Ticket machine not working at all.
But the small print on the machine says I have to pay.
These types of operation are disgraceful and should be banned.

I checked my credit score and found out that this Mickey Mouse company filed a CCJ against me 2 years ago without even contacting me to inform me about a parking ticket.
I rang them to discuss it and the woman on phone was very rude refused to give me any answers to the questions I had asked then hung up on me.
I tried ringing back which they answered without speaking then hung up again this company should be shut down permanently

Tried to appeal but the email address doesn t work!

Received a fine from this company for apparently being parked in one of their car parks from 8.55am-3.00pm. Well for one both pictures of my vehicle show me in the drivers seat, so not parked! And two I am a taxi driver and was picking up my school contract who lives in accommodation next to the car park. So the cameras would pick me up at this time! Unfortunately it was addressed to S Pearson with no title! As my mother who lives with me has the same first initial as me she opened it! And kindly paid it for me without thinking! I think some common sense needed to be in practice here!

Further notes: I think this "company" needs to look at their responses. Proof read them, and make sure the correct answer is giving.
Why do you not put titles on your letters? I.e. Mr, Mrs etc.
You may be a legal company, but your bullying antics and your refusal to speak to people over the phone etc needs addressing.

Worst company in world to deal with, I had paid for parking but no option to talk to anyone about claim on phone line, appealed online and got response other than more relentless letters chasing payment

Over 12 months ago for parkIng at Foundry climbing centre while climbing.

I have tried to ring you but there is no option to speak to someone. I have checked with your website and you do not correspond with any parking tickets over the phone. However, I would like to voice out that I work at the location I was issued a ticket and have had verbal permission from my manager to park there. I have submitted my appeal online but I feel there may be more tickets coming to me in the post. PCN Number: 94642619078. I wish for all tickets relating to my vehicle at that location to be cancelled as I work there and have permission to park I also have provided this evidence through your appeals process. I have also provided the store number of that location to verify I work there. Please cancel this PCN and any future ones; saves us both the hassle with dealing with them. Many thanks. How on earth are you meant to appeal when the website just says incorrect details whenever I enter them. I was given a ticket in a car park that I have written permission to park in and now I can't appeal as the website doesn't seem to More

I received a parking fine (after more than a month) even when I was within 10 minutes of the ending time. I paid for the full time during the day and had 3 people with me to verify and I no longer have the ticket because what sane person keeps a parking receipt after the first 5 weeks? The fine said I didn t but someone else who did the same thing as me did not receive a fine. They randomly select people to give a fine and that is disgusting. I have appealed online but their robotic soul will undoubtedly reject it.

Been on hold for 30mins. They don't take calls. Issue fines and then refuse to correspond - they are in breach of several regulations under the Protection of Freedoms Act. The appeal form does not work. Nobody answers the phone. They make it impossible to appeal or speak to anybody.

A CCJ has been placed under my name for a parking ticket I honestly was not aware about and did not receive any mail regarding it. I came aware of it only when applying for a mortgage. upmost shocking experience , from fining me whilst parked in a car park facility that I am entitled to park in as a PAYING gym member, to issuing a CCJ Without notice!!
From here the fine was paid in FULL. Now CIVIL ENFORCEMENT want to make the allegation that the fine has not been paid even with all the proof sent to them and their system showing clearly PAID and zero balance.
I am now more money down as I am having to apply to the courts to prove I have paid the fine!
Further to this what company has no lines of communication ? No email address no telephone number just an address to write too?!
Beginning to feel like I have been scammed from the start!!

Be careful with this company, sent out fraudulent ticket when my car wan't even park there but they have no phone number to speak to anyone. How is this company allowed to send out tickets without proper evidence

Do not pay anything you receive from this company. They are issuing fines after failures within their systems that conveniently registers your vehicle entering a car park but not exiting. I am not the only person who has received such a notice, this has been widely publicised by other people in this area.

Why isn't there an option to speak to a human?!. I've recently moved and the letter went to my old address, it been redirected but I haven't received anything and it's been over a month now. How else am I supposed to pay for this ticket? My previous landlord took a picture of the letter and told me she has forwarded to my new address, its been a month now. I don't know the PCN number. I don't feel comfortable posting my Car Reg on a public forum, I just want to speak to a person on the phone or email

Following a parking charge notice received from this company, I appealed following the relevant steps on their website. Including my details, I input my email address, confirming it, therefore twice. I have just arrived home from holiday and found that this company has sent me a letter rather than an email!
Their website is down and I am unable to contact them regarding their request. "Please provide evidence/ documentation confirming the circunstancies detailed in your correspondence. "
I had a flat tyre and stopped on the safest place I could find, this were mitigating circunstancies. Their evidence are pictures of my car entering the area and than leaving.
On my appeal I stated "I stopped in this area as this was the safest place to replace the front right flat tyre on my car, vehicle registration *******. I was never parked and the vehicle was never left unattended."
The last thing on my mind was getting evidence from my flat tyre or filming myself changing it. As soon as I arrived home I repaired the tyre myself, again didn't take any pictures..
In English law it is considered parking, when the vehicle is left unattended. Took me 17min exactly to replace the tyre.
So, what evidence/ documentation am I supposed to provide? And why am I not being sent an email during this pandemic but instead a letter? To make my reply more awkward?

