Buying a new car is painful but not at Toyota of Torrance! Thank you Hudson Lee and support staff at DCH! You made a very tough choice SO easy and a pleasure. Trading in "my BABY" a cool silver 2005 Matrix was the hardest part but the tall guy with the big smile promised me he would take good care of her and she would end up in a good home. My NEW Hot Red PriusC is the best! Thanks Hudson for showing me how in the heck to program and drive my new baby. Best gas milage, best interior, and best looking car I have ever had. I only buy Toyota (it's a good luck thing) but now it's only DCH for me.

Coming in I was looking for something bigger than what I already had. I was in between a 4runner and a highlander. Seth was kind and patient with me as we looked at the two different cars, but I was convinced when I saw how spacious and comfortable the highlander was. All in all, great staff, super friendly and not at all pushy.

I bought a 2009 Corolla in 2009 from Torrance Toyota.
It is still in mint condition with 6400 miles on it.
Yesterday, I brought it back in for an appraisal.
I was thinking of selling it back to them, as I don't drive it very often.
The amount they offered me was $8,000. less than I owe on it, and I have never missed a payment!
I am feeling ripped off, to put it mildly.
My credit is spotless, and the interest rate wasn't great, but neither was it sky high.
I have to warn anyone who is thinking of doing business with this dealer to run the other way.
I was a loyal customer, and had leased 3 Toyotas from them prior to this purchase.
Never again for me.

This was my first experience with a dealership service center. I drove right up into the valet like service area, two minutes later somebody put a cone on my car informing me that I will be helped. About 8 minutes later I was helped with a warranty question. They then escorted me to a desk to put down my information and check the computer systems for all warranty services available. They opted for overnight delivery so I signed up and went home. The very next morning I drove of my car hopped out, signed a couple of papers and was offered shuttle service. My car is currently being worked on, I do not doubt the dashboard replacement will be flawless, I am very happy Toyota Camry owner.

This was my second visit to Toyota, and both visit were incredible thanks to Jose the sales Manager. I was involved in an auto accident and was back at the dealer ship searching for another new car. Jose and Cristian were able to find once again the perfect car for me and made the process of buying another new car a smooth and effortless transition. I couldn't be any happier with the professionalism and the knowledge these gentlemen had. Being able to walk out of there with a great car, an affordable car payment, and a low APR is all any buyer could ask for. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a new vehicle.

My husband and I will never shop here again. Leo was our salesman today, and his demeanor was that we were wasting his time because we wouldn t be a big enough sale for him. We told him our offer for a 2014 base model Toyota Tacoma, and he outright refused it. My husband told him to take it to his manager, which he grudgingly did. After more face to face negotiations with a sales manager, a second sales manager relieved him to come work a deal with us. His name was Jose or Juan. He gave us the same price as the previous sales manager, but also said it included accessories. We asked, what accessories? He replied it was for door trim. We were incredulous with his outright lie. We told him this truck is the base model with hand crank windows, it has dings and scratches, and there are no additional accessories. We left. On our drive home, Leo called our cell phone 3 times. He finally left a message and said they d drop the price another $500 and that they wouldn t charge us for the accessories. We just shook our heads at their lies. They were determined to charge us for accessories that this 6 year old base model truck with hand crank windows didn t have. Unbelievable.

10/15/18 edit: I come here to find out the GSM no longer works here. Nothing can be resolved, waste of time. There are far better dealerships to go here than this one specifically.

Don't make the same mistake I did, go somewhere else and thoroughly inspect the vehicle before you purchase

I went to DCH Toyota of Torrance, looking to purchase a used Rav 4, unfortunately the one I had seen online was sold, but Joseph, my salesperson, was really patient and helpful. He was able to get me into a new Rav 4 at a good price. At no time did I ever feel pressured to buy the new car, and he was very willing to left me go at my own pace when looking at the vehicles.

