I have windows and a back door fitted in Oct 2019.
My back door is now not shutting as it should with the result that I have to slam the door to close it. I rang the company on the 23 May 2023 and was informed that I was in a queue for a ring back that would take up to 8 days.

Don't waste your money. Firstly it took them a year before they actually came out and fitted our large window and when they did come it was a sub-contractor who clearly takes zero pride in his work. They have no inspector who comes out to approve the work afterwards. You are forced to pay once the window is installed even if you are not happy with the work and once you've paid then that's it!

Our window was installed with damaged handles and no keys. My husband had to call them to chase what was happening because they won't call you. The "work" was completed on the 17 April yet we are still waiting on keys and have been told that the new handles will only be done on the 10 May. Its just excuse after excuse which is commonly that the person is sick. I've called to ask if an inspector should be coming but keep getting told someone will call me back which of course has not happened.

Our window was left dirty with smudges all over it as well as little pieces of dry cement which we also found along the sides of the wall and our floors because they don't put anything down on your floors to protect them. They don't sweep or hoover any of the mess and they also don't care for your belongings or property as they uncovered a section of our 4k custom leather couch to put things on.

The lining for the windows is shody and clearly done in a rush. The metal bar is clearly visible, their "final" cement work is uneven and done lazily. All the finishings are shocking, I have loads of pictures.

Don't waste your time and money with a company that doesn't care about their clients. We even told the sales guy, Jeff Howell, that we want all of our windows replaced so you'd think that was incentive enough for them to do a good job but clearly not.

The installer did not provide a satisfaction note nor have we received a FENSA certificate.

Sales man did a great job selling the company and their service. They wouldn’t put a spade in the ground with ALL the checks etc being carried out was his exact works!
Signed up to an orangery as the cost were reasonable.

Dunraven sent in the surveyor and all was good to go.

The skip arrived on the day they were due to start work, but the workmen started 4 days later. After a couple of hours they stopped and said they could not continue. Dunraven had made a mistake and then tried to charge me another £10,000 to finish the work. As I wasn’t prepared to pay this they left my garden in a mess, refunded the deposit a couple of weeks later.

Yes you have refunded my deposit, but I am still out of pocket with the furniture and flooring I had ordered I have lost deposits for these. You were not interested in this and left my garden in a mess!
Your survey should have highlighted the foundation requirements and as per you salesman’s speech. Dunraven knew the developers sites as you work with all of them and know the site. Absolute B/S.
It makes me wonder if I was to pay the additional cost what else would have been added on? It was not a case of being in my budget or not!

This firm has been constantly harassing me for over a year with phone calls anytime during the day or night you block one number and then they ring you off another number would never buy any thing from them a week after they promised to take my number off their callers list I received yet another call from a new number harassing me they are worse than the international unknown numbers

The first installer we had was a young lad and did a good job with 4 windows and a front door.so like fools we went back for more. The installers weren't too bad bit slap happy but the service manager must be non existent as he never answers or returns a call. Their after care service has got to be the worst I have ever come across. They want your thousands of pounds but anything goes wrong they don't wish to correct it. Never touch this company if you want good service. They don't even deserve one star . But had to put one just so I could post these comments

We have used Dunraven Windows for all of our window/Conservatory improvements,to say we are over the moon is an understatement, from the Managers through to the workers they are very professional and friendly.When leaving the job its like they never visited except for the fact that we have our new amazing windows.

Over priced, was able to negotiate the price down by 40% off. Customer service lacks a lot. They sure do call you a ton to get your business, but once you've paid up and you hit them up asking for something good luck getting a response back. Will not use again.

Charged my 84 year old Mother just under 2k for a basic front door and replacement glass for 2 misted windows !!( unknown to me at the time) she reluctantly paid in full prior to completion and several months on is stilling awaiting the glass replacement. Only found this out today so contacted them direct to justify cost and appalling service, Nobody has got back to me yet with regards the extortionate price surprise, surprise.
They have also been trying to pressure sell her a new back door, like that s going to happen.
MY ADVICE LEAVE WELL ALONE, SHOCKING SERVICE AND OVER 3 TIMES THE PRICE !!!!

Very decent windows and doors... We've had a problem with the front door which they have happily fixed.

They have called us asking if we have any more work a few times now, even though it was plainly obvious that our house can have no more done to it, hence the loss of a star.

