I can't say enough about the kindness of the staff...

I can't say enough about the kindness of the staff and the hotel and waterpark. First off we had to find a hotel due to our power outtage from hurrican Irma. I came alone with my kids and figured we'd have some fun and enjoy a/c. We ate dinner at the calypso cafe and water was leaking from the ceiling due to the hurricane but they made us food and got us whatever we needed. The next morning I was informed we may not have power another night so I extended my stay to learn that my power came back 30 minutes after I booked another night . I quickly went back to the front desk to plea for my money back but not once did I have to beg. The man refunded my night without hesitation. We ended up enjoying a nice day at the water park and I told a lifeguard how I wished I could take my daughter on the bigger slides, but couldnt because I had my 3 year old son. The lifeguard said I will watch him by me so you can go. I of course could not do that because my son would have a fit if I left his side, but how nice of him to offer! Ok one more thing... while in the arcade my kids had tickets to spend on prizes and my daughter got a ring pop and of course her little brother wanted one too but we didn't have enough tickets. I was adament that he had to pick something else but the man just gave him a ringpop anyways. Again the kindness of the staff was top notch!!! Also the resort was clean and nice as well! Thanks! :)
