Very acceptable infrastructure hotel, has all the services and rooms very comfortable.
Stay there for 3 days and honestly had nothing but problems, ranging from having to change rooms twice to no parking spaces available
Rooms are clean. Amenities are super nice. And pool is great.
A bit messy hotel in general. The room was very good.
Staff was friendly, but the beds were uncomfortable, ants in the room and the bathroom door did not close.
Great service staff for professional events. Vegan options would be nice on the menu, and power strips in the tables in the conference room would be nice. But overall very pleasant.
Great food (steak) and service. The staff really takes care of their guests
Reception was both welcoming and accommodating. I asked to change rooms and for a refrigerator. Both were arranged. The hot tub and one of the pools were not in order. I was told they were getting ready for a renovation.
It does not rate four stars. My roo. Smelled of mildew and was small the mates needed to be replaced. Every time I moved you could he the springs groan. The Internet connection was so slow my computer kept timing out
Worst customer service ever! Rooms are okay. Elevators broken and we are on the 4th floor. No towels or soap in the rooms. Called the front desk and they said they would bring some and they never showed up. Save your money and stay somewhere else.
Don t be fooled by the grandiose front entrance and all of these reviews. The rooms are old and not impressive at all for the amount of money they are charging looks pretty on the outside with the pool in the main building there for you pay and you get to your room you will thank me for this review. Old and broken down in need of a lot of work. Wish I had better things to write.
Its paradise, beautiful cared for grounds, friendly birds.. friendly staff, came here for a business convention
The place is very nice and the rooms are very comfortable
Charges $100.00 incidental fee wether you need it or not. Room was nice but outside (exterior) looks dumpy for the money.
Gorgeous Hotel. Rooms are comfortable. Property is so beautiful. Spa and fitness center on site. Nature walk around the back side of the building is a cute add as well. Will be happy to come back and stay here.
Travelled with my wife and 2 kids, comfortably. Staff is beyond accommodating.
This was one of my favorite stays on our vacation. The bartender Mitch was very personal and fun to talk to! The rooms were very clean and nice. The landscape around there was amazing!!! recommend this resort to everyone!! Thank you.
Excellent place. Quiet and with close access to reach the beach, shopping or travel north or south
Very outdated and poor customer service. Then to top it off there was black mold in the closet
This hotel is nice!!! But they can improve it with modern furnitures. The room is comfortable
Pool was nice. As with most pools, seats were limited, so getting poolside earlier is a good move. Not a super large pool but has a nice little waterfall. Also, a tiki bar with BTW, awesome people working back there.
Resort is quite large with rooms in several buildings. There is a central building with restaurants and conference rooms. Guest rooms and also other places are bit dated and should be upgraded. When I was there (as a conference guest) WiFi at most places was completely unusable. Food just OK. Staff was nice.
Excellent location, especially if you go shopping at Sawgrass.
It was nice, customer service lacked a little. But nice overall stay
Smells bad , small room, bad bed, dark room , and very expensive for wht they offer, a 3 start hotel we move to was a 5 star competing to this one, and price half
Great facilities and nice staff. But, the air conditioning needed to be regulated better because many of the conference rooms were too cold.
Very good Resort a bit old good attention needs remodeling in some points
I have not seen the place during daytime hours with some sunlight I could tell you I just checked in at approximately midnight the place is extremely dated and nowhere near worth the amount they ask per night I feel like I walked into my grandma's house when I saw the TV the towels are counted they give you exactly two there is not one thing that is given that makes you feel at this place want you to come back first and last never again they still use I homes that won't charge anyone's phone unless you still have the first second or third generation iPhone but if you have anything newer then that sorry I needed to ask the front desk a question I pick up the phone press the button there's no dial tone
Scott the manager is a real dick. Have dealt with a customer service manager with as much attitude as he has.
It was hard to get him on the phone. They don't care if you're upset. They get a lot of airport rollovers so fill up frequently, and customer service or satisfaction is not a priority. At $179 for a double you're better off spending your money elsewhere.
Disappointing, very few staff for a mid-sized hotel. That's why the service is very poor. For events, the internet or signal celular does not work, so you have to pay 250dolars per day to access the internet.
