Attended conference there.Nice facility. Very upscale. Good staff.Parking was a problem.

Awesome place to relax and great for any event as well, the staff super friendly and commitment with their guests. Highly recommended!

Rooms are a 3star quality and general grounds are a 4star. Beautiful main pool area. Room could use some updates and had a slight musky smell to them. The "complimentary" breakfast actually was a breakfast menu you pay for...not sure if this is just due to COVID precautions and not being able to do a continental style setup. For those with long hair: bring your own conditioner...they only stock a 2 in 1 which is not functional. Staff are very friendly and the food at the restaurants is amazing. It was not advertised but there is live piano music Thursday-Friday evenings and the man playing is a gem!

I highly recommend this place, very clean and very nice stuff. The food and drinks were very good.

I was here for a professional, all day event and it was quite good. Lunch was delicious, the space was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. After the event there were drinks by the pool and it was quite nice.

Did not enjoy this stay. There are no soda machines, snack machines or even a gas station for at least a mile. The air wasn t working properly. Resort could stand some upgrades. Wouldn t recommend to someone without a car. The towel above the biday was dirty... gross

After driving to the building and arriving at my room, 3rd floor on the end, away from the elevators my keys did not work. Housekeeping called security and left us standing outside with my infant. Security eventually brought new keys. I didn't tip him but he was nice. No pen or paper in room. No menus in room. No mini bar or water in suites. I picked up the phone to call. Try line 2, line 1 does not work. I called for room service but they were too busy. I was told to look for menu online. Paid $250+ for 1 night because I had a conference there. I have an infant, but I had to go out at 830pm to get food outside the resort. They said I could go to the bar and eat. I was not taking my 1 year old to the bar. If you get stranded here try Enzo's Italian. Don't forget to ask for plastic forks. If you don't ask for silverware you can walk yourself over to the bar because your room and the front desk doesn't have any.

Company training held in one of the meeting rooms and they were very professional. Could use more parking but meeting room had plenty of space.

Difficulty finding parking. Uncontrolled noise early morning. Use of gym free, everything else you pay for. Food and service are good. Reservations do not guarantee you the room you asked for.

I love that they sell SpaRitual vegan products at this resort! I lived the care I received at the spa! Thank you!=

The place is very broad. The rooms extremely comfortable. Safety my good. Pool, bar and restaurant. And the best that is close to everything.

Relaxing and quiet place. Perfect for a small getaway without really leaving the city. Very close to shops and the mall. The main pool was very well kept, clean, and beautiful. Great service and extremely friendly staff.

You don't want me to publicly write how bad this place was. We checked in- and immediately checked out .

Company Christmas party in the Society Lounge. Staff was excellent, food was pretty good as well.

Our room looked renovated and modern inside (except TV). We stayed at a suite and it was literally a 1 bedroom apartment with a kitchenette.
Staff and Food was Amazing! (Do yourself a favor and try the steakhouse... delicious!)
The outside of the building looks normal... may need some paint but it is minor as everything else was good!

We had no hot water, out TV didn t work, the safe in the room was not working and my husband got shocked by the lamp. One of the worst hotels I ve ever stayed at. When we let them know of our issues, the hotel did nothing, offered ZERO help.
Do not stay here!!

Very relaxing. Staff was very kind andade the stay even more delightful. Rooms were spacious and clean (loved the bodega toilet) Restaurants in the resort had many options and food was good

Our room was nice, employees very nice. The pool on the west side definitely needed repair but the pool next to the restaurants was beautiful. Pricey restaurants, we ate there 1 night and food was great. Ice machines didn't work in our building.

Gave 1 star because can't give zero. Staff at pool ignores you. Canal is full of trash. 1 or NO washcloths, have requested but never show up. Rooms old and musty. No vending machines or water bottles available. Tried to call with complaints! routed to 4 different people before getting someone who "can be" a manager. When started to complain, he all of a sudden couldn't hear us. Hmmmm. Do NOT waste your money here. If offered to upgrade with cruise, tell them NO THANKS. Waste of our hard earned money.

