Excellent establishment for live music. You know you're in good hands when Glen greets you upon entering. Not only does he make it a great night he makes fantastic cocktails!

My husband and I have attended numerous shows over the past several years and Nissis's is by far our favorite music venue for live music in Boulder County!. All of the bands are very professional and highly talented. We love the remodel and the larger dance floor. The food is always excellent and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is uplifting and fun - always a good time! The staff and owner are always accommodating, pleasant and professional. We highly recommend Nissi's!

Oldies all the time? This place used to be a cool place. Now it is a subsidiary of the AARP.

Such a fun venue. Great band, Stones/Beatles Tribute band. A dance down memory lane.

Ever since they renovated 4 or 5 years ago, it's a great place for your function, wedding, or to see an intimate show. Marc, the owner, is a super cool dude. Very personable, and cares about the customers.

I saw Funk knuf here and they were awesome. Good venue. Good food!

This is the best place for mature adults to listen to music in Boulder County! Otherwise, your choice is to go rub shoulders with the college kids... now you know the difference! The music selection varies so that every taste is represented throughout any month. I particularly like it when they have 80's bands play. You can reserve a table and order food. That gives you a place to hold your things while you shake it on the dance floor with your friends... VERY FUN and very local. We come here for a night of dancing, or to enjoy the bar out front. Note that if you come to the bar out front you don't pay the cover... but you don't get the dance floor either!

Excellent entertainment! Dinner was pricey. 1 burger, appetizer, 4 mixed drinks was almost $70.00... our server was very good!

I had a surprise birthday party for my husband on a Saturday afternoon at Nissi's. It was a great venue for the event, and Mark, the owner and the staff were very helpful. Mark had some good suggestions about the event. He came early so I could put up decorations. The screens around the facility were great for a picture show of the honoree. We only had about 30 people, so we had plenty of space. People were wowed by this venue. Thanks Nissi's!

Great food, good prices and a whole lotta dancin' fun with good peeps! We saw The Nacho Men (Great Band) and the venue was so accommodating! We'll be back (soon) for more!

A great night out with good food at a fair price and fabulous music! Nelson Rangell and his other musicians were incredible!

It's a good venue for seeing live music but the food quality was a dissapointment. I'd expect a pretty good burger for $12, it was over-done, dry, no where near the quality or size of a burger at Oskar Blues or The Pumphouse in Longmont. Fries were shoestring fries. :-( I'll go back for the entertainment but will be eating dinner elsewhere.

Went for the first time and saw Knot Rock. Great band. Not too big. Super friendly staff. Fun. What a great find in Lafayette.

Great entertainment, really outstanding gourmet food at reasonable prices, and a wonderful, warm cozy environment. Excellent, friendly service, and the best sound man in the business.

Nissi's is a great place to go for date night, a girls' night out, or any special occasion. They bring in a good variety of musical acts, so there's something for everyone. The scene is unpretentious and welcoming; I have made good friends there. And the shrimp franchesco is to die for! My only criticism is that the dance floor is a bit small to accomodate big crowds, but that's a problem only occasionally. There's no place I'd rather go for a fun night out!

This venue has a nice atmosphere--a great place for a dinner date, dancing, or a fun evening with friends. However, that's only when they stick to reserved seating. Beware of evenings when they open it up for both reserved and general admission tickets; that s when the atmosphere changes from classy to overly crowded and claustrophobic. The food is good but not great. There aren t very many entree choices and each of them is on the pricey side for the portion size. Drinks are also on the expensive side. However, the deserts are exceptionally good and the sweet potato fries get a thumbs up. Wait staff are very pleasant, but the owner can be difficult.

Fantastic FACE performance. Good food. Good service.

Attended professional luncheon meeting. Buffet lunch was great with salmon, chicken picatta, tofu stir fry, vegetables, salad, brownies and cookies. Staff is always friendly and provide excellent service.

4 of us went for a FACE appearance in May. Venue is ok, pretty basic. Our issue was food. We were really hungry. 2 out of 4 meals were terrible. Let me say it was a full house but we were one of the first to get our food order in. Nissis house burger requested med. I think the hamburger patty was from the night before. Pre cooked, dry, over done by a mile. Cold fries. 2nd meal chicken parm. Chicken as tough as nails dry overdone. Pasta over cooked as well. All tasteless. The crowning issue for the night was the condescending attitude of the waitress. Sent the burger back yet she still wanted to charge the full $14 for the meal. Alcoholic drinks were small, watered down, and overpriced. There was a very large table next to us probably 15 plus people from 1 family. They had several main course food issues as well sending several plates back and long heated discussions with their server. This place tries to play good food and service and they fall so short. Would not recommend.

