Eden Crest offered a relaxing and beautiful environment for me to enjoy my weekend. John Mulligan was more than helpful for our group. He was there to attend to every need and request and always helped out with a smile on his face. I could not recommend this rental property more, it was absolutely amazing. Your vacation will be more than satisfied if you are lucky enough to have John Mulligan assist you during your vacation. Thank you to the entire staff, rental property, and especially John Mulligan. Thank you!!

After a diligent online search for the "perfect" cabin, my husband came across Wavyleaf Retreat through Eden Crest. This was to be our first cabin experience for an extended weekend for us, along with two other couples (friends of ours for 35+ years), who happen to live two states away from us. This was to be not only a getaway for us all (now empty-nesters) but the celebration of a milestone birthday for me and my two best friends.
Wavyleaf Retreat proved to be the "perfect" cabin for us all with bedrooms and bathrooms for each couple, a spacious, furnished kitchen, recreation space with something for everyone including televisions/dvd players, pool table and air hockey, comfortable lounging areas and a large deck overlooking a fabulous view of the mountains by day and the stars by night while relaxing in the hot tub or just lounging.
The staff was courteous and helpful with our reservation and always there to answer any questions we had both prior to our stay in September, 2017 and upon our arrival. The accommodations were great! Nice and clean, the view was spectacular, and the location was nice and quiet yet within driving distance to major attractions, restaurants and shops in and around Pigeon Forge. Needless to say, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and didn't want to leave. We're all ready to go back!
We highly recommend Eden Crest to others who expect nothing less than an awesome cabin experience.
We stayed in one of the cabins at Christmas time and everything was so nice. They even had a tree decorated for us. There was a total of 23 of us and the younger ones enjoyed the in-cabin theatre and game room. Even though there was several cabins nearby it was so peaceful and quiet and we definitely enjoyed the hot tub. We recommend Eden Crest to one and all and their staff are very friendly and helpful.
If your looking for a great cabin rental you should call edens crest. My family and I have been renting there cabins for many years and we are always more than happy with our stay. The cabins are always really nice and clean and if you do have any problems they will fix it wright away. I will always stay with edens crest.
We stayed at "Off the Clock". The cabin was clean, comfortable, nicely furnished and met our expectations. Arrival, directions, check in and check out was painless and easy with the phone app. We had no significant issue, staff was friendly and eager to help. The cabin has no view (none advertised) but does have plenty of privacy. A nice place to stay with plenty of room for lots of guests.
Great, easy experience with Eden Crest. We called while we were there and they booked a dinner show for us quickly. Cabin was clean and just like the pictures. We really enjoyed our stay. We'll be back.
Beautiful home. Very helpful with getting reservations set up. We loved Sasquatch Ridge. Loved the swimming pool. The Smoky mountains are my most favorite place ..
Large home, enough room for all 19 of us. Eden Crest helped with any concerns that I had. There was minor wear and tear to carpet and pool table. I would suggest putting chairs on the upper level deck so that people could sit out there and enjoy the views.
How Will You Take Responsibility For Your Mistakes?
Dear Eden Crest,
We were planning an event for June 18th - 26th in Gatlinburg, Tennessee where we needed to rent a house that could accommodate at least 18 people together in the same house. On your website, it listed that your Swimming In the Smokies house in Gatlinburg could sleep 18 people. When we talked to your representative Mariah requesting a recommendation, she also recommended us to rent this house and she informed us it could sleep 18 people. It wasn t until AFTER we placed a deposit of $3,764.91 (half of the total rental cost) with her for this house and another one that she informed us that the swimming in the smokies house was actually still under construction and wouldn t be ready for our event. She then proceeded to recommend another 3 small cabins to replace it. The next day, Mariah informed us your company insisted we would have to pay an extra $2,844.38 from our originally agreed price with swimming in the smokies house. When we asked why we would have to pay extra, Mariah told us that it was because WE were the ones who wanted to change, thereby pushing the responsibility onto us. We believe this is a serious breach of trust and ethics in doing business. We sincerely believe it would be for the welfare of the consumers and for the benefit of your company s reputation to avoid this kind of grave untruthfulness. How will you take responsibility for your mistakes?
(We have to give one star in order to post this review but we feel it deserves no stars.)
I had an amazing experience during my weekend stay at Eden Crest properties. Staff was welcoming and kind, specifically John who went out of his way to make sure we were fully accommodated and comfortable. Beds were comfortable, utilities were clean and easy to use. I will certainly be coming back in the future to enjoy another great vacation.
We stayed at the Memories and Moonlights cabin. The cabin was beautiful. Had an awesome view. Only issue we came across was the grill outside not working. Wasn't a huge deal for us though. Would stay here again!
My wife and I had a great weekend and everything was beautiful the cabin we had was called hanging round the view of the mountains was spectacular everything was close enough to get around to we have found a new destination to go to for the rest of our lives
My family and I have booked a cabin with Eden Crest several times. They are always very nice cabins and the staff has been extremely kind and help. I always recommend Eden Crest to my friends and will continue to do so.
My stay at Eden Crest was incredibly enjoyable. I stayed in one of the cabins and was very satisfied with the experience I received. John M. was very impressive in his hospitality towards myself and those I was with. I would without a question come back for another visit to Pigeon Forge.
I recently stayed at Eden Crest and recently and was pleasantly surprised by the quality facilities and nice living arrangements in my house. Host John M was kind and helpful in his service
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pinnacle View condo. We decided last minute to visit Pigeon Forge and everyone at Eden Crest Vacation Rentals was friendly and helpful. David was so helpful in finding the perfect place for our large family at a great price. Honestly, the price was so good that I worried about the cleanliness and niceness of the condo, but I was wrong. We stayed in the bottom condo, and it was extremely clean, and I checked everything! The condo was decorated very nicely, was fully stocked with all that was needed, had tvs in every room and the beds were even comfortable. The property itself was nice, too. The condo was in a beautiful setting in the mountains. My four young kids enjoyed the hot tub on our deck, and they visited the activity center at the resort daily. It had a pool table, ping pong table and free arcade games. They loved it! Needless to say, we will definitely be booking through Eden Crest again and have spread the word on our great find at Pinnacle View!
