The store in Stone Mountain Georgia has a very rude and unprofessional manager name David #943, prior to my very negative experience with David I only had good things to say. I complained to corporate and they did not follow through.

she want me to wait 5 hours.
I asked her where is washroom and she said it's not for public. never had experience like that. Worse There is no option for Zero Star.

Below is the account of out experience at the Pompano store. I called corporate today and they let us know that the store employee was wrong and they are going to replace the moldy food:

We purchased a large bag of Nutro Essentials on August 20, 2019 in Pompano. Less than 1 moth later it has started to mold. We have it stored inside, in an airtight container.

Our dog was sick for several days last week and we had to take her to the vet this past Monday morning.

It is a 30 pound bag and there is still 25 pounds left. We called the store as we still have the receipt and wanted to make sure we could return it.

My girlfriend is the one who first spoke with "Sara" . My girlfriends English is not perfect. Sara took full advantage of that fact and direct my girlfriend to call Nutro and let them deal with it and ended the conversation.

I called back to verify that she would not accept the return, she directed me to call corporate in Sunrise. She said that my girlfriend told her that we have little of the food left which she never said. Sara may have misunderstood her. Again, we have 25 of the 30 pounds left. She told us that she doesn't have any proof of how we stored our food. I told her I would bring the 25 pounds back in the container it's in so she can see for herself. See attached pics.

We have to purchase new food tonight and it would have been great to go there and take care of it in one shot. For sure we will not be going back to this Pet Supermarket ever. Be careful shopping here! The food may mold, your animal could get sick and then have to deal with the manufacture as the retailer is not taking ANY responsibility.

It looks like all the rules they have doesn t apply for themselves becouse you can be at the receiving desk to check in and you are totally ignored but they are to busy talking about personal matters that they don t figure that you are on time and trying to check management doesn t know what s going on here so bad for the company and I m here every week for delivery for last 5 plus years they are going from bad to worse I know they don t read comments but is ok

When I went into your store on Clark Rd., and was told you do not support local businesses ( especially now during the virus), very disappointed.

I purchased 20 cans of cat food for which I had 9 ...

I purchased 20 cans of cat food for which I had 9 coupons sent by Pet Supermarket for various pet supplies, several of them were for food and at least one of them should have applied to my purchase. Because my cans were not the same color as the ones pictured in the coupon(s) they would not accept them (one coupon for $1.00 and one for $1.50 for cat food...one for 30 cans and I would have purchased 30 and one for 6 cans). I even had the clerk ask the manager and he said no to the coupons. I went on and made the purchase but will getting my pet supplies from another pet store in the future. I hope it is worth it to a store to lose customers over a dollar. My family was with me and they will not be shopping there any longer either.

Can t stand the location on federal highway
(2111 north federal highway) (by south Broward high school)
The employees are horrible, I went in there because I had a problem with the product I bought there and the manager just blew me and the problem off. There is one employee there (black gentleman) who is probably the only NICE and KNOWLEDGEABLE person in that awful place. forgive me but I forgot his name.
The store speaks for itself, there s never anyone there. I just go there because it s convenient for me because I live right down the street. But from now on I will travel to Oakwood plaza and shop there. At least the employees will be friendly and knowledgeable.
I honestly feel like if you love your animals (cats, dogs, birds, fish etc) go to another store.

Went Tuesday to get some supplies for my foster pup that just had surgery, Spent $70 no employee around to help which is the same issue I had at my last visit
Went to the rescue that I foster for to pick up other supplies and gave them the receipt from my purchase that Tuesday. Not even an hour later I realized that I had picked up the wrong size Kong cloud collar, upon returning to pet supermarket store the same clerk that checked me out on the register would not refund or return the item for the correct size because I had no receipt as I just left it with the rescue.
I left the store went and obtained the receipt returned and the clerk would not refund my cash money unless I became a VIP member!
Tara, the clerk had to call Rita the manager for information on how to process the return, all the while Tara was on a second phone with a personal conversation that caused me to be there 25 minutes

the last time and my injured pup had to wait through all of this, it just had hip replacement surgery from being hit by a car
This is not the experience I expected from pet supermarket to be treated rudely and for poor service as well as the employee having personal conversations on the phone while she s speaking with the manager and trying to help me and my situation
Waiting for your response from corporate before I go any further thank you

New location on 88th Street and 107th Avenue, Miami, Fl 33176. This is my second visit to this new location, first they wouldn't accept a merchandise coupon becaus I was using price match mind you that at the old location they did. Today they would accept the price match from Chewy because the cans were not in a package and that price is only for packages. I was taking twelve cans. Left without the food. You are loosing business customers like me are going to Pet Smart and Petco.

