Unfortunately, I was tricked by a representative in my neighborhood. He never mentioned who he worked for and had enrolled me in Entrust Energy. I called and emailed every possible communication source and was successfully assisted. I was able to get this cancelled before the paperwork went in with the help of the Entrust Communication Center. If you or any one else has been scammed by a representative, please call and report them. The representative may be doing it for their own personal gain and may not be following the companies ethical standards. I don't have experience with them beyond this. I was successfully able to get this cleared up. I definitely give their help center a 5/5 stars, however, because of the neighborhood representative's bad moral, I have given Entrust Company a 3/5.

The sales rep that came to my door did not give me an option not to sign up. Every time I tried to deny he ignored it. He invited himself into my apartment, closed and locked the door behind him, and sat down at my kitchen table without my invitation. He had poor hygiene, made me lie to the customer service rep on the phone, and inappropriately hit on me. I was very uncomfortable and felt unsafe and like I did not have a choice in the matter.

Someone called to renew my plan, I told him entrust had not been the easiest to deal with. He hung up in my face. They respond to this review asking to "make things right" and nothing changes. You have been warned CHOOSE A REAL LIGHT COMPANY!

He switched me and then I called and cancelled only to find out through my energy company the next day that they didn't cancel it after all. I am under contract and the rep told me that I didn't have to pay my last bill, negatively affecting my credit. This is a scam, don't sign up with them!!

I'm not satisfied with the bill ...i switched over because I was guaranteed with cheaper rates yet I'm paying $150-180 more than my former light company. I referred someone and was told that i Would receive a $50 discount after 30days never did and that was 6-7monyhs ago. I will say that customer service really did a awesome job working with me on my bill the day my lights were scheduled to be terminated they called and set up a payment plan to keep them on instead. I didn't expect that but I'm satisfied. Sadly I won't be staying with the company too long. I will be going back to my former light company. My experience with customer service was superb.

So far after they explain what they charge for and how much the kwh would be... our bill has dropped so much compare to other companies that we have used! I love the option for paperless billing and you get text messages about your bill! Another big plus in my book that the bill is all on one paper page when you get it!

When a previous roommate signed up with Entrust, we were promised a great rate. What happened was we were overcharged and despite taking extreme action to lower electric consumption, the overcharging continued until I left a nasty review because I was frustrated. The company, to their credit, took action and must have actually checked it out bc my electric bill dropped by more than 60%. Rightfully so. Fast forward to today under a new account in my own name and it s happening again. We have closed off unused rooms, only use one light at a time and the thermostat is set at 65 degrees and STILL I have used 300 KwH this WEEK? The HVAC system is two years old. THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE. So, maybe the people who check meters could actually do their job and get it right. There is NO WAY WE USED THAT MUCH ELECTRIC. PERIOD!! This is absurd!!

My electricity bill hs doubled! Hidden fees. Sales reps lie. You can't pick your due date. They charge you 40.00 a month fees if you pay late. You can get better rates. The veterans discount is 5.00 per month. The 200 sign on bonus they claim will help pay your switching over fees is a partial lie because you get 100 off your 1st bill and 100 off your 19th bill but the reps don't tell you that part. They ptomise ypu 200 up front! Seriously you have the right to choose. Don't get sucked in by lies and promises from reps who will tell you anything to get your business....nothing the reps tell you is honest or truthful. My rep had the phone on speaker phone and coached me what to say to the person who was on the line asking me questions and if I had a question for the person on the phone the rep would wave his hands aaying he would answer my questions...because he knew the person on the phone would tell me different...the rep only wanted me to listen to his lies. I want out of my contract because the rep was so forceful and such a liar...

Received a missed call (not just a letter getting lost in the mail) regarding an overdue statement. After I moved, I was signed up for electricity at two addresses and the second did not apparently get hooked to autopay. Alex confirmed my information, quickly set up the autopay, and waved the late fee. So courteous! I have been with Entrust for years and I highly recommend them.