If I could give no stars I would! This company appears to be polite, helpful, professional...but it is NOT. The reservation agents are helpful, and I am sure just relaying the information they are told to. Do not fall for this trap. I noticed some negative reviews and questioned the reservation agent. She assured me everything would be fine, fed me full of lies (which I later found out) and unfortunately I fell for it because we were just in love with the cabin we planned to rent. After signing the rental agreement and paying my half down deposit, I get a call telling me the cabin I rented is "no longer being offered" on their program. After a little prying I find out the owner had left their company, and for good reason. Eden Crest wanted to move me to another cabin, which quite honestly was simply unacceptable at this point. There were no other cabins even comparable so close to our date anyway. I was lucky enough to locate the same cabin on VRBO and was able to contact the owner who they had put through a horrible time as well. I attempted numerous times to get in contact with someone in management at Eden Crest, however they were "on the phone", "in a meeting" and at an appointment every time I called. Luckily my reservation was turned over to the owner who was absolutely fabulous! My last call with Eden Crest was with the awful customer relations agent, which was the worst call yet. Please, do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE EDEN CREST! Regardless if you are looking for a place to list your vacation rental or looking for a place to stay, this is not the company for you!
I stayed at swimming with the smokies on feb. 15, 16 and it was absoutly not what we paid for. The indoor swimming pool was ICE COLD and there was so much construction going on thay i was not able to get any rest. The construction workers were gawking at us attempting to use the hottub which we had to put up tarps for some type of privacy. Over all the two ammenities i paid for that i was looking forward to using i was not able to enjoy. The amount of money i paid i expected to have a relaxing enjoyable weekend and did not.
My friends and I got a 4br 4 1/2 bath the cabin was very roomy. My vacation wouldn't have been complete without my pet which I was able to bring with me. The staff was also super helpful anytime I called. Wifi was not available at the time when I went.
We have stayed in cabins by Eden Crest Rentals several times. Each time we used Eden Crest Rentals, we had a wonderful experience. Everything is very organized from the reservation all the way to the check out time. They are great about helping throughout the entire process and make it where all you have to do is pack and enjoy your vacation time. The places we have stayed that are managed by Eden Crest Rentals are well maintained. If you have questions they are quick to answer. I would definitely recommend Eden Crest Rentals.
My stay with Eden Crest was great! The cabin was better than the posted photos. Great location, clean and decorated beautifully. Will definitely book with them again!
I have stayed at Eden Crest cabins several years now and highly recommend anyone coming to the Pigeon Forge area to look into staying at Eden Crest. The cabins are all well furnished and all like new condition with all the conveniences you will ever need. It is a closed community so no traffic problems and all my stays at the cabins I was very impressed how peaceful and safe so never worried about anything. The Eden Crest people also are very helpful with booking shows and some even are free for booking with them. No matter what problem or info you may need they are there to help you anytime. No matter if you have a large group or just a couple Eden Crest can accommodate your stay. I hope you enjoy your stay with Eden Crest as I have done for the past few years. Don Green Chicago Area
The cabin we stayed at was very clean and in a great location. We stayed at Pine Needles #6. There were fireworks every night at Dollywood that we were able to see from the cabin. The cabin came stocked with most items we needed. Anytime we had a problem or a question, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Now for the "not so great." The lock on our door was terrible. We had to fight with it all week to lock. On the last day it wouldn't lock at all. We spent half an hour messing with it while we were all packed and ready to go. In defense of Eden Crest, we didn't call about it until the last day. I'm sure they would have repaired it had we called earlier in the week. I wish that we were given more specific information about the cabin such as restaurants that deliver, how to get a high chair or crib (if available), how to get more towels, what to do if your outdoor trash bin gets full, layout of the premises, and information on the xplorie card. It would be nice to have the above mentioned information printed and available in the cabin. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
My family and I just returned from Gatlinburg on Spring Break (3/2014) and we had a fabulous time. From start to finish, the Eden Crest staff made this trip stress and hassle free. With great customer service being a thing of the past, Eden Crest staff reminded me that there are still companies out there that believe in providing a great customer service experience. I have to do some name dropping here as I'm sure all of the staff are great but my absolute favorite person to deal with was Andrea. We even went so far as to start asking for her personally and in the event she was busy, she always, always returned our call and answered whatever questions we had no matter how trivial. She never once made us feel like we were bothering her. Once again, "Thank You Andrea." Thank you Heather for the great bear stories.
Now for the cabin: "Better View" was an awesome stay. We did have some issues w/ wasp in the upstairs bathroom but once called, maintenance was prompt in responding to our needs. The view was absolutely amazing, the cabin had more than adequate space and the kids had plenty to do.
This was our second family trip to Gatlinburg and our first time using Eden Crest Vacation Rentals and we have all agreed that we will return to Eden Crest again and again for future rentals in Gatlinburg.
I left a couple items at one of the lodges. I called management and they asked me to wait until housekeeping went into the lodge so I did. No one called me back for 2 days. I called again and the management let me know that the housekeeping they use is contracted out and they couldn t do anything. I asked them to give me the housekeeping number and they refused. The accumulation of items left behind was at least $500 worth of stuff. The management there was not helpful and we re not responsive to my questions. Never again.
Me and my kids go to Pigeon forge every year but this year we decided to bring the whole family. And I am happy to say that this by far was the best cabin we have ever stayed in. It was huge, everything was nice and neat and there was enough to do to keep the kids busy on the day we decided to stay in. The customer service was wonderful and the special pricing we got was awesome. Very easy to find and near all types of restaurants and shops. Everything was literally around the corner. Me and my family will be booking again with eden crest soon.
Fantastic Experience! Not only was the cabin to die for, but the booking and check-in process was ultra convenient! The touch-pad/keyless entry feature on the cabin was great for our large family. There was plenty of parking and the view from the back deck was nothing less than spectacular! I will never stay with another company other than Eden Crest ever again!
This is a great family cabin! Our family had a small reunion in the Smokies, and we hosted a cookout for 20 people including four children, and this was a great choice!
The game room had two arcade games, a pool table and air hockey, and a TV, plus a home theatre room. The kids loved the games, the movies and the tree house! The adults loved the kids having lots of things to do!