We are absolutely thrilled with our new Orangery from Dunraven. The sales consultant that came out helped us see the potential that could be achieved and transformed our visions into amazing designs. Then the building teams arrived and Wow!, we have had workmen in before but never seen such polite and clean hard workers ever. They had consideration for both us and our neighbours when using our shared drive. Then at the end of every day left things as clean and tidy as possible when building!! Everything from start to finish was carried out with such care and precision. Builders, plasterers, window and door fitters each and every one was fabulous. Cannot thank Dunraven enough for the beautiful work they have done on our home and have already recommended them to our friends and neighbours. We will definitely be using them again in the future

I was lucky enough to win an online competition for new doors and windows 1st March 2019. It has now been a month and half and installation is complete. What a smooth running operation from start to finish. Surveyor, photographer, administration staff all liaised with myself, my landlord and his scretary with a professional manner and service! The fitters were efficient and friendly...and clean and tidy - I've never seen dust sheets so clean!!! All rubbish removed each day they were here.
Fitted articles are a brilliant standard and of a clean finish - I am really impressed with everything and would defo recommend their services to anyone and everyone

Its not possible to give no stars the company lie to get you to sign there paper work they promise you can cancel without charge this is all so a lie there sales team turn up late in the evening and pressure you to buy there products Ryan Draper come round our house and fed us a load of lies i would advice never to buy from this company

Very strange and sexist approach to sales. Despite having a salesman round for over half an hour, they refused to give me a quote because my partner wasn't in the same room for the whole of the sales presentation; even though I own the property! Apparently I need a male chaperone to be given a quote for new doors! I've now gone elsewhere, and would recommend AONE in Swansea, very reasonably priced and professional.

Awful, absolutely awful. Poor fitting, bad to non existent customer service.

Holes in Cement, silicon missing, silicon to re-attach old mortar, doors didn't fit correctly even the rep from FENSA thought it was shocking and didn't provide a certificate. Some windows were not fitted with the correct glass and a 20mm gap underneath one of the windows for the length of the window.

Had fitters out twice now (eventually) and although better the second attempt, I am still very unhappy with the level of service.

To top it all when I complained one of the managers even argued with me. I have used extra gas especially in this one of the longest winters for some time, and they don't want to know.

Just had a cold caller from Dunraven windows, he sounded to have subject knowledge and was cheerful, I wanted a replacement conservatory roof however when I checked the company out on line, I saw the bad reviews, and oh dear, I am afraid they wont be getting my custom after all.

Had a re-think after they contacted me again and arranged a visit for a quote, I was told I had the 11am appointment, after 25 to 30 minutes after 11am and having had no contact from the rep I went out as it was my only day off.

I returned later and had a missed call from them, I contacted the office and was told that the rep had called at 11.15am but got no reply, very odd as I was stood on my driveway working on my car between 11.05am to 11.25am. needless to say that I wont be using the company after all.

Once they have your details you are constantly bombarded with phone calls constantly trying to sell you stuff you already had done. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

Arrogant salesman called to our house today, despite us having a polite notice asking salesman not to call as we don't wish to be disturbed. He even had the nerve to compliment us on the sticker. If we had wanted windows we definitely would not buy off someone who insisted on shouting the length of the garden. Not a good first point of contact for your firm !!!

We have had nothing but grief with our conservatory, which is still leaking 6 years after installation. We have tried to resolve this with Dunraven, but customer service and aftercare is poor in my experience. Really disappointed.

Our conservatory was built in March. We are absolutely thrilled with it. Weather was inclement (to say the least) throughout much of the process. But in spite of snow and rain, the crews kept to schedule, made as little mess as was humanly possible under such conditions, finished exactly on time and did a fabulous job. It was completed in the promised three weeks, which has amazed other people. If you want cheap doors and windows by all means go chasing a few dollars off the price and probably have to get the job done again in a few years. If you want a quality job, that you won't have to replace before due time, use Dunraven. They are replacing our back door shortly and had I windows requiring changing, I wouldn't bother looking for other quotes. Excellent product, excellent service, excellent crews - what on earth more could you ask for?

These people knocked our door years ago and asked if they could give us a quote and my husband gave them his mobile number. He has since told them that we are not interested numerous times but they continue to bombard him with calls for the past few years. Each time they call he blocks the number but they then start phoning off another number.

I would avoid any sort of contact with this company !

