They never pick up or if you wish to speak to someone. Iv been trying for past 2weeks.

What a horrific company, not possible to speak to anyone. Appeal page doesn't work, court can't help.

I would have given 1 star only but credit where credit is due . Eventually they cancelled the invoice after proving that we were authorized to be parked in the medical centre and that my wife has cancer . Someone in this company must be human after all .

Absolutely scandalous, tried to pay, but arrived before the start time of the machine, it actually refused payment because I parked before charging hours.
When I returned, still within charging hours but less than 4 hours from the end of charging times. Stilll wouldn't accept payment. Assumed a faulty machine.

They've just taken the last money I have (via direct debit) leaving me with nothing to buy food with. Unable to work due to lockdown. The amount of stress and worry these people cause is shocking. The fact you cannot speak to anyone is surely illegal. Thieves. I have complained to the british parking association.

A company based in Liverpool sending parking charge for an offence that was suppose to happen in Oxford when I live in Scotland and was working when parking offence was suppose to have happened. Took letter to local police station and they informed me it was a scam and send them police officers name and incident number. After sending this information received letter cancelling parking charge. Take any letter you recieve to the police if you suspect its incorrect.

I have recently been sent a letter to say that I owe money through a CCJ. It is from a long time ago but it was a company car I had use of, at the time stated, so I would like to pay and have the CCJ gone off my recored. There is no customer service or ways to speak to anyone yet this review page seems to get some answers so please can someone let me know what I have to do to make this happen if I pay now in full. Is there any point in sending anything to this inbox or was this just to get me off Google? I can now see why the reviews are so hostile. If you are such a bonified company why can't you communicate with people you are demanding money from and have placed CCJs on?

Will provide update of any response or lack of. All I would like to do is pay and have the CCJ removed. God know how everyone gets on with contesting against these guys!

Disgusting scammers Pizza hut at castle bridge rd nottingham tell a group of friends they only need to register one car then you guys send out PCN to everyone the pizza hut agree to cancel one. We appealed with recipts to your company only for you to reject the appeal nice little scam you run between the companies.
In response to the company comments i was a legitimate customer at pizza hut and had a parking notice of this company their response just shows to me how unproffesional they are.

I ve paid twice because the payment line advised me there was a mistake with the first payment. How do I get a refund?

Finally managed to have some dialogue with someone at the company and I was racially abused. I'm utterly appalled and at the time I was deeply upset at thier behaviour, this was due to my refusal to pay regarding a legality they over looked. Fortunately I have been
professionally advised by a recognised legal representative.

I've tried to call the customer service line and because I do not have a parking charge notice I am unable to get through the first stage of the call.
I do not have this number as I have since moved from my previous property 2 years ago.
Any suggestions on how I can speak to an actual person?

Let me put it simply. I haven't got access to original letter with the PCN number on there. I have moved away since over 2 years the "offence" took place. Yet I had solicitors calling me up saying I need to make a payment, to something I thought I had dealt with already. As I don't live in said address I have no access to any letters you have been trying to send me.

Absolute conmen of the highest order. How they are actually allowed to trade is beyond me. I received a final warning PCN to an address I have not lived at for over 7 months.

I have written to their H/O twice demanding to see proof of my parking violation and the location in which it took place. I ve had no reply.

They claim on the website that the phone number on their website is staffed by operators. It is not, it simply takes you to the payment line. Their contact email is also unmanned and they automatically respond by trying to send you to their appeals department.

It is disgusting that they are allowed to get away with these disgusting tactics in this day and age. The fact that their website and literature is so misleading and carefully worded proves that they know just how disingenuous they are.

I am writing a review because it seems the only way people get a response from this company. I recieved a letter in the post nearly a year after the alleged breach of terms of parking. I have sent an appeal letter in the post to Civil Enforcement Address in Liverpool. Upon trying to check the status of the appeal I am greeted by an error message saying the details I have input are incorrect and to try again. When I try to call to speak to someone the only number they provide is for payments when I just want to discuss this PCN with someone. I hope someone from the company will respond to me but truly this is terrible customer service and given that you are supposed to contact someone within 28 days with a PCN I find it hard to understand why I recieved a letter 1 year later threatening court action.

Sent me a fine for waiting at my microblading place for 15 minutes. I missed my appointment and the microblading woman wasn't there when I got there to rearrange so I sat and ate a sandwich and now I've been sent a letter. Will certainly not be paying. Absolute scumbags.

I have been trying to contact this company for the last 2 weeks to no avail. I tried to use the website to appeal for someone to contact me but all my details are invalid apparently. How an earth do I speak to someone regarding this PCN as the information is incorrect.