She knows her job very well and was honest and concerned about our specific needs in car selection. Of course, we were not pressured at all. Test driving with her was great and pleasant and she shared her own experience with us. Well mannered customer service is exceptional! Just visit torrance Toyota and talk to her! Bad experience, price of the used vehicle on line was different from the one they give you when you are ready to sign. They were adding $2,000 more for some alarm and clear plastic tape on the doors. When I asked the sales Manager Jose Valapano what was the lower price I should get if I click on the green button that says "GET OUR BEST PRICE" he said that's just to get the customers information and to bring you in the dealer, a total scam. Why not advertise the price of the vehicle for the total price with the accessories that they claim they can't take off. Worst experience ever in a car dealer.

My brother bought a used nissan altima here that turned up with radiator issues shortly into the term. We took it in, had it "repaired," and then the issue showed up again after the return period for the car was over. Trying to avoid paying for a vehicle while footing bills for repair costs in the meantime, we returned and asked if there were other options and the agent at the dealership who sold us the first vehicle gave us the option to trade in the nissan in exchange for a toyota corolla. The payments were ludicrous, 490 dollars a month, which was way too high for us but the agent assured us that in a year's time we could return and refinance the corolla and lower our payments. We did so, but when we returned, we were told that the loan for the vehicle was so far beyond the value of the car that it wasn't possible despite the fact that the agent, whose name is Ihab M. Harran, assured us this would be a possibility. Now my brother is stuck paying 490 dollars a month for a nissan corolla for seven years at a total cost of 28 thousand dollars ( the vehicle was valued at 18 thousand originally ) without any way of fixing the issue. ALL FIRST TIME BUYERS SHOULD AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP, IF NOT ALL BUYERS IN GENERAL. The agents here will tell you whatever it is you need to hear in order to make a sale. Furthermore, when we traded in the old vehicle there was a promotional rebate that Ihab said we could use as a down payment towards the new one and when we chose to do so, Toyota still attempted to deduct 2000 dollars from my brother's bank account. Thankfully, the bank did not authorize it and when we spoke to Ihab about it, he said there had been some kind of mistake. Meanwhile, my brother received bank related charges over this mistake for which he was never compensated. Visiting this dealership was a huge mistake that for the next seven years, my brother will wish he could take back.

Honestly the people rating them bad saying bad things about this dealer is probably because they have bad credit. you need to fix your credit don't just talk crap about dealers its not their fault your credit sucks!! Any ways I was extremely happy with the customer service I was provided and on top of everything they filled up my tank completely before leaving the dealer they also added routine maintenance on top for free. The manager dealing with me was very professional named Linara, I know I'm saying that wrong.... My Sales guys was Jaime. Very Happy customer!!!!

I recently purchased a vehicle at this location and at first my sales guy was very polite his name was David C. No complaints on the sales department. Then there's the service department, I had brought the vehicle in for the activation of the alarm and so far everything seems to be going smoothly. I waited and received their vehicle back in my possession under the time promised and I like that. As I leave the lot and drop my husband off to work, I stepped out to the drivers side and noticed a huge scratch on the side of the sliding door of my Toyota Sienna. My thoughts were, WTF happened!? So I called my sales guy David to tell him the situation and he agrees to meet up with me at the service department to ensure things would be taken care of. We meet up with the Coordinator miss (A) and she flat out said "oh, no that was there already", let me tell you guys, I went from nice and friendly to Ghetto girl in 2.5 seconds. I turned to this woman and said "do you think I would be so upset if I was the one who scratch my own vehicle because when I came this morning to get it serviced that scratch was not there." I request they call the person who did the 360 inspection on the vehicle and he too, agreed that the scratch was not noted by him due to the fact that it was not there when he performed the inspection. So pretty much this woman lied on the documents and no one wanted, of course, to take the blame. A few days later I drop the vehicle off at the service department for them to fix the scratch they made. I picked up the vehicle 2 days later since I received a phone call stating that my vehicle will be ready for pick up after 4:00pm. I get there and knowing that they already had a bad start with me, I personally inspected the vehicle with my husband and discovered that they only fixed the deep scratch on the door but didn't replace the laminate sticker portion of the door which had deep scratches also . I was told that the part was already ordered the previous Friday before I dropped the vehicle and now I'm just plain furious! I paged the manager at the service department and had a few unkindly words with him regarding the extremely POOR QUALITY SERVICE I just received. Now I'm being asked to bring this vehicle back to the service department to have the missing parts, that they had agreed to replace in the beginning, to be put on next week Tuesday. Now I'm at the point of not wanting this vehicle anymore and just returning it and getting another vehicle at a different location where I can at least get some DECENT SERVICE and not waste my time going back and forth to this location. On top of this whole bull crap is that not a single soul has offered to compensate me for my time, mileage, or complimentary anything! How rude of them. I do not have spare time to waste, I am a very busy woman and I have better things to do than go back and forth with their damn service department. All I'm trying to say is do your job right and in a timely manner and you would have no problems, but if you give poor quality of service and neglect your clients agreement with them, then darn it expect bad reviews like this one. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!