Fortunately I was wise enough not to do business with Dunraven. Unfortunately, I made this decision after giving them my mobile contact details to discuss a potential piece of work. Since then I have had to suffer at the hands of their pushy sales people who have hounded me with months of phone calls, often multiple times a day but certainly multiple times a week. All of their numbers have since been blocked and under no circumstances will I entertain doing business with them. I would advise anyone who is thinking of providing Dunraven with their contact details to think twice. I cannot comment on the quality of their workmanship, but their motivations are clear, they want your money and they will hound you to try and get it!

Had a salesman cold call at my house yesterday evening, at dinner time. He happened to arrive when I was accepting a Chinese delivery and despite noting my dinner he still stuck around. Once he asked if I'd consider a conservatory or extension I said no because we only moved in a year ago, baring in mind I'm only 25 and for all he knows renting the place. My response was "not for a few years, no." like a good 5-10 years before we'll even consider it, but he still asked for my details to give us a quote. I was preoccupied with not letting my cat escape and juggling Chinese food in on hand that I humoured him and gave him my boyfriends phone number, and corrected his presumption about my marital status. Later that evening my boyfriend got 2 missed calls from dunraven (only knew it was them from googling the number as no message was left) because he didnt want to answer. This morning he gytundeb another missed call and then decided to answer the 4th call where they assumed he was my husband again, only for him to have a go at them for the physical cold calling salesman not listening to what I'd said about not getting a conservatory for several years.

I live in a new build development of about 150 houses and in the last year we've had a couple of local tradesmen advertising their services, but they take no for an answer and that's that. In just a couple of hours last night this guy probably spoiled a lot of people's evenings. I'm really disappointed and frustrated by dunraven's sales tactics, especially since it's 2018 and it wasn't a one-off, judging from their other reviews.

I would like to say that we've had a large conservatory built not just once but 3 times due to sinking foundations, this last time it has taken nearly 6 months where during the summer my Children couldn't use the garden. Our kitchen which was in the conservatory Dunraven wouldn't put it in storage and because of this it it got damaged and they didn't xare less about it.we were also all crammed into our dining room with everything we had in the conservatory. We have tried to speak to the management who will not answer our calls or even return our calls. We've tried to ask for compensation because this is now the third build and feel that our feelings have not been considered at all. I do hope people read these reviews because if you do then please Do Not use them. STAY AWAY

Unfortunately I opened my front door this evening at 620pm in Weston super mare on 3/12/2018 to a young man who on saying he was from Dunraven, was told politely "no thank you", however he continued to tell me his range of services, to which I repeated "no thank you".

He then walked down my drive muttering something like I was missing out , I challenged him what he was he saying, and then from a distance of some 20 yards proceeded to shout at me that I was rude to him as I did not even let him say anything to me.

That's my point, I had my privacy interrupted by this young man, the reason I know of Dunraven is that people representing this company have visited me over 6 times in the last four years, so I know what is coming.

1. I never purchase anything from cold callers
2. I take umbrage that this young man feels that I am duty bound to enter into any conversation with him, he is on my property.
3.As I told two of my neighbours who were visited by other men at the same time, do not consider buying anything from such a company , especially someone as petulant as this young man.

4. Finally do not visit my home again, you are not welcome or required and for information I have replaced:

Conservatory/All windows with triple glazing/Replaced all exterior
doors including a quality front door/Garage door/All guttering and
soffits.

I even had to give a star as this format will not let me post anything without a star, it sums it all up.

After a jolly greeting asks g how I was I politely responded I didn't appreciate the calls on a Sunday and asked for our number to be removed from their list. He didn't respond but hung up. They did a good job of our windows, have had a few problems with the stable door, but sent out people to correct this, my gripe is with the constant pressure from Sales people at one time 7pm on a Sunday Evening! Don't chase away the sales Dunraven it's too much.

Would avoid - terrible service!

Had a quote over a week ago for an orangery. We were happy-ish with the approximate price and explained we wanted an itemised, written quote for our mortgage provider so we knew the exact cost and how much to we needed to borrow.

Well they disappeared off the face of the earth after that! Obvious to me they didnt want to put anything in writing so once theyve started the work they can put the price up and add on extras!! Called them twice asking for our quote to be emailed basically saying yes we'll go ahead and I kept getting transferred to different people having to repeat myself over and over with the final person saying I'll take you name and number and get back to you -low and behold they didnt!!

Have since had someone else out today - MPN - highly recommend. Wrote up an itemised quote and printed it there and then.

