DPD Review

I'm very satisfied. The package arrived at the right time exactly as described. The deliverer asked if he should put it in the hallway because it was very difficult. I also managed ws but the question about it was very nice, especially at this time. Thank you very much dear deliverer!

Deliverer rang the doorbell twice in a row. Once is enough. Although I hurried to the door immediately, it was already gone (approx. 20 m to the next corner) when I got there. The package was torn open in several places. One of the inner small packages was also torn.

Rude staff !!! He wanted to put the parcel in the mailbox in the morning, too lazy to go to the 3rd floor and presses the parcel into my hand with an unfriendly face ...

The service is fantastic. Everything went well with both tracking and change. Great, thanks to the DPD I still got my package. Thank you very much.

I received my package earlier than expected. I liked that.

Package was supposedly delivered. I was at home, nobody rang the bell. After I received the notification, I looked outside: no package, no note in the mailbox.
Result: Delivered to a completely different street with a completely different house number and name and then signed by the driver in my name!

Next package: supposedly stored in the garage, but there is absolutely no evidence.

Zero service. After calling and repeatedly emphasizing in the chat that the symbol of the receiving address is not with me in the app, the package has now disappeared in a different location with a different postcode and house number.

Now it turned out that DPD simply took a different address than on the label.

Only the street name is the same: ZIP code, place and recipient name have been changed.

You can save yourself a call! It costs min. 20 cents to have someone with hardly any knowledge of German sitting at the other end, who answers every question with "Parcel is coming tomorrow".

I waited 3 days after the requested delivery date. On the 4th it disappeared.

DPD employees were not able to redirect to another address (only street and house number) or in a parcel shop. As well as creating a new desired delivery date. Whatever the reason.

The 2 times the DPD simply leaves the package outside. I have issued a parking permit for the garage. The first time the package was placed in front of the garage, not in the garage, so it was accessible to everyone. Deliverer rang the bell several times without coming up to us in the expectation that we would come down and then said that he would only hand over the package if my handicapped father came down (which of course was only possible with a lot of time and energy expenditure). Get a package again today via DPD. I had stated several times where the packages should be placed. My experience was perfect; Arrived earlier than expected (Saturday morning, I stupidly slept for a few minutes, but he rang long enough & waited, which I mentally registered only a few minutes after waking up xD) and then again directly on Monday at 9 a.m.

Dragged it to me on the third floor and the package was also completely undamaged or even scratched, which wouldn't have bothered me, but it is good handling, if you ask me.

What I like best about DPD;
You can live track the delivery van via the website IN REAL TIME and the "expected delivery time" adapted in real time to the varying routes of the driver.
At first it was 9:50 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. and the closer he got to my part of town, the more precise the time window was until finally 9:10 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Funnily enough, it came at 9:05 a.m., so it's not 100% precise, but it was even better in my favor.

DHL was initially my preferred supplier of choice, but the work from parcel station to parcel station in my area, which ultimately has a massive impact on the delivery time.

There was talk of 2-3 working days in the email from the online shop & DPD and it arrived - if I hadn't slept on Saturday - after one working day, whereby Saturday (as far as I know at least) is not even a working day .

I was really happy and if I have the choice, only DPD will deliver! The best service in my eyes and the live tracking in real time still fascinates me!

I'm 90% satisfied with DPD; the parcels arrive here on time and in good condition. The drivers are mostly stressed and in a hurry, but friendly nonetheless.
Of course there are exceptions and then you get particularly annoyed - "given to residents" without a name or someone rang the bell after 9:30 p.m. storm, so that the children were awake again. Does not work at all!

It is a very bad experience in DPD, I would never ever use this again

Two days before today's parcel delivery I received an email from DPD where it says which day (Saturday, April 11, 2020) and the period (between 9:06 a.m. and 10:06 a.m.) where I will receive the delivery. This Saturday, April 11th, my doorbell rang at 9:03 am. The messenger was actually there. Very friendly, he greets with a smile and at a distance as it should be at this time, he hands over, wishes a nice day ... so I had no experience before. Not a reliable shipping service provider. Takes a week to deliver a package. Nothing happens with complaints. Corona again and again as an excuse. Absolutely not to be recommended ....