Excellent, very clean, beautiful and quiet neighborhood,
A bit old and stoggy. It could use a renovation. Other than that, a clean and good hotel.
First appearance made me feel like I couldn't afford the place. Lamborghini parked out front $20 valet service and just the high class feel. I was happy to find that they were able to check me in at 11 vs normal 4.
I get to the room and was pleased. Quickly I realised they price gouged for the concert. The toilet shock more than the bed. The tv wasn't even basic it was antenna or payperview. No mini fridge. And I swear the spare blanket had cum stains on it. Horrible water pressure. And paper thin walls. I could hear a conversation in the next room.
The next day (cause it was a two day event) maintence comes in and says and says they will have to relocate me as the toilet has to be fixed.
After waiting an hour for a call that never happened I walk to the front desk because no one answers when I call. I explain what I was told to which they ask if I was packed up ready to relocate. Seemed like they were waiting on me. Anyway finally get to my new room. It has a pool view ( they have 3 pools, 1 main 2 on either end). The pool wasnt the main pool and no one was in it. Though it was on the pool was filled with leaves.
None the less the ac in the roo. Was top notch. Besides that NOT a resort outside the lobby. Maybe this was good back in the day but now its just over priced for a run down feel
As far as I can tell, well maintained and polite staff. Room was clean and in good repair. Everything worked in the room. I will probably stay here again.
Had my son wedding reception there. Lorena the server was exceptionally sweet
Really a regular hotel..., the time to get a package its something about 3 days after It arrived... Waiting a Lot... Actually I Still waiting here in the reception...
It is very neglected on the outside and looks run down. The gardens are abandoned, a shame because the design is good.
The pieces inside are nice but they lack a bit of deep cleaning.
The lobby and the reception bar are very nice and there is a man who plays the piano like the gods.
This seems to be a really nice hotel but our room wasn't clean it was still dirty from the previous guest. The ice machines -they dont work. Our ice bucket still had water in it from previous guest and be prepared to get linens before you take shower cause our rooms maid decided to sleep on the job I guess and not leave us none. They say they have several restaurants but they bar is the only one that was open. When we called front desk they said sorry it wasn't up to our standards.. please... any hotel motel has a check list.. how hard is to make sure your maids are doing what they are suppose to in a nicer hotel.. it's not our standards it wasnt up to, it's any normal hotel policy. Over all it had nice atmosphere Pretty walk ways to the pool. Cleaness is my only complete and the staff not that friendly. Dont complain you get hung up on.
Pool was nice, and they did a nice job of catering our conference events. Downside... Rooms are dated. Internet was weak and disconnected alot. Location is not great if you don't have a car, as on-site food options are pricey. All rooms have outside entrances. Housekeeping was spotty. Never left enough towels and washcloths, and never replaced bath mat after first day, and didn't empty main garbage in bedroom one day
Nice little hidden getaway. Great natural great pool great service I would recommend staying here. if you want to relax. They just need to do a little maintenance of some areas.
Their yoga classes are really good. They always have enough clean towels, matts, yoga blocks and bands etc. Not much crowded like others gyms. Enough parking. Very Clean and tidy. Overall I love it
We are staying here for a package we bought . Young man says he will upgrade us to the king suite. Lol well you have a refrigerator and a top space to cook but no utensils or pots or plates and so on . So why have a kitchen ! Also room smells bad like bug spray or old mold can t tell ! My view is a I guess a man made river with construction site horrible ! The outside is not nice it s like pulling up to a very old hotel rooms are outside not inside parking lot is scary we had came from the Marriott in Orlando and was a little scared ! The rooms they put us in was way in the back a 3 min walk to the pool where everyone is they say we have a pool haven t found it ! 1 wash cloth for two people ! Two towels and I m sure there is no service back here !!!!! Oh and the most basic cable ever no movie channels at all! The place is very spacious that is why I gave it 2 stars . Everything is outdated everything stains on the couches burn holes in the curtains .