Appreciate your reply and comparing my incident to someone parking on my drive without permission....Providing that they had a valid reason and that they would not be blocking anyone, of course anyone in perfect sense would not complain. In this occasion, I searched for a safe area, there was very few cars around, and im certain that anyone in their good sense would not acuse me of ilegal parking (Anyone who's not trying to make money out of it anyway) .

Was asked for evidence...documentation...receipt for recovery...receipt for tyre repair....
Had to write almost an essay for this bully company, always asking for something I did not have.
On my last appeal I made it quite clear I had dealt with all myself, sent them several pictures, pictures of my spare tyre and changing kit, the puncture repair kit I've used, tyre I had fixed recently..
Finally they have cancelled the ticket. Maybe it became quite clear that this would be challenged in court.
My advice to people is, do your research, always reply politely and within the deadlines, and get evidence that you replied (eg.screenshot), and if you feel they are being unfair, fight your case and their bully tactics and go to the court if you have to.

Daylight robbery. Got a parking ticket for parking in a pub car park that I was actual customer at. Provided proof that I spent money in via bank statement. Surprise surprise these money grabbers didnt deem that acceptable proof? Not sure what further proof they wanted. Appealed it, again, never heard anything, suddenly found myself with a CCJ and a massive charge to pay to save my credit rating. Absolute cowboys robbing people blind.

On 4 separate occasions I have attempted to appeal the parking charge ( 25min at a gp surgery) . On those occasions an error appeared of which I have taken a screenshot of. I have then managed to submit the appeal however what concerns me is that something may not have reached the company e.g. evidence. The number which is plastered everywhere on the answers says that the call centre is currently closed due to covid 19 which I fully understand.

However how am I going to know whether the evidence had been sent through without problems. Further, i have video evidence of your screen not actually working properly and other relevant evidence which I am unable to send.

Can you please advise when the call centre is opening.

These people are CROOKS of the highest order. DO NOT waste any time trying to reason or get in contact with them as they will simply IGNORE you. MY ADVICE, is if you have been given a PCN by these people is to join Money Saving Expert forums and seek advice on the private parking charge forum, 99% of these fraudulent claims are squashed! DO NOT RESPOND TO ANYTHING YOU RECEIVE IN THE POST.

Received a parking fine for 100 pounds, stating that i was parked overnight. Rang up and no response. I appealed online and it was cancelled straight away.

Obviously out to con people...

This company is horrendous, my partner currently has around 15 of these fines. She works in the DW gym which has the parking camera's. She updated her car with a private number plate and the system no longer recognised her car as having a permit. Countless phone calls to all the various companies involved and no joy. I would love to know how working in the gym that the car park belongs to is misusing the car park.



Personally i've said we are not giving them a penny. She's not paying over 3 x her daily wage per fine (each day she parked for work) for parking in her works car park which she was previously authorised to do.

Been trying to get hold of these guys to come to deal about CCJ for the last two months no email provided not even a telephone number !!!!!

My Car had been sold and i was in Thailand eventually sorted and cancelled.

On the 14th March we went to ASM to grab something as lockdown was looming. My husband has medical reasons so could not go into the store. I was due at work as I work for the nhs and everything was manic. We have been going to ASM for 30 years but this day the world has gone mad and the car park was full. I actually went into store and spent money. We could not even get out of the car park because it was full and everybody was going mad. How inconsiderate that you want 140 pound for me being in the store for 10 minutes maybe slightly more. Shame on you and I will fight this as I do have a receipt that I had spent money. I am working right through the pandemic and putting my family at risk and I have to keep getting post telling me you want money of me. I did not do anything wrong except for to but some foods and try and get out of a crammed car park in the middle of something that we have never experienced before.

OMG - they have sent me a fine (which my company has paid) for ENTERING a car park, you can see my driving in on both images. This is not where I actually parked during my stay at Bridgnorth Hospital.

