The only medical insurance that is taken for granet. You can go pretty much anywhere with it....listen to me when i say this...IT IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICES FAULT THAT U DON'T GET THE INSURANCE....ITS THE GOVERNMENTS FAULT. DONT GO DISRESPECTING SOMEONE YOU NO NOTHING ABOUT. THEN MAYBE THEY MIGHT HELP YOU OUT. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT WHO DECIDES IF YOU GET IT OR NOT....SOMEONE HIGHER UP DECIDES SO DONT BE RUDE.

The providers on there website do not accept their insurance. No providers take this insurance if it is purchased through the market place but they will accept it no problem they are the Medicaid provider. I would not recommend at all. Few providers if any the website is falsified information and misleading you to think they have providers in your local area until you need something done.

This place is a TRAIN WRECK. Amazing that it exists. Terrible customer service, long wait times, rude employees. Can't get anything accomplished. Still trying to get a refund for an approved claim (the claim took 7 months to get approved and Ive been waiting for my refund for 3 months). I've probably had to call 20 times at least to get things fixed that were billed incorrectly, etc. Always told the wrong thing. None of the employees seem to know what is going on. Never waited on hold less than 30 minutes, and have spent 3 hours on the phone more than once. Numerous providers listed on their provider page are not actual providers leading to "out of network" charges. Whole place is seriously a disaster. The worst encounter Ive ever had with an insurance provider, which is saying something.

This company has the WORST infrastructure of any company out there. I have been calling them for over a month to get my client a set of Id cards. We have made been transferred, hung up one, sent to the "wrong person" or wrong dept on almost every call and they have little to no resolution

Care source will deny coverage for anything and everything.They denied a knee brace After I had a orthoscopic surgery(900.00).Also denied my Son braces for 3 years and now he has to get several teeth extracted, and this should have been taken care of years ago! Stay away from them!Shame on Caresource for treating its coustomers this way!

responsive to my mental health needs Calling to check on me during depression times, checking on my mental health status... Sending forms, and lists of health facilities that except CarSource... Translation to doctors appointments, Physical therapy etc... I fell that my case mgrs. Genuinely have my best interest at heart... I would recommend CareSource to any of friends

I applied to a position here which I was completely over qualified for. Had a phone interview with Angel Hester, complete waste of time and negative energy. She was very rude, curt and seemed upset that she even had to interview me from the first few words that came out of her mouth. Her tone was unwelcoming as if she was apathetic about doing her own job. She asked me the same question in multiple ways and somewhat offended me. I am a very polished educated professional and I have a wealth of experience. I have no interest in a company that would put someone like this on the frontline to demoralize people that may not "sound" like the race that they were looking for. Her attitude is repugnant and you should probably consider putting an ad in on indeed for a new talent acquisition specialist as well as a senior admin.

Awful. Website regularly locks me out, claims dept has lost or thrown away my paperwork (nothing on file), will not allow me to legally change my name on paperwork.
Update 4/29/16
The paperwork they send you ("this is what cs convered for you ") is almost always a pack of lies. They claim it's covered and then you get the Dr. Bill. Not talking about CO pay. I mean the WHOLE bill.
Get different ins if you can!!!!

Horrible insurance its almost like not having any at all. There are hardly no doctors in the Dayton area that will even accept this insurance. Especially Dentist, good like finding one. I had horrible fillings done that fell apart before a year and I had to go because it was the only dentist I could find to accept this insurance. I haven't been able to find a good family doctor I can connect with in years and im 25. Ive had caresource for 3 years and its been the worst insurance ive ever had.

I signed up though the market place put in all the requested info such as doctor and types of medication, made my $275 payment and waited until January until I could pick up my prescription. January comes and I was told I need a pre authorization, two weeks later I was told that insurance would only cover a $100 of a my $400 dollar medication, then I went to another doctor that was covered under marketplace and was told that I would've to go out of pocket, so I immediately canceled my insurance. When I canceled I was told I would be refunded I just got off the phone 2.5 months later and was told that I would not be refunded. CareSource and Indiana healthcare is a joke. They used the 14 days to cancel line on me, so now I am out $275 for getting no help at all. The market place website is misleading and is a complete mess. Really disappointed is an understatement now I am without insurance and back to square one. CareSource only cares about their fine print and not the customer.

Consider this... You sign up for a plan that has the physicians/medical group that you have been using. You pay 450 a month for said plan. You get a letter stating that they won't cover claims for this group (Premier Health Partners) and there are four months left for that term/contract. You are out of luck and must find new doctors.

Awesome job CarelessSource. On the phone they will empathize with you and "understand" your frustration. They don't care.

