WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD!!!!
DO NOT GIVE THEM A PENNY OF YOUR MONEY.

Numerous problems and they will not take ownership. Despite the orangery being installed less than 4 years ago by the previous owners and having a 10 year warranty they refused to help us as it was not "transferrable between owners". We spoke to a VILE woman on the phone too who clearly couldn't care less about the fact our roof is falling apart with pieces falling from the ceiling and damaging our property and a serious safety risk to myself and my family. STEER CLEAR. After speaking to a few other extremely helpful conservatory companies it appears that they are clearly known in the industry to be a dreadful company and a complete DISASTER.

I will write a full review but couldn't wait to pop this quick one on,

DO NOT USE DUNRAVEN WINDOWS.

Apart from the reception staff and the Forman the level of customer service from Dunraven is some of the worst I have ever received and I have dealt with a lot of retailers and suppliers.

The installation standards are also some of the worst I have ever seen.

They even admitted the job was terrible! and five return visits were needed to get it write, caused so much inconvenience and stress to our family and not ONE apology no compensation or a gesture of good will for, as they admitted doing a terrible job!!!

To explain in brief they had almost completely start our job from the start again.

The Sales team and area manager are very pushy and very rude.

They are terrible in dealing with customer complaint and when asked to speak to a manager for answers they get their nice Forman to do the dirty work.

We had two new doors and eight window and I had to walk into the offices with over 250 photographs detailing extremely poor Standards of installation.

Our experience with Dunraven has been a complete and utter nightmare and I would not recommend them to any one ever.

They do not communicate between departments!

I could go into more detail and I will post another review but pushed for time at the moment.

19.30 on a Sunday evening and receive a phone call from one of your sales Reps, she presumed I was Miss Gay who owned this telephone number 10 years ago! So I'd imagine the contact you had with Miss Gay was also 10 years ago!

Told her that I don't expect to be called on a sunday evening at 19.30 for telesales! To which she said well this is my job, would you prefer I stay home and claim benefits from your taxes?!

Business hours are Mon-Fri 9-5, you should stick to cold calling within those times (if you must!) and update your team's training on how to speak to people!

I once showed interest in Dunraven when I needed a new door. They have continued to hassle me with calls for months now even though I ve told them I now do not need anything from them (I went with another company). Worst bit is, the calls are at ridiculous times - Sunday evenings and 9pm at night! I m feeling totally hounded and each time they promise to take my phone number off their list and they re lying. I now would never use them if I needed a job doing.

The owner may have an award from the queen but if ...

The owner may have an award from the queen but if he could see what's happening to his business, he would probably be distraught!

Please read all of this

Leaflet for 'no obligation quote' delivered to my door on the Wednesday, 2 phone calls missed and one answered on wedesday night,
Sales rep booked for following day. Sales rep came and pretty much demanded me to sign for an agreement there and then (all less them 24 hours since leaflet was given)

As a young woman, I feel that i may have appeared more vulnerable then what i actually am.
Here is what happened.

I found the overall meeting was horrific due to the following.
1- the sales rep (Ryan) was very friendly, until it got down the the actual costings
2- he was pushy and requested a yes or no to the quote there and then.
3- when I asked for breathing space and time to think, he said the quote is only valid until today and he needs to get the ball rolling as it s nearly Christmas and he needs to book the surveyor.
4- when I said about the overall amount being a bit too much, he said well the direct debit is only X amount so you wouldn t realise it& you have it for 15 years. (As a potential customer, he should have allowed me extra time to think as 15years is a long commitment and it was a lot of money)
5- his tone and voice escalated when I said I dont like being pressured and didn t want to sign anything straight away without thinking things through
6- he took the price down but was still an extremely high amount
7- Ryan never went through the paperwork with me or my partner and mentioned nothing of the 7 day cancellation period
8- I felt he didn t give a potential customer their request of breathing space and when I asked again and again for it, he said well he isn t in the area for a couple of weeks and then it will be too late to do anything as it s Christmas .

I have since sent my cancellation via recorded delivery.

