I asked the representative that I spoke to on the phone what those charges were they could not break them down for me they could not tell me what they were