Dunraven = scammers!!

It pains me to even give a 1 star BUT THERE IS NO OPTION FOR A 0. I would not under any circumstance recommend Dunraven Windows. I had 9 new windows installed by them in May and this turned into possibly the worst decision I have EVER made! I can t go into full detail or this review would be never ending so I will summaries. We were visited by Dean a sales rep who informed us that we would be purchasing "Superior" windows not available elsewhere, he told us that it would take 4 skilled employees (employed by Dunraven) 2 days to fit and that (and I quote) "the house would be left cleaner than they found it"... he also gave us a "one night only price" why oh why did I believe this, in hindsight I feel such a fool but he was very convincing! Around 6 weeks later 2 men turned up to fit the windows (yes 2 men not 4) they informed me that it would be a 1 day job and they would be done in no time - alarm bells started ringing but they were very friendly and reassuring so I sat in the garden and waited. The windows were hammered out without any care (I have an old Victorian house) as you can imagine leaving an awful mess. All windows were in by 5pm that day - Friday. At this point I could have cried the mess left was appalling, it took me and my husband over 2 hours to clean it and weeks later we were still finding small bits of sealant and UPVC. The installation was extremely poor and I now had UPVC trim EVERYWHERE - not the "superior" look I was promised. Anyway... after a lengthy battle and numerous letters and calls (and a visit from the installation director) indicating I would seek legal action I finally had the issue rectified (not perfect but better than it was and tbh I couldn t take anymore) and compensation (although small) to allow me to decorate the rooms that had been damaged. My advice if you have been unlucky enough to trust this company GET LEGAL ADVICE! My advice to potential customers DO NOT DO IT.

A salesperson cold called us even though we were on the telephone preferencing service and claimed to be from a firm called Dunraven Home Improvements, and that all my neighbours were having free quotes done (despite most of the buildings either being listed or already in the throes of building works). We arranged to make an appointment for the following day, he then pushed and pushed for more quotes for more work and I asked if they did trade discounts as my husband was a builder! I then waited for the follow up call who didn't seem to know where we were or what we had requested and then said they would only come out at a time when my husband could be there, (like I didn't know what I was talking about) also what if I didn't have a husband!? They are now refusing to come and quote. Bully boy tactics me thinks and I would touch them with a bargepole.

This company keeps sending sales representatives to my house even though I previously made it quite clear on several occasions that they are not welcome on my property. Any company desperate enough for sales that they think committing trespass is an acceptable way to conduct business is a company I'd recommend to avoid at all costs.

Edit: In reply to Emma's reply, I am already on your "Do not knock" list, however, once again the canvassers admitted they had not been given a copy of this list and were just calling at every house anyway. I'm sure you knew this fact when you wrote your answer. Not giving a copy of the list to your canvassers is not following industry guidelines, or conducting your business in a professional manner, whatever you claim.

UPDATE AUGUST 2020: Window has cracked due to not using toughened glass and being too tightly packed into frame. Dunraven not interested in paying for replacement.
After-sales and snagging are bad. Don't expect a lot of help once it's up!

Rude, aggressive tradesmen. Had to be reminded a number of times to follow the terms of planning conditions.
The three tradesmen involved became very aggressive and used extreme derogatory terms (c@@t) when told that access was walking access only.
Although we were not the Customer their attitude and pack mentality behaviour gives cause for concern.

Had a sales person call to our house to offer us a new front door. Our house is only 4 years old! Said this was not something we needed as our current door was more than fit for purpose. Guy left a leaflet and a card and said should we change our mind to get in touch. This was in August 2017. Since this time we have had a barrage of calls from their sales team continually offering us great prices on a new door! I have asked them numerous times to remove our details from their database but they keep calling. Most recent call was today 4th Feb 2018. This company has aggressive sales tactics which may work on some people but not me I'm afraid!

Recently had our external doors replaced by Dunraven. We chose this company after having a very good experience with their splendour conservatory which we are extremely pleased with.
On both projects we were constantly kept informed, had visits from Gareth the area manager to ensure the work was to our satisfaction. The Workmen were always polite and courteous and mess was kept to a minimum.
We did experience an issue, but this was professionally dealt with and swiftly rectified by Michelle in the office who we liaised with and again we were kept informed of the progress to put things right to our satisfaction.
We would recommend Dunraven and would chose to use them again.