I Put a complaint in at 320pm and the Ryan who i complained about actually called me at 345 asking why I had cancelled my agreement. I passed on my issues with what happened in our meeting just the day before and he, again, was rude on the phone, tried to give me yet another cheaper quote, explained that the company I have chosen to do my work wont give me warranty, probably wont do a good job etc.

Why he felt the need to contact someone who had complained about how pressured they felt in the meeting is beyond me. Not very good customer service at all!

I have chosen to go with another company who are going the job 1/3 of the price this company were quoting me!

I have not had any work done by them, but from what I have experienced, I'd give them a 0 star!

I dont think the sales reps understand 'free, no obligation quote'. I think they understand it as 'we will just throw figures at you and wont leave your house until you sign!'

One close call!

I was pestered by a salesperson for this company at the McArthur Glen Outlet in Swindon. I now keep getting unwanted calls to my ex-directory number, which end as soon as I pick up the phone. If you call back on the same number, you get no response. I wouldn't deal with this company if they offered me free windows and a free conservatory. Avoid.

Dunraven windows constructed us an orangery style extension which we are over the moon with. They did everything we asked for and completed all of the work within the 3 week timeline we were expecting. The workmen were friendly and polite and we were very impressed with the plastering especially.

Have had windows correctly fitted and have waited a few months to see if any more problems. I have to admit they are now fitted very well and have been a good replacement for the old windows so far so have now upped my rating.

Had 7 windows fitted of which 3 were fitted incorrectly. Have now waited in 5 times and had 2 short visits saying they would come back and correct the window faults that were pointed out. At no time ever has anyone come back to fix the faults. We have had phone calls from the works manager giving times but still no one has turned up.

I can't post a negative rating, else I would had given this company (-1000).

A future recommendation to anybody reading this review - Please don't even entertain Dunraven people (handing off marketing brochures) at your door steps and NEVER EVER think of giving your contact numbers to these people.

Our only mistake was we were courteous and didn't wanted to be rude to the Dunraven guy handing off Dunraven marketing brochure at our door-steps; however we were trapped by the guy (handing off marketing brochures) to provide him with our contact number so that the Dunraven sales team can contact and explain the products in detail. Just within an hour, I received the call at 08:30PM when I was having dinner with my family. After they explained about their products, I told them we are not interested and requested them to take off our details from their system.

BUT NO, they didn't removed me from their system. Since that day; day and night, during anti-social hours, during office hours, when I am in office meetings - I am receiving 3-4 calls on a daily basis (from different numbers, including private numbers) despite that I have told them that I am not interested in any of their products.

Our entire family is frustrated on this cold-calling (even at 08:00PM on a Sunday night); we will now report this company to Ofcom as well as the ICO.

I honestly don't recommend any body to Dunraven, stay away from these people and never ever share your contact number with them.

This company are an absolute nightmare. I contacted then over a year ago to make a sincere enquiry about a front door. There then followed continuous phone calls at least once a day, even on remembrance Sunday when I was remembering lost friends. As a result they lost my sale, which was a shame as they are local to me. They are still ringing me over a year later. I have blocked their landlines but they use lots of different mobiles . Wish I had never contacted them. If you are remotely thinking of double glazing avoid ringing them at all costs.

This was my previous review. Guess what the completed conservatory is leaking terribly. We are scared our electrics are going to be fried now and unsafe.

Have contacted you Emma I expect to be contacted first thing to discuss the way forward as we need this fixed tomorrow. Also compensation and a refund for the non existent skirting boards. As requested previously.

____________
We are now on our fifth week of having our conservatory fitted. Supposed to be cleaning it up and fit out guttering today.

Yet more broken promises. This is just a taste of our God awful experience.

If they are not here tomorrow am going to report my reviews and findings on Facebook twitter and watchdog.

Very rude door to door sales people. Awful reputation. Dunraven assumes all people are stupid by offering massive discounts even before they have quoted.

Instead of trying to con people and assuming everybody is as thick as your sales people, why not simplify life and offer a quality product at a reasonable price.

Is that too complex a concept for Dunraven Management to understand ?

I do not recommend the company because,
I even had to give a star, because this format will not let me write anything without an asterisk, it sums it up.