There is a covered picnic table outside, and inside, the table seats 10, the kitchen bar seats four, and there are two sofas and a chair in the living area so there is plenty of room for people to sit, talk, eat and visit.
Between the gas grill, a charcoal grill, and a fire pit there are plenty of places to cook, and to make s mores!
The cabin was clean, and had a very well equipped kitchen. This cabin is between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, so it was easy to stock up at the nearby Kroger store!
We stayed in "Poolish Behavior". I cannot believe that such a place exists! It was fantastic! Everything was clean - the pool was cool, the hot tub was hot, the beds were clean and made up with plenty of pillows (which I need), the furniture was clean, the decks were perfect with lots of sturdy seating. All appliances worked. It even has a washer & dryer! We had plenty of clean towels & wash cloths & hand towels - plenty of dish cloths, dish towels, & pot holders. There was plenty of cooking & eating utensils (need some small spoons, though). They provided us with the little shampoos/conditioners/soaps/make-up remover pads/dish detergent/ dishwasher tablets/ paper towels & toilet tissue - everything was perfect! We plan on going back again - just don't know when. The only thing we really had a problem with was the parking - our cabin sleeps 45 people, but we had 23 and 7 cars and had to "borrow" a space next door. Other than that - it was fantastically perfect! We will definitely rent this again. Oh & we saw a raccoon and a bobcat while there & the birds sang beautifully, especially the whippoorwills.
We have stayed at an Eden Crest rental property for many years. Each and every experience has been a delight for the whole family. The houses have been perfect and the locations were the best around.
Also, would like to say the staff have always been exceptional. Their customer service and friendliness would be hard to beat for any other agency. TOP NOTCH.
We look forward to many more stays at an EDEN CREST property that our family and friends will remember for a lifetime.
Let me first start by saying that the property was very attractive, the rooms were nice, and the appliances were very well taken care of.
However, the lack of efficient administration from your associates was not great. We had booked this vacation months in advance, it was not cheap. When we got here, the power was on but soon turned off around three in the morning. We called several times in regards to the power being off only to be reassured that we were getting power within the next couple of hours. We had also just bought 750$ worth of groceries in the fridge, just to have it go bad. We received no restitution for this. The power never came on and we never got any type of accommodations for the problems that we faced. No generators with the house, no new house, nothing.
Not to mention, when talking to the staff about our problems, they actually laughed at us while we were explaining our problems to them. Again, this place is not cheap, we expected the best for what we paid. We did not get it. Our complaints were valid and the staff did not care, they cared about the money in their pockets and that s it.
Lastly, as we watched other houses leave, we decided to stay only to watch the houses that had just had there occupants leave filled only hours later. I think this shows just how incompetent and money hungry this company is. People would leave due to the power outage just to have the houses filled again. Some of our new neighbors weren t even told of the outage and were told that their houses were ready without problems. Lies.
We stayed at Paradise Mountain Pool Lodge in January 2016 for the weekend. It was a Luxurious Cabin. Everything was Perfect. It was Large and very spacious with plenty of room. The inside pool was great and so was the game room and pool table. We had so much fun. The Mountain view was Amazing. Our Overall weekend stay was Fantastic. Great Job Edencrest!!!!
Very disappointed with our cabin! For thethe price of the cabin, my expectations were so much higher! Let's start out with the kitchen. With a cabin this size you know there is going to be a good size group of people! We had to do dishes by had the whole time because the dish washer would stop half way through and dishes were never really clean! We tried to use the grill but it was on a timer (that we were not told about) couldn't figure out why it was taking so long to cook! We gave up and brought it inside to cook! So much for hanging out on the deck with good friends and family BBQ! But I guess that's OK because the construction workers stared at us more than they worked!
The room I was staying in was nicely decorated but I was SHOCKED when I sat on the bed and it shook! Every time during the night if I rolled over I felt like I was on a ship I was very concerned that it would collapse with me in it! You could stand by the foot of it and barely push on it and the head board would hit the wall! This was a big safety concern of mine! How can they rent a cabin that they can't even check the safety of the beds!
I tried to get in the 2 seater sauna with my husband but it was so small I barely fit! Very much disappointed! The hot tub level was low from the start and had to make several calls about that! Decided to take a swim.... Which would have worked if I was a penguin! It was so COLD! I had to take a shower just to warm up!
The only reason we stayed the entire time was because we could NOT get a refund and we had friends and family that came from out of state to rest and relax in the mountains! Neither me nor anyone that stayed with us will ever do business with this company! Wish I had checked BBB reviews before I booked! They have several complaints there as well!
Two of our grandchildren joined us in our stay near the Smokey Mountains. We had a very pleasant time and the grandchildren were extremely thrilled to see a mother bear with three cubs as we unpacked our vehicle. We had a great time visiting various places in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Smokey Mountain National Park. We all enjoyed staying in the cabin for the 4 nights, the quiet, lack of traffic, and peacefulness of staying on the side of a mountain was very enjoyable. Getting a way from the traffic and congestion of the tourist was great in helping us wind down after long days of playing, sightseeing, and entertainment. We all look forward to the prospect of returning sometime in the future. Thank you very much for allowing us to use your cabin.
We have used Eden Crest Vacation Rentals for several trips to the Gatlinburg area. We have always been pleased with the service from the staff and each home has been clean and accommodating for our group. We do an annual family vacation for the Christmas Parade and have rented a 9 bedroom home and recently did a 'girls weekend' and rented a 6 bedroom. Eden Crest is prompt on addressing any problems that may arise and makes sure your stay is comfortable!
Our stay here was good, besides the fact that they over charged my credit card and refused to refund it. After calling customer service, one representative told us that she listened to the call and clearly heard us state that we didn't want the insurance. When it was time to put the money back on my card, another representative said it was to close to my arrival date to refund it.
Wonderful experience, brought my entire family, which includes a total of 18, we celebrated thanksgiving in the smokies, couldn't have been any better, the cabin was amazing and all the activities and shows to see was unbelievable, we have decided to make this our annual thanksgiving celebration. Thank you eden crest for an amazing time
We had a fantastic family vacation/reunion--and it couldn't have gone better because of the service and capabilities of Eden Crest vacation rentals...service and quality are their top priorities---that's for sure!!!