They haven't even stated on the letter what terms I did not abide by, so I cant even offer an explanation for appeal !! And no they never answer the phone

I lost the details of my PCN and when i tried to call the company to ask for the details and to actually pay, all i could get was an automated voice asking me for my PCN number which i obviously didn't have.


I only pressed 1 star because it wouldn't let me post......If there were minus stars I'd be pressing them!!!!!

Resolved my issue swiftly having been incorrectly issued a PCN. Once I found the email address to contact them via these reviews, they responded to my emails the same day and resolved/cancelled the PCN.

Just received a notice (1st Notice) for a ticket 12 months ago stating court action. The day in question was a Sunday in an empty car park and I had parked outside the DIY shop in question to pick up an order.

I have been asked to provide evidence of my blue badge - but no email address provided to send photo. Sending information via letter?? In this day and age of technology!! Website also says can't discuss fines over phone.

What a joke, these people are a scam. I got a fine, appealed it within timeline, no evidence or confirmation when I appealed. Did not hear nothing back, just that I need to pay the fine in full now. They gave an option of paying over 12 months, thought fine will accept so fine does not go up in meantime will chase up my appeal, there is no way to chase the appeal.

Ok how are these idiots allowed to hassle people sending out fines for a car you haven had for almost 4 months really i think not you were wrote to and told to re check with the DVLA and your still srnding out demands.

She was kind, compassionate, helped sort the situation and offered to follow up to make sure we were okay. Very grateful for the support and the company caring about us

Hello. Today I unexpectedly had a mortgage application declined for my wife and twin girls first home. On inspection of why i was in formed i was issued with a CCJ in October 2020 due to non-payment of a Parking Charge Notice. Turns out when we moved house we changed over 30 documents/addresses but forgot one. The V5 for the car. I have received no correspondence whatsoever as i have no access to the old address. The only information i have gathered is with the help of the County Court. Without a PCN number (i have never received a letter to my living address) i am unable to pay for the CCJ, which i am more than happy to do. I am unable to appeal/query online and i am cut off the phone as i can't enter a PCN.
Literally speechless that a company can issue proceedings that will effect a family for the next 6 years from every aspect of life, from car insurance to their ability to have a home, without being able to defend or explain themselves. I have no issue with paying for a fine that i have incurred but how this company can operate lawfully is beyond comprehension.
If this is read by anyone from Civil Enforcement please can you provide a way for me to pay you and discuss a Set Aside by Consent.

I have called the number to talk to the operator and there is no options. You can only make a payment and even after the payment you can't talk to operator they hang up the phone. Some thing is not right, I can't believe the town/city council let this kind of scam happen.

Completely unable to speak with anyone on the phone and have been trying for months now. Received a call ONCE from this company on a no caller ID number so was unable to call back. Cannot appeal the ticket as it suddenly does not recognise my details, but if I input them to pay using the SAME information it can suddenly find my details. I want to speak to someone on the PHONE regarding this as you are sending threatening letters to an address I don t live at.

Got a ticket. Set up direct debit. They was taking the money. Then it stopped. Money was always in the bank we have statements to prove on the following months where nothing was taken there was available funds. Try and call. Everything is More

Stayed at a hotel the mill sudbury checked in they took my reg no.Thought everything was ok then a month later got parking fine which just keeps going up 1 star is far to good for this company you cant even speak to anyone other than payment voice over

THEY IGNORE EU UNFAIR CONTRACT LAW. Clearly another company who seem to be fleecing the general public at NHS locations. They claim 24 hours service but this is a lie as you cannot speak to an operator in the evening. Secondly, their parking charges are scandalously high. Thirdly, their evidence is flimsy (they take pictures of you entering leaving car parks but not actually of you parking illegally) and the pictures have no date / time. Claim back against these sharks by proving to them you have been SUBJECT TO AN UNFAIR CONTRACT AND THAT YOU ARE PROTECTED AGAINST THESE CONTRACTS UNDER EU LAW.

I went to Pets At Home in Bury, Foundry Car Park at 8:47am, but left straight away as it was closed. I went back at 4:39pm after work and got what I needed and left. A few weeks later I received a fine from Civil Enforcement saying I was parked for longer than 2 hours. Obviously, when I got the letter I thought well I've did something stupid, just pay it. But then I realised that something didn't add up. The camera logged me as if I was parked there all day. You can see on my left pic that my car is not parked, its 'going in' and 'going out'. So clever move! Very tactical!!! :P

The letter says I was parked there from 8:47 to 16:39. Well... I was at work... parked at works secure car park... So no sir... I was not parked there all day.

OK WHAT CAN YOU DO ABOUT IT?