My experience with Caresource has been horrible. They said they sent me a termination letter in the mail on Feb. 2, the date is now Feb. 11. They said it will take 7-10 business days to mail. I dont understand that because if they are based in Dayton or Cinny or wherever and I'm in Xenia why should it take that long. I don't understand that.

This is the worst insurance company ever. They have my account so screwed up but I can't talk to anyone in Finance because, "they don't have phones over there." None of the customer reps know what they are talking about. The supervisors also know nothing. They routinely tell me they will escalate things or put in an "urgent" request but they don't. They say they will call me back. They don't. They terminated me despite being fully paid up. I couldn't get my meds. How are they even in business?? I filed a complaint with the BBB which contacted CareSource twice for response--nothing. CareSource is BAD NEWS.

Out of the large number of plans Caresource presen...

Out of the large number of plans Caresource presented with the best coverage for said premium and is networked with fair amount of doctors and hospitals in greater dayton area. HOWEVER, my current problem is speaking to a representative that actual knows what they are talking about. Several times I've spoken to reps and a manager to resolve discrepancies on account with them coming up with all kinds of nonsense to act like they answer your questions or dispute. So far they've had issues with there website and receiving online payments resulting in attempting to charge extra payments. Spoken to caresource a total of 4 times all about 2-3 hours over the span of 3 months with the same result of them realizing they had made a mistake and will have the finance department correct it. Every Time they state they will call within 7-10 days. Then never do, and every time I call they have no record of my previous calls. Its great insurance if you don't mind being charged double payments and left with no recourse due to the wonderful government.......

Out of the 4,000 employees, if 200 (your exaggerated estimate) are from a particular country, why are you getting a heartburn? You didn't get an offer for a full-time position? Well, that's on you. Don't blame anyone else for your ineptitude.
The rest of the employees are Americants, few Chines, a lot of Indies, maybe some mexiCons, but hey what does it matter to you personally? Go to your local Taco Bell and Dunkin Donuts (your other negatively reviewed establishments) and continue bothering the employees there; leave CareSource and Nepali people alone.

I even sent them an ins. claim certified mail return receipt that they said they never received even though I have the signed acknowledgement. I wish I could give them a 0 or negative. Buy American; Hire American. How much longer should Americans suffer for your profit, CareSource? Aren t you supposedly a non-profit organization?
100 s of local Ohio and Dayton based IT jobs are being looted by people in positions of power in this company for personal profit.
Directors and Vice Presidents are demoting and putting unwarranted pressure on American workers enough to lose their peace of mind at the workplace and ultimately their jobs; these are people who have been working at the company for years. People have lost their livelihood because of people working for their own profit and agendas. Very soon all these jobs will be given to offshore and onshore contracting companies - Infosys, TCS and Cognizant. It has begun and has started to take root, to be honest.
American citizen contracts are getting terminated but contractors are being hired - everyone from immigration-based vendor companies like Infosys/Cognizant who are funneling people with Vice President Satyam Singh s support and ties to Infosys.
Why are you allowing for a cluster of under and unqualified people take away all our Ohio based US jobs? Because you can make money on them (a minimum $20/Hr. margin to the hiring company at least apparently!) with NO Questions asked and who will do all your work for you? Is the reason you strong arm them into short term contracts with 1-2-month extensions so they will be on their toes and at your beck and call?
You have no right to call at 8am on a Saturday to demand a status update when there is no issue. I m looking at you Ganesh Updadhay. One person in his team colleague had to take a 6-month mental health break because of you while you bask in your mediocre nepotistic accolades. What sadistic pleasure do you derive from your workplace bullying and power games? I understand you were brought in by Satendra Shukla. What is you relation to him? Because I remember many qualified applicants were rejected in favor of you.
Satyam Singh, Satendra Shukla - why do you cover up and protect these people who propagate such attitudes in the workplace? Is it because you are a nepotist? Why and where are you people bringing all these Infosys, Cognizant contractors from? Do you guys get any sort of benefits with these companies?
Especially the new VP Satyam Singh. Why is a person who does not know how to manage people, in order to project himself further by getting credit from the CEO, having a special Interest in Infosys? Who else has interest in TCS? When unemployment and immigration is becoming a major issue, instead of looking towards fellow Americans to fill these jobs in these troublesome and trying times, you let them suffer for a quick buck in your pocket. Cognizant even had a data breach, a company who should be heavily involved in safeguarding and following American HIPAA rights got shut down for two weeks for a data breach. THIS is the company you want to give my data to protect.
Our local Ohio and American jobs are no longer available to unemployed citizens because of people like you. There are 40 MILLION Americans who are looking for jobs RIGHT NOW and you justify being an American company and what you do by outsourcing these jobs out? Americans cannot apply to these companies since the staffing vendor companies keep sourcing candidates at abysmal rates. Of course, a $30/hr contract is enough for an Infosys vendor employee. How can we compete with these people? How can you expect we support our family on this, Cognizant/TCS/Infosys?

