Customer service reps have to go back to training ...

Customer service reps have to go back to training to ensure they can provide customer service at a higher level. Nothing but unhappy people at Bosch and it comes across in their customer service and their products as just as bad. I think they have tall poppy syndrome where they think this is acceptable. Dont waste your money on their products because you will be disappointed especially if you need to get their repaired. If you buy cross your fingers you get a good product.

Bought Bosch cooktop PPS9A6B90A two weeks ago. Received cooktop with the bent spivot for one knob. Bosch instead of replacing this faulty unit with the new which I demanded, sent an agent who completely broke this part.
Now I'm still with faulty cooktop which was only installed couple of days ago.
This is bad Quality Control at Bosch and even worse their service approach.

Customer Service at Bosch does not exist. I purchased an oven and as soon as it was installed we noticed that there was scratches on the door. Contacted them immediately and had to provide photos proof of purchase and some other details. I have now been told I have not done it in a timely manner. I asked what they class is a timely manner and they replied 1 week from purchase date. Well thats a joke when we purchased the oven we had to wait over a week before it was received as it had to be order from Bosch.
It might be great oven but obviously there quality control is poor as they never noticed the scratches on the oven and warranty is not worth the paper it is written on.
Will never by a Bosch again I will stick to Meile in future.

For anyone considering purchasing a Bosch applianc...

For anyone considering purchasing a Bosch appliance right now I'd strongly suggest to think twice!!

I've been waiting for over 6 weeks for a service call on a broken light fitting on my newly purchased range hood.
Not to mention the light broke in the first place because of how difficult it is to remove the cover to get to the globe.

I'm being told that because it's a "non essential" repair they won't come out to fix it indefinitely. It's really difficult to see while cooking in the evening as it's so dark without the range hood lights on.

It doesn't matter that we're in regional Victoria where the restrictions have largely been lifted, Bosch had decided to put a blanket rule on all of Victoria regardless of whether you're in metro or regional.

It's ridiculous that a simple and mundane task of changing a light globe is resulting in so much hassle and inconvenience yet Bosch won't budge or make any exceptions.

I'll definitely won't be rushing to purchase another Bosch appliance anytime soon!

My washer/dryer was failing to dry clothes. Service call was booked but I had to wait over a week. The technician attended and reset a couple of switches reporting the machine was fixed. Upon first use only a few hours later the machine was still not heating up and drying clothes. Further calls to support line resulted in an email booking further service call again in a weeks time. Attempts to engage customer support to escalate repair and raise issue with supervisors and management have been fruitless and ignored. A series of emails to customer service and corporate contact details and requests to escalate to management, executives and even the President have failed to engender any enthusiasm and interest to assist in rectification. An absolute total failure in Customer engagement and demonstration of ignorance and arrogance towards any service or support

We have a new faulty cooktop according to the installer who is a registered plumber. According to Bosch it's an installation issue how would they know, Bosch have made it clear that they don't have a service technician in our area so it seems they have washed their hands of this matter. They want us to own the problem on this new appliance. Not a good experience with Bosch

Purchased in March a top end heat pump dryer. 3 call out and waiting 2 weeks between call outs. "not enough technicians" they tell me. They decide to replace weeks ago now, unfortunately nobody is now returning my calls nor contacting me. Its now the dead middle of Winter nearly 3 Months on, and I haven't got a dryer. Just tried again and the nice girl suggested I try head office. I'm not 1 to growl at call centre people as they are just answering the phone. But you can expect to get very little help from HQ in Australia when things go wrong. Fortunately I have a heater, a clothes rack and a clapped out hair dryer... They are much more efficient than Bosch's Australian HQ.
Now a week later. 6 calls of which 3 went straight to UK. They are baffled in the UK that I haven't had a call. They email Aus for a call back. Nothing. I leave messages and nothing. A very sad reflection on Bosch by Aus HQ.

Atrocious corporate & departmental behaviour (customer service), of which we have never experienced over some 55 years both as provider & client (dispute matter: A02295238). Having worked for Bosch in Reutlingen, Germany in the mid 90's, then recommended the brand for decades, we are somewhat concerned at the quality assurance statements, as advertised in the media & beyond by Bosch, being grossly incorrect. e.g. "We are here to help, before and after you purchase.". Minus 10 stars.

Absolutely shocking service from a Company that makes such good tools and then makes false claims. Eg, a Jig Saw they say has a cutting depth of 150mm but no blades that will cut to that depth.Add insult to injury the barely understandable teck guy tried to tell me that what they say definitively in their manual, cutting depth is 150mm.
Ooh no, not false advertising. It's really just a guideline!

Invented for life is their pride at Bosch. A world famous brand which I had been loyal to for over forty years. I wonder Why Bosch ignores customer comments and their frustration. Many bought Bosch for the same reason -German technology and customer care. My washing machine rubber seal was swiftly replaced by an arrogant service man who did not checked his work. The replaced seal resembled a distorted rubber dinghy, and he said it was normal. But I wasn't impressed. Rang up customer service and waited time and tries again before someone responded from the UK? Then have to send photos for verification, then no reply for a week, then I call again, then appointment was made for the following week. I HOPE THE MOTHER COMPANY IN GERMANY RECTIFY CUSTOMER'S RAPPORT.