They are absolutely horrible when you have to move. I would not recommend them to anybody! I've had to call them not them calling me. They charged me an early termination fee of $300 because I had to get out of my rent house due to my landlord being absolutely horrible to me. When I sent in my change of address form that is a P.O. Box because I'm not getting mail at the house I'm living in.... they wouldn't call me to tell me it was invalid even though I was told by an agent it would be valid. So last month I had a bill collector call me and then I call Entrust and they told me it wasnt valid. I then had them launch an investigation and call me and leave me a voicemail if I dont answer. Once again today the bill collector called me. So I called Entrust and was then told that the investigation was done and my change of address form was not valid... not once did they call me. They are completely ridiculous! I'm trying to fix my credit and save up money for a new house and now I have to deal with this. If you deal with them before you move make sure your contract is going to expire if not make sure you dont use a P.O. Box for your new mailing address. Will not be using them anymore.

I enjoy Entrust because they remind me when my bill is due and I'd I have a problem I call them and they listen to me and help me solve that problem. They have very respectable Cust Serv. People.

I moved out of my apartment after using energy for about 2 weeks and was charged $64 for TWO weeks!!! I haven t even paid that much during a full month! They will do anything to recieve extra money from a customer, the customer service agents are not very intelligent and need to learn how to speak to customers. I was told that my early termination fee would be $150 by one agent and I got my statement 2 days later and they charged me $200 instead of the $150. They have poor communication skills, I called today asking about this and all they said was we will listen to the recording but it is $200 . They should not tell a customer a certain number but then charge a different amount.
Oh and after reading the reviews, a little too late, I see that they don t even follow through with what the same agent told me about simply showing them proof that you don t live at the address anymore and they ll waive the early termination fee.

I strongly suggest finding a different electric company!!!

Entrust Energy has the lowest rates for commercial in comparison to other providers, and the residential rates are great as well. What I like about Entrust Energy is the friendly customer service you get when you call in with any questions. They are quick to resolve any issues and if they can't achieve it right away they always follow up in a timely fashion.

The pushy rep. lied multiple times. He told me he worked for Center point (when I asked about the entrust logo he just kinda studdered with no explanation.) He said I would not be switching companies, just getting better rates. Then he said we were just going to do a confirmation call, just answer yes or no but when I asked the lady if I was switching companies she said yes. Very deceptive and I will tell everyone I know. Afterwards, I called my neighbors to warn but it was too late, he. actually decieved the elderly lady across the street & collected a $150 deposit.

I loved them, but they sold my meter to another company and said they don't have to explain why. I always paid my bill on time. To me, that's very unprofessional. I would be charged if I canceled, but they can just move me without my consent. I have been with them for over 2 yrs up until today when I got another bill in the mail only 2 weeks after my last one was due. I had to call and ask why and thats when I was informed on what they did.

They value all their customers and are dedicated to service those who seek great rates. Switched over to this provider on the promise kw hr charge would lower, it did not infact 4.25% higher.
Never received a bill till power got turned off, paid everything got a disconnect notice the next day.
Signed up for text alerts when bill was generated, never got a text. Called to speak with indignant rep who said I was just trying to get out of paying $60 in fees.
They suck, don't use them!

This company sold itself to my ex in MY NAME (we have never been married) promising him a lower rate, since he's a veteran. We have had $500 bills for ONE MONTH with this company. My old bills never went over $300 during the most expensive parts of the year. Y'all are crooks. How can you legally set up electricity in someone's name, then demand a fee to go somewhere else WHEN I NEVER AGREED TO ANYTHING?!?!?!?!?

Now my electricity is going to be disconnected in the summer, while my children are at home, and I'm trying to work enough to keep food in the house.

Terrible. TDU charges are a few dollars less than my total energy charges. They lock you into a contract and it s not until you receive your second bill (full month) and are locked into that contract that you realize this great rate they re giving you is overshadowed by pretty much doubling your bill in TDU charges. My current energy charges: $41.26 TDU charges: $33.88. My last company charged less than 5 bucks for this. Ridiculous. Don t do it.