Love this venue. Good food, dance music, great service. Great for people who like to dine and dance and get home early enough to get up for work the next morning.

Good food and service. However, the stage was too small for the performing group we came to hear.

This place is amazing! I came here about 4 weeks ago with my boyfriend and we danced to some oldies! My food was great (I got the fajitas). However, I'm only giving it 4 stars. I was here tonight, and the music was way too loud for my ears - vibrations running through my body, and the food I got this time (the steak with vegetables and fries on the ride) was way too chewy, tasteless (except for the fries) and there was more fat than meat. In my opinion, it wasn't worth the $14.

I dont like pizza but this place changed my taste , I love them here

Nissi's offers some of the best local entertainment. The food is much better than the average bar food and the were on point. We enjoy the times with family vs the college bars in Boulder.

Gr8 venue.
Club Layout kinda like a comedy club but way more room.
Probably a Gr8 space to hold an event.
The band was awesome.

We went for a 40th birthday party and some 80's cover band performed. The band and their singers were very talented. We were the youngest group there (30's & 40's) but everyone was super friendly and nice. We didn't eat but the drinks were good

We recently had my daughter's wedding and dinner at Nissi's with 130 guests. The venue was perfect for a relaxed, fun evening. Mark was helpful planning our even and so easy to work with. The food was great.

Food is pretty good, drinks are fun, and the atmosphere is quaint for a concert venue.

Tons of great bands, high energy, and lots of fun to be had at Nissis. This place is intended to offer quality entertainment, light fare and tasty drinks! It is super reasonably priced and the main selling point is certainly the atmosphere and good music.

The food is tasty but you have to know what to order...my suggestions:

goat cheese salad (perfect size app)
steak salad (light but satiating)
shrimp franchesco (perfectly cooked shrimp and buttery/winey goodness)
stuffed mushrooms (filling but easy to eat a few and then boogie)
warm beet and sweet potato stacks (don't have to be a vegetarian to like this one)
tenderloin (order rare)

Another tip - be laid back about when your food arrives, if you tell them to just bring it out once it's ready, then your food will be fresh, hot and tasty. This place isn't a fancy shmancy sit down restaurant where you can demand perfect timing and coordination - the point is to eat, dance, drink and be merry - but it is classy, so no jeans ;)

I have been to this place tons over the past two years and you can feel the love from the staff and owner - it's definitely a great and different way to spend a weekend night or even week night out with a group of people or even just your significant other! Depending on the band playing, some nights are really mellow and it's lovely to simply order a bottle of wine and a couple of desserts to share.

I will continue to go here and hope that others find the same appreciation for this unique spot!

The venue is awesome! Drinks were a bit on the pricey side but when you've got live music it is worth it to us. We went on the 3rd Thursday, which was Dueling Piano night and had a great time. We will definitely be going back and shout out to Glenn at the bar!

First time ever coming here! Saw the Jersey boys and I absolutely loved it!!!! Had an amazing time, great food, and got to dance with my girlfriend! I love this place, and am looking forward to visiting again!

Wonderful laid back venue. Fun atmosphere. Delicious dinner, good wine selection. Waitstaff is exceptional. And the live music is excellent, it's really nice that we can sit down while we enjoy the show. 2 thumbs up!

Nice small entertainment venue, much improved with the expansion. Reasonably priced good food (limited menu), great staff, excellent sound, lights, production values.

Nissi's is always fun. There's a lively crowd of elderly people who dance and have a great time. The food is fine. The music is always good. My only complaint is the water. It is horrible. It is full of chemical flavors and odors. Avoid it by buying their bottled water or drink some beer.

Our friends got married there and it was great. They have a nice outdoor event space and the catering was just fine.

Upscale and fun. NOT your boring restaurant and NOT a dirty venue. Great for big parties or a date. Because the venue/restaurant is atypical have a good attitude because it gets really busy and high energy.

Nissi s is one our favorite places to hear live music! The club showcases local, talented musicians from the up-and-coming bands to those with a Colorado-and-beyond presence. Music lovers can enjoy a variety of styles, depending on your personal preferences, including blues, jazz, pop, rock, and r&b. This is not a typical bar; shows start early and the volume is controlled. You can sit enjoy the music at your candle-lit table or dance all night long. In addition, Nissi s menu offers a variety of delicious appetizers, entrees and desserts as well as wines, beers and specialty cocktails to suit your tastes. This is a jewel in the heart of Lafayette! Celebrate a special occasion with a loved one or group of friends, or make Nissi s a regular stop most any night of the week.

Love this place. Only thing that's a drag is how often they sell out! But for their sake I'm glad that's happening!

If you like the bar scene and the creepers crowding you this is the place for you

Music was good but my salmon was totally burnt in one side. Food is not great and drinks are nothing more than OK.