CareSource, PLEASE stop putting American families and our livelihoods at risk.

I will be doing my part by reporting all the people who are in this company through nepotism.

CareSource's credentialing department is almost nonexistent when it comes to communication. Their customer service has also been hit or miss. Just this past week a customer service representative was very rude and actually hung up on me. Maybe response is better in Ohio, but I don't recommend credentialing with them until they can streamline communication better.

They must be paying for their new building. For 2019, they upped my premium to MORE than double per month. And office visits, specialists, ER, and urgent care went up $10, $20, $50, and $75 respectively. Are you kidding me? Every year the premiums went up a TINY bit. This is ATROCIOUS. Their customer service has also gone down since 2015. They deny claims they say are acceptable. I ve nevwr had to fill out more appeal forms in my life. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

My specialist, I think his name was Jeremy, was so kind and attentive. He called me pharmacy immediately and worked everything out so I can go get them while reassuring me everything was okay throughout the whole thing. Every phone representative should take notes from him!

Would not recommend working in the call center. Due to management's bully-mentality, I am driven to isolate myself by working from home. I do not feel comfortable in that environment anymore and feel that the only option that I have to keep my job and enjoy it is staying home and away from the actual job location. There's no one that I can talk to as there is never any feedback and rush to help. You're more likely to have someone in your face for what you did wrong than have someone come to you when you reach out with your concerns. I've tried numerous times to tell people that the perfume is giving me an allergy reaction and nothing has been done about it. I'm tired and fed up and honestly feel trapped and unwanted at this company. But I need to support myself. Every day I go home in tears because it feels hopeless at Caresource.

The pay is nice at the expense of having your soul and energy sucked out of you.

As soon as my husband gets a new job, I will report a life change and they will lose us as customers. I hope that company goes under because they do not deserve to serve the community. I made a payment for the month of February, and I set up auto pay thinking it would start next month. NO! They took out 2 payments! I tried calling, and they said it was applied to March. When I said that wasn't my intention, they stated they wouldn't give me my money back. The only way I could get it back is to cancel my insurance. These people don't care. I was interrupted several times on the phone and spoken over as the woman got louder. They also didn't document a case I filed against a very sketchy dentist office that messed my teeth up and charged for procedures which were not done. I spent over an hour "filing a complaint" that I was supposed to get a call back about and I waited over a month so I called them and they dont even have my complaint on file.

They fail to send medical cards, fail to send the bills then when you talk to them they say they dont have your pmt. When you offer to make ANOTHER pmt they say they cant take the pmt at this time.

CareSource has done wonderful things for me, the folks on the phone have always been very kind to me.... however; I will say. Not all of them are equal. If you are asking a question that they can t answer or if they tell you something that doesn t sound right, ask to speak to someone else. I had a small issue with a claim and a doctors office was sending me bills. I called CareSource no less than 3 times, and was even told to call the doctors office and ask them to... set themselves up to be paid through CareSource or something??? On the last call, I spoke to Danielle, who was AWESOME. You could tell that she genuinely cared about her customer service, and boy did she know her stuff! She explained that the company had filled out their paperwork incorrectly and that they needed to resubmit the claim. Neither of the other gals had been able to figure that out, and they told me repeatedly that the office was out of network... CareSource is open network. Period. Danielle explained to me that even if they tried to send me to collections, all I had to do was go to the office and get proof of insurance for that time and bam, no case. Now my bill is paid in full, and Danielle gets 5/5 stars!! Thank you so much!!!!

Lets start with the star being a minus 1. Customerservice is the most uninformed under paid employees in the industry. The provider lists are consistantly out dated, with only 50% of them actually being in practice. Urgent care facilitys are a joke if there are even any. The miliage in the directy of providers is made up by some point only they know because it sure isn't what mapquest or google maps list as miliage. Told lie after lie then basicaly ordered where to seak care. Gum chewing, lip smacking customerservice rep talks down to people like she has authority over customers lives or the choices they make. The game of just changing representatives when you ask to speak to supervisor is another pain when trying to gather information. If something don't change soon will not make another payment, that is the only way to make them notice.

