Very classy and impressive dealership, great people, no games or tricks. I bought a new GMC SUV here after visiting 5 other GM dealers. I'm so glad I found them and will go back again for my next purchase. I highly recommend you give them a chance if looking for a GM auto! My salesman was Jesus.

I remember why I never take my car to dealerships ...

I remember why I never take my car to dealerships for service. My GMC Canyon had toh have the key FOB programmed by the dealer. I was told to come down and it wouldn't take long. As you can guess, it took almost 2 hours. When I first arrived it took about 15 minutes before I could find someone who would talk to me. Then forever for a tech to come over to find out my issue. I will never step into this place again.

I had the worst experience EVER!!!! My car went in...

I had the worst experience EVER!!!! My car went in for collision repairs, GMC had my car for over 3 months and still did not properly fix my GMC the first time. I called two to three times a week to check on the status and I kept being told they just finished and are washing it right now I'll call you tomorrow to come pick it up. Every week for two months. I had to get my insurance involved and finally I was called to pick up my car 2 MONTHS after dropping it off only the body work was done, had I not notice my car was still crooked and left the lot my children and I could have been killed. The suspension was never fixed despite being told it had been. When I finally got my car over three months later I had to come right back the next day because the trunk door hing was bent and it had to be removed for me to be able to close my trunk. Then I had turn around and take it to another shop because the rod they installed that ran from the front to the back of the car to 'fix' the suspension was not installed properly and something in the wheel was still bent. It was so bad the second repair shop looked at the damage and told me 'correctly' what cause the damage 3 month earlier ' My car being slammed into the curb Meaning GMC did not touch or inspect my car thoroughly so I needed another brand new tire, wheel hub, and some other repair. I transport my Children in my car and and GMC left my car sitting for months and then fixed the outer part of my car and gave me back a death trap saying it was fixed. Then GMC tells my they will cover my rental past the 30 days my insurance covered it because it was their fault my car was in the shop stating they had no reason to have my car that long other than they were very busy and this month a get a bill for rental because GMC decided they would only pay a $19.99 a day' seriously, I'm still getting stressed about GMC unprofessionalism after they promised no worried 'We will take care of it.' I have had my car for 5 years and have frequented GMC Service and body shop. This is my 3rd GMC car but man after this NEVER AGAIN!!!! 1 star isn't accurate I need a negative star scale -100 risking peoples lives REALLY!!!!!

Sales: salesperson was infinitely difficult to understand, terrible at follow up and often was unaware of car details. Largely unhelpful and often made the experience worse

Deal: once we agreed on the car and price, I asked for documentation confirming our verbal agreement. That never arrived, and when asked - the salesperson took personal offense suggesting I was questioning his integrity. When I asked for a manager, that call never was returned and the car was sold. After that and with the salesperson out of the way, I dealt more closely with the manager and the deal actually progressed. I then accepted a lesser car for the original price.

Home delivery: awful experience. The salesperson had to return TWICE (after the original delivery) to correct omissions that he guided me towards. Now weeks later, I STILL don't have my lease contract.

Salesperson: Vroom (sp?), Manager: COdrut Munteanu (AKA: Caddy)

Competitive price but terrible service and experience. GMC of South Bay is exactly why people hate the car buying experience..

I had an appointment at 10:30, arrived on time. I was told my oil change can take anywhere from 1 1/2-2 hours. Needless to say, I waited 3 hours, with no update, no status. The only reason I found out anything was because I looked for my service coordinator: just for him to tell me my car was next and has not been worked on yet. Extremely disappointed. Mainly, because my last visit with service coordinator Freddie, took no more than a hour and times before I had awesome customer service. Maybe one familiar face this visit. Carlos was nice and did apologize for the delay. I just took my vehicle and went elsewhere. Wasted almost 4 hours of my day with no happy ending.

Reggie is extremely detailed and service orientated. When you get a service advisor that "suggest" dealer recommended maintenance when you come in for an oil change versus "sell" or "up-sell" you dealer recommended maintenance you can find yourself more inclined to take it under consideration. We took our GMC Denali in for normal oil change and 12 point inspection. I asked Fred Wilson the service writer what was included in the 12 point inspection and if this included making sure all of the lights work on the exterior of the vehicle. He said yes. I told him that many people had told me my passenger rear break light was out. I asked him to check it out. But as I found out when I got home, it was still not working. Fred had assured me that he would check it out for me. I am not sure if he forgot or what had happen. This is the reason for the low rating. The incompetence of the service writer and completing the work which was needed. Letting an unsafe vehicle on the road. Now I will have to take more time off of work in order to get this repair and having my vehicle back in the shop when it should have been done correctly the first time. Poor Service!