In the middle of nowhere, everything was atrociously overpriced, beds were falling apart, and no vending machines or bottled water anywhere.

If I could give less stars I would. I all currently staying after getting back from a cruise. Though the property is beautiful the room is lacking. Thinking we would get some rest before our flight we are sadly mistaken. We have decided to just sit in chairs until our flight. The bed is so uncomfortable that we are hurting. The bed is completely sunken in the middle to the ground. One side is up the other is down and the middle is on the floor. I have a crook in my neck that's in serious pain and even after a phone call to the front desk from my cell phone because the room phone isn't working I found no help. Won't be coming back ever.

This spa is amazing. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. There is a gym, full locker room with very nice showers, hot tub, and steam room in both the Men's and Women's locker rooms. The tea rooms and outdoor garden with waterfall are great.

Rooms are just ok. Decor could be updated. Service is great.

Went there for a church banquet and wasn't let down. Very comfortable and waiters/waitresses are great.

The security did a great job of kicking out Pokemon Go players from doing a legendary raid from the premises. They instead had to go to the public walking path behind the apartments nearby to battle the Zapdos.

Staff was very pleasant and accommodating but the resort itself looks totally run down. Grass around resort wasn't even cut almost shin high this place needs a total renovation. Only positive thing about here is staff and pool.

Stayed there this past week because we had a procedure done at the Cleveland Clinic. The Hotel room was wonderful and clean. I read a lot of negatives about this place but had no problems with the room. Its a little older with wonderful granite and real wood furniture. AC was real central air not some window unit that makes so much noise you can hear yourself think. Stayed on the second floor so no bugs like I read here. The grounds are just so lush and tropical its not hard to understand the occasional guest. I left slider cracked first evening and the little nats found there way in fast. The grounds,walking area and pool are very nice with lots of old growth and fish ponds.

As for negatives...There is construction going on across from drainage area on some homes. They start as early as 8am. Also expect to pay a undisclosed "Resort Fee" of $16.95 per day on top of your taxes and room charge. And they also hold $100.00 per day against debit cards. Just checked. This hotel has a large convention area so parking can sometimes be a challenge.

First room smelled moldy and was missing. Called the front desk to notify and they said they'd be right there. No response after 30 minutes, so went to the desk. We finally got a different room in same bldg but next floor up. Still moldy. Pool was green amd waterfall rocks were covered in black mold. Stayed there two years prior for a business meeting and was very good. It definitely has declined in maintenance.

Better than expected!

With so many average reviews, I was very hesitsnt to stay at this propperty but a nonrefundable reservation forced me to stay. We loved it.

The common areas are beaurifully maintained. We, myself, a five year old, and a seven year old, had lots of fun on the walking path, feeding the ducks, and exploring the koi pond. The kids loved the pool, waterfall, and hot tub. We are Florida natives so although the pools are heated, they are heated for those from the snowy states. I would have liked the pool muuuch warmer.

The double room provided sufficient space for us to not feel confined. The layout of the bathroom is great. We could all be in it without tripping over esch other. The girls were a little afraid of the bidet but gave it a try when I ran down to the car. We all laughed and then i cleaned the water from the floor. Did I mention the room was very clesn. No dust, no bugs. The only small issue was only one set of shampoo and soap was provided but that seems to be a cost savings plan followed by many hotels these days.

We did not try the restaurants but while I was checking in, the girls went to explore. I found them looking out a window drinking lemonade. The day shift bartender had brought them drinks. Totally sweet and appreciated.

Speaking of the staff. Everyone that I enountered was professiomal and smiled.

I would definitely stay at this resort again!

This is a great place, the steak house is phenomenal.

Cool waterfalls over the main pool. Great cabana next to the pool with excellent service by Jeff who's been there for 2 years. Food prices are not cheap but the serving size is quite large and tastes delicious. Accommodations are more than adequate but make sure you ask for dishes in the suites.