The representative at the meeting proposed the Conservatory of the panels and he chose us the emphasis that we must decide today
We said ok
Construction started 3 months later (I was not present at home, only wife) installed other panels
and left the mess of finished work (horrible) I never make use of this company's services anymore

We purchased a new front door in April 2019 and already we have called out engineers twice to fix the door. It keeps sticking when closing.
Also, we keep getting telephone calls from Dunraven sales team even after making requests to stop calling.
I have blocked the Dunraven landlines but they still call using mobile numbers, which I keep blocking.
Additionally, their salesmen knock neighbours' houses saying thing like do you like your neighbour's new door? - pointing at ours in an attempt to get another sale.
Stay well clear of this company. They will not leave you alone. We will never use Dunraven again. Grr...

Very disappointed about the experience I ve had. A salesmes called at my door on Saturday and as I was thinking about fitting a new window & door I ve decided to give him my details (schoolboy error...) for a free no obligation quote. I have also asked the person not to be contacted during the weekend...don t think he was listening. First missed call on the same day, Saturday 8:30ish PM, about 6 calls on Sunday and I then finally answered monday evening, after about 4 calls. Have agreed a date & time for the visit and the lady on the phone insisted that my wife is also home for the visit. Tuesday another 3-4 calls to confirm the booking. All calls from different numbers!

After a couple of minutes of trying to convince me to buy the product and me insisting that I need to look on the market for other suppliers he left nodding his head in a sort of I ve wasted his time manner, because I didn t agree to buy his ridiculously overpriced product.

Avoid!

Today a young man from Dunraven windows knocked on my door. I am thinking of getting facias and drainpipes etc done so agreed to accepting a call from them to arrange an appointmemt. As agreed someone from Dunraven just telephoned me but insisted on knowing if i had a partner or not b4 arranging a home visit saying they needed to know because they held the quote for 12 months!!!!!! What on earth has me having a partner got to do with anything?? All i want is for someone to come, measure and quote for facia boards!! I will not be bossed into telling a complete stranger over the phone any personal details! All they needed at this stage was my address. What a strange bloody company?

We had all our windows and doors fitted just 2 days ago with Dunraven.
We are very pleased with the end result, the fitters Richard and Daniel were quick, clean and efficient. All was done in 8 hours. They took away the old windows and doors, so no mess for us to clear. Very good quality windows and doors, I would definitely recommend Dunraven.

Knocked on our door and offered a no obligation, free quote for conservatory ceiling glass to be replaced with their new patented glass.

Guy showed up and my wife was not home, so he said he couldn't do the quote. Company policy.

TL;DR Seriously aggressive sales tactics, prices made up on the spot and then dropped only if you say yes today. Essentially given an ultimatum in my own house. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Just had a new conservatory roof fitted by Dunrave...

Just had a new conservatory roof fitted by Dunraven to replace the existing original conservatory polycarbon roof...what a huge difference!!! Genuinely can't believe how much quieter, warmer and better this has made our home and can honestly recommend anyone thinking of having this type of work done on their home to speak with Dunraven. We found them extremely competitive on price even with different payment options if required, the workers very tidy, professional and polite and the product fitted seems of a high quality.
After the work was completed and seeing the high standard of Dunraven we further had a new front and back door fitted, again the price being very competitive and the workmanship of a high standard. The difference in the temperature of our home is extremely noticeable, we hadn't realised just how bad the previous doors had become and similar to the conservatory, the quietness is incredible.
From our experience with Dunraven we would sum up by saying they provide high quality products, very competitive prices, high level of workmanship and great customer service, all with a long guarantee. We'll definitely use them again when the windows need replacing

Ripoff!. Took advantage of my parents and charged way over the odds for what was effectively 4 windows and a door. Promised to fit everything in the day but only sent one fitter around initially. Dust everywhere when they finished. Anyone thinking of using this company, my advice is to shop around and get multiple quotes. They all follow the same old patter. First quote ridiculously expensive, then a "Bargain offer" if you commit which in reality is not a bargain. Don't be pressured into signing or agreeing to anything on the day. A decent company will let you have a think. Ones that are pushy are out to force a decision before you can evaluate the deal fully.
I will never buy from this company, and neither will any of my family after our experience.

