Call all you want, they will not answer.

Call all you want, they will not answer.

Email all you want, they will not respond.

Visit during the three days (and three hours per day) a week they are open, they will instruct you to email them and never respond.

Walk in with all your paperwork ready to go, they will refuse to process it and request you email them.

We were initially given the incorrect email address after visiting in person. We looked up the correct email address, and their email server was full. We stopped by again in person and they deleted the old emails. We finally successfully emailed multiple times and were ignored. We went by again in person and were simply told to email again. We will now have to cancel our Italian wedding plans and visit somewhere else.

We had a wonderful experience with the people at the Consulate. Bianca and her male counterpart were absolutely wonderful and did everything to help us and understand the Visa process. We could not have asked for better service!!!! Like ALL Italians they were wonderful! Thank you so very much and when we are in Boston, we will stop by to see you. Thank you again! Schengan Visa you definitely want to make an appointment. It's located at 600 Atlantic avenue easiest way to come is via south station (Red Line). It's located in federal reserve building on 17th floor.
They take payments in money order. If you forgot one there's a bank on 4th floor who can do it for you. If you forgot any prints there's a convenience store at floor G who can make you copies. Parking is challenging would suggest to use train or uber.

Good consulate. We requested for an early appointment and they replied to back the email with available appointment slots. Also when we went to apply visa, we missed some documents and they informed us to come email the documents and get the hard copies on the day of passport collection.. very helpful staff all the time..

They reply to you with automatic emails with no name. They told me not to send emails to mr. Colasante! I suggest people with negative experiences to send protest letters directly to the consul.

Impossible to make a reservation for citizenship. Have been trying to get through for literally years.(you'd think that I would give up). I don't believe that the online system works or ever has. Both my parents were born in Italy. It shouldn't be next to impossible to make an appointment or have someone actually answer my phone calls. Zero stars if I could give it.

OK. I have spent at least 8 hours on the website today. I have removed my ad blocker and pop up blocker. I refreshed the site every 10 minutes and at 4 o'clock I was logged out for "security" reasons. Is this site a scam. I am not trying to pull a fast one on anyone. I have been trying to make an appointment for over 1 year. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. At this point I will pay a bribe if necessary.

Very rude visa woman to myself and to other patrons. She was unsympathetic to people waiting to pick up their passports/other documents and became easily flustered by those applying for visas. I felt bad because she was the only person working and there were 10+ people waiting but I was also a little bit appalled at the lack of patience and how quickly she would passive aggressively snap at myself and others for things that could have easily been worded with a single courteous sentence. With the unfortunate exception of an employee having a not-so-great day, the visa place and process itself were not difficult to access. Everyone else working in the building was kind. Overall, the appointment was NOT a good experience.

Call all you want and they won't answer. We went to the consulate personally 4 times with a full and complete application and they would still not accept it. They told us to email them and after doing so multiple times over more than a month we gave up and forfeited our trip to Italy. It is very sad no one could attend to us knowing appointments are very limited for the 3 hours you are open and on only 3 days a week. We tried and tried and we were shut down everytime. DO NOT BOOK YOUR ITALY TRIP IF YOU NEED A VISA UNTIL YOU FINALLY GET YOUR STAMP! I lost about $500 in rebooking fees and forfeited 2 hotel reservations because of this. We went to the french consulate 3 months ago for our trip weeks after and obtained a Schegen visa within a week. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. Trying to get a visa 6-8 weeks ahead of time should be plentiful but apparently not! We checked for appointments in Early to Mid July and nothing available TIL OCTOBER!!! COME ON!

If I could give this place a zero star review, I would. The worst entity I have ever had to deal with. Cannot contact them via phone nor email. Could not get my passport back for more than two weeks. Very unprofessional. If you need a Schengen visa, try to apply through any other European consulate but this.