I had not used Dunraven before! They had been recommended by a friend. I arranged for a rep to come out to price me on 2 windows and a door. The salesman that arrived was very nice and professional. I had the Work fitted 7 weeks later was very happy with the quality of the product, will definitely use the company again

The Tele sales don't listen. Good job I was here (her daughter) when the manager rang to confirm. I immediately cancelled the appointment. Please stop brow beating older people. We neither need not have room for a conservatory.

Had amazing quality bi fold doors to lounge this September together with insulated tiled type roof on one conservatory to replace polycarbonate roof burnt with last year's fireworks landing from somewhere. Last year replaced other conservatory roof with heat retaining blue glass. The workmen on all jobs have been brilliant & fantastic on the cleaning up before leaving. Had a problem with ceiling fan I had fitted when glass roof installed & they got it sorted for me. Would not go to any other company as I've had past problems with 2 other firms so speak as u find! WELL DONE DUNRAVEN. Brennan -Mckelvay.

Dunraven built us a new conservatory about 5 years ago and did a fabulous job. We love it. Each job was done efficiently. Nothing went wrong. The men were polite and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Later, they also put new glass in our front door with a beautiful leaded pattern. We are now thinking of having new front windows with them in the Autumn. Well done Dunraven. They have never "hounded us" on the phone.

A lesson to be learned. Don't engage with door to door salesmen without looking at these reviews first. Sadly we did just that in May and agreed a sale. Fitting was promised for early July then cancelled. Promised again for August and again cancelled. We are still waiting! Dunraven claimed to be canvassing my part of Wiltshire to expand their sales region. Wiltshire beware!

Disappointed, thought you guys were better than this, I cant comment on the quality and standard of work, but the pressure sell to my elderly parents is close to criminal. 4 phone calls, each one with my parents saying, "No, Thank you" resulted in a house call this evening........but i answered the door! Give your telesales staff a flat wage and not performance related pay, perhaps they wont bully themselves into our family's homes

Very professional company with experienced, expert installers. The fitters were courteous and conscientious of our property. Attention to detail and finish was impeccable. We have used Dunraven on several projects and intend to use them again in the future.

Conservatory 32m built 2011 with experienced men who knew their job. Obviously there were minor problems but always sorted. End result superb. Have had Dunraven back to extend conservatory and connect house to garage. 2016 . As always, the men are pleasant and polite. If the customer takes time to engage with the workmen, you get a much better experience. The build part of Dunraven is a completely different professional outfit to the sales team.. Just get a few quote from others and be prepared to pay a premium for a premium product. Very pleased.

Called me from a landline and I ignored the call. Then called me from a mobile I answered and said I wasn't interested they called me from a private number so I asked to be removed from their mailing list. Have persistently called me from an unknown number every day since!

I found that the service from ordering to installation was very quick, but I had a problem with scratching on about six of the window panes, after chasing for two days I managed to get a date for them to come out and check the problem; yes you guessed it I have to wait over 3 weeks before some one will come and check on the problem. so very quick to get my money but not as quick to sort out any problem. Barry who installed the windows and door did an excellent job of work.

Absolutely disgusting company!! Do not touch. Pushy sales people, I agreed that I wanted a front door and I would of bought one but because my boyfriend wasnt available they wouldnt come out to quote. I explained it was MY house and MY decision and having my boyfriend there is a waste of time but they still wouldnt agree. Then they came round again and I explained I wouldnt ever use them now anyway. The next Day a Manager rang me to basically argue why they have this policy. Pure DISCRIMINATION and disgusting customer service. Ive heard nothing but bad things about them.

Received another unwanted sales call today after asking them to remove me from their database TWICE before. This means the sales people not only lied to me but also Dunraven have been illegally holding my personal data as per GDPR. I threatened to report them to the ICO (UK data protection governing body) if it happens again, but to be honest, seeing the myriad negative reviews alluding to the aggressive and improper sales tactics they employ, I may report them anyway and suggest others do the same if you continue to receive cold calls against consumer instruction.

Have just had windows fitted today(Friday 13th) and I m not at all impressed. 2 cracked windows and the wrong side panel. Glue is visible on front door as well. Their customer service is a disgrace.