I am very impressed with this Company and so pleased I had my replacement doors and windows fitted by them.
From meeting the advertising ladies in Tesco, through to the fitters I have had excellent service.
The Salesman understood my budget, he worked out the best products for my circumstances, didn't try to push me into either spending more than I could afford or taking out finance. After the first installation I requested he came to do the second quote.
I was told I could have one product fitted at a time if I needed to because of my personal circumstances
I had two separate installation days, the fitters both times were pleasant to have around, worked very efficiently and left both indoors and outdoors clean, I didn't even have to dust the window ledges. No paintwork, brickwork or cement surrounding the windows was damaged so no extra work to repair things is needed as has happened previously with other companies.
The staff in Head Office have been polite, efficient and helpful at every stage.
If I ever needed such products again I would definitely use Dunraven and am recommending them to friends.
I don't understand the previous negative reviews, they do not reflect the ethics and customer care of this company.

Police called due to Dunraven Windows harassment.

Police called due to Dunraven Windows harassment.
We bought windows from Dunraven. The fitting was poor with leaks every time it rained. It took over 6 months of persistent calls to Dunraven to come and fix the issue. We then went to another company for our remaining windows and suffered over 2 years of harassment from Dunraven Windows. Phonecalls every day, Sunday mornings at 0730 hours, calls late at night, abusive callers threatening me and my family. We called the Police who recorded an incident against Dunraven, attended Dunraven Windows Company and told them to stop calling us and remove us from their database. Since then we have had 3 calls from Dunraven and nothing for the last year. Do not under ANY circumstances buy from this company, speak to them or get them to quote for you as you will suffer terribly from their harassment. This company need to be shut down.

We had a Dunraven salesman come to our house and give us a quote for doors. He was a master and within an hour he managed to talk my wife into agreeing the product was great and the price was right, so no reason for her not to give a deposit for the work to be undertaken at a future date inspite of telling him at the beginning of the meeting that we would be seeking alternative prices. Once I walked out of the meeting he was left high and dry and never returned. Price wise very expensive compared to other companys although I never had an opportunity to check the quality standards they were supplying to. The sample he had was poorly finished without deburring and they got the quality standard incorrectly advertised in their website.

Recently had a low threshold bi-fold patio doors fitted to give me wheelchair access. Excellent service where surveyors and fitters arrived on time and regular updates were given on arrival times etc. Fitters were very professional and clean and kept us updated throughout the process of fitting the doors to make sure the required access would be ensured.

Saleperson giving the original quote was professional and polite and took the time to understand my specific needs.

Yes we had canvaser knock on our door back last year from dunraven wanting too know if needed any double glazing doing, and at this time we thought we'd upgrade our front windows as they were over 25 years old.
So a young sales lady came a few days later and talked us through their product, I explained what I wanted agreed the price ( which I usually knock down but didn't my mistake)!! A few weeks later the poor fitter on his own put the Windows in, took him all day to to fit them ( love him) and finally about 5 o'clock on a December night 2 of his work mates turned up to help. He done a good job and we are very pleased with the windows.
In fact we are that pleased with them that we had my cheap composite front door replaced by them and I must say that the door is very solid and worth every penny of my knocked down price. I did have an issue with the knocker, it didn't fit the gap, but soon sorted.
Today I am waiting for them to arrive to fix my lock on said front door.
Yes the sales team can be a bit full on, trying to sell me a conservatory now but said haven't got the room and would contact them if & when we need anything, and not heard from them since...

2 weeks ago fitters arrived to fit 4 bedroom windows and a porch. One window was measured incorrectly and couldn't be fitted, another cracked and needs to be replaced, not to mention a catflap that was not the correct size (poor attention to detail) . Was advised that we would hear in 3-4 days!! Apart from numerous calls from sales and 2 personal calls from sales people, not one communication about when the other windows will be competed. Customer satisfaction very lacking!! Expensive product and a little worried about the outside condensation on the porch windows.

Update, despite contacting as requested by Emma, Dunraven haven't replied to my latest email. Neither a promised 20% or replacement door have materialised. I've been advised by a Dunraven employee to go through the company who issued the credit account to get a refund.