When we showed up in person EVERYTHING was the same as promised by phone. THIS is definitely the place for the BEST deal on a new Buick GMC.

My boyfriend and I had been talking with a sales man Phillip for a while to get a Buick Regal with a good discount that they offer. We were very happy with Phillip's service and so close to take the car. But suddenly, a mean came in and he said he "respectfully declined" the negotiation. After he said this, the manner later on showed no professionalism and just straight up kicked us out by saying someone got the car. Seriously, man! We were talking first and had been for a while. I don't care you wear Rolex or not. But please, do respect YOUR customers if you are willing to do business. Please don't judge us just based on our look and don't treat us condescendingly. Because of this person, I will never ever go back to this dealer and will tell my family and friends not to go here. I appreciate the service of Phillip's but I really hate how that manager was rushing us to put an end.

Never had a truly satisfactory experience here. I went to get service on my vehicle this morning, and the attendant did not have record of my appointment. I showed the email confirmation to prove I was at the right place at the right time. She didn't care. The last two maintenance visits also had bad experiences, with various fluids not being filled (keeping alarms active) and simple parts under warranty taking extra time to arrive (the parts guy ordered the wrong sensors). Generally, the purchase of the vehicle was on the same level, all around bad. Ironically, I bought an Audi a year later and ran into a GMC former employee who confirmed this place a nightmare and blamed the owners. All positive reviews are likely to be fake. Beware of this place.

Just bought my wife a brand new GMC Yukon XL and had an amazing experience with these guys especially Alex. We had to come 60 miles to find the exact vehicle she wanted Alex and I were able to do the deal over the phone and we were in and out in about an hour and a half With all three of our kids in tow. Great buying experience here thanks guys!

Wrote a review weeks ago (likely it's below), to which someone reached out saying: Oh "we're so sorry" just call into this number and we'll sort everything.

Called the number.
Receptionist was like... oh someone... responded to your review and asked you to call in... do you know who it was? She seemed surprised.
No, the social media manager didn't leave their name, just signed it as "the owner". She says, Okay well let me just take down your number and someone will contact you in the next two hours. No one contacted me.

Next day I called back, explained my issue again, different receptionist gives me the same vacant answer, took down my number again and assured me someone would call within the hour. No one contacted me.

Third day I called back and told them my situation to the THIRD different receptionist (at this point knowing literally everyone's name here at this point, thanks Evelyn and Stephanie for doing your best), and I asked the lady I had the phone: so like... is it just not gonna work out that anyone is even going to return my call? Like... how does someone know for multiple days that you're trying to get in touch with them and repeatedly, for days, ignores them? And no one had an answer to that.

Overall, shouldn't even be a business. It's one thing to apologize for absolutely unprofessional customer service, it's another thing to blanket-apology for it, ask the customer to call in to right the wrong, only to repeat with even worse customer service. You're a MASSIVE dealership, hire more people to spend time giving a care. Be. Human.

My car is now out of warranty (even though my service was done WITHIN warranty time frame, just not done correctly), which means the burden SHOULDN'T be on me to pay for but of course, it is. And the costs will be out of pocket, the original 5-day service delay (that was totally unannounced to me they simply just didn't call that Friday and had me wait all weekend without a car like that's "normal" without notice), which caused me to afford taxis all weekend without explanation, then miss Monday's work to SHOW in person to figure out what the hell happened, and all this will never be resolved because guess what, you already got paid.

You've communicated to me that money was all that matters to you.

I hope this true testimonial will help you others out there to avoid this location - it is not worth the unmerited disrespect.

I definitely agree with all the other reviews on here. I took my 2014 buick enclave which I purchased there for faulty gear shifter that had bad clicking vibrations. Its under warranty and a week later it WASNT fixed. Gary Anderson their service manager claimed it was NORMAL! He was being condascending, unprofessional and a total jerk saying they wouldn't fix it. I've owned a cts and srx at other cadillac dealers and never had a bad experience. I have never felt so disrepected and unappreciated as a customer as I did there. Service there is horrible. Needless to say they lost me as a customer and I will take this up with their guest relations office for sure. Take your car to boulevard or martin Cadillac. They are courteous and professional there and have a much better team.