Spent half an hour with two separate representatives trying to verify whether my provider is still supported, got different answers from each. After verifying my entire information for a second time, I was told to call the provider directly, rather than following their own directions to call caresource first for verification. Further, in asking where to locate my closest urgent care facility, I was given locations in WI and IL (I live in OH), and warned that going to an urgent care facility will cost me 'a pretty penny.' Overall a time consuming and utterly unhelpful experience; not sure where to turn to find a provider or verify coverage at this point.

BEWARE OF JOB SCAMS! A malicious party decided to use this company as the face for their scam, offering unsuspecting people, from what I assume was a pool of random job applications found online, jobs that pay unrealistic salaries with at-home work schedules. Unfortunately, I fell victim to such an event but luckily noticed the warning signs. First, the email that was sent to me had no logo, no company address, and no contact information. The sender and the "interviewer" had very generic gmail accounts and persuaded me to do an interview via INSTANT MESSAGE. All documents that were sent to me from these people were created in Microsoft word with fake signatures that did not match the names below and a copy/pasted logo. Instructions and writing on their side was grammatically incorrect, something a reputable company would surely not condone, and they refused to conduct any conversations in person or over the telephone. I was able to squeeze as much information out of these devious thieves as I could. Of course, in the end I needed to "make payments for the equipment necessary for the job."

UNACCEPTABLE customer service. I called three different times at different times of the day trying to get an answer to a billing problem. All times I'm left on hold for 20 minutes. I never did get to talk to a human. This is unacceptable. There should be enough customer service personnel to assist customers in a more reasonable time. In other dealings with this company, I get the impression that they don't have it all together.

They are the most difficult company i have ever worked with. Their customer service is awful and they will not return drop calls. In my area the doctors choices are limited and have to travel further than I will like too. The only reason they have 2 stars it is because they are cheap. You will get what you pay for!

If I had another option, I would drop these clowns tomorrow. Pathetic coverage, argumentative customer service, and a mission to not cover any procedure unless fought with over it. I despise this company, it is the worst insurance I have ever had. Hardly any doctors around me will take it (probably cause they re just as awful to the doctors) , the staff is hard headed and willing to argue with you about anything, and I have had to pay more out of pocket than I ever had. I have the gold plan, so I am dumping money into this, and I am still treated like a rat every time I try and talk to them. They also just UPED THEIR PRICE for no good GD reason, so now I get to pay more for next to no coverage. AVOID THIS COMPANY IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. I am not sure what would be more expensive at this time, just dropping this excuse for insurance and paying the full doctors bills and government fine, or continuing to dump money on a monthly basis to still pay for more than half of my doctors visits.

Took them over a year to get me an insurance card. Routinely sent me invoices for incorrect premium amounts. They still have my ex-wife's name on my paperwork, even though she isn't on my policy. Finally, the one time I had to go to the emergency room and NEEDED their insurance, they refused to pay. Spend your money elsewhere.

I had an unresolved issue regarding my medication, no fault of Care source, but the representative by the name of Pam that I spoke with earlier today was so amazing. She was warm, attentive, sympathetic, professional and very courteous. She's probably by far the best representative with Care Source I've ever encountered, or better yet the best rep I've ever encountered period. I wish I could give her a direct "shout out", but the least I was able to do was take a survey regarding her performance with me today. Great job Care Source! She's a deffinate keeper. Give her employee of the month or something . Thanks Pam. I genuinely appreciate people like you.

I have not had any issues with speaking to this co...

I have not had any issues with speaking to this company about my insurance plan. They are always friendly and willing to help. If the representative I am speaking to does not have the answer, they find someone who does.

One down side of having this insurance, is with tier 1 medication they do not cover them. You will have to pay full price out of pocket. You will need to find another company or program to go through to get your expensive medication covered.

Worst Management! In order to improve it, they need to remove Babu Shreshta from Caresource. He is bringing fake employees by using his power of hiring them and making tons of money by not paying them enough money. He gets around 90 dollars per hour from Caresource and paying 25 to his hired employees. Many other peo6ple are supporting him within a company. Caresource should put an investigation on this and get this investigated as soon as possible.

It's a nice building, and nearly everyone I've met has been friendly. The intersection of main and monument where people SHOULD be crossing has A LOT of people run the red lights, have to pay attention to multiple lanes of traffic before crossing. This area could benefit a lot from an elevated walkway to cross at, many of the employees don't use the crosswalk.

I would give 0 starts if I could. I have had to file complaints with the department of insurance. The customer service representatives are completely incompetent and rude, whatever they pay them is too much. This is our only option as self employed people, and they know it and take advantage of it. This company is complete garbage.