I have been using Eden Crest Vacation Rentals for at least the last four years. I started off with my 40th birthday getaway with some girlfriends and then this year I brought a different group of very special ladies for our 1st Annual retreat/surprise birthday party.
This cabin always feel like a home and that's why I always try to book the same one :). The staff was very nice and friendly through the entire booking process as well as when we couldn't find the check-in information.
Eden Crest will ALWAYS be my go to for cabin rental. We are looking to book for the holidays next year as a 1st time family cabin trip
The cabin that my family and I stayed in was beautiful! We were secluded, and had such a wonderful view of the mountains! The cabin was clean, and was stocked with everything we could've wanted. There was an outdoor picnic table, a grill, a hot tub on a very large deck, foosball inside, netflix and other streaming is provided. There were even puzzles, and games provided for us. It was a relaxing visit, and we can't wait to go back!
We stayed in the Smoky Cove area and enjoyed the convenience of the pool area. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. We have stayed with Eden Crest twice and would definitely do it again. The ease of check in and check out with them is awesome.
Eden Crest provided a beautiful, clean cabin for our stay! We stayed in the Arden Hill cabin and upon our arrival, everything was wonderful! I'm freakish about where I stay and cleanliness, but they met my high standards. The hot tub was very clean, bed linens/towels crisp and clean, shower was very clean. I was extremely pleased!
My only complaint would be the wifi was slow and wouldn't allow for any video streaming from netflix/youtube. For basic surfing the net (facebook, ig, etc), it did fine. Seeing as this is a vacation, I should unplug and enjoy the beauty of the mountains around me anyway!
This would be my 4th time coming to the mountains and I would say this stay was far the best. Everything was outstanding! The cabin, the rooms, the pool, jacuzzi's, arcade games, etc. I could go on. Paradise Pool Mountain Lodge...we will be back!! Shop with Eden Crest Vacations!
If you are looking for a cabin where you can enjoy yourself - you found the place! We truly enjoyed the sauna, hot tub, arcade game, pool table, fuse ball table and air hockey in the cabin and the indoor pool and putt putt golf they offer.Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin. You could hear everything going on in the room beside you and you could talk to one another in a normal voice, as if you were in the same room. I had to ask my kid to turn the TV almost all the way down upstairs because I could hear it word for word in the bedroom below. Of course, I have not stayed in all of their properties, but the one we stayed in I would not recommend for a family if the parents wanted privacy from the children in the evenings. Also, when they say no refunds regardless of your experience - they are not kidding. So, even if things do not go as planned and something happens where you are not comfortable staying (as I was not as a female with a child), they will apologize and say 'wish I could have done more' and that's it. If we are supposed to call the police, it would be great to have that information in the cabin or provided at check-in, as I had no idea what number TO call.
Booking our reservation and communication with Eden Crest was very easy. They provided us with all the necessary information we needed for our stay. The view from our cabin was amazing and had all the comforts of home. It was close enough to all the activities and sights we wanted to see.
The family rented a cabin from Eden Crest and we had no complaints about our experience. The cabin was beautiful and the views even more amazing. We rented "Above it All" and it was such a comfortable stay for the 12 of us. The 4 bedrooms are nice and spacious. The house was clean and really felt like home. Definitely would rent from Eden Crest again! Thank you!
We stayed in Hanging Around. It was a nice cabin but the floors were so filthy that the bottom of my socks were black. The shower was nice, however, I stepped on a rusty nail while taking a shower. Luckily, it didn t hurt me. We called maintenance and they didn t do anything about it. We won t be staying with Eden Crest again.
My experience with Eden Crest was unimaginable. My husband and I was so impressed with our rental and all the amenities that we could not resist calling and FACE TIMING all of our family and friends while we were there. It was so relaxing and very serene. We plan on making it our yearly Anniversary Getaway. I would love to get to experience it more often with my family and friends as well. Eden Crest will be greatly missed until we make it back. Thnx again for a terrific time.
We stayed in a eden crest cabin rental with our four children . The cabin rental was extremely beautiful , everything was cleaned to perfection. The hot tub was put on the balcony which has a really nice view of the mountains . Everything in our cabin worked perfectly . We had a wonderful stay in our cabin and would most definitely do it again. The only disappointment was we found out the week of our vacation that the cabin we rented did not allow our dog because of its breed after we rented a dog friendly cabin, so we had to make arrangements for our dog to stay at a puppy resort .
Our family recently rented Rustic Retreat to celebrate my mother-in-law's 84th birthday. All her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were able to be there to celebrate. Our cabin allowed each family to have plenty of room and privacy when needed, yet we could all be together for the birthday cake and ice cream. The kitchen is adequately furnished, so we were able to cook breakfast each morning. No one had to rush to get ready to go out. We found the cabin to be quiet and serene, but it only took 5-10 minutes to be on the parkway in Pigeon Forge. Eden Crest was so wonderful to work with! They made our check-in and check-out so easy and simple. Their office staff was ready and able to answer any questions that I had ahead of time. We would definitely stay with Eden Crest Vacation Rentals again!
Wish I could leave less stars. They told us that the reason our maids left bedding with "body fluids" on the beds is because they don't change them every time. Even after week long guests. Gross. Also, you pay a cleaning fee to show up and spend your whole first night cleaning up someone else's trash and fluids. And then they only refund half because they sent a maid with a trash bag of new linens and so it was supposed to correct the issue. The body fluids were on the futon mattress cant just change that so easy. The cleaning service takes full advantage of no one checking behind them and your cleaning money is all for nothing. There were spider webs and cigarette ashes all over the balcony. Spider webs in the shower. Pet "messes" to put it nicely all over the carpet in a no pet cabin and spills all over the hockey and pool tables. I personally hated having to remove the soiled bedding myself and the waded up used tissues that was under the trash bags they just put a bag on top instead of actually dumping the trash. The "crystal cleane" cleaners aren't doing their job. The photographs prove just how nasty this place was. Don't use this company they just screw everything up, had to fight with them until the day we left. Stayed a week. They didn't seem to care that their maids were lying and not doing their job. They use a third party cleaning company and are getting ripped off causing the renters to ultimately pay the price twice.