Terrible service. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else. Me and a friend of mine that I referred to this dealer had an issue with the dealer paying off our trade ins. Took them months to do so and I was fortunate enough to get my payoff paid sooner but my friend has been dealing with the every day phone calls from the previous lender asking for late payments that had not been done and it s hurting his credit. It has been an uphill battle with trying to have the proper people figuring out the issue and fixing it. Sales rep Jesus Chaidez who facilitated the sale doesn t answer his phone or return calls to try and help resolve the issue. Stated that the issue is out of his hands which I can understand as I have been a sales rep before and problems like this can arise but from a consumer point of view it s unacceptable that such brand that is supposed to have high standards gives such poor quality of customer service and support.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALER... there car sales man Carlos Is the worst sales person. He messed up so bad on our paper work. The Maneger had said he was fired. That was bull. I think if I had gone to a hole in the wall dealer. They would have given me better service. The worst car buying experience and I've bought well over 10 cars. We bought the Yukon in mid march in may we got the registration. BUT today I went to the DMV to get the tags. Because we haven't received them. DMV told me that the dealer never paid for the tags. They only paid for the registration. I call them leave messages and they don't call back. I can go on, on how bad the service is. One other thing we specifically said no gap we will get it threw our credit union. They still put it in. Like I said don't return my calls to refund the gap. If I can give them 1/8 of a star I would. But it won't let me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER South bay Penske.

I had the best customer service experience todayat Penske Cadillac Buick GMC in Torrance, CA. Stacie Meas, Atto Sargon, Jesus Chaidez, Carlos (I didn't get his last name) and Fernando in Finance took excellent care of me. I went there on Feb. 15 with an appointment but there was a last minute change in their staff assignments and Stacie was brought over to work with me. It was the best, no pressure, friendly, customer oriented experience. Stacie listened to all my questions and answered with thorough detail. Atto worked with me to arrange a driveoff cost and monthly lease payment that was what I was looking wanted. They put in a lot of effort to work with my preferences. I would go back to work with this team in a heartbeat.

In my opinion, Stacie, Atto, Jesus keep the focus on their customer to provide an exceptional experience. They worked as a team to ensure that I got all the info that I was seeking. Stacie even took the time to walk me out to the shop area just so I could take a look. I can't say enough, they treated me like family and did everything they could to give me the Terrain that I wanted, the deal that I wanted and the fantastic customer service that I was looking for.

I bring my vehicle here because I trust them and their service is quality. Their speed is atrocious. My appt for an oil change was at 0830 and I was the 3rd car to pull in. It was 1130 when they finally started the oil change. I may rethink the future of an oil change takes 4 plus hours. And they couldn t rotate my tires as they didn t have a lug for the tires. a dealership lacking tools ?

Service team took 2 weeks to repair my air conditioning. Although this was a big job it should not have taken 2 weeks. Either they only worked on it a few hours a day or it sat there for days without being worked on. If the team did not have time dedicated to fixing my vehicle they should have said so up front and made an appointment with me when they had time. Additionally, they should have let me know up front how long it would have taken to repair my vehicle. They did provide me with a loaner vehicle which was appreciated, but they need better communication with customers on how long repairs will take.

Pasadena Buick and Sherman Oaks Buick both were disappointing but Penske Buick in South Bay really showed us how easy car buying should be for a customer. Penske gave us the BEST deal that no other Buick dealer could match and Clarissa made the entire process seamless, quick, no-fuss, and super professional.

I went in on an appointment for a software recall....

I went in on an appointment for a software recall. I was told it should take a few minutes. I also mentioned that my right DRL was out and if they could check it out. I waited for 3 hours because the are "busy". About every hour or so I would ask the service advisor and he would tell me they are busy and are diagnosing the problem.

After 3 hours he said I needed to wait for them to order the entire headlight assembly because it does not have a bulb ant its LED. I feel this should have not taken 3 hours to diagnose. More than likely they are trying to bill GM for the max but from the LED statement, it seems they could have just place an order for the assembly instead of having me wait 3 hours with my kids in the waiting room.