Absolutely AWFUL experience! Called at the door 4 times in a month, finally took a leaflet just to stop them knocking the door. They then phoned my mobile 6 times, each time I told them I wasn't interested. Got another phone call, so I ask them to remove me from their calling list. Still got another phone call, so blocked the number. Another phone call from a different number.......blocked. Another number.....blocked. Yet another number.......blocked. You get the idea. These people are pestering, harassing and very rude people. I wouldn't do business with them even If I was living in a windowless shack and was dying a slow and painful death from the bitter cold, and they offered me some windows for free. Go stick 'em where the sun don't shine! I now make it my mission in life to stop anybody I know from even acknowledging these people exist. I'm so annoyed that I even have to give these people a star to be able to leave a review.

UNPROFESSIONAL - I was approached by a lady called Penny in the foyer of Morrisons in Parc Morfa on Friday. Friday evening at 18-44pm I received a call on my mobile from Dunraven to say they would be with me to measure up for my free quote tomorrow at 1pm (Saturday). We all work in our house, and normally shop on the weekends, so it was a tough day trying to juggle normality with an extra appointment, but we did it as anyone would. We waited and waited, we did not have a call to say they would not be coming nothing. My son in law was over Morrisons and the rep there refused to talk to me over the phone as she was not the one dealing with me on Friday, but did say ring this morning (Sunday) as they are only there for an hour or two in the mornings. I have run but nothing. Its obvious Dunraven don't need my custom. So now I will go elsewhere for being given the runaround. Once I get my quotes off others, if they can undercut them by at least 30% they just may have my custom back but if not forget it. I am not gonna be given the runaround anymore. Useless Company so far, and they haven't even given me a quote yet?

Lied to when 'sales person' described installation. Installation was rushed and botched so badly glass broken on new door by the workman was left on the kitchen floor and became dangerous. Repeated (several) calls and replacement parts fitted and still finding faults a year on. Dunraven Windows does not do compensation for such stress and bad workmanship (calls by Dunraven at seven in the morning telling me that they are on their way!!) SO BE WARNED. Overpriced and bad workmanship means a nightmare and not a dream. Front window has also been fitted with 4mm glass making it wobble when doors are closed and useless for sound proofing.
Gave it one star as there was no minus stars.

Had a conservatory from these. Was told the that their conservatory fitters were the best. Of the top of my head it's leaked 5 or 6 times this year. Each time someone comes out and silicones it up! Even had roof rails replaced. The leak is worse then ever. No 24 hour service...wait time is long. I will not be using them this year when we replace the whole house with new windows.

With the risk of coronavirus still an issue and safety measures still in place, it is disgusting that this company feels it it important enough to risk the health of potentially high risk residents by sending it's reps door to door without even the use of a face mask and attempts to personally hand out leaflets.

This company is literally the worst ever. I honestly don't know how they're still trading. Damaged my house and haven't even bothered to sort out the damages they're just so slow in responding. If I could put one company out of business it would be these. Unprofessional cowboy builders. Don't waste your money BOYCOTT NOW

I asked Dunraven to quote for the replacement of an existing old conservatory structure which was falling apart. The salesman arrived the very next day. After inspecting the job, he said he would have to ask the opinion of technical experts in his office before he could give me a price. A few days later I had heard nothing and I called him and left a message. He did not return my call. Another week went by and after leaving several messages I called his office after which he called be back saying the job would be tricky and for that reason he declined to offer any price for the job. I do not regard this as the attitude of a professional company and I will certainly not be using them or recommending them. After reading the other Google reviews I feel I may have had a lucky escape and suspect they are primarily interested in quick and easy gains rather than providing a quality service.