Delivery parcel was dropped at the bottom by the main door entrance and we were at home to recieve the parcel in the 3rd floor. No notification was emailed/given to say it was left by the bottom of the elevator. When I went looking for it I found it and the parcel was damaged and opened. When I opened to check the parcel, one of the items was missing! This is not good service and trustworthy of the company. I am annoyed and angry from this experience. This is why I have to share this to allow the company to know and also track down this staff member and hopefully investigate into this issue.

Very fast and smooth delivery, nice driver, the 2 packages arrived in very good condition. You can't complain!

Driver did not ring the bell, even though we were at home, simply left the delivery in the place that was more convenient for him. As always, we are not used to anything else from DPD drivers.

We had order a parcel from Czech Republic deliver to Nurnberg, Germany.
BUT!!! An unprecedentedly big problem happened to us. My seller from Czech have checked on the system that the package has been delivered, but we have not received any calls or messages from the shipper(driver) of DPD. And until from now, we do not understand what happened to my package and we dont receive anything from DPD!!! Hope DPP has to handle these issues for customers, it is impossible to lose such packages. Money is one thing, but the important thing is work attitude and persuasion!!!!

DPD is by far the worst parcel service. Bad service, bad package shop partner (here Flensburg), contact costs money. Unfortunately, you don't always know in advance who will supply you. The management should really be ashamed!

Several times parcels were parked on the street at the house entrance where others could easily have stolen it. Today was the first time a package did not arrive despite a delivery confirmation.

1. Parcel in delivery between 11.13-12.13 no update that the parcel will be delivered later.

If DPD supplier simply drops a delivery of medication worth 150 onto the stairs in front of the house, in my opinion one star is one star too many.

Unfortunately, of all delivery services, DPD is the worst. In 90% of the cases, the messenger doesn't bother to drive to our address, but delivers the parcels directly to a pick-up shop. We live on a large site and DPD doesn't want to look for the entrance there. There is also no collection card left.

In 10% of the cases the parcel does not get beyond the DPD distribution center. So it is not delivered at all. Bad luck.

Today we intercepted the messenger. He had parked the package a long way from our entrance. When we asked him to at least put the parcel in front of our terrace (the way is shorter than to our front door) - we were only furiously bullied and insulted in a language unknown to us.

We are now avoiding orders and online shops that only offer shipping by DPD.

Sadly I can't choose no stars at all. The parcel was delivered to the wrong address, house number 6 instead of 4. And they have just thrown it in front of the door without ringing the bell while it was raining. The nice neighbors brought it to me and I was in an embarrassing situation.

Today my shipment was delivered by Mr. Naftei. I was sick myself. My friend opened the door for me - probably too late for the postman ... who stood in the front door with a threatening gesture and SCHMISS the shipment against her. Parcel carrier rang the doorbell downstairs, but simply parked the parcel down by the stairs in an apartment building. We also have a doctor in house and a lot of visitors. If the friendly neighbor hadn't seen it and brought it up, it would certainly be gone.
I have no problem that he puts it down, I can understand that he does not want to go up 4 stairs, but he should let me know that he is doing that, then I just run down to get it.

The package would have arrived on time, the messenger would only have had to deliver the package. We were at home. But the messenger was obviously too cumbersome to do his job. The driver rang the doorbell after parking on the street and my wife had to carry a VERY heavy package upstairs. The package wasn't even delivered to your doorstep! Everything went great today. Fast and punctual delivery. The nice driver found our address straight away. Sometimes there were problems and unfortunately our house was "not found" and the packages were sent back, which was very annoying. Everything was great today! Keep it up.