Recently accompanied my husband so he could by a needed vehicle being that are oldest son is now driving my husband old truck was handed down to my son. This of course presented a joyous opportunity to treat my husband. We weighed out our options between new/slightly used and shopped around. Ultimately decided not to go with a used vechile to avoid unexpected surprises.
Responded to an outreach of a sales kid Arman he showed us the vechile took us for a test drive and eventually walked in to talk numbers.
Stacey [internet sales) took over the talk and walked us in to push numbers and fill out paperwork. After all was said and done we purchased the Yukon xl slt. Must say when you purchase a NEW vechile the excitement is there. So much so it can become crucial to sit back and ask questions and inspect throughly.
You see after coming home and showing the family the NEW family car the kids were excited and wanted to see how the TVs functioned. We soon realized that there was no remote for the tvs . Soon after I reached out to the dealership to let them know there was no rear side entertainment package. Stacey was prompt in repsponding via email and assured me they would locate the missing items for us. This felt reassuring in the moment but it now has been email after email and not one phone call to give further direction on when we could pick up remote and headphones. After a week of wait I called on Sunday spoke with a operator name Maribel she was very pleasant and assisted the call explained the situation at hand. Maribel informed me that Stacey was off for the day and asked if I would like to speak with the manager Seayney. I agreed but to my surprise Arman the sales kid handled the call. After once again explaining the situation at hand I asked ,if there were two other exact makes on the lot why not give the customer the items from the other vechile and the dealership wait for the "supposed ordered items". Arman response was a bit surprising. Well if Peter and Paul have something and just beacuse Henry doesn't have it. We can't just take it from them to replace what Henry doesn't have.
That response was clearly story time Bs .
Arman shared no concern to make the customer feel heard and to address the problem simply parts shop is closed today Stacey isn't working and I can take a message.
Its now Monday no response via email no call from either rep that so eagerly called numerous of times to sell.
This feels no less than a used dealership of how they would conduct business. Dissapointed for such a small items but make it in to the biggest difference on how you view things.

My wife and I had the BEST experience over the pas...

My wife and I had the BEST experience over the past week finding, test driving, asking questions and getting answers and finally purchasing an Acadia Denali...and she's 9 months pregnant!! Over the course of 4 days we met multiple people on the sales team, all VERY friendly and informative. We were helped by a young man and former Special Forces soldier named Olmo that was great. Then went back on his day off and Mayra helped us a tremendous amount. When we met the GM Cathy S...we were SOLD. She was AMAZING! They worked with us to decide between multiple cars and when we went another direction, they were happy to help us find the information and car we needed. Then Cathy and Mayra made us a great deal on the new Acadia. I will definitely be returning for my next car lease and/or purchase!! I may just stop in to hang out with the great people at Penske!

Most seamless service appt I have had! My service advisor greeted me as I parked my car. And then when my car was ready I received a text telling me to pick my car up. When I arrived my car was already out front ready for me to pick up! I've never had a faster and easier experience thank you!

If your looking for a typical car salesman that will not negotiate with you, will lie about following the NATIONAL AD, than this is the place to go. I spent 8 hours, and was lied to from beginning to end despite having great income and tier 1 credit. What i dont understand is why the manager stated that they will follow their national advertisement (GMC had posted a good lease on their national website - a deal that all official dealerships should follow), but the salesman kept messing with me. He was not even close to the national total lease sales, and every time he would go back and come back with new prices, he would take off some money from the money down BUT increase the monthly price - their was never a difference. Overall he was over 3000$ from the national advertised price despite the same MSRP and he claimed it was "Taxes". I walked into another GMC dealership a day later and walked out within 2 hours with the same car as they followed the national advertised prices/deals.

Do not waste your time here.

Wasn't that great. Told me services would be ready Friday, then my representive Joe hit me with "I'm actually leaving" and went out of town unexpectedly, pushed my file to another representative Mike who didn't reach out to me, service crew doesn't work weekends, forced me to be without a vehicle all weekend, paid for taxis out of pocket and wasn't compensated, no one Saturday knew my situation, forced to skip work Monday morning to show up at 7am to find out any information, turned out car was serviced Saturday, invoice then set $125 higher than original quote. Overall awful experience, and very little effort to correct the issue.