Our family had the wonderful opportunity to stay at the "Blessed Nest" through Eden Crest Rentals. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed to make our stay amazing! During our stay we had an issue with the entertainment system and maintenance personnel came right away and took care of the problem. A few days later we needed to call for assistance with the hot tub and again they came right away and took care of the problem. Eden Crest is a wonderful company who takes pride in their rentals. We've rented from this company before and have NEVER been disappointed. Thank you!
If I could write 0 stars I would. I recently stayed at the Hulabaloo cabins for an extended weekend. We arrived on Friday to find that one of the bedrooms joining bathrooms had a soaked carpet in-front of it and smelt like standing water. We also found that our jacuzzi wasn't working. We called to have them come in and check in and they said they would be there ASAP. 4 hours later, they finally arrived. The maintenance walked in and out and said there was nothing he could do at the time and someone will come the next day to check it. He also said to not use the bathroom. This is a invonvinece. The next day, we come back from excursions to find that the carpet had dried a slight bit. We called maintenance and they said that we were able to use the bathroom. They had still not fixed our jacuzzi until Sunday morning. The toilet in that said bathroom flushed extremely slow and had low water. Sunday, we went out and came in to find and SMELL the house and bathroom which REAKED of cat urine, feces and standing water. It was so bad we had to close the entire room off and make sure the windows were open to air out the room. We called maintenance and they weren't in. We called their emergency department phone service and after 7 times of them hanging up, they finally answered. They had no explanation for us as to why this was happening and they said " just don't sleep there and sleep somewhere else." Which means that we spent OVER $1000 not to sleep in a room and have to sleep on the floor due to the fact that all of the beds were taken. This is a week later and we are still dealing with them and trying to get in contact of how AWFUL the experience was and how awful the smell was. Awful customer service. I will be taking my business elsewhere when coming back to Tennessee
I have used eden crest every year for our couple cabin trips. Customer Service is amazing, and very helpful. Like any trip, minor issues arised and eden crest sent someone right away to fix them. Their cabins are beautiful and the locations of them are very pleasant and quiet. You can never go wrong when booking with eden crest.
Eden Crest customer service was excellent. After booking a cabin last minute, we were unable to reach the cabin (hill too steep in the rainy weather for our SUV to make it up), we called the office back and they graciously switched us to another cabin. The new cabin was larger and rented for more, but we received it for the same rate. New cabin was extremely nice and had everything we needed and more. Freebies package was nice and was easy to use to get services/attractions tickets. Had an issue with door code late one night, and they were just a phone call away. Had it reset in minutes. Will definitely stay with Eden Crest in the future due to the great customer service we received.
We love staying at Eden Crest. The area is clean, beautiful and close to everything. It's easy access and the roads are very accessible. This is always the first place we look when renting a cabin in Pigeon Forge and we've never been disappointed.
Our rental property was very clean, and provided several great amenities. Jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom was a plus. Unfortunately we did not have time to use the pool table in the loft.
Eden Crest's rental procedures were spectacular. Door code access allowed us to easily check in extremely late at night (almost 4am) with zero issues. Their staff is professional, nice, and helpful.
Our ONLY complaint was that the area had almost zero cell reception and the cabin was not equipped with wifi. This made for a difficult time planning with friends in the area.
I have made an attempt to call and voice my disappointment surrounding our stay at Swimming in the Smokies from 02/14/19 to 02/17/19, but since this was not taken seriously I have this review prepared.
Once a month I have the chance to step away from everything and get a break from the hustle and bustle of life. I get to escape to beautiful peaceful locations where I can have fun and spend time relaxing and resting. Like other months I made arrangements for a restful and serene weekend in the mountains with my friends. A weekend that carries a nice price tag but is worth every penny for what we typically get.
I made my reservations, I paid for the non refundable rent, then signed my contracts. I did not get what we expected. I drove up to a construction sight and I was not informed that the cabin was surrounded by construction. Within an hour I was having to call to have my tire repaired because I picked up a nail. But we handled it air in tire and repair done. No big deal, things happen.
I do my routine walk trough to check things out and notice the water level in the hot tub is low, so I call the rental company to have it filled. Two calls after they responded hours later. Cold water, no hot tub for the night. Again no big deal we have a heated indoor pool, but the pool was not a comfortable 72-75 degrees. It was ice cold at around 55 degrees.
So we all stay up late and enjoy a nice meal out on the deck on a lovely evening. Making the best of a situation until we can have issues resolved in the morning. The idea was to sleep in and then handle things before the other guests arrived. Good idea right? But that is not what happened.
Friday morning at 6 AM I was startled awake by a diesel engine that sounded like it was in the cabin. They were unloading construction materials and getting ready to ruin my peace and quiet. Instead of sitting on the deck and enjoying my morning of bird song in early spring and coffee I was met with a full day of saws, hammers, drills, and clanking around. And I did not get more than 4 hours of sleep. I was prepared to make the best of it by cutting on pandora on the outside television and blocking out some of the construction noise with some music, but the TV would not mirror or release a blue screen.
I just bit my lip and figured I would have Saturday morning to sleep in and to have peace and quiet. Yep, I was wrong. AT 730 we were hot with more construction noise and by 9am the nail guns from the roofers. But that was not even the worst part, the worst part was the roofers staring at us in and out of the hot tub and on the decks. We finally had to put up tarps to block their view and make all of us feel like we had even a small amount of privacy.
Over the 3 days we were there the pool never heated up so that we could swim. We did not get the rest we needed. And our privacy was infringed on by drooling peeping tom construction workers. If I had been informed about the construction before hand we would not have stayed at this cabin. We would have opted for one that was not surrounded by construction.
During our stay, Saturday I had my personal assistant call about the noise and they rude peepers and she was told that a construction warning was on the web site (I did not book through the web site) and in the contract. We had already paid and were in a nonrefundable status before we signed the contracts. Then another call from my partner about the pool heat, he was told that the owner did not allow the adjustment of the temp settings.
We have rented cabins once a month for the past 24 months and this is the first time I have walked away disappointed, exhausted, and feeling ripped off.
Thank you so much for not addressing our concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Fisher (The author Jillian James)
Additional:
After making the complaint I was told that we caused damage to the cabin, which we did not cause and told we had to pay another $350. Damage we did not cause.
