horrible, bugs every where ,hair in the sink. never going their again.

Water park is beautiful and my son enjoy it a lot. Needs a little more work in keep all the water slides and pools in complete functionality

Westgate made me a reservation to this hotel. the pictures in website look nice and fancy but don't be fooled by pictures. one morning woke up to brush my teeth and saw a cockroach crawling on the floor. That was absolutely disgusting, told the manager about it and all she did was move me to a room. I called westgate about it and did nothing like they did not care. yet, they were happy to get my money but care less about my experience with roaches in my room. don't stay in this hotel.

It was a nice spot..the kids enjoyed it! . But my only suggestions are to maybe paint some characters on the walls in the rooms. It will look even more like a "kids friendly hotel and show more of the tropical theme.. and clean the jacuzzi thats the only reasons..I couldn't give 5 stars.

Bathroom was not very clean.. The vents and sprinkles had so much dust pile on them it looked like and animal. If you don't like out side room doors make you ask of inside rooms. Housekeeper stole micro chip from off dresssor.

I really wish I could give this hotel a lower then 1 star rating. Nothing was as advertised. Staff seemed to be a mix of dangerously under trained and sadly under motivated.

WIFI not only was it $12 dollars a day but during my stay it flickered between not working and barely working. Loading the Google homepage was a 3-5 minute wait. When I addressed it with your staff I was just told that was the way it was. Burger King has functioning FREE WIFI I would hope that if I am made to pay for it at least it would work.

Water Park was a disappointment when I took my family there half of it was shut down and I was told it was because no guests wanted to use it.....this despite standing there as a guest asking to use it. Oh the shut down water park I of course got to pay for the right to use that to.

This place looks a little meh from the outside, but my kids and I have stayed here so many times and never had any major issues! The pool/grotto area is super nice, and to make it even better, it s one of the cheapest hotels in the area. My boys love the water park and arcade, I love the sidelines. It s not the best hotel or water park you ll ever go to, but it s more than worth the cost. (Tip: Check for promo codes!)

I was so disappointed!! The carpet in the aisles smells terrible. We were unable to use the Waterpark at all while we were there because it was closed. I definitely do not recommend staying here. They charge $10 dollars per day for parking but there are a lot of other places that don't charge for parking. Definitely did not get the"Resort" feel at the place.

We had alot of fun, the staff was very friendly! Rooms were clean, beds were a little uncomfortable but overall it was good. The kids had a great time. I wish the waterpark portion opened a little earlier. You know little kids and patience doesnt mix but hey.

Had family vacation here and its great place to bring children, the water park resort very tropical, beautiful colors, mini bar for drinks here too! The staff was friendly, rooms clean , neat and well organized! The prices for family breakfast buffet is really reasonable too!

Kinda of like a bootleg red carpet inn .. the water park is nice but the rooms are ahhh. No real amenities no elevator... But the room guys are cool. We arrived we paid another resort fee and had no electricity in our room we had to swap rooms overall room plus resort fee at hotel was way higher per night over our other resort that was luxury ! They should improve their rooms, and their breakfast. The nice water park. But please do not go to Orlando in January and February it is a real waste of money to pay for a water park, too cold. They must improve the facilities.

Decided to spend the day here for Memorial weekend. It wasn't as crowded as we thought it would be and everyone had a great time. The only downside was the music... It would start a song and then cut off and then play the last few seconds of the song. You know how much that hurt when Ed Sheeran came on Other than that all was perfect!

The only reason I m giving this hotel a single star is because of the water park. We arrive for a family vacation book 4 rooms supposed to be adjoining, they were not. My kids, as all kids do, open everything in the hotel and discover a very alive roach in the fridge! I was extremely disgusted but whatever I m there for my family to have a good time not going to be spending much time in the room anyway so I let it go. We go to the water park that was fun for the kids they had a great time (hence the 1star) walking back to our room we discover a sign for movie night which sounds great! So we go on a search asking many staff where it is low and behold they didn t have said advertised movie playing that night so we just go back to the rooms for the cousins to shower and hang out. My 11yr old daughter then takes a shower locking the door, the door sticks and she gets stuck in the bathroom nervously screaming for help!!!! When she came out she then shows us a dead baby roach that was in the shower along with a ball of hair that was NOT hers Again it happens from then on we didn t lock the door. She also used the toilet flushed it and the toilet kept running ALL NIGHT LONG! So we send the kids to sleep with the grandparents my husband and I go to sleep (with the roach still on my mind I didn t sleep well) we wake up i get the kids they played in the room as I get our bags packed and ready my 8yr old SCREAMS!!!! So I look over and there is not 1 but 2 roaches crawling on the bed I slept on!!!! So not only did we have have 1 massive roach in our fridge but also 2 baby roaches IN THE BED I SLEPT IN!!!! This sorry excuse of a hotel is literally the bottom of the barrel I will NEVER be staying here EVER! And will never recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun place to stay! I think the motel 6 would have been cleaner than this place!