Absolutely the worst of the worst. Scumbags & Liars. I found a used 2014 Toyota Tundra on Autotrader on 04/28/2019. Contacted them & said I wanted to purchase it. Was advertised for $22k. I got complete radio silence. After 5+ attempts & a semi stern email to everyone on their management staff posted on their website I get a call from Sean Gibbs (Sales mgr). He gives me the out the door price & assures me that he will hold the vehicle & have someone new assigned to me the next day since he was off for the following 2 days. On 04/29/2019 I get a call from Philip - Internet sales. I email him my D/L, Insurance & Address. I live up by San Francisco & they are down south by Los Angeles. I tell him I am paying via cashiers check. Send me the paperwork, Ill have it notarized & I will mail back with money. I will arrange for pickup. YES - no problem is the answer. At 5pm I follow up to ensure paperwork was sent. SILENCE. Next day 04/30/2019 I call & e-mail. Im told it wasnt sent & now I am transferred over to Mark who is the Internet Director. He apologizes & says too late to send paperwork. On 04/31/2019 I get a text paperwork will be out by 2 & we are all set. At 2pm I get a call from Jason saying sorry we cant sell it to you. Thats it & hangs up. I call back ask to speak to General Manager, Sales Manager or anyone in charge. I leave 2 voicemails, 3 messages with staff. Absolutely nothing. I send e-mails - nothing. Absolute silence & no response to any of my attempts. We are now onto 05/02/2019 & I call from a different number & cheerful tone on the voice & ask for Sean Gibbs who answers. When I question him whats going on, he tells me I have to be there in person to buy the vehicle. I explain to him that I am over 7hrs away & I am not negotiating & buying the vehicle at what the asking price to which he directs me the NEW price is $26k+. OH NOW I GET IT. You raised the price over 4k - almost 5k & thats why you dont want to sell it to me. Now the excuse we dont sell over the internet & phone. Only in person. I have email, text, snapshots of all the lies & bull. I have now made my peace that this place will not honor a word they said. Dont BUY HERE or at any of the Lithia stores. They are owned by Lithia group.

Our salesman, Eddie Flores, went out of his way to make sure we were completely satisfied with our purchase. He followed up with us the following day (on his day off) to resolve a few issues that we didn't get taken care of on the day we purchased the car. We appreciate all of his efforts to maintain a loyal customer.