My family and I stayed in Tranquility and I have to say it was amazing. It being my husband and I's first time to the Smokies in general we weren't sure what to expect, but the house was great, there was so much to do (they give you tons of coupons and vouchers!) and the view we woke up to every morning took my breath away. Definitely going back when we get the chance!
The time we spent at the cabin up, up and away was one that will never be forgotten! The cabin was beautiful and cozy with the kids having the loft and downstairs bedroom and game room to the cozy living room with the stone fire place And, the view.....breathtakingly! So memorable that we made sure to book our 2017 family vacation at the same amazing spot, thank you Eden Crest for having a very helpful and friendly staff! And a website that is easy to use and detail friendly
It couldn't have been better. We had a 4 day extended family trip with 10 people from 4 to adult and it was one of the most awesome times ever. The cabin had absolutely everything you could ask for and the view from the deck in the evening was like looking into heaven. The Gatlinberg area and Smokey Mountain National Park just added even more enjoyment to an already perfect time. We will return eventually.
Stayed at Moose Behaving. I wanted to let you know that the Eden Crest staff have been absolutely amazing. Every one is kind & friendly.
I can get passed not having the cage delivered but being forced to pay for it, urine stained carpets, hot tub issues, no silverware holder for the dish washer, frig water filter needs changing, mud covering the front walkway but not being able to sleep while on vacation is miserable.
Please pass the message on to the owners, as I know you have no control over each cabins condition. Thank you again for YOUR excellent customer service.
My family and I stayed at the Eden Crest cabin and it was fantastic! The cabin was very clean and so homey! We were in love and very happy with our choice !To my surprise the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook. The area was quiet and beautiful! We will definitely use Eden Crest cabins in the near future.
Spring Break Family Fun! We absolutely LOVED our cabin Sweet Surender ! We spent a whole week in our awesome cabin fully enjoying the game room in the loft and the hot tub, sauna, and swing on the back porch. It was a peaceful and rejuvenating week. How could it not be when you are able to enjoy a glass of wine in the hot tub while watching the snow fall while the kids are having fun inside playing pool, air hockey and darts! Our daughter really liked going to the heated indoor pool each evening too. The location was perfect, secluded to get a real mountain experience but close enough to town to enjoy all the attractions. Not to mention the customer service by Eden Crest associates who were available and friendly every time I called. We can t wait to go again!
We totally enjoyed our stay with Eden Crest Vacation Rentals. The cabin was very clean and up to date. It was located in a convenient location. We would happily stay there again!
Every time we have stayed with Eden Crest it has been wonderful. We have seen many different areas. The cabins we have rented have been very well maintained. Being a Property Manager I inspect every place I stay and by far has Eden Crest been the Best!
Purposefully misled myself and my group about rental cancellation policies. Said they are not capable of issuing refunds through AirBnB since it s third party. AirBnB said the cancellation is up to them. So who is lying? They encouraged us to push the dates back as the only way to not have to lose out on our money over COVID-19. But now they know they ll be pocketing our money anyway because we won t be able to make our second payment date. Horrible people taking advantage of people in an age where unemployment is on the rise and we need our money back. We are trying to be fair. They are taking advantage of a pandemic.
ADDITION: We submitted our request through AirBnB. They said because of COVID-19, hosts are able to refund their guests 100%. It is up to them. Many small businesses have shown up for their employees, customers, and community. Eden Crest believes they're above force majeure. Never, ever do business with them. They are willfully choosing to keep your money and blame third parties and their "zero cancellation policy" despite an unprecedented global pandemic. Their offer to reschedule our trip only 6 months out (HA! the year is gone!) is additional $100s we also won't get back.
My stay at the Pine Neddles Chalet was the weekend of September 29th, 2017, and I enjoyed it!! The location is convenient to local shops, restaurants, and attractions!! What I enjoyed the most was the privacy of location. It is great if any couples would like to get away, and just enjoy nature!! The hospitality was great when I had a little trouble connecting to WiFi! Richard was very helpful, and stayed with me until the issue was resolved! Richard very kind enough to give me his email so that we can communicate, even after office hours to ensure I was able to connect to the WiFi!! My only recommendations are that the bedding be washed, I found hair on the sheets that was not mine. My second recommendation is that the towels be thoroughly washed. When I grabbed the towel to dry off, there were remnants of cologne left on it!! My third recommendation is that the property should be fenced in for extra safety!! These are my only three drawbacks, I would definitely recommend this cabin to others!! I overall enjoyed the experience, being that this was my first time in the mountains!!
The cabin we stayed in was called Heavenly View, and that it was !!! The cabin itself was completely gorgeous, loved it, BUT the hot tub was seriously disgusting, they never cleaned it, if they did, they didn't do a good job, there was dirt and other things floating in there. I was going to complain but we only stayed for 4 days, by the time they would have drained it and cleaned it and refilled it, we would be on our last day. I left message with them when I left, but no one returned my call. I hope for the next person's sake, they cleaned it, because it was literally horrible, so we never used it at all.
Loved our visit to Gatlinburg. Reserved a cabin thru Eden Crest Vacation. Cabin was very clean. It was everything we thought it would be. And the pics on the internet are the same as what they look like in person!
We rented a cabin in Feb through Eden Crest with a group for Valentines weekend. We had the best time. Accommodations were great and I will certainly be using Eden Crest again in the future.
Eden Crest is the best cabins to rent with!!! I had no problems at all, from beginning to end everything was done professionally and in a timely manner. My family and I stayed here in July 2016 for our annual family vacation and we all agreed it was the best trip thus far! Starting with the cabin that was so beautiful inside and out, the area was so peaceful and the location was great, perfect distance to everything! This vacation will not be forgotten and Eden Crest is one of the reasons why! We will definitely rent with them again!
The mountain splash lodge was amazing. We went with a group of 21. There was plenty of room for everyone and the view was absolutely stunning. Definitely one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. Eden Crest was very easy to work with and great customer service.
