I'm a very unhappy, dissatisfied, and disgruntled ...

I'm a very unhappy, dissatisfied, and disgruntled customer. When I signed up over the phone, i was not made aware of the disconnection and reconnection PENALTY CHARGES OF $60?!?! So while I cannot always afford to pay my bill on time, I still pay it, even if service s interrupted...so this happened a couple of times where they finally informed me about the charges...which I never agreed to because they were not discussed by the rep who signed me up, because if they did, I WOULD NOT HAVE SIGNED UP. There are plenty of other companies who will not PENALIZE somebody a ridiculous amount of money to do the job that they already get paid to do.....so today my power disconnects, my minimum amount due was 195.00...which I cannot afford to pay today....I AM IN AN APARTMENT WITH AN INFANT...so I called to try to work something out so that I could pay for my ELECTRICITY SERVICE and to have those ridiculous charges waived from my bill....since I did not agree to that....and so I could pay my bill for ELECTRIC SERVICE...the people I talked to over the phone were not interested in helping me at all with my situation, refused to work with me to lower my bill so that me and MY BABY CAN HAVE POWER. I was insulted when he told me that if I had paid my bill on time then I wouldn't be in this situation.....so because I can't always afford to pay a bill on time, me and MY BABY are not worthy of electricity??? The ppl I talked to were very apathetic to my situation and refused to help...even tho it is AGAINST THE LAW TO KNOWINGLY LEAVE AN INFANT IN A HOME WITH NO POWER...they kept telling me to call 211 and to borrow the money....so when I asked them if I could borrow their money they refused. So I'm here in this apartment with a baby and no electricity because I owe PENALTY FEES that I CANNOT AFFORD! I DID NOT SIGN UP TO PAY YOUR BILLS, ONLY MY OWN BILL FOR THE ENERGY THAT I CONSUME! THAT'S IT!!!!!

I have had this company sonce February on 2015 and...

I have had this company sonce February on 2015 and I started off with a very inexpensive bill but somewhere between May 18 2015 and June 1 2015 my bill went from $167.34 to $510.92!! That's less than 30 days!!! My bill has continued to get higher and higher even though I only run my air at night. Customer service has actually been no help at alll and I get 2 bills a month!! I AM beyond irate... i think they are ripping me off and I can't wait until my contract with them is up...I face a bill of $728...im sooo over this company!!

Only Electric Company that I know of that allows you to be up to 20 days delinquent on your electric bill without charging you late fees or turning your power off. They even give you a reminder call, not a threat, but a genuine courtesy call. I wont be changing any time soon!

At first it was fine, then their prices became so expensive, they cheated on my husband that they would give him a good price and they did it for three years, we live in an apartment and our bills are 200 pesos up, too expensive for such a small place. They charged 300 dollars from my unauthorized card and it's already 2 weeks and they do not return it

The customer service was amazing. I didn't get transferred once even though I had multiple issues to deal with. Everything was handled professionally. It's nice to talk to someone who knows what they're talking about.

I wish I had an option to give negative star to this company. They showed up at my place before a week and said "You do not have to do anything just verify your information and we will reduce your bill". They called me and asked to verify the information. On that call I clearly said "I do not want to verify anything" and hung up. This response was considered as "Yes" and they made a request on my behalf to change my current service provider. I called them and said that it will take 5-7 business days to look into this and process cancellation request. My current service provider unfortunately does not give me that amount of time. Why do I have to wait for 5-7 something which I did not approve in first place? First, I want to ask for generous help to cancel the request entrust made on its own to my current service provider. I am writing this to see whether it can happen in a day or two. I have not seen such a highly unprofessional behavior. Beware of their representatives who come to your place.

This place charged me $300 for moving out of the place a family member was staying. I called them multiple times and i explained the situation and i was advised that it will be no issue, even sent them the USPS paper where it shows the change of address however they still didn't removed the early termination fee. I called again and I even stated I will reach out to the TDU and place a complain since by law they cannot force you to stay at a location, the escalation person i was talking to just didn't seem to care about that. They sent my account to collections since i refuse to pay $300 for something i shouldn't have been charge for. I gave them my new address, i showed them that a change of address had been made and yet still this issue has been resolved keep on mind this has been almost a year since i requested a move out.

Be very careful of the door to door agents they will switch you with lies just because they are trying to get commission. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

This electric company is a joke...anyone I know I tell to steer clear of them. They charge for anything and everything they can legally and if you have an issue, they always claim their hands are tied and you have to get it figured out. I had an issue with paying at a pay station bc Internet was down and simply asked to have til the next morning just incase they couldn't get Internet back up and they wouldn't even help with that.