Extremely poor after sales broadening on rude, when there is a problem they will do everything in there power to fob you off. I had a conservatory built with a rear free standing cavity wall, it looked fine until it rained. The capping stones and lead flashing was there for show the rain poured in, could l get them to even come out NO CHANCE all they would say it's the bricks drying out. In the end water came out of the power sockets and blow the fuses and l lost my temper over the phone. Two people finally came out one being a retired bricklayer within ten minutes said it was a total mess. All the capping stones had to be removed and correct lay of flashing and stone work. All the cavity insulation was trashed and due to weather there was no time to retify plus electric points replaced by me. It was truly hell that period and except for the retired bricklayer no body ever cared it all felt like you were being a nuisance. DON'T CONSIDER DUNRAVEN EVER.

Pressured my mum into signing the financial agreement on the first day of work. Things went wrong. Pieces didn't fit. No one cared because they had their money .I spent nearly every day on the phone trying to sort out a 2 day job which in the end took 4 weeks. The fitters were ok. Every one else was rude and uncaring. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Worst experience of a company of this sort ever. RUDE AND MONEY GRABBING.

Get phone calls from different numbers all the time trying to get me to purchase a conservatory and no obligation quote. I tell them every time that I am not and will not be looking into a conservatory in the next 12 month's. Yet the phone calls continue. I get advised that you will update your system but get told this everytime..

Latest call was tonight, a Sunday night at 7:30pm. This will not get you customers. Sales calls should not be allowed. Especially at this time. If I wanted a conservatory I would ring for quotes when I'm ready.

Pressurized sales teniques. They start with a high price then offer a lower price which is only available if you sign there and then on their first visit.
They have no roofing samples to show you. Ie We had a new Splendor solid conservatory roof to replace a solar glass roof.
Was told it would look like a leaded church roof and was given the impression it was a insulated aluminum roof which was then Plaster boarded inside and plastered.
It s NOT, It s polycarbonate sheets coloured to a dark slate colour. The rest of the description is correct. So still expensive for what it is!
Having been talked into having this done and then pressurized in to signing off the finance agreement when they said they had finished , I am now still waiting for them to finish the job off. They got paid by Hitachi finance the same afternoon I signed off the finance document even thought I purposely dated it for the next day!
If your thinking of having any work done by this company don t let them pressurize you and insist on seeing the product before hand. If they do not have it to show you tell them to
Leave and look elsewhere.

Cold call - one of many over the years - but this time we wanted a replacement front door - the previous had been damaged by an attempted break-in. The surveyor was with us quite quickly and did not "sell" - we got what we wanted, and it was fitted at our convenience several months after the original estimate was produced. Quality of workmanship was excellent - I can't believe some the dreadful comments made by previous customers here - ridiculous - they are a caring, and competent "family" company - would highly recommend them.

A lesson learned the hard way unfortunately - I needed a new front door and side panels and had several calls from Dunraven looking for business - they caught me in a good mood and arranged to come to price the job. The lady who came certainly did a good job and I had my door fitted promptly, in fact two weeks later. The price was a bit on the high side but I was assured I was buying a premium product so I thought you get what you pay for so must be good.... The door was fitted in February and in really bad weather to be fair but when we were able to inspect the work, the quality of the fitting was terrible. The frame hadn't been fixed properly and moved when the door was closing, the sealant was not only badly applied so it was all over the framework but also the wrong colour. Another fitter was sent to sort out the problem seemed to be shocked at the quality of the work as were we. He managed to stop the door frame moving seemed to be on a tight time scale so couldn't sort the rest of the problems. I have given up on ever getting the job corrected despite several conversations with Dunraven. 6 weeks ago, Luke from Dunraven called to ask whether we wanted more work carried out, I told him under no circumstances would I ever allow any further work to be carried out by this company on my home - he was very shocked and assured me we would have a call within a week to arrange for a further inspection and the problems to be rectified and guess what - nothing since. I can assure you, I'm not usually a complainer but a very annoyed customer. I have given up ever getting this resolved and will probably have to replace the door sooner rather than later. I really wish I had done research before letting this company into my home.
ps maybe a new tactic should be to contact them and say I need a new front door and side panel fitted and see what happens when they come - this time I'll be ready

Sales pressure tactics, unreasonable costing on the back of a cig packet!
Constant sales calls & missed calls even though have asked them to remove number from system.
Do not touch with a barge pole. insist on a home visit even to give you the budget figure. You're then offered a discounted "buy it now" price. No formal quotations were sent. even the buy it now price was about 3 times too high compared to other similar companies. Eugh, is it any wonder double glazing gets a bad name.
Also worth nothing the majority of 5 star reviews, are the reviewers only review. There are a lot of fake reviews out there, and Dunraven can still only manage 2 stars overall! says it all really.