What you need to do is get in contact with the store you were visiting. You need to phone or go in person with the fine which has the PCN number (Parking Charge Notice). Ask to speak to the manager and explain to him/her that you were visiting the store and you have received a fine even though you were less than 2hrs. Or whatever reason you were UNJUSTLY fined (not justly fined, can't help you there) but if you were UNJUSTLY fined then go to the store and do all this. A store manager has the ability to call this corrupt company and cancel the fine.

Then you will receive a letter (pic on the right) ensuring that it has been cancelled.

Sorry if you have had a bad experience with this company. It's so wrong what they're doing. Their mindset is clearly 'crime pays'.

If I could give 0 I would. This company make the appeal process really hard. I sold the car prior to the ticket, told this this and they wanted proof which I would do if the website didn t crash every time. Why do I need to prove anything? Just check with DVLA again, I m not here to do your job for you.

Have had multiple letters from your company even though I was on my company s staff parking list. My manager and supervisors have emailed and rang you on several occasions as I m on that list (when they rang they were told the fines were cancelled). I myself have also emailed, only to still receive legal action letters for apparent non payment, even though they had been cancelled by my employer. Diabolical company that even when people are parking legally on the private land cause they work there, still get fined.

Absolute con artists this company sent me a letter for a parking charge from a year ago when I parked in a free doctors surgery car park saying that despite numerous attempts to contact me I have not responded which is a complete lie as More

They're only 'Civil Enforcement' by name, they're a private company. They're nothing to do with the council nor will ever be. You have as much power to invoice them as they do to you. You are within your rights to ask them for evidence and you'll probably find they don't have any as these letters they send are purely speculative. Very annoying! I notice they don't put a name next to their signature - not sure if it even counts as an invoice or bill. Just a nasty trick.

Despite threatening CCJ's and Court Dates they leave no way of getting in touch with them which in my case resulted in a mailed letter being sent to their main office.

Conveniently, they did not receive my letter until AFTER they had tried to take a CCJ out against me in which they said they would take a reduced fee.

The kicker is that I ended up paying the fine so I wouldn't have the hassle but the fee was NOT reduced (even after I received a letter saying it would be) and I still have no way of resolving this out due to a lack of contact details.

My advice to anyone who feels they need to contest a fine due to mishandling would be to go down the court route.
Civil Enforcement will deliberately mishandle your case and provide a lack of communication so they have ramp up your fine and squeeze more money out of you.

I am a philanthropist helping people with mental issues and depression. I had arranged to meet with a young person who was going through mental issues and he needed to talk and to have observed lock down rules we had arranged to meet at Costa, Dagenham East. On the 20th Nov, I receivd a letter of fine which was only issued to me and not to the young person who had also parked his van right near me. I did take a note of the time and that we were not allowed to park more than 90 minutes -and- no return within an hour. I had parked for few minutes waiting and then just to check whether he was inside Costa and noticed he wasn't there, I then drove back as I thought he may not show up despite my reminder calls given his mental state. Just as I reached my drive, he called to say that he had reached in Costa for which I drove back to Costa and parked for under 90 minutes. The parking was logged from my first parking despite the fact I had drove back and right until my actual end time. And although my client and I had both parked at the same time and he even drove off after me, he wasnt issued any tickets. While, I am pleased he wasn't issued a fine as the nonsense cost of living and the brutality of parking and fines business has already taken its toll on people living in London, I equally am disappointed for the unfair and unjust fine issued by Civil Enforcement Ltd. People might hope that COVID19 may have made people better and kinder, but I think it has definitly made Parking Companies richer and even further brutal. The car park space on the day we had parked was half empty and neither had I blocked nor caused nuisance. Furthermore, I offer voluntary counselling having done my part as a caring human being and knowing people can not afford private services and in return getting penalised for it. It is heart breaking!

Bought a new build property and I keep getting letters from this company to a name I dont no. I return everything but the letters still come.

Absolute disgrace. I received a parking ticket for parking in the Saracen's Head car park (Dunmow) despite being a customer in the restaurant. I provided proof of purchases made during the time which clear me from parking incorrectly. Upon discussing with the Hotel Management I was told I would need to appeal through PCN - APPEAL REJECTED.