Brentwood kitchen is only doing collection service where you can pull up pay at the window and they bring the food out to you due to COVID. So as aware you cannot enter any shops as either closed or window service. I ordered my lunch waited in car as was told and my food was brought out to me. Week later I get a fine. I challenge the fine and get told unsuccessful... how the hell is this right. There are no machines to use and you cannot access shops to use them.. makes no sense to me. 4 years ago I received a parking ticket as I was the regestired keeper of a car, my son was insured to drive it and at this time my grandson passed away just 4 weeks old, i had a life saving operation where I nearly died and then my wife had a stroke. We got in touch and explained it was my son who parked the car and explained could they deal with my son who told them it was him and not me and to deal with him as we were having a horrific time and dint need anymore stress. Just received a letter nearly 4 years later saying they had put a ccj against my name in 2018 which I knew nothing about. I tried ringing them but it wont let you speak to anyone just make payments so I sent them a later giving them y sons phone number a d email address to sort it out. Got letter back saying they have not received any of my correspondence and I have got to pay or further action will be taken. Today I have contacted a solicitor and the CAB and will be taking this further, cant believe what my family have been through that they can be so inconsiderate even after my son was the one using the car. Ps the casino in which he parked regularly started using this company and alot of customers had o ide that when they signed in they were ok to park. The casino have even said he shouldn't have got the ticket in the first place as there was no one on the desk to sign in so he just entered the casino. Absolute joke, complete scam! My other half received a parking fine 15 months after he was supposedly parked at the pub! We have sent letters and tried to appeal and the appeal tells us there is no such PCN number! Completely wasting our time. We will not be paying and will be seeking legal advice to take this higher. My PCN was eventually cancelled after I sent them numerous letters and made countless phone calls. However, their customer service has extremely poor communication. Firstly they never pick up the phone and it always goes to voicemail. I must have left half a dozen messages over several weeks asking them to get back to me, but no one did. They did not even respond to the letters that I was sending them via Special Delivery. Like I said, they have now cancelled my PCN, but being disabled myself with numerous underlying health conditions that also affect my mental health, their lack of communication, for an issue that should never have happened in the first place, caused my a lot of stress and worry.

If you are considering dropping someone off at the Novotel in Milton Keynes, be aware. The 20 minute parking limit without registration starts when you drive through the gate and not when you park. So if you have to wait to park, the clock is ticking. If you have elderly parents or any mobility issues or just a large party with cases, make sure they are out of the vehicle and you have "registered" your vehicle registration plate at reception before you reach the 20 minute mark. I received a PCN for being 56 seconds over the 20 minutes. There are photos supplied of my car entering and leaving via the main gate NOT IN A PARKING SPACE! They are a joke.

You have claimed I have parked somewhere I haven't. You are harassing me with letters increasing my fine. The only number you have provided is an automated one to pay the fine I should not pay. So where do i go from here? I want photographic evidence that I was apparently parked there as my car has not been cloned nor has anyone else used and parked my car. Absolutely shocking this company! I got a parking fine from a car that I sold prior to the fine and even when I sent them a letter appealing it they said that they basically don't believe me and that I am still liable for the debt! On top of that they are still sending me letters threatening legal action if I do not pay it! How about you check with the DVLA and you'll see I didn't have the car anymore! And there is no number to ring to just speak to someone, only a payment line! This is clearly a scam company that doesn't give options to appeal it, just to make you pay it!

I received a fine for parking in KFC, even though I was eating there.


The letter they sent said I had to pay within 14 days or third party collection agents would start debt recovery. They sent this letter via a slow postage service too as I got this letter 4 days after it was dated (Unless they date it a few days before just to give us no option).

Seeing the other reviews, I was actually quite lucky that I had some form of contact as others have been given a CCJ without realising.

The letter they send does not have a name who it is sent from, just a signature and from 'Civil Enforcement Limited', and the signature looks like someone's just scribbled on there.

There is no way to actually contact them, no email address, the website directs you to an appeals form (which they never get back to you, and once you've submitted it, you have no proof you have submitted as you don't get an email receipt). The phone number they give is purely for payment only, even when you pick the option to speak to someone.

There was a payment option to pay with Amex so I thought I would do this and then get Amex to charge it back as the parking fine was incorrect, however after entering my card number correctly 3 times, it kept telling me it was wrong then cut the phone off.

I've seen other people say that their payment methods do not work, so they deliberately can only take debit card, because they know a bank would be able to get the money back.



I will be looking for ways to report them as a company and look to get my money back, its horrific how they can do this to people.

Disgusting treatment. I tried to dispute the PCN charge but was given generic responses that didn't answer my questions posed. After responses stating that they were going to look into my questions asked they replied with another generic response stating that the PCN statnds with no explanantion. When i tried to contact Popla this was now out of the time fram to dispute as i was going back and forth with the civil enforcement directly. The Civil Enforcement is a scam!