My mother is a customer of yours. She received a phone call supposedly Entrust. They told her that her electricity was going to be shut down in 30 minutes for lack of payment. My nother is 84 years old. She called me on the verge of tears she felt sick to her stomach. My mother alwats pays her bills early. I called customer service. A ypung man named Manuel answered and checked her accounts she has two. They were current and he wrote down my complaint. I just wanted to make you aware of the situation.

One of the worst experiences I have had with a utilities company. There was a transfer of ownership in a business I was buying that wasn't completed for 1 month after the original documents were submitted. I ended up losing power and having to close my business and turn away customers for 1 full day as a result. Come to find out there was a missing form that was needed that the previous owner and myself did not submit. This form was not requested by Entrust initially. When they saw they needed it they called me but did not leave a voicemail, did not email me, did not send me a letter etc. With the nature of telemarketers today many people do not answer unknown numbers. Apparently Entrust doesn't understand this and decided that since they "tried" calling that it was my fault the change was not processed. I will be terminating my service with them immediately as I cannot risk this type of negligence in the future with my business.

I am requesting a commercial connection and the girl simply told me that it is not possible because the premises are not enabled, even though she has already had TWO contracts with the same company, the same premises, she provided number of contracts, meter, etc, and that not that the service could not be connected there, I asked to speak to someone superior to her and I simply hung up, very bad experience, from there they did not speak or show their faces

I love Entrust Energy. They are run by solid people and I used to work for two other major power companies in Houston. The website and customer communication is awesome and my bill is always correct. Signing up was easy.

If I can say one thing about Entrust Energy is tha...

If I can say one thing about Entrust Energy is that they need more people like Jorge Mendoza on the line for customer service issues, promote him to a trainer or clone him to afford their customers the skill set required to make things right. My issues with the company have been outstanding for the last year, though the energy they've provided as a re-seller has been fantastic. Jorge took my call and the challenge to fix my concerns, and within a 14 min phone call, he was able to meet every single demand and request of him with poise, professionalism and ethical behavior. To the executives at Entrust, please give Jorge the attention and gratitude he deserves. Thank you Jorge.

If there was a negative 10 option that's exactly what I'll give this so called electric company, I don't know who this company is paying for these reviews but I hope it's worth the money for the lies.
I was already 1 year into my contract when I moved and they automatically added another year, saying because I didn't fulfill the previous contract. IDIOTS I MOVED BUT KEEP YOU AS MY ELECTRIC PROVIDER!!
Customer Service is the WORST,most don't know proper ENGLISH, can't understand what they are saying. One representative HAD THE NERVE to tell me I need to stay on the phone and not hang up if I wanted to speak with a supervisor I LOST IT!!!
Increased fees BEFORE notifying me and had the nerve to tell me I should've paid my bill on time to avoid the extra fee's. Here it is 6 months later AFTER the supervisor PROMISED to have the fees removed, they are still on my bill and I just politely deduct it from my bill,
Lastly, I'm a truck driver, I'm away from home at least 17 hrs a day, 5-6 days a week, I leave the TV on for the dog yet EVERY MONTH MY BILL INCREASES $5-$15....GO FIGURE!!!
NEEDLESS TO SAY I'LL BE SWITCHING PROVIDERS BY WEEKS END,I'M DONE!!

I saw it was 3 stars rated but still gave it a shot, such a disappointment! Somehow our bill just went up and up and up at a point we would pay $200 (2 people) when we would rarely be home and use the electricity!
They also didn't give us our deposit back!!!! I don't recommend this company to anyone!!

HORRIBLE! At first our bills were extremely reasonable. Around $80. Our routines haven't changed one bit in our household regarding energy use. It's always been the same. For the past several months my bills have been creeping up higher and higher. First it was around $150... then $230.. Now it's creeping over $350 almost $400 dam dollars EVERY DAM MONTH. No way a small 2 bedroom is using no dam $400 worth of energy, Especially when we ain't home until the evenings during the week and on weekends . When youre on a "fixed rate" bills changing that drastically is complete bulls**t. Trying to find another reasonable and truthful energy company.

Please, Don't accept Entrust Energy services. The representative that came to my resident, representing Entrust Energy, lied about the entities of the bill. I haven't had Entrust Energy for almost two months and I've requested a final bill starting that I have a Zero Balance. I'm told that they can't produced are send me my final bill that shows a Zero Balance. When I call the customer service it states that I have a Zero Balance. After having several conversations, with different representatives and so call manager's, I've been told that my conversations with each time I called is being recorded and if for any reason, that I should receive a Bill are a statement with a balance, all I have to do, are needed to do is requested my conversations that I've had with each representative, that will state that I have a Zero Balance. Entrust Energy, has been and is the most untrustworthy company that I've ever had any kind of services with. What possible reason now day and time, that a company's computer will not generate a Zero Balance Bill are Letter.