Our church organization rented out the oak leaf lodge and all 6 chalets in Poplar, 3 chalets in Briarstone, and the Conference Center for a 8 night retreat. We spent about $30,000 for this retreat. Initially, everyone raved about the accommodations. The resort had many amenities and it was absolutely beautiful in October. There was even talk of hosting our retreat there again next year. Unfortunately, two days before we left, we discovered bed bugs in 3 of the units in Poplar. The on-site maintenance worker confirmed them in 2 and said that he didn t need to see the 3rd because he would have to have the whole building treated. The next day Orkin came and treated. Three people were severely bitten in three different units. A complaint was made to the management. Once back at our respective homes, I received a phone call from Dusty, the property manager stating that Orkin only found one bed bug in one unit and suggested that we may have picked it up at a restaurant. He said that the owner would be willing to give us a gift certificate for a future stay to resolve the complaint. The parties involved did not want a return certificate but some type of monetary compensation for the two days they could not sleep in their beds. At this point, the management is playing middle man between us and the owner. A couple days later, we call to see what she is willing to do, only to be told that we had broken 2 cameras in the conference center and she was going to call us even. I requested pictures of the damage, as well as the repair bill and pledged to cover any and all damage that we may have caused. The bed bugs were a completely separate situation. Dusty said he would email me that information but never did. We found another complaint online about bed bugs in the same units and Eden crest did the same thing to them by accusing them of damaging something in the activity center. After several days of leaving unanswered messages, I called to see why I never received any pictures or estimates of the supposed damage to two cameras. Dusty said I would need a lawyer to get those. The owner was completely unwilling to give any type of compensation to those that were affected, she refused to provide us with credible evidence that we had damaged her cameras, and she refused to speak with us directly. I feel that she handled this situation in a very unprofessional manner. Honestly, bed bugs can happen anywhere and that is not my reason for this bad review. My reason is in the way it was handled. She, the owner absolutely did not care to make amends. As a result, she definitely lost our future business, which like I said earlier, was about $30000 for 8 nights. I told her that word of mouth goes a long way, so I m sharing this review to warn people that if you do experience a problem with this particular owner, don t expect her to right any wrong. Her decision to treat us so poorly, will cost her in future business in the long run! Buyer beware!. Update: Edencrest replied to this review and as expected, mis-stated the facts. We never requested a full refund for the 3 affected units, we simply asked for some type of compensation to be given. Also, to say that only one bedbug was found in one unit is utterly ridiculous because their own on site maintenance guy confirmed bed bugs (plural) in two different units and 3 individuals in 3 different units were all bitten. As for the owner asking for reimbursement for the so called damaged video equipment, that never happened. She wanted to call it even without ever showing us any evidence of the damaged camera. I requested pictures and a repair bill and told Dusty that we would take care of any and all damage caused by our group, because we are responsible unlike this owner. A lawyer was only mentioned once it was obvious to us that she was not trying to do right by us. The fact that another review has the same story about finding bed bugs and then being accused of damage that was never proven shows a pattern of deceit. Write reviews and expose them, force change!
We decided not to go with Eden Crest, and here's why. Living 4 hours away from Pigeon Forge, I used the chat function online to ask about some of their condo lodges (Cypress and Hemlock). I asked if they could email me floor plans for the condos so we could figure out if they would work for our large family reunion. Nikki said no, they did not have any floor plans for those condos. No way around it, I made a trip all the way there to see the condos for myself. When I walked in the door, Nikki handed me some papers about the lodges...including FLOOR PLANS. I was so upset about having made the trip for nothing, but I let the manager take me to see them anyway. I asked him why I was told they didn't have floor plans. He said "Oh, I don't know why she said that" and that was it. The one condo he was able to show me had not been cleaned from the previous renters, but I could tell it wasn't a well-maintained place. He didn't have access to all parts of the lodge, so he couldn't show me everything anyway. I told him I was very unhappy to have made an 8-hour round trip for nothing. We will not consider Eden Crest for our family in the future.
Booked with Eden Crest in the past and LOVED our stay. Our cabin was beautiful with stunning views!!! We had no problems or issues and will definitely be booking through Eden Crest again!! Check in and out was extremely convenient with all the information being emailed in advance. Love Eden Crest!!!
We rented the Sugar Shack Cabin, in Sevierville, TN, managed by Eden Crest.
First, The Bad News: On Friday night, January 6, a snow storm came through, as forecasted. We love snow, and were actually looking forward to it. That afternoon we visited family in Knoxville, and by the time we got back, the steep, curvy, mountain roads to the cabin were snow covered, and our front drive Acura could not make it, so we had to park inside the entrance and walk up the mountain to the cabin. No problem. It was a lovely, winter wonderland walk up the mountain, and our Springer Spaniel had a blast.
By Saturday morning there was 3 - 4 inches of snow and temperatures did not get above 15 degrees, so we were concerned about getting our car up to the cabin to pack up for our Sunday checkout. The cabin had not been booked for the days following our checkout, so we called Eden Crest to see if we could buy an extra night, if necessary. The rep said that due to the snow, the staff at the office was very busy, and that she left a message for them to call us back. They never did. No problem. We had fun playing in the snow, and by Saturday afternoon the roads had been plowed, and although they were still very slick, and it was very dicey, we were able to get our car up to the cabin.
On Sunday morning, at 10:45 A.M., fifteen minutes prior to checkout, we were nearly packed up, except our coats and cel phones were still in the cabin when the key code was changed and we were locked out in 11 degree weather without coats or phones! Fortunately, we had our car keys, and drove down to the entrance to see if there was an office, but apparently it s off site. We then drove half way up the mountain and borrowed a neighbor s phone to call Eden Crest. After being placed on hold for a few minutes, we were finally given a new key code, and managed, slipping and sliding, to get back up to the cabin to retrieve our stuff, and get on our way.
The Good News: The cabin itself was lovely, and reasonably clean, with a wonderful view off the back deck. The king bed was OK, if a little creaky. The kitchen was adequately stocked with cookware, dinnerware and utensils for my wife and me, but a larger party might find the supplies a little slim. The hot tub, which is wonderful, is on the rear deck, just next to the Master Bedroom, and its heater runs all night, which doesn t make for the best sleeping conditions. The TV in the living room works fine, but has limited channels, and even though it s DirecTV, there s no DVR function, so forget about recording something to watch later. Wifi was very goof for a rental property, about 14 mbs. Be advised that these cabins are much closer together than the pictures reveal, so if you re looking for more privacy, you may be disappointed, but it was fine for us. Sugar Shack is on a corner, so there are neighbors only on one side, woods across the street, and the great view in the back. There is an old service road/trail, across the street, just past the tree line, that s great for hiking, and it was lots of fun in the snow.
