If you want a nice, clean cabin, don't rent from this company. They called us the day before check-in and said the cabin we rented would not be available, but they had another cabin that is even bigger that they could give us for the same price, so we agreed, trusting they were telling the truth. My mistake.
1) After I signed the new contract (I know, shame on me for not checking first), I found the second cabin was cheaper, but they charged us the same. When I contacted them about it, I was told they don't "think " there will be an issue refunding us, but there is nothing that can be done now because upper management won't be back until Monday.
2) When we arrives at the cabin, we quickly realized that it ia definitely not comparable to the cabin we reserved.
3) The hot tub lid wasn't even on the hot tub, and it is full of bugs.
4) There are spider webs and spiders in a lot of corners.
5) There are bugs all over the floor as well as dirt.
6) The furniture is filthy.
7) I was told the cleaners would be back to take care of the issues, no show.
8) I called and asked what could be done. Could they put us in a different cabin? No, nothing is available. Will they refund us so we can go find something else? Nobody there can make that decision.
Now, the upper management won"t be back until Tuesday, so we are stuck .
Spending almost $3000., and we can't even let our grandbaby get down on the floor to play.
Thank you, Eden Crest . Your lack of customer service has ruined our vacation.
Update: someone came to clean the following day. She was very nice, and addressed our concerns. She couldn't believe how bad the floors were. She also had to completely drain the hot tub. In addition to just not being cleaned, the cabin is just in poor, worn out condition.
Update: Refund was received today. In response to whoever responded earlier, yes, cleaning was the major issue. Wear and tear is one thing. Bugs and dirt all over the floor is different. Addressing "immediately" is not the following day. I was told the head cleaner was notified and would send the cleaners right back. I called, and asked via text three times with absolutely no response. Check your facts before accusing me of being wrong . They also knew the price was different within 10 minutes of having me sign the new document because I called and told her, and she verified it.