If there was a way I could leave less than 1 star ...

If there was a way I could leave less than 1 star I would! We bought top of the Bosch range series 8 appliances and within 1 month of installation have had 3 technicians out to our house. You call the customer service team and ALWAYS get transferred to the UK as they are too busy to take the call. No one ever calls you back. The service I received at the retail end was amazing. The product experience I've had has been literally the worst of my life. Our flexi - induction cook top ALWAYS turns off during cooking. The new pots they promised me to resolve the issue never arrived. On the odd occasion someones returned my call they haven't done what they said they would. I had one great Bosch customer service person, however she has now resigned! I can only assume from the poor rating Bosch have that they genuinely don't care about creating positive customer experiences. If only I'd read the reviews prior to buying a kitchen full of their products. So as I type this review my appliance still doesn't work. Perhaps Consumer affairs can assist!

Where do we start with these? A charming lady by the name of Bev completely ignored my requests over the phone and wouldn't hear me out. Passive aggressive is an understatement. Please address this before other people are left infuriated.

Bought a rangehood with a total height including flu cover size of 642 - 954(w extension) , Removed the old one, then found out Bosch Australia is incapable of using a tape measure. Its ACTUAL minimum height is 770mm meaning for standard roof height houses you have to cut it and the dimensions advertised in installation instructions are wrong in the box and online.

I was told by the store a Bosch person would contact me as that's what Bosch told them. No-one ever called messaged or emailed. They simply don't care.

They also haven't bothered to update the installation instructions online (image attached is current), They still specify the incorrect measurement.

Apparently the solution is we all go pay someone to fix Bosch Australias mistakes.

They took my 10 year old drill and rang me within a day to say what they found and how much it would cost to fix it. It was less than $30 which in my opinion would be just cost recovery. They replaced the brushes and removed a spider nest.

Be warned all correspondence comes with head office address but the repair center is 158 abbot street Dandenong South (enter of side road )

I purchased a BGS4 Runn n vacuum and it s the worst thing I ve ever bought. I used to be a machine operator and always used Bosch machinery so when I went to update my home appliances I thought I d pay the extra and go for what I thought was the best name.
This vacuum cuts out all the time. The sensor light comes on and it cuts out every time I use it. I live in a back section of a house and my daughter and her kids have the front, so the vacuum I bought was for a back up or to touch up my areas. In all I ve not used it 6 times and I clean the filters and everything in it every time I ve used it. I just tried to clean my car with it and after 10 mins it cuts off again. Totally fed up and will never buy anything Bosch again.

Not everyone at Bosch Australia is so fortunate like Mr. Kiwan - see earlier review. I have resigned from Bosch after over 18 years of service in "Diodes". Very, very disappointing.
Zero stars for management of "Diodes" for ruining other people lives.

I called up and asked if they could give me quick run down on how to use their stud/wire/metal finder, they could'nt tell me how to use it.

A product they make, they were unaware how to use. Let that sink in.

(Instructions Damaged)

Edit: 3/6/20 - Reply to reponse from owner:

It took you 4 months to respond to the review that i posted, that in itself shows the level of customer service you provide.

Don't you think the first thing i did was contact that department? It's literally the second word in my review, did you read the review? Your reply just shows more incompetence.

Customer service friendly but ultimately very, very poor. Zero stars. I purchased a Bosch washing machine in February and within a week it had developed a fault. So far Bosch have sent service agents to my house FOUR (yes, one, two, three, FOUR) times and I've spent at least two hours on the phone problem-solving and discussing the issue with numerous Bosch employees both in the UK and here in Australia...and it still doesn't work properly! Including the time I've spent with the service agents at my house (and trying to arrange their visits), I estimate I've spent more than 12 hours trying to resolve this. To add insult to injury, the last person I spoke to at Bosch suggested cleaning the machine and that she'd mail me some sachets of powder "free of charge" (gee thanks!!!!) to do so....and no prizes for guessing that this didn't fix the problem.

This has to be my saddest review as I have used Bosch Home Appliance products in 3 previous houses. We renovated in this house with almost all Bosch (german made), including Pyrolytic Oven, Induction Stove, Front Loader washing machine and Condenser dryer.
Within a week, the Condenser Dryer was replaced by Bosch as it would not function correctly. It is now 18 months since installation, and the Induction stove has become difficult to operate, and the program card will be replaced next week. The Pyrolytic oven has had its electronic guts replaced, and now the front loader washing machine- the spinner has now failed after making horrendous noises.
I have no complaints regarding the followup service, but we purchased these products based on past experience and the fact they were german manufactured. I am thinking we may have made too many assumptions.

Bosch is just a name from the past that DOES NOT have a quality attached to it's name. Big waste of money purchasing blue bosch power tool, lasted only 8 months. warranty cover is only 12 months and I'm gone into 13th month since the purchase. Bosch does NOT have any exception. Bosch does not look after their customers. I was told over the phone if it is a day over they might, but only "might" take it in for repair. Soooo disappointed with Bosch customer care!