Never again will i bring my truck in for service after charging me 1500 dollars for a new radiator, headlight bulb and air in my tires ,to tell me I may be needing a engine soon.i dropped my truck off originally for low oil pressure ,didn't offer a loaner car ,kept my truck for 3 days .This pass Tuesday night, the truck was finished. As I drove off ,about a mile I noticed I still had the same problem, Low oil pressure I driven the truck for 5 days until I dropped it off at another mechanic shop ,as soon as I opened up the hood I noticed the mechanic left a clamp tighten onto the bottom radiator hose!

Penske Cadillac is a great place to bring my truck for not only service but the body shop too. You have a really good team in the body shop and I am drawing a blank but the two guys running the show are fantastic. They were extremely informative and although there were some delays, I realize General Motors doesn't always respond to parts as we would like but the finished product is most important. These guys worked their butt's off and helped me when I needed it most and my truck looks amazing. What more can I ask for?

It was waste of time going there They were trying to cheat me in to buying a car Before I go there I call them and ask for the mileage and they told me it was low mileage and I ask how many owner and they told me it was only one owner car when I got there I find out it was two owners and high mileage than When I comforted them about their lying they got really upset and disrespectful I would not suggest for anybody to go there and buy a car if you do make sure you ask a lot of questions because they're not honest people

This was a terrible experience. I requested a specific technician. Someone else worked on the truck, the service writer told me to my face that I did not make any request. I dealer did not recognize Ally Major Guard Warranty work. I provided a copy of the invoice. First they said I only had power train coverage, then they said I had no coverage. I had to pay over 1500.00 for an AC Condenser that I understand was a recall item anyway. I have appealed to GM, but they stopped communicating with me after I sent the proof of coverage.

Why do you guys make it so difficult when it comes to placing a phone call either people don't answer the phone just rings or I get transferred into a loop where I get transfer to the parts department then transferred back to the receptionist then never get a phone call back until the next day when I don't even need their services anymore for a company that sells Cadillacs you guys sure have poor service, I hesitated to post a bad review four phone calls ago but you guys are ridiculous, I'll be taking my business to cerritos or signal hill thanks for nothing

Disappointed.

Disappointed.
Went in for a warranty job this week and software update for my Tour X, car stayed there for a day and no software problem was actually fixed.

My car's radio run on 21.1, which has a problem of not showing value on speed signs in the cluster. So I asked them to look for TSB updates( 19-NA-100 / 19-NA-249) that solves the issue.
After the hassle, Software still not updated (which I know there IS a new update because my friend has the same car same problemand his dealer updated it to 22.9 and problem solved, mine stuck on 21.1 and has speed limit no value problem)

Before i got the car, I ask the service guy about the procedure they had taken and asked why they didn't update the software though there is a TSB for the problem.

He ensures that they "use GM tools to get the updates and I already have the latest version"(which I instantly know it is not true), and tested the car and took it out for a drive and the speed limit work as intended which shows the current speed sign of the road. But they forgot I have a dash cam which is recording whenever it is driving and the empty sign problem is still there when I got the vehicle back.

They lied to me and I really hate that. Now I think I would better have all my service done elsewhere.

I went to Penske for an oil change, brake inspection and tire rotation. The service rep talked me into a $300 fuel service which I now have learnded was not necessary and never inspected the brakes or if they did never advised me of the existing brake life. Also, I discovered the front undercarriage panel has been broken and dislodged. To make matters worse, I received a text message that my car was ready for pickup. After settling the bill I had to wait over 20 minutes before they brought the car to the pickup point. Sorry Penske you suck! Never will go to you again for service!

Service people need to manage expectations better.
I was told it would be an hour. At the 90 min mark, I asked about the status of my vehicle. Was told at that point they were working on a recall. Maybe another 30 minutes or so.
45 mins later, I had heard nothing. I went back to the service technicians desk & he then asked me if I had time for a wash. 3 hours total time of waiting & I was not able to get a wash because of the delay. Very frustrating

Came in and due to a deficiency in the GMC schedul...

Came in and due to a deficiency in the GMC scheduling system (which isn't the dealer's fault) the service I had scheduled on my mobile app wasn't in their system. No big. They took my truck on the spot and in a few minutes I was on my way to run errands with my wife. A couple hours later my service had been complete and I picked up my truck. No muss no fuss. Just did the work and got me on my way.