Horrible place!!!! Do not ever stay in this place !! it's a nightmare!!! The employees give a very bad service: we had to leave in the middle of the night because some people were in the hall of second floor screaming and laughing as if no one else was around sleeping. We called the reception to complain about the excessive noise and they ignored the complaint, I had to get out of bed to go directly and personally to the reception to complain to say that some people upstairs and the Reception told me that the security said there was no one outside pfffff I had to take a picture with my phone to show that if there were people outside screaming because the security did not want to go! When I ask for my refund to go to another hotel at the reception, the receptionist told me that they cannot give me the complete refund, when I am having damages and losses without being able to sleep with a headache due to excessive stress and the terrible service provided by the employees !! To top it off, trying to sleep, the alarm rang alone, crazy thing, and it turned off alone and dialed 3 times the phone alone towards reception !! Crazy hotel, worst experience in the world !!!

Rooms so outdated. Told us no charge for parking, tried charging $10. Then charged us $12 more for the resort fee than what we were told. They told us free shuttles would have extra times for Halloween Horror Noghts and they did not. I have been on hold

I found it unnecessary to charge a daily fee for the use of the waterpark being that we only used it 3 times, we were approached by a tourist agency employee (Lilian) inside the hotel who offered us a tour and almost fell in a blow from the rest of the timeshare was Nice but these two facts made the trip a little messy.

The roster bar is good and room ok and water park very nice

Honestly, the amenaties are selling feature of this hotel and are phenomenal. However, the beds were not very good and made sleeping a chore. Also, there was a bug in my room and the toilet seat was broken for the first few days. There was a black build up in the corner of the bathtub thatcould have been mold. This was never cleaned but the staff was friendly.

Had the worse experience here! It advertises wi fi. We get there it is none. My beau and I both had school work to complete. The room smelled of smoke and all of the lights did not work. We had to check in on Friday and checked out on Saturday evening. We were supposed to stay there until Monday but our work was already past due and we paid an extra $290 for another room. I would like a partial refund and this is due to false promises of internet for 24 hours.

The hotel and rooms were nice. Some of the water park was closed due to upgrades. Grandkids loved the small water park.

Great for children and adults. Children can enhoy themselves at the water park and pools and adults can enjoy themselves at the bar and the lounge chairs by the pool.

Very disappointed, they charge for water park fees, gym, and game room. There s no way you can get only the room with gym and game room included. People already have expensive tickets to SeaWorld, Universal, and Disney where there s water; no need to pay extra for a water park.

Had a great time!!! Water park is so much fun and rooms were very spacious. Would love to come back.

Room was clean, spacious but found a roach had to switch rooms after we were all settle

Half the waterpark was shutdown for repair and the hours were 11 to 7 so we really couldn't even use is due to universal passes. The wifi sucked, the fire alarm kept continuously going off in the middle of the night waking us. The manager was aweful and they never even offered so much as a discounted rate for all the inconveniences! Never again!!!

Hotel was more like a motel. Bed was very uncomfortable. They refused to turn on the whole water park rides until 2pm. Only 3 slides were open 11-3. Trying to save money til after school hours perhaps.

Room service knocked on the door at 8am. So Mich for sleeping in. Great arcade, nice restaurant and bar. Loved the gift shop. All around lots of anemities. And things are walking distance if you get hungry. Cici pizza is across the street.

