DPD Review

Package tracked, the driver just drove on. I watched everything from the balcony. Simply lazy. Now the next day my parcel is simply checked in at the parcel shop. NEVER ORDER FREEDOM AGAINST YOU.

Super friendly the employee who brought the package to me today. And package tracking is great too.

I would like to rate without a star, parcels are not delivered even though you are at home, are given to the neighbor with some strange names, or are simply parked somewhere instead of the specified location.
Drivers are rude like anything else.

If such a modern parcel service works, I prefer to stay with DHL or Hermes, they are not always reliable, but you are not treated as if you were to blame for the delivery person hating his job.

An email from DPD announced a package with a delivery time. The doorbell rang ... we shouted thank you on the phone and heard a happy laugh. We found the package in the stairwell. A nice delivery person in Trier. We say thank you!

Now DPD determines that parcels are simply redirected to the parcel shop and then announces that it is a customer request !? You can do without such a parcel service even in corona times.

DPD is just the last. Parcel extremely dirty, deliverer simply puts the parcel in front of the front door even though I was on the second floor in the apartment and spoke to him about the intercom.

I have ordered a changing unit commode (60 kg). When the delivery man rang the bell, I was immediately downstairs, but he was nowhere to be found! Just the 60 kg package left for an 8 month pregnant woman to carry (!). It was a matter of only 15 seconds, so my guess is that he purposefully left it there (far from the optimal entrance) and left without waiting for me to sign in order not to help to carry it. Really horrible experience.

I have already received a package several times via dpd, in principle I was always satisfied but this time nothing came on the website that it was delivered on June 26th then I received an email on June 30th that it was sent to the wrong address because I do not have everyone day i read my mails i only found out 3 days later. Despite I have deposited my cell phone number I was not called and now think that I should do it myself as it is faster it is also an expensive product and I am very annoyed about it !! i hope the parcel carrier that was a 50kg package falls on the foot thank you for nothing

Since Corona, the packages are only thrown into the courtyard without comment and without any information, or at least if it is a little more difficult to unload them without regard to the content. Parcels have already been found so damaged that the cartons of the packaging and inner packaging were so damaged that the goods had already fallen out .......................... .....

Delivery to my neighbor even though I was at home at the time. They just didn't bother going up to the third floor, instead delivered it to the neighbor on the ground floor and claimed I wasn't there.

The package was simply parked in the entrance. Although we live in a house with 24 apartments.
Anyone could have taken the package with them.
The parcel courier rang briefly and was then gone.
Every other parcel service brings it directly to our door, as it should be.
It always says that we live on the ground floor. There is also an elevator. So no reason to just leave it somewhere unattended.

Finally close your shop and leave this business to companies that can just do it better. After several years of consistently bad experiences with you, I avoid online retailers who ship via you. One star is still too much for this company with the absolutely nonexistent customer service and its totally inept employees including inept management.

Package delivery will be announced by email. I have been proven to be home. At the minute the delivery time has expired, the mail that the package is in the pickup store arrives. Delivery has not even been attempted. NEVER AGAIN DPD!
PS: The written notification to my neighbors was in my front yard yesterday!

The deliverer deposited the package without having a deposit okay. He showed me a parking okay on his display, although I didn't issue one. I would never give an okay to park on the doorstep, which I also didn't.

If it says that HelloFresh should ring the doorbell for delivery so that the food does not spoil, you also expect that from DPD. I waited at home but nobody rang the bell, and then the mattress was just outside the door. A resident had said the floor. It's really not like that! The time of delivery is not for nothing on the Internet.

Also depends on the driver. In 98% of the deliveries top and super punctual but some drivers can't even read names on the mailbox and put the package in the wrong box.

We could not be at home on the actual delivery day and specified an alternative delivery date. On the day of delivery, we waited for our order all day. DPD had changed the delivery time about five times. Then the deliverer broke off his tour at the end of the day. The next day we received a notification that delivery should take place. We stayed at home again. The deliverer simply handed the 13 kg heavy package to a neighbor on the ground floor and wrote that it had been handed over to us at the apartment door. Why people are asked at all, such as the day of delivery, location, etc., is a mystery to me. DPD is really impossible :-(

This is not the first time I have used the DPD service. There is already the nice tracking function, which is of no use if the driver is kidding us. Each time the parcels are delivered to any DPD shop.

This star only shines very weakly, my parcels were loaded for delivery after 2 days in the depot but were taken back to the depot 2 times, the deliverer informed me "come back if it fits", and that 2 days in a row one complained at DPD in Aschaffenburg, my parcels arrived today, I can only say that if possible, do not send or receive parcels with DPD.

I live at the top and have agreed on a storage location as the website also asks for a contactless process due to the current situation. I was asked to help, which was fine with me as there were two very heavy packages, one over 18kg and the other a little heavier. The driver just drove down my street without even stopping. I stood waiting on the balcony and could see DPD drive past. Then the mail came that I wasn't home.
So have it delivered to the parcel shop, there was then a wrong name on it. Almost didn't receive my package ... Impossible service. Happened almost every time.

For each delivery person, I chose the terrace table as the storage location. It is covered and therefore the program is always dry. Except for DPD, all other deliverers make it. DPD managed to deposit the shipment about 1m behind the entrance gate.
Addendum: This time the messenger has made half the way to the desired storage location.

the school can only be reached by post until 3 p.m. - that should finally be clear to DPD too. The school can be reached from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - during the holidays, delivery is only possible to a limited extent.

I was informed by email that my package would arrive between 10:45 and 11:45. But it only came after 4 p.m.

Goods from an online shop were never delivered to me, but simply delivered somewhere. And now gone and can't be found. DPD does not see itself in debt. Neither did the seller. 130 euros gone. With underpayment and time pressure, it's no wonder that parcel deliverers don't feel like it.

Unfortunately I do not understand that a delivery location should be determined if the deliveries are always put on the doorstep.

Disappointing .. Yesterday waited for the parcel all day and then came the message "could not be delivered", even though I waited all day. There was no ringing, there was no note in the mailbox .. Today it arrived .. Warm ! ... although I ordered it via refrigerated shipping. That was the only reason why I had to have it delivered by DPD. If I have the option, I will certainly not have DPD deliver anything anymore. Wasted money, pay for refrigerated shipping and then get it delivered warm.

Unfortunately, a hopelessly overwhelmed service company which is not able to load parcels into the correct delivery vehicles (more and more incidents), especially when it comes to goods with a guaranteed delivery date. Telephone support only responds with a computer and not people. Unfortunately, with these incidents you only get a "Sorry, we can't do anything" answer instead of a solution-oriented approach.

When I see that it is being delivered by DPD, I dread whether the content stays cool as quickly as it is thrown into the stairwell! I haven't even been able to see the deliverers, they're disappearing so quickly!