We bought a car from CarMax, and then my husband actually got a quote for the same model at DCH for WAY LESS, so we went to check it out. Mark, the online sales manager, sat with us and a Sales associate (Mark can't actually sell cars, but the Sales assoc's can) and he made sure that we got exactly the price he had quoted us. We returned the other car to CarMax, and bought the DCH one instead!
The car we ended up with was NEWER than the CarMax car and had LESS miles on it by thousands! Not to mention the priceless Toyota-certified warranty, which CarMax doesn't offer unless you pay some ridiculous amount. Mark and the Sales associate stayed past the dealership's hours to help us work through all the paperwork (we got there late after being at CarMax all day, and since it is our first big purchase as a married couple, we were nervous and read ALL the fine print). Mark and the associate were very patient with us and kind, and answered all of our questions. I didn't want the car alarm because it increased the price, and they were happy to remove it for me!
Any time you are making a large purchase like this, you should ALWAYS read all of the paperwork. When you work with humans, there will always be human errors (ever made a mistake at YOUR job?), so be smart with your money and read things you sign your name on! There was a discrepancy on our paperwork, but my husband caught it and the finance guy corrected it immediately and apologized for the error.
It was a REALLY great experience, we learned a lot, and they were all very gentle with us. No one tried to influence our decisions at any point, and they were helpful and patient.
I would definitely go here again, but I highly recommend getting a quote from Mark first! He is the nicest guy, and you can tell the second you meet him, and he really tries to give customers the best deal possible. We wanted him to get a good commission from us when he helped us get such a low price, and he reassured us that he doesn't GET commission on the cars since he doesn't actually sell them, the Sales people do. That's a pretty darn good guarantee that he has no incentive not to give the lowest price! And just wait til you meet Mark, you'll wanna hug him!! My husband and I both did, and he spent so much time helping us throughout the deal that we feel like great friends now! Where else have you ever heard of people feeling like great friends with the guy at the car lot?? Haha

They are not professional and not fair. As a lot people already mentioned, they try to increase the price from the original one on the website by adding accessories which costs $2000 more and they say that those accessories are already on the car. However, you can remove the accessories fee. They are liars so just be careful. At the point of why they are not professional is because the dealer who dealt with me forgot giving me the important documents, temporary registration, and they don't even make sure to clean the cars and put the full gas. Because of his fault, even I went there to get it, he is not capable of saying just one word "sorry". Rather than that, he likes to complain about you. So, just because it's a big company Toyota does not mean that we can trust them. Probably, it's the other way around. Thus, you guys had better remember there are a ton of options to get a car. Take your time!!

On Dec. 13th, I visited this dealership in the afternoon to purchase used car. I was minding on 2018 Chevy Cruze that has low mileage of 30k miles. The price was attractive; it was advertised as $12,488 on internet. However, story became different at negotiation table. The dealer charged me with $17,233 with all accessories including car theft alarm and useless door guard sticker. Since they are purely optional, I strongly demanded them to take off, however, the dealership refuse to remove charges making excuses that they are preinstalled. Again this dealership's sales practice is very shady and untrustworthy. They are engaged in bait and switch technic. Please take my advice and have a business elsewhere before you become a victim like me.

Keep in mind I went in for a test drive and stated that I am not looking to purchase a car today. My test drive literally lasted 2 square blocks twice with the 86. Person who rode with me didn't give me any instruction on the sport mode or stability control (main basic functions of a car). I even lost my traction due to the settings. Actually he didn't give me any instruction AT ALL about anything. You could have taken me up Rolling Hills Rd. or spaghetti hill... 1-2 miles from the dealer. I assume I would qualify for the 0.9% APR 72 months as advertised with a my 730 TransUnion score.

The used 2013 with 45k miles is also appealing to me. But I don't know anything about the car drives at this point. I am waiting for some investments to liquidate and it would be an all cash offer in a couple of months. I would say keep an eye out for a silver or white 2013 with around 40k but as you can tell by my lengthy review I am not happy one bit... If I were to purchase a car from you it would have to be ONE HELL OF A DEAL...

Horrible! Communication was NOT had between ANYONE who's selling the vehicle & the finance department let alone the Customer! As previous reviews showed, the "Mandatory Add On" prices were properly explained or given an option to opt out, I was told to pay for my registration two weeks after i purchased the vehicle & the sales rep did NOT explain anything after making the purchase. I called him numerous times to which i was always give an excuse of "let me call you back" without a call back.