They cut my lights off on a Saturday around 7 pm (mind you they close at 2pm & closed sunday) so my family was without lights the whole weekend. Monday comes and we call entrust to see why the cut my lights off when I paid my light bill 5 days prior to the cut off on sat ur day and. They tell me that they didnt cut off my light and to contact my utility company. I'm confuswd at this point because you are my utility company , you are who i pay every month right ? Then they say maybe the property manager! Come on people this is not right. So yall dont know who cut them off they just randomally went off after you close.! Moral of the story they are not a good company to go with bill always high then this happen. So I switched .. Good luck

I signed up with entrust because I was offered a lower rate, but the bill is higher that my last company! There is a $55 fee just administration. I had to pay a $150 broken contract fee with my last company just to end up paying more! I should have stayed with the company that I was with smh

Pricing is outrageous! They claim to use 'remote' meter reading. Your bills will always be high. The customary response from the company you see below, is a farce. I've already contacted customer service and, gotten lame reasoning as to their billing. No explanation for high charges. None. As in several other reviews, my bills have increased a great deal. I live alone, am gone a majority of the time and yet, bills always over $100.00. They've been much lower in the past($60.00). I don't know what's changed with this company but, it's no longer cost efficient. Shady practices. I recommend you look elsewhere for service.

I received quality service during my 5 years with entrust. Iam sad to have to give them up due to moving and them not servicing our new area. But overall a wonderful company. Hopefully one day they will move to my new service area.

Liars, scammers and no customer service!!! They came to our door and said they were with our current electric company and just wanted to lower our rates because we had been such great paying long term customers. Then when my bill is 200% higher one month and I am unable to pay it as I have Multiple Sclerosis and am on a fixed income and call to work out a payment plan Im informed I've only been a customer since August of 2017 AND having MS is only good for waiving the deposit AND paying half of the ridiculous unexplained exorbitant bill by the 25th isnt good enough...it has to be paid be the 22nd or they are turning of my electric. The rep I spoke with was RUDE, UNCARING, and literally could care less what happened to me. I offered 80.00 that very day. I had been with my previous electric company for 5 years. Had I not been lied to I would NOT have been with Entrust. I also did not receive the "savings" they promised me. I will be telling all my family and friends and frankly anyone who will listen not to use Entrust.

Read Wayne weng s review. Exact same story here. Rick Pearshall was my sales rep. If they solve my issue I d be happy to take this review down.

Day 2 and no response. My sales rep Rick Pearshall says he can t help and that an account specialist will call me but no call was received. I called help desk and they said their manager will call but 4 hours later and no call. This is terrible what they are doing to small businesses.

Finally got a call from a representative. They offered to refund half of the money and generate a payment plan to pay it back. They refused to reduce the rate at all even though it was literally four times what I normally pay.

In addition to the payment plan they forced me to agree to a contract that would lock me in to into entrust provider until the full amount was paid.

I spoke to a fellow named Floyd on the phone and when I asked if I could speak to a manager to discuss the issue further he said she was the manager. I asked who he worked for and he said he works for the CEO.

This company seems to be taking advantage of unsuspecting elderly customers, closing their accounts from their current provider and signing them up with Entrust without their complete understanding of what is going on. Maybe its not the company's fault but rather their door-to-door salesmen.

Today Alex attended to me. These days I have had verval contact with them. To fix my bill that I pay at Walmart since it is a store by mistake of the cashier I send it to another account. .. they gave me all the options and possibilities for that payment to be processed. . .. excellent service.

Entrust Energy is a wonderful service provider, MyAccount is awesome, the chat option is my favorite. The weekly usage reports gives me an idea of how much my bill will be for the month. i had a billing issue and the Customer Service rep i spoke to was very pleasant and fixed the issue. They also do offer a military credit, the only negative review i have is the credit is only offered on the primary account and not any additional accounts i have under my name. But other then that i have been satisfied.

Been a customer for a minute. As a senior citizen I changed from TXU with hopes of saving money, had really high bills. Have been recently approached by TXU asking if change was feasible, and if we might want to change back and allow them to work with us on lowering our monthly bill. For awhile, Entrust appeared to be the better choice, bills lately are making me wonder.

I love getting the weekly electrical usage chart. And it saved my electric bill and my new HVAC unit. But, I did not really watch it after my new unit was installed until I got my next month electric bill. It went from $119 to $243 in ONE month (and I've never had a bill over $180 even in the heat of summer). So I checked back on the weekly charts you send me, all to find that the day after my new unit was installed, my usage doubled! My bad for not checking the weekly usage charts instead of just saving them. As soon as I saw what was happening, I called my HVAC company. Their head tech found out that my new unit had been incorrectly wired and my heat pump was trying to heat and cool at the same time.