First thing right out of the gate, we had our reservations weeks in advance but for some unknown reason we had to wait AN HOUR and A HALF for our rooms and Joshua that answered the phone had an attitude like he couldn't be bothered. We finally get there and there are only 3 towels in the room. Then we decide to go to the pool, on the way to the pool people are walking around, I get stopped and told that I need a mask. There were NO signs posted and also the people who were with me didn't get stopped. I said ok fine, then we get to the pool, I get in my kids go to the water slide in the pool and I'm waiting for them to come out. There are no signs yet again but a life guard is shaking his hand back and forth at me like I read minds and mumbling so I couldn't hear him and the music was louder than him. Ok fine I moved. We left for the day and figured that house keeping would stop in but nope, my Mom's boyfriend had to go to the front desk to ask for more towels and such. I'm not doing this to get management to respond, step it up folks.

Price line charged $144 for 3 night stay including tax but when I reached there I was charged again $137 as resort fee . It was real bummer . It almost cost a ticket to enter Disney . They said it was charged for parking , shuttles and water park . Never any any of it . Beds are not comfortable and if you calculate the total price I can go and get a better stay at Hyatt or Marriot . Just waste of money and another way of ripping travellers . Will never go back again . And it doesn't feel like a resort it was more like a motel experience.

The pool was open but the big slide for the waterpark was down due to maintenance which I feel like should have been advertised on their website before someone a stay coming from out of town.

The water resort was not crowded, there was plenty of lounge chairs, and different activities for all ages. Perfect if you dont like the large crowds of the big parks.

Horrible hotel, no windows in the rooms, infested with bugs, only allow one key per guest, overpriced for what it is. Avoid.

First time staying here. No microwave or chair Arrived Friday it's now Saturday and the machine to make the door key card is STILL broke. You have to go back to the lobby & ask someone to let you in unless you see a staff member. The large water park play area was shut off for our safety just before the rain & lightening on Friday. At 11a on Saturday until approximately 4p the whole system was shut down. The number of guest exceeds being able to enjoy the water area comfortable even without the pandemic. Can't imagine what this is like under normal circumstances. The online photos overrated the actually hotel & water park. Room is general to say the least. The management & staff have tried to accommodate the situation but when paying I don't give them accommodating currency. This is the 2nd bad experience I've had using Take3 Getaway. They're available accommodations has declined greatly.

Booked a room last minute because the other motel we booked cancelled our reservation. The grounds look good and it has plenty of parking, actually has come out cheaper. There is a big arcade two restaurants and a little tiki bar. The water park is extra fun especially for our kids. It has enough for little little ones and tweens, Adults will have fun as well. They are extra cautious about weather and will close the water park for the slightest dark clouds but safer than sorry. Recommend getting a pool side or water park side rooms worth the extra 20 bucks. There is a lot with in walking distance and easy to find.

Not a good experience. Hotel was not clean and amenities need to be upgraded/updated. Staff at the restaurant and water park was not friendly.

Great place to stay. Has built in resort. Location was great; plenty of parking

This hotel almost ruined our vacation. Rooms were old and smelled. Housekeeping didn't come sometimes till after 7:00 PM. Needed updated and floors were so dirty we needed to wear shoes in the room. Offered shuttle to parks but only certain times and once you were at the parks, couldn't get back to hotel for 8-10 hrs, and first come first serve on buses. Very disappointing experience. Location was great and staff was kind. Worse experience!

BEDBUG HEAVEN!!
Stayed for 3 nights & my family of 3 left with 12 bites!! We know for a fact it was bedbugs!

The pool had a weird grime around the sides, most vending machines didn't work, the floor was so dirty, the babies with us got black knees from crawling around... loud, crowded, smelled like mildew, beds didn't have all bedding on them... for the price I paid there, I could have stayed at the Gaylord Palms (seriously, it was the exact same, but I let someone else pick the resort). AND my car got dinged in the parking lot.

Not okay at all. Don t bring your family here if you are looking to relax. Dirty rooms, room cleaning only available if you stay over 5 nights, the swimming pool filtration system does not support the amount of people using it. By 1pm the pool water is very cloudy. People that are not staying at hotel are allowed to come and use the water park paying a fee. So it s not for guest only. The credit card system stopped working on Thursday, we left Sunday and still was not working. One bartender at the bar for 100 s of people there. Terrible experience. Pay the extra 50-80$ and stay at universal cabana. I tried to give this place a try and it was horrible. Next time, back to universal cabana. Way better. I hate to leave bad reviews but this place sure deserves it.. horrible!