On the whole we had a great experience with Dunraven. We had an existing conservatory re-done and a wall knocked down so that it is now part of the kitchen. What I liked particularly was the fact that although changes were inevitable along the way, the price never went up. They came back after the job, and after the bill was paid, with no questions, in order to finish off little bits, repair any damage they had caused and leave the place clean.

The main downside was just the fact that, being a large organisation, there were a lot of people involved, and we didn't always know who was coming back and who wasn't and when! Linked to this, it was clear that the workers were under time pressure to get the job finished whereas we were more bothered that they did a good job even if it took longer than expected. Thankfully that was the opinion of the men doing the work too! And the job was well done.

They constantly call despite being told to stop calling us and remove our number from their database. Even received a call tonight from them at 20:30. What company cold calls someone at that time. Nothing but problems with our front door they were supposed to be coming to fix it 3rd time,the door wasn't cheap,the last person that came asked if would like to change the design of door,,,NO we chose that one cos we liked it,yet again in all day waiting for a replacement front panel, if it had been done right in the first place we would not be here now,and guess what the person was coming between 1 and 5 ,we have just rang them and they want to ring back tomorrow, they arranged today's visit over a week ago.
We are at the stage where we will have that door out and get a different company to fit one,the house does not feel secure ,and I think we will be contacting trading standards, if we get broken into,or locked out it will be your fault entirely, Dunraven.
And what makes me laugh is they keep trying to sell us windows and a conservatory,, I DON'T THINK SO, DO YOU.
Do business close to home,this company operates from Wales and I don't think they will be coming back to Bristol now to do the job,its now 4:50, They also think we have nothing better to do all day but take time off from work.

I am now totally fed up with dunravon. Six years on and so many excuses later, my conservatory roof is still leaking! I am sick to death of being told it's condensation. Condensation does not pour through roof while it's raining. I'm sick to death of a repair man knocking on my door with his sealant gun already in his hand! Water is now pouring through under the eaves! Waiting nce again for them to "phone me back"!

It's a shame I have to give this company one star as they don't even deserve this.
Terrible customer service from sales representatives not returning your call to ridiculous sales tactics. We Have been messed about for months now and the day they are finally due to come and talk about our orangerie and talk about the price to get a better offer, they phone up and cancel saying there is nothing they can do to the price.
A terrible experience and I highly urge you to look else where. Really disappointed and whatever happened to these companies wanting your work and money? How they are in business is beyond me.

Our fitters Elliot and Ashley showed all their care and attention to the job in hand as well as to our home. The job was efficiently completed to an extremely high standard. We could not be more pleased with the way both the door and roof look. Would be happy to recommend to all.

If there was a zero I would give it to them. Windows and door have been installed for 2 years. In that time they have been out 20 plus times. Which yes agree final sorted the windows out. Now we have issues with the door which has let in the rain. They sort of half sorted the issue. But need to come out again. The Flooring is damaged and in time the skirting will rot. I now have to put a new complaint about it for the claim. Why should I so far I have nothing but issues. At the time the engineers came out I ask should they check the door. Please do not use this company. When you have questions they will not answer them.

Vulnerable people, beware this company. I was stopped at a local shop and I agreed for a rep to come out and give me a free quote for a conservatory roof, key word there, quote. The rep was indeed knowledgeable and the materials impressive, all I wanted was a quote, but he went on to say I needed a new door and windows and went on to proceed with paperwork and payments, I had to interupt him and that I had no intention of paying anything, yet he pushed me to put down a deposit on that day and if I didn't have money for a deposit, I could pay monthly, but I repeatedly had to state that I had other out goings to bare in mind before I could commit to another direct debit. I felt very vulnerable in my own home as he became stroppy with an aggressive tone in his voice, at that point I just wanted him to leave.
Dunraven, I believe you that you're a successful company for over 40 years, and now I see how.

When he was told I'll call you when and if ready that's when the abuse started.

Please avoid at all costs.

How stupid can they be! A telephone sales woman calls and wants to make an appointment to give a quotation for a front porch and so I agree but then she insists that my wife must be here. My wife is out of the country and therefore cannot be here. Aggressively she keeps insisting that my wife be here otherwise the will not give a quotation. How bloody stupid can these people be? I would give this Welsh outfit a miss and just get a local builder in to do the job.