Conclusion: We certainly recommend this cabin, but advise low expectations for the Management. While they were always friendly and courteous, and apologized for the premature lockout, locking guests outside in freezing weather 15 minutes prior to checkout is a MAJOR screw up! If we were to stay at Bear Creek Crossing again, we would likely look for a cabin managed by a different company.
The staff are excellent and very friendly to work with. They answered all my questions and the cabin couldn't have been any more perfect. We stayed in the Hugs and kisses cabin and it was very cozy. My boyfriend surprised me with a proposal and it couldn't have been more perfect. The spot was perfect and views outside were amazing. I highly recommend staying in one these cabins.
My friends and I stayed at Eden Crest Vacation Rentals this past January and I honestly couldn't ask for a better experience. We had such an amazing time. The cabin was so spacious. The views from the balconies were out of this world. The host provided us with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. We did not experience any difficulties whatsoever. If you are planning on going to visit the smokey mountains, look no further and book at Eden Crest while you can!!
Plenty of room in this cabin for 4 families and a dog! This cabin has something for everyone--a pool table and air hockey table along with a video game machine and darts. There were 2 hot tubs and on the premises and indoor and outdoor pool. The cabin was very clean and spare sheets were provided for the sofa beds. The kitchen was well stocked with every gadget and pan we needed to cook a meal. I liked the app that gave all the details of our stay, but it was not always efficient in the mountains. I would like to see a book that remains in the cabin that has the details in print. For instance, we wanted to use the mini golf course, but didn't realize the putters and ball were in our cabin. All in all, we we impressed with the cabin and the facilities--our family would go back in a heart beat!
We stayed in the Scenic Vista Lodge, we had to call everyday while we were there. We were told the cabin would be CLEAN! AND INSPECTED! before we got there. The maintenance guy was there day one to fix a chair and hot tub, Day 2- He had to fix a toilet in a bathroom upstairs and put in all new outlets in the bathrooms in the basement area. Day 3- we called in the morning to get a new shower curtain because the night before we got in there was mold all over the curtain. I had to contact twice about it and did not get till that evening. Day 4 we turned on a lamp and it sparked and we did not have power in the two main level rooms, when I called the lady she said maintenance would not be available it was to late at night and the management would call, and they did not! We had gotten double charged for a pet and they did not refund money and that has been asked about twice. The pull out couch bed had food crumbs in it, some of the dishes were dirty and you might as well bring your on kitchen pans if you plan on cooking! While we eating there were huge ants crawling out of the wood. The whole cabin was just dirty! I would expect a lot more for the money you pay to enjoy a week away with family.
I couldn't have been more disappointed. None of the photos indicated that the 1 bedroom cabin I had rented was a basement unit with people in a unit above me and the no place to park. The view was a ditch. There wasn't one photo on their sight that indicated the terrible location. Make sure you ask lots of questions or you will be in a dark basement looking out a ditch.
Our visit, July 5 through July 8, 2018, for my wedding anniversary was mixed with "good" and "very bad." Poplar Point 12b, property was clean. Telephone communications with staff were friendly. The kitchen was adequately equipped. The TV in the living room did not work. I reported it early and often with many promises, but no solution whatsoever. The queen beds in each of the 2 main bedrooms were old, worn and impossible to sleep on. The 4 of us slept in the bunk beds. For my disappointment I was offered a 50 dollar credit of nearly 900. No thank you. I am a frequent PF visitor but never make this mistake again.
Beautiful cabins and views! The staff during check in was super nice and helpful. The cabin was very clean and lovely. When we was there last summer the grill at our cabin wasn't working. So we call the staff and they sent someone right over to look at it. They ended up being us a new grill to use. We will be coming back soon!
I'm not sure that I have ever written a negative review related to a management company in all of my years of traveling - well not one that resulted in 1 star. I booked a cabin "Blue Lagoon Cinema" for a work trip through the airbnb platform, and everything that could possibly go wrong did. The cabin has great potential and the amenities online were superb; however, almost all of the amenities were rendered unusable and there was a very slow response by the management company to address the issues. In short, because there is a character limit, the owners had removed the wi-fi routers and boxes prior to our stay rendering us without wi-fi access (for a business retreat) and without access to the two outside televisions. The theater rooms wires had been unhooked rendering it unusable and the heated pool wasn't heated. I assume we could have fixed the last issue, but their office was closed and so they simply don't respond after 6 to messages or calls, and don't have after hours people that can address problems as they arise. The kitchen was not stocked with basic amenities as was stated in the booking. While there were plenty of eating dishes, cups, and utensils, that s where it ends. There was one hot pad, one guest towel, no dishwasher pods, one pizza pan, a non working can opener, a few mixing spoons, one small 1 cup measuring glass. NO bowls for basic mixing or really just anything that should have been in a cabin of this size. As a result, we bought a bunch of stuff just to be able to cook. The place was clean and could have been a real winner, and maybe had the company's response been better, I would have worked with them to a resolution. However, after paying 2K to stay in a cabin for two nights as a gift to your hard working staff as a part of business retreat, and being promised multiple amenities, I was slightly offended when they offered me a 50.00 credit towards a future stay. I overwhelmingly post positive reviews. Check out my trip advisor to see my record. I'm not one of those people that makes a mountain out of a mole hill. We own a vacation rental, and we know that things happen; however, this was not an act of God, the owner willfully removed several amenities prior to our stay and no one felt it was important to let us know? It's bad business, and as such I would never recommend that someone stay with this company. When you pay that much money, you expect that the amenities they say they have, then they have them or they make it right. For anyone who would like to see text messages to verify these issues, I am glad to supply them. We have pictures and documentation of all correspondence. I have filed a request for refund from Airbnb, and I am hoping that Eden Crest or airbnb one will do the right thing and make this right.
** Update 12-2-19 : Airbnb was able to help me obtain at least a partial refund. This was after me attempting to contact the "host" with no response and filing a formal complaint. Good for airbnb for doing the right thing!