I had parking tickets at hospital for some reason but after all i gave valid reason and explaination by writing they respected I learned and wont do same mistake next time and once again thanks u very much for gave me one more chance

Had a parking ticket which i was unaware of, moved house and all the letters got sent to the old house. i then found out about a CCJ in my name a few month later so rung up to pay the balance in full as to remove the CCJ, I've now found out 7 month later Civil enforcement haven't notified the county court to have it removed and i can't get hold of anyone. what a ridiculous company! its holding up my mortgage application. Please provide a contact number so i can get this sorted!!!

My elderly and recently widowed Mum received a parking ticket whilst arranging her late husbands funeral. Disgusting response to appeal as was asked to send death certificate and proof of circumstances. Seriously!! You can t email or speak to anyone and everything has to be done via snail mail (ie Royal Mail). This means that a response to appeal letter took 6 days to arrive which all counts to the 14 days. Mum has now received a letter back to say that proof was not received in time so appeal is not upheld. Absolutely appealing to add this level of stress to a frail and widowed pensioner

Now have a CCJ against my name (which has apparently been there for 2 years), did not hear a single thing about this until 2 weeks ago. Apparently a parking fine I knew absolutely nothing about - impossible to get hold of, would give 0 stars if I could.

Had a friend who had an anxiety attack when leaving to meet me to and eat and watch a film so i picked him up earlier and we arrived earlier than planned as any time alone would have made him worse. I get a 100 pound fine for the trouble as we stayed over the 5 hours and worst of all when appealing they never mentioned the incident and didn't care. Then they basicially bribed me by saying if i go to popla and still loose i have to pay the full charge as opposed to the reduced rate of 60 pounds. My vehicle was parked within the restaurant car park at the Rotunda in Glasgow whilst we were there for a meal. As per the signage within the car park, the vehicle was registered with the restaurant. To my surprise, a PCN was sent to my address. I therefore notified CE Ltd of there error, and advised that should they contact the restaurant for confirmation of my parking registration. I have receipts from my meal as further evidence etc. An additional letter has since been sent to my address threatening legal action.

In a court of law, it will therefore be deemed in my favor that the vehicle was parked legally, and there is an error with the PCN notice. No consideration has been taken with CE Ltd in my case - even though it is there own / system error.

If you get a ticket from these horrible bar stewards then the first step you should make is to call the landowner first. The land owner won't want the publicity of hiring these imbeciles so your best bet is to get them to cancel it first.

In regard to your response - the fact that you are responding to queries on Google Reviews and offering to get back to people contradicts your suggestion that there are only two routes pay or appeal . Furthermore I have never had an issue contacting British Gas or Vodafone etc and comparing yourselves - a glorified thug bailiff enforcing yet another tax on the most vulnerable in society (old people attending hospital) - to those reputable companies is laughable.

I ve been trying to contact Civil Enforcement for the last 8 months since my parking charge was issued! But it seems all they are good for is scamming people for money. I have even processed my appeal through their POPLA system and did not hear anything back. I assumed they accepted they were in the wrong in the matter and left it but no! Yet again they send another letter from their solicitors for another fine of nearly 3x the amount of the original fine. I cant get in touch with this company in regards to a ccj. I wish to speak to someone before paying the full amount as I would like to request a copies of receipts to inform the courts so it say satisfactory on the ccj (as after reading the comments I am very concerned about trusting the company to report it paid in full to the county court business center) as this has hindered my credit rating an impacting my life massively particularly in these difficult times.
I have applied for legal aid to take this further, the country court is sending me this application along with a N244 if anyone else's wishes to dispute. The amount is increasing on random dates and for why I am unsure. (All documented)

No stars if possible , as I am also suffering from the ignorance from this company since 2018 . In my case they've raised a false CCJ in my credit history for the vehicle which I have never owned or hired secondly they have posted the correspondence on the address which wasn't my address so I never received any PCN or any correspondence consequently I couldn't get back to them and couldn't go for appeal . I was in the process to take the mortgage and was shocked to see a ccj in credit history and contacted the company regarding my case. One of the staff members told me to send the proofs to prove my innocence. After that I sent my relevant proofs numerous times to this company company, but till today I haven't heard anything back from them.
I explained them that I was the victim of identity theft fraud and I received few more bailiff letters on behalf of different boroughs on my present address. I reported this matter to police and councils and to other ballif companies as well. At last everyone came aware of my innocence and all the PCNs were cancelled by everyone.
I sent these proofs to civil enforcement,
But they have not responded anything back till date.
Today my wife has complained this matter to BPA as well.
Secondly I have posted the final notice to this company and if I will not get any reply from them,I want to take this matter further and will appreciate any suggestions regarding this, and requesting the company again to check my letter and solve my matter.

I'm disappointed with the approach of this company. I overstayed the free time limit at a Costa Coffee by about 25 minutes and they are now asking for hundreds of pounds in fines and charges. As a child psychologist, I spend my day driving between schools helping children. As a result, I need to stop for a break and to do paperwork in cafes and car parks like this one. My job is already hard enough without needing to worry about whether to choose between paying for food or parking fines!