This is the most outrageous company going.. and the "law" allows them to function - applying CCJs to people's credit files without them seeing any of the court paperwork (only found out about CCJ when I started a new job), not bothering to turn up to Court, issuing "fake" paperwork that isn't served on the Court as a scaremongering tactic... the "law" needs to sort these companies out; this is why the country is so annoyed as it's just take, take, take and all about money.. still don't know where I supposedly parked! They are only interested in intimidating you with court action and you paying up eventually

Try talking to someone or emailing them and you have more chance of bumping into Elvis at Burger King.
Tried to genuinely pay at their car park but payment wouldn't be accepted so after 20 minutes left and parked around corner which I provided evidence for to prove I wasn't trying to Scam them. (Ticket for all day parking with the car registration displayed)
Surprise Surprise they have video footage of me entering and leaving the car park (ANPR system apparently) but not of myself and colleagues stood reading their signage and trying to PAY for parking.
Common Sense is something required by companies sometimes but this one is sadly completely lacking in it!

Today 24th December 2019 I have received a letter out of the blue claiming they have written to me on several occasions. Strangely this the first I have heard from them. Their letter concerns an alleged infringement of parking conditions at the car park in Wells-Next-The-Sea on the 27/02/2019. I tried to contact them on two telephone lines today and all I got on each occasion was a recorded message concerning payment. Although I have never contacted them before they instantly recognised my phone number as the recording gave the exact amount they claim I owe.

Absolute bunch of skammers, we tried to pay online at the car park in Wells, the machine was faulty so we decided to get some cash changed at the local fish stall in the car park, we paid and parked up.

Just recieved a parking ticket for previous tenants of my house where i have lived for 2 and half years and can not contact u to inform you and why should i have to pay to forward letter bk to you disgusting

Paid for my parking ticket proved that it was paid for as it was offered to me by IBIS hotel then all of a sudden I have CCJ for NOTHING! and when trying to sort it out they have no customer service standard literally a BIG FRAUD COMPANY THAT'S GETTING AWAY WITH TAKING PEOPLES MONEY!

Appealed at the start of January and never had a response to the appeal, but threatening letters continue to be sent. There is no phone number to speak to a human being and no email address to contact. When will I have a response to my appeal that was over 4 months ago?

Only found out I owed these lot money after a CCJ was due to be added to my credit file, had no previous correspondence. After a long mess around with the court on the phone I found out the CCJ was for these lot for a parking charge I incurred on the day of a miscarriage at the hospital... After trying to contact these lot there actually is no way of speaking to them.. All you can do is pay them, over the phone, entering your card details which it READS BACK TO YOU!! and never speak to a person. Trading standards or something needs to get a grip of these criminals. I have never missed a payment for credit yet now will have a strike on my name for 6 years which I definitely do not deserve. Managing director, I hope you sleep soundly at night because one day karma will come round for you.

Yes everything was up to date. The car was sold shortly after the date and I was not at that address. If your company done its due diligence properly before throwing out County Court Judgements left right and Chelsea you'd have got in touch with me and this would have been resolved far sooner. If you know enough about me to have a CCJ on me I'm sure you could have lifted a finger and contacted me at a new address. I have paid it today, the day I found out about this so given its within the period of if paid in full the CCJ will not be submitted through, that'd better be the case because I don't need any more head ache from this nonsense, but I wouldn't hold my breath given how you lot have done so far... We stopped on an empty pub car park, with the engine still running for 20 minutes whilst we changed and fed our 10 week old baby (we lived 40 minutes away so couldn't make it home)
Was unaware of any parking restrictions and so initially tried to dispute the fine, given the circumstance and the fact the pub owner had no problem with it and had no response from them.
Now have received threatening letter from County Court business centre on behalf of civil enforcement, issued during a lockdown when one of us lost of job.

Got a fine for parking at ramada hotel in Hounslow AS A CUSTOMER ! Tried to reach them but no luck Also they said they sent first letter which is a lie. Anyone refused to pay this scamners ?

I have sent two letters over 2 months ago which were ignored.
I was not aware of having any CCJs until I checked my credit score. I have received 2 CCJs for parking which I was not aware of due to Civil Enforcement using my old address although I changed my address with DVLA! I then received another parking charge to my new address (which I paid right away) which means that Civil Enforcement did not update their records or contact DVLA to update my address. I have tried calling numerous times no one ever picks up!! I believe I am not suppose to pay as I have not received a single letter regarding any of the two fines and both being sent to an old address. How am I suppose to know about this? If you guys want ridiculous amounts of money for parking fines and then send the correspondence last minute or not at all at least reply!

I Used your automated phone service to pay my fine and it set up a monthly amount without asking me even though i asked it to pay the full amount! I cant get in touch to rectify the problem this is so annoying!

Update: just wanted to update my review regarding the response I received. I think it s absolutely disgusting that the company can respond in the comments to make out as though they are helping people when in reality as soon as they say email them they ignore you completely. I could understand that they might be a bit busy but when they have deadlines on how long you have to pay it s not acceptable to just ignore emails.