Spacious room. Everything is close. Limited restaurant/ food choices in evening. Pool closes at dusk, later access would have been nice for adults.

Nice, family friendly resort. Good food and helpful staff. Had a great time.

Terrible hotel. Paid a lot of money for a suite and the room is very basic, musty, and there are gnats everywhere in here. Was located a long walk away from the conference lecture halls. Cell service is very spotty here, so you have to use their pay wifi internet service. Tried to order room service. No menu in room. Had to wait 1.5 hours for a menu to be slipped under my door. Menu was very basic. Ordered a burger and a Cobb salad with a Pepsi and a Chardonnay. Was supposed to take 25 minutes to deliver. Took 45 minutes. Arrived cold. Pepsi was in a small cup, not even a can. And it was flat. And they over charged me for the wine) $12 instead of $5 and they forgot the Cobb salad. Plus there is construction behind the hotel with a torn up field and a sad little canal. It is not lush and tropical like the photos. The one decent thing they did was to forgive the room service bill, which was nice of them.

Husband and I stayed here for several weeks. Resort was comfortable most of the staff was pretty friendly. Until tonight my husband was leaving out of the suite and lite a cigar. Nothing illegal about smoking cigars. So one of the guest next door had a problem with the smoke. Totally understand that everyone doesn't like smoke. So a police academy reject cross the border security guard decides he wants to make a big deal out of it. We immediately contacted guest services to apologize and try to rectify the problem. They tell me it's ok. So the police academy reject insists on making it a big issue , and bold face lies and says he came inside of the room and there was smoke. Instead of them sending someone to the room to check the try and force me to pay a 250 fee. I have been a guest here about 21days total and they charge me 100 a day incidentals so there's tons of bank hold from their facility. The worst part about this story is that I'm traveling with 2 little kids and because I refuse to pay the 250 because the manager with his rude disrespectful self didn't take the time out to send someone to investigate the matter they put mult children and I out of the hotel just terrible customer service I asked the manager does he have a wife and kids and how would he feel if they were evicted from a hotel based on an assumption without investigating first I'm starting a patrician to boycott this dump and will be contacting the media outlets

Dirty, stained carpet, 1980 design, nasty ironing board covers, etc... I wouldn't recommend this hotel to a friend. The hotel rooms aren't connected to the main lobby and restaurant.. After you check in you are instructed to drive across the property to the room. The hotel rooms are NO WHERE NEAR 4 STAR as advertised. We had a 2 night booked, didn't stay for night 2, couldn't wait to get out. Side note: Coors light and shot of Patron $21 at the bar. smh

If I could give it a 0 I would. The lobby is nice. The restaurant we ate at was good. The hotel room was disgusting!!!! The sheets had holes in them. The bathroom smelled like mildew. There were dead bugs in the window sills and on the air conditioner. The room was hot due to the air conditioner not working. When I complained to the front desk he said I could not be moved because it would take over 3 hours to get another room cleaned. He sent housekeeping and maintenance to the room. It was midnight and we had just drove 11 hours. They cleaned them room, not very good though, but the ac was broken. Miraculously another room was now ready after maintenance said the ac was unfixable and we had a child and that we needed another room. This was 30 mins later, not 3 hours. The second room was better, but still nowhere near acceptable. The ac was barely working, the down comforter was old and empty, it only had filling in a few spaces. Since it was so late we stayed, but used our own blankets. We checked out after getting a few hours of sleep,but we were suppose to be there for 2 nights. DO NOT STAY HERE. The lobby area is updated, but the rooms look to be about 25-30 years old. They are old, dirty, malfunctioning, and have a mildew smell. And the staff at the front desk is horrible.

Stayed at the Bonaventure a few weeks ago and I have to say it's one of the best resorts in Broward County. We're frequently in the area and love staying at new hotels and this is easily one of our favorite.