This motel~like establishment is out~dated, dirty and does not have hot water. The linens were stained and the small towels smelled bad. I was definitely unhappy with the "resort" and will not return.

This was our first time visiting and it was horrible. First my husband's glasses were stolen. Then after only 3 hours they closed because of the "thunderstorm" and no refunds were given. So disappointed, thought my children wound like it they did not. Lifeguard's did not do a good job. Allowing kids to jump in the pool in the 3 feet area hitting my daughter. Really not what I thought.

Sheets and towels was dirty and had stains. Water park was ok. Customer Service was ok. Rooms was a little dated we had the king.

Great value for the Dollar. Lots of lifeguards so you can enjoy your pina coladas and actually relax while your kids have a ball.

We have stayed at coco key at least 20x. If we had an issue with anything they would correct it....well I guess a lot has changer we paid for 2 nights for are sons birthday and when we got are room the a.c. was not working. Well I was confident that it would be took care of cause they had in the past...i guess that is not the protocol anymore so I tried to call and no answer so I walked down to front desk and they said someone would be here in 30 mins...nothing walked back down again and they said a supervisor would be here...finally he comes after 1.5 hours and said yep it's broke I will move u here to a different room.....no question asked and moved us...and just so u know we drove over 3 hrs to get here and here we are at 10 pm at night just getting into are room...this place is really going down hill.....customer service = maintenance guys= .(maintenance guys understand better then customer service )

Tv was broken they had to replace it, the mini fridge did not get cold, the AC in the room did not work and was obviously broken. Tried calling the front counter and maintance no answer went to the lobby no one could be found called the online number and guess what no answers had to leave a message still no fixed ac and no call back

This place is terrible I don t know how to post pictures on this but I would if I could. Blood on the sheets asked them to change the sheets, we left and came back to sheets just being flipped to the other side. ROACHES everywhere I don t care if I m next to a pool there shouldn t be roaches in a room I m paying loads to stay in. Why is there mold on the walls and poo in toilet when I first walk into the room, and greated with a fowl stench that filled the room. How is this place still open? To top it off there was a used condom behind the bed. Wish this was all fake no WiFi or internet connection in back rooms by pool unless you are outside

Upon entering the room it smelled very bad. I have not dared to walk barefoot. The sheets are dirty. The bathtub had spots of some unknown substance. The problem is not lack of remodeling, it is lack of cleaning.

Spend a few extra bucks and go somewhere else. Don't let the "waterpark" fool you. The website makes the resort look much more appealing than it really is.

The resort is filthy. It's extremely noisy 24 hrs a day. Just about everything in our room was broken. Only one outlet worked so there was a power strip plugged into it.

The coffee coffee machine had a disgusting thick slime layer on the inside. I cleaned the heck out of it before trying to use it. In the end, it didn't work anyway. I called the front desk and asked if we could get a comp coffee the first morning after discovering this and the answer was "you can get a coffee, but it ain't going to be free." So I asked for a new coffee maker for our room. She replied that house keeping wasn't in yet. It was 7:30a. So I asked for our machine to be swapped out when they do get in. When we got back to our room that evening... same machine.

There were multiple physically broken items in the room with jagged plastic and other material.

The air conditioner! Oh my dear Lord the air conditioner sounded like a helicopter having epileptic seizures! Every night my husband got up numerous times to take the cover off and bang on the fan to make it stop squealing. Worst nights sleep ever (5 nights in a row!).

Leaky faucet in the tub. The toilet barely flushed. The hallway (including our room when we got there) was about 90 degrees at 90% humidity. It was cool breezy and 70 degrees for the high the week we went. The air was so thick in the tower that our carpet make our feet damp when we first got there.

When we made out reservations including Sea World, Aquatica and Busch Gardens tickets, we were also promised free direct shuttles to each. Nope. There were free direct shuttles to Universal only. We took paid public transportation and 3rd party shuttles all week totaling an additional $50 for an expense that was supposed to be already covered.

When our ride picked us up to take us to the airport asked us how our vacation was, I just started laughing. He looked at me and said, "Ya, so I've heard."

The 1st building does not have an elevator. Make sure you are ready to climb stairs otherwise request 1st floor. I had to because my mom walks with a cane.