I live in Key West ,Fl, I just adopted a kitten the day before Thanksgiving from Petsupermarket through the FKSPCA. there were two brothers, I can only have two pets where we live, and at present I also have a 17 yr old cat. When I went back in to your store I was met by a very nice lady who told another lady that We I wanted to get one of the kittens, Who in a lower voice said that they wanted to adopt them both to the same home, After a brief conversation the nicer lady said isn't it better to give one a new home rather than neither of them?

I was really upset I had already picked Campbell, Now I was on a guilt trip. And was considering not getting him because she told me that They would not be open Thanksgiving day and the other would be lonesome. My daughter was driving me around that day hunting for a Cat or kitten I could adopt. And she was leaving the next day to travel home. I did however get Campbell and we just love him. I would have taken both and still feel bad that I wasn't able to do so.

But I feel that it is improper to make your customers feel uncomfortable in wanting to make a purchase, especially when it comes to a living animal. It was told to me 3 times that they didn't want to separate them. I'm not writting this to be rude, I just think a class in customer service would benefit this person. I understand her thinking, But in the end we ended up with a loving Kitten. and my vet said yesterday campbell is mostly a Bombay cat. All black and goldish copper eyes. A real LOVE.

I have 4 dogs. They eat nitro. Every time I need food. I buy 2 cases every 2 weeks they DONT HAVE IT. TELL ME WEARHOUSE HAVING ISSUES. ALL E STORES TELL ME THAT. I HAD TO BUY DIFF FOOD ONE TIME AND THAY ALL HAD ISDUES. HOW HARD IS IT TO STOCK YOUR STORES. TIRED OF DRIVING TOB4 DIFF STORES. AND THEIR NOT CLOSE TOVEACH OTHET. GOING ELSEWHERE AFTER 20 YEARS.

I tried to return an item back when Covid started and they told me they are not accepting returns. I asked when can I return.. he said when covid is over.. so now I went to return my item and they said I could not get cash back they had to give me a gift card. That sucks.. I don't like shopping in their stores anymore because they are to expensive.. I even called corporate and they told me the same thing.

The store manager in Port St. Lucie On morning side Blvd is very rude and it is because of her that I want to take my money somewhere the manager actually cares about their customers . I asked her the same question a few times before she finally acknowledged me and began making fun of me with her coworkers. What kind of manager ignores a customer and then makes fun of them?

Today we traveled from Miami to BRADENTON by car. ...

Today we traveled from Miami to BRADENTON by car. Went to pet supermarket on 40th St. and 105th Ave. (store 192) in Miami to buy a car harness for my 40 pound Siberian Husky. The staff at the MIAMI store lacked knowledge and wherewithal and sold us the easy Rider harness without the harness. It was the only large in stock. When brought to staff s attention that it was missing the harness, staff did absolutely nothing and instead implied that the large came without the harness although the instructions right on the box clearly provided for the placement of the harness as indicated in the photo. We returned the item and was sold a collar in its place, despite the intended purpose. This lack of knowledge on their part and lack of desire to provide customer service by at least one staff member, set us back at least 40 minutes to an hour before allowing us to get on the road and STILL without what we needed. We made due. Upon arriving in BRADENTON, I immediately went to my local pet supermarket (store 250) to return the collar which served no purpose to tether my dog to the car safely for the ride. I was fortunate to be helped by Marisol Who immediately walked over to the harnesses with me and picked out the harness I needed which was the same one initially purchased at the Miami store, except this one included the harness as indicated on the packaging. The packaging of the Miami product was discolored and clearly had been returned without the harness and the Miami staff attempted to sell it without the harness. For $20 plus dollars, that s a huge shame on you on the Miami store management and staff. I could give Petsupermarket ZERO stars deserved based on our experience at the Miami store, but instead I preferred to turn this negative into a positive, hands down by Marisol of store 250 who is the reason for the 5 Star rating. Her knowledge of the product, the empathy shown for my frustration, and her excellence in quality customer service are commendable and appreciated by this longtime customer. I frequent Miami with my pup quite frequently. However, store 192 has ensured PetSmart and Petco will be our go to pet stores when in Miami. But Marisol and store 250 have guaranteed my patronage while in my hometown of Bradenton/Sarasota. Thank you Marisol for caring enough about my pet to sell me the right product with all of its contents to ensure his safety while traveling in the car.