This was a lovely timeshare resort that my family enjoyed. We had a combination A and B side rental to make a two bedroom apartment with two kitchens and two separate living rooms. This space comfortably accommodated five guests. The pools were clean and warm, which was very pleasant. The location was central to many South Florida attractions such as Miami, Sawgrass Mills and beaches.

Very disappointed with the room and housekeeping services. Rooms are very dated although the bathrooms weren't too bad.
On check in the phone didn't work, there was 1facecloth for 2 women, only 4 hangers, no blankets and a next to empty coffee service. Walked to the reception where the staff was very friendly and apologetic. Someone was suppose to come and rectify the situation but didn't show up.
Asked again the next morning..finally got the phone working and blankets. Had to ask again for hangers and facecloths.
Received hangers and still no facecloths.
Room was cleaned and towels were not replenished. Finally went and bought our own.
The Spa was fantastic. Very friendly and you certainly got what you paid for.

Rooms smelled of mold and urine, unfriendly staff, breakfast horrible, dirty sheets, dirty curtains, this resort is not the place to stay.

Room smelled horrible! Their yelp page offers a room upgrade which they refused to uphold. Walls are ridiculously thin, we could hear everything outside as if we were there. Resort fee is too high. On the bright side, the gym is nice, lots of fun crossfit style equipment.

Enjoyed my stay. They do not supply shampoo nor body lotion. Otherwise it would get 5 stars.

Beautiful spa tucked far far away in the hotel. Sweet staff and a great massage/facial. Who s definitely go back!
They had a super nice serene garden area in the front, a nice tofu locker room and the pool area looked delightful! Will try to take a swim if I get a chance to revisit this place. The snacks and tea/ infused water was a nice touch as well. Thanks

Beautiful resort. Fun and friendly staff. Excellent stay! Oh yeah, the spa is also incredible.

Went to spa. It was nice. Tried to lay out by the pool but the lawn person thought it appropriate to do leaf blowing over and around me. Also had lunch. The food was average...nothing to rave about.

On the surface and website, this is a "luxury" hotel. When you arrive, it is not. The rooms are in buildings spread out and exterior facing (motel style), some rooms do not come with fridge or microwave, the wifi is not far reaching and cable is fuzzy, rooms are large but furnishings are extremely outdated and there are absolutely no luxury items from the latest 10-15 years. The service is nice, there is no room service and the on site food options are sub par in quality.

There are nine different accommodation buildings, slightly annoying as some are very far from the main pool and lobby. Suites are nice, with good room service. On the left of the lobby there is a koi pond with wooden paths weaving between it on stilts. The main pool has a nice waterfall, with a family of black cats currently living in an alcove on the side of it. There are east and west pools, but they are smaller and have no defining features. A large Cabana is situated behind the main pool, with smaller outdoor snack and drink stores behind the east and west pools. There is a ballroom, and at least one large conference room. Nice place, good to stay in.

I had purchased a Groupon the year before in 2017 and was only able to use 1 visit due to a severe sickness I had to combat. I called their director just now to ask if they would be able to honor a second one being that I only was able to use 1 visit out of the 30 days. She didn't even hesistate to say No. Being a wellness facility one would think they would be understanding of my situation and honor me the opportunity to come back so I can help myself in recovery and possibly even have the chance to become a member of theirs. Highly dissatisfied with what she said over the phone and will make note of this encounter. I am in the health wellness profession and we do not turn away our clients especially with good reason.

Rooms are of any quality to deserve better than 2 Stars. The staff is friendly, however.

My husband and I stayed here for a night on our way to the keys to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary.We flew in from New York and we were very happy to have stayed here,it was absolutely beautiful,the suite was much more than expected and the bed was very very comfy.Stay,stay at Bonaventure,you won't regret it at all.

Very good our experience .... excellent location, super spacious rooms, very good cleaning service, excellent restaurants and bar ..... we were at a wedding in the Country Club and it was the maximum, first, all super nice. .... we came back delighted with everything.