Place sucks !!! First of all the water park is only open from 11am to 5pm the only pool that's open after that is the main pool and the pool is sooo small . The water is Dirty the hotel Rooms are Dirty is a run down Motel with a few water slides. This place is a nightmare. The front Desk clerk is so dumb can't even connect u to ur Friends Room. Was the biggest mistake of my Life coming here. Don't be fooled this place is not worth it . You pay Cheap u get Cheap.

Close proximity to SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove. Rooms are decent. Wifi signal works better outside the room, by the pool. Overall, a good deal.

We will never stay here again. We arrives and within 4 hours had to get 3 different rooms. Staff is very unprofessional maintance man comes into fix things and uses inappropriate language. We came from over 20 hours away

Horrible time not a place for people without kids. They do not refund you for rainy days. Even though they choose the water park and pools.

The rooms look old and it looks like a regular hotel the only thing that's special about it is the little water park and the arcade and tiki bar

Poor service. Room had a constant drip in the shower. Room smelled like mildew. Park was okay but the hotel itself is horrible. I wouldn t recommend it to anyone.

Need to fix there WiFi and boiler problem, other than that it was a great vacation.

Small price for tons of fun! It was my second time there and I plan to keep going. My son wants to do his birthday there now. Can't wait to go back.

Key cards wouldnt work. Had to have security let us in everytime we get back to our room. Water park was amazing tho but better customer services is needed.

Ok so let me start off by saying my family and I will NEVER be staying at this resort again .... Resort?! It s a hyped up motel. The rooms were filthy, the pools were loaded with hair and bugs... the water park & arcades were really nice except the water park was closed down several times daily for hours at a time bc of rain or cleaning and the toddler area was overrun by teenagers. We got a room near the pool which had a bar so okay that s a plus maybe EXCEPT the bar was NEVER opened. We were placed in a tiny room that was shown online to us as something much different aka King Deluxe, right?! Not even close - we were told by a supervisor that we would be upgraded by a certain time and she never called us back until Monday night and we were leaving two days later. We had to call constantly for toilet paper, they had two working tv channels when the internet wasn t down... service was absolutely horrendous and no one there was nice. Never ever again.

I can't say enough about the kindness of the staff and the hotel and waterpark. First off we had to find a hotel due to our power outtage from hurrican Irma. I came alone with my kids and figured we'd have some fun and enjoy a/c. We ate dinner at the calypso cafe and water was leaking from the ceiling due to the hurricane but they made us food and got us whatever we needed. The next morning I was informed we may not have power another night so I extended my stay to learn that my power came back 30 minutes after I booked another night . I quickly went back to the front desk to plea for my money back but not once did I have to beg. The man refunded my night without hesitation. We ended up enjoying a nice day at the water park and I told a lifeguard how I wished I could take my daughter on the bigger slides, but couldnt because I had my 3 year old son. The lifeguard said I will watch him by me so you can go. I of course could not do that because my son would have a fit if I left his side, but how nice of him to offer! Ok one more thing... while in the arcade my kids had tickets to spend on prizes and my daughter got a ring pop and of course her little brother wanted one too but we didn't have enough tickets. I was adament that he had to pick something else but the man just gave him a ringpop anyways. Again the kindness of the staff was top notch!!! Also the resort was clean and nice as well! Thanks! :)

The hotel room air was not working the room was very small the red and white water slide had barley any tubes and the blue and orange one hurt my back also some of the pieces were missing in the room there was no holy bible and that was all the bad things.

Well, very crowded, dirty, lack of staff(long line but only one staff at the lobby),
The worst part is that water smells likr pee.
I complained but the staff didnt care.

You CANNOT find any sunbed or chair. I walked around the entire area several times but couldnt find one single chair. So i left my stuff on the floor and obviously my dry cloths got wet when i came back.

I do not recommend this place. I rather go to swimming pool in my Apt.
Or There are other better places for the similar price.

We got there from England late at night and was told we hadnt paid for a room so there was none so after 4 calls to the uk we was told they were sorry it was there mistake and they would have us are two rooms in the morning

I'm not saying we hate the place but we're just disappointed with some crews by not allowing my husband to use a slides with his swimming shoes on. We saw some kids wearing those swimming shoes and they let them enjoy the slides, I mean what's the difference? This is our 2nd time to visit here and could be our last .

Nice pool area. Ok rooms. Really bad information from the stuff working there everything sounds better from them. Good hotell, rooms and pool area.