I had all my windows and doors replaced by Dunraven. I was keen on the energy efficiency of the new windows but I haven't really noticed any change. The initial salesman was very nice and did a good job. The installers made a mess of my rendering on the outside of the house when fitting the back door. I wish they'd pointed it out to me but I only noticed later and they'd tried to cover it over with foam which looked awful. The company did come back and made it look a bit better but it was a bit of a mess. I've painted over the rendering now so its not so bad. They did continue to hound me and the second salesman was also good and advised me that I didn't need any more work doing. The third lot of salesmen were much more pushy. I told them I was exhausted from travelling and couldn't make an informed decision but they somehow got me to sign on the dotted line by inferring I didn't need to make a decision for a year. Then I was inundated with calls about having the work done. I'd told them I worked nights but they continued to call me in the mornings. I wrote to them to say I'd changed my mind and they wrote back to say I couldn't change my mind as I'd signed a contract. And I thought I had a year to make a decision. I complained again that I'd been mis-sold and they agreed to not carry out the work but I lost my deposit. I'd say the company has very good employees and very bad employees and its the luck of the draw who you get. I think they need to standardise their processes and stop the aggressive marketing which only annoys people. I'm still getting calls and after my last experience I would never use them again.

Relentless phone calls. Pushy sales tactics. Repeated calls when I plainly said not to call during my working hours as I can t answer the phone. Unable to follow simple instructions. Awful scripted calls from someone clearly only keen on hitting their targets/earning commission rather than actually listening to what you need. I massively regret handing my contact details over in the first place. If they re this pushy to obtain a quote I can t image how they would be in trying to get a sale. The number of reviews which echo this clearly indicates this is their way of doing business. Initially I was interested in obtaining a quote, now I will be blocking their number. One to be avoided.

Update September 2018

We have gone ahead and purchased from them as they do offer great products. Laura was great too very helpful.

Original post Feb 2018

Salesman was pleasant enough but I don't like the 'we can't do the quote unless you're both there' sales tactic amongst the others they employ - e.g. this deals only available today etc. Shame they have to employ these underhand tactics as I think the products look good quality.

Very very bad. Poor communication had to chse and chase. Work is very poor standard and the windows are cheap and do not fit properly as they are non standard size, they have packed them out and just used mastic to fill the gaps. It looks awful. I will Never Never entertain using them again. We are now planning how to get their products replaced. It cost a lot to do a very shoddy job. No room for complaint as far as they are concerned its a standard way of working. I hope this post helps you making the same mistake as we did. It will take us a few years before we are rid of their "workmanship" .

PS never get them to fit a dog flap it broke witin one week and we had to get our own.

Dunraven: Money first, quality second

very pushy with their sales tactics and for a full payment before the work is finished, yet once we had problems popping up they were nowhere to be seen apart from an answering machine.

Such a shame considering after everything was finished, their work is quite good. Just remember to keep them on their toes so they don't give you the cold shoulder like they gave my mother!

Overpriced product, make sure you know exactly what you want before you start, negotiate your price upfront as they will want all the money before they start. Aftersales Service is appalling and very slow. Arranged appointment not met with no communication from company. You will spend hours on the phone! Company based in Wales, they should stay in Wales as I believe they have overstretched themselves. I would not recommend them. Use a local company, you will get more satisfaction and face to face contact.

Initially we were pleased with the raised conservatory extension built onto our property to replace an old conservatory. Unfortunately, there have been ongoing issues with water ingress to the property over the years since it was built. Our old conservatory had no issues.

Repeatedly Dunraven contractors have tried to tell us it is an issue with our roof. We have had independent roofers out to check the roof and confirm there are NO ISSUES on two separate visits. We have made Dunraven aware of this and it is extremely frustrating that their contractors continue to try and place the blame on our property and not the changes they have made to it.

Dunraven have responded in good time every time we contact them. However, the contractors keep attempting fixes which are unsuccessful and the water damage continues to affect the join between our original property and new extension. Currently we have to employ buckets to catch drips whenever it rains.

Had we known this would be the case, we would have seriously reconsidered our decision to make changes to our property.

Had a conservatory fitted last October & am still waiting for them to come & correct problems.
The floor needed to be dug up twice.
There is still damp coming in through the wall, paint is bubbling & rust stained
A loose drain pipe & badly fitting internal fixtures.
Wouldn t recommend these clowns to anyone. Steer clear & avoid disappointment!

I was approached by a sales rep during the Christm...