First time buying a car, so I knew I wasn't going to get the best APR, but they blatantly just tried to screw me over. I was putting $4000 down on a $12000 car, I have "good" credit and they tried to give me a 12.99% APR. Went to a different dealership, got a car for the same cost with the same down payment, my credit had not changed at all as it was the day after I came to this dealership and they managed to get me a 8% APR. This dealer ship obviously tried to take advantage of me. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

There was no pressure on us at all. I was shopping at my own pace and he was really patient. It is the first time I had such a great experience at a dealership. I had a very bad experience with them. As many people mentioned, there are $2000 to $3000 non removable options already installed in a car and have to pay for those "options"you did not even requested. In the contract clearly shows these are "options" but you are still responsible to pay. I have purchased my cars with other dealers like Honda and Subaru in the past, but they did not have non removable options like Toyota. They also have very poor customer service and poor communications.Before signing my contract, I requested a sales rep person to check in with a specif bank for financing, and he gave me a APR rate said it was from the bank that I wanted financing. However, in my contract, there is a different company name written as financing. I cannot believe how shady they are. My husband called them multiple times to reach out to the financial manager, and the sales rep who answer the call put my husband on a hold forever. So I called the same number and probably the same guy answered my call and told me the financial manager was not in the office. I also called them other times and left massage, but no return calls, or went to auto voice message. I thought Toyota is a big company with a decent service but not. They lie and they do shady stuff. I would tell all my friends not to buy cars from them. DONT TRUST THEM. GO TO OTHER DEALERS TO SHOP!!!!

Worst dealership ever, I took my 2009 corolla because it has a squeking and rattling noise and after 4 hrs and $129 their diagnostic was a loose belt, BUT the missed a broken alternator, that a mom/pap shop diagnose it correctly with in 5 min. I left a message with the person that "Helped me" and never received a call back from him, 2 weeks later someone called me to rate my experience and after I explained what happened, she told me will report the issue to the service manager, but I'm still waiting for the call

I unfortunately am stuck with a 72 month loan which is not what was agreed on. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. Go to another location in Orange County. I heard their deals are better and they actually have better staff. The staff at DCH does not care about you. I can promise you that.

I called in on 3/8/19 to purchase a 2017 Prius they had in stock. Spoke to Irene Rios and asked to to take a video of the car since I was coming from far away and was purchasing the car cash and wanted a quick and seamless experience. She told me there was a video of the car online which there isn't, and she made it seem like a very hard task for her to take a video of the car with her phone. Sounded annoyed, she agreed to send a video which as expected never happened. Im very disappointed with this dealership; ive purchased 4 cars this last year and never once had a problem with such a simple task. It all start it when I saw a ad on CarGurus of a 2015 Toyota Prius persona edition, only has 6300 miles on it, and it looked brand new so I figured worth of checking it out. So asked my friend to drive me there from Alhambra to Torrance! A 34 miles drive, damn did I regret the decision, came in test drive the vehicle, found mismatch paint in front bumper and rear bumpers, but didn't show anything in the car fax report, so i figures previous owner must repainted himself and never report to the insurance! So I figured why not work with the numbers with them, wrong! After I give my info for a credit check manager came out, and give me the payments of a 72 month loan $447 a month! $32185 total with interest and gap insurance for a 2015 Prius that has been damaged, who knows might have been wrecked since it's been fixed under the table! Than sales manager go on and said if you don't wanna the gap insurance, I take it out it's gonna be $397 a month for 72 month total $28584, so even if you take 18900 plus tax title license it's 21001.2 plus 5.99% would been $25056 Damn I was like why not get a new car, than he reply right away you want a new Prius we do have plenty! Now I know you just wanna me to buy a new car instead, so I than said why don't I pay cash for the car for $15000? He than said we can only sale it for $18900 plus tax title license and interest at 5.99% wow why don't you just go jack somebody instead? At that point I was thinking you guys focus on the payment only even if I would get a new car you would come up a way to make more money off of me so why not walk out the door and never come back! So that's what I did please be advised before you go down the dealership!

I had a wonderful experience throughout the entire process. Joseph with internet sales responded to my inquiry in minutes. I received an email and a phone call which is what made me decide to actually go into the dealership instead of continuing to just browse online.

Once I got there, Phillip Rivera did everything to make sure I was happy and getting exactly what I wanted with all of the features I wanted. I ve always purchased vehicles from dealerships I worked at, so I was a little nervous. Phillip made me feel completely comfortable within a few minutes of walking around the lot and I would 100% purchase a vehicle from him again.

It's shameful that you share your business with them and they tarnish it small and try to get more because of their shady management.