I was approached by a sales rep during the Christmas period whilst in a shop and although I said that I was busy he was reluctant to let me go, so I filled in a form saying I required a quote for a door. Big mistake. I was inundated with calls from Dunraven sales reps. Even though I said I had relatives over the Christmas period they were asking me to place an appointment. I did not and then avoided picking up the phone, also blacklisting the number. I started getting calls from different mobile numbers, and although I said I didn't have the money to buy at the moment, their sales tactics is to get an appointment at all costs. They ask questions as to whether you have a partner or are alone in the house which, to me, is already very suspicious to say the least. So I decided to ring the company directly to inform them of this and to see whether the calls were really originating from their company. The person who got my call said she would transfer me to the sales team instead of helping me by giving me the reassuring answer that the person who was calling me from a mobile number was indeed their sales rep. She then promptly hung up on me. Second time around I rang I decided that I would not go along with the appointment and said I was cancelling for all the reasons above. Once again the second person said she was putting me through to the sales team and hung up on me. Third time round, I was given the same answer so I said that I was not going to be transferred again and needed the cancellation to be put in immediately and my details removed from their system. It was only then that this person complied to my request, at least unless I find an unwanted visitor on my doorstop at the scheduled appointment time!
Dunraven, once a person shows reluctance to set appointments and you see that your calls are not being replied to or the phone number is blocked, please instruct your sales team not to ring that particular person from several different numbers. It is highly irritating and puts people on edge. I would have been a genuine customer once I actually would have needed a quote. Not anymore.

I ve decided to finally post this review after bei...

I ve decided to finally post this review after being hounded by their reps every time I pass their stand at McArthur Glen. (And before you respond with in order to get new business we must proactively seek it out etc , you could maybe get new customers based on a good reputation and word of mouth, as other local companies seem able to do).
I was approached by a sales rep at said stand late last year, shortly after moving into my house. I agreed to a short visitation by one of their sales reps as I knew the property could do with some upgrading in the way of new windows and doors and I had starting comparing quotes from other companies. I had not read any reviews on this company prior to their attendance and as such, went into this consultation with an open mind. The salesman that arrived at my house was smartly dressed, but smelt very strongly of smoke and the smell was still there long after he left.
We discussed what I wanted for the windows and doors, different styles etc. Considering I was looking at the most basic types of all designs selected, the price drawn up by this salesman was astronomical, and it was made quite clear what type of sales pitch this was going to be. I said quite clearly that I didn t want to agree anything today and that I was going to look around for prices, and was met with a pushy and outdated sales technique of this is a limited offer, we can offer you X price or it will jump up to X price unless you choose today . This has never washed with me and I fail to understand how this ever works for companies that employ this technique as it turns the customer off immediately. I declined his offer, at which point I was met with we re the biggest company in the southwest, and I m a relative of the owner, we make a million a week you know , as if to say, well we don t need your business anyway. This brash and bragging comment was the nail in the coffin for me, and I politely said that I had all I needed and that I had to get on with my evening.
It was at this point, unbelievably, that he started to try and make conversation about my living situation and job, about me living by myself and if I m the only woman in my job. Not only is this highly inappropriate and unprofessional, but I d made it quite clear that our meeting was over and he instead thought he could sit there and ask ridiculous questions. Funnily enough, I never received a proper copy of my quote, and when their customer services team rang a week or so later asking for feedback on how the consultation went, I was very honest with them. Think they were a bit surprised.
Very glad I did not trust them with upgrading my home.

This company uses cold callers on elderly people. Charge exorbitant prices. They are lovely to you until there is a problem. My brother in law had a conservatory built in November last year and had recurrent leaks ever since, after numerous calls and calling out to fix the problem 4 times, I called them to report it again, was told twice I would be called back and no call so I contacted them again and was told the person had left for the day. After showing I was not happy I had a call from a "lady" called Emma who was obnoxious and argumentative and in need of customer training. I had to put the phone down on her in the end because was getting nowhere. Avoid this firm. Do not use.

I asked for an idea of cost to replace one bay window with triple glazing, but only needed a rough idea initially. The guy I spoke to said he couldn't give me any rough estimate without seeing the property. Which I knew was rubbish but I thought that's going to be the standard answer who ever I ask. So I played along but simply stated I wanted a low key visit and no pestering phone calls.
I've had 5 phone calls in 20 hours and they would only offer to make an appointment if both myself and my wife we're present. For an estimate? Ridiculous! I've asked for my details to be deleted.