The bed lol is a spring low mattress that has a sheet straight on the mattress no fitted sheet so we went and bought a bed bug protected and our own sheets if it s still on in 111-7 your welcome ! I don t know who owns this but they have a lot of work to do I would never call this a spa resort nothing resort about it ! I have stated at Marriott dunes resort and this will make u cry !!!! You can hear your neighbors tv and we stayed on first floor you can here them moving furniture or whatever that was all night !!!!! Now I m just a normal person that just wanted a nice vacation you MUST HAVE A CAR to be out here and don t let the location fool you ! I would never stay here again in life ! And the timeshare meeting I have to go to at 8 am that is 40
Minutes from here lol well forget it ! I paid a lot of money for a 89 room a night lol !!! Research research that all I have to say !!!
Rooms were very dirty. Roach in the closet. The carpet was so dirty it turned white socks dark. The pool and hot tub were nice though. The location was very good. Room service was bad too.
We have been here four times, yesterday Fran was running the outside bar, he definitely needs some overall training without a doubt, the past three times AD was running the outside bar and he is on point with his customer service, he remembers who is located where, and who ordered what, my husband and I would give him 5 stars. The pool is nice, the bathrooms have always been clean, the seats are set up for social distancing, and you do have to wear a mask when entering the building. We just hope that AD is working the next time we go.
Great place to spend your time, very pleasant, and relaxing.
Lovely old resort. Not the most up to date (I.e. not enough charger plugs) and furnishings a little worn, but the grounds are beautiful with mature tropical trees and canal views, and rooms are large, especially the one BR with kitchen. Note, there s nothing provided for cooking or eating in the room. . Very nice staff, large property with lots of green space visible from every room. Beautiful sunsets from the west end, and sunrise is nice, too. Easy parking. Good food!
The people who work here are absolutely amazing! I can't wait to go back! Best service and the most friendly people!
The staff, both reception and waiters and assistants always impeccable, friendly, friendly and attentive. Possibly the best of the hotel. The regular location, away from places of interest. Just rooms, something simple, little wardrobe and drawers.
The rooms were very clean and well put together. The thing about my situation was I needed a place to sleep and leave the next morning, so if you're looking for a good night's rest then that's a great place to go. The only real negative was the TV in the room was older than I was so I had to watch YouTube on my phone. The plus side to that was the wifi was extremely fast.
It was nice and relaxing. The rooms are outdated, but the fact that it had a balcony which allowed for the doors to be opened and the breeze to blow in made it more Serene.
Great place to relax.
My main complaint... The shower drain had a large ball of hair in it! That was disgusting... Other than that, it is a great place to relax!
worst internet connection forever. If you want minimum internet connection to check emails don't choose this hotel. They have an internet company and called their customer service 10 times a day and it is worst worst worst internet connection.
THINK THRICE before selecting this hotel if you need good internet connection
Im never one to complain about literally anything and I hate the fact that im doing this right now but something needs to be done. Do not spend $200 a night to get away from reality at this place. If you want to come here just so you can stay up all night tossing and turning, please do so. If you want a peaceful night and a full 8+ hrs of sleep, dont even think about coming to this place. Lets start with the little things, the little sliding lock on the door was busted when we came into the room, the tv looked like the satellite was being covered every 5-10 mins (imaging was terrible) the restroom smells like literal fish and its unbearable, throughout the entire room, the bathroom door doesnt close all the way so the smell is unstoppable, i was up every 40 mins- 1 hr because the ac would start whistling like a train every 5 mins or so, i had to turn it off. Then the walls are so thin that the neighbors next door had an alarm going off at 5 am this morning and we could hear it. We woke up thinking it was our alarm only to realize we cant turn it off. The showers water pressure sucked I mean you re better off showering in the rain to be honest. But for some reason the water pressure in the sink was so hard that when you turned it on it sounded like a waterfall, about 5-6 am the sound of water drops sounded like someone left the sink on with a megaphone next to it and it radiated throughout the room but it wasn t from our room again. Creaking would occur from what Sounded like old pipes in the walls of the building. Long story short, I was up all night because either this place is haunted or it needs to be rebuilt. Don t come here if you re looking for a get away because you won t get one. Not to mention the traffic outside and construction going on. Good luck.
The rooms are nice, location Seems nice too. The service so far has been nice
Very nice resort, staff was excellent always there taking care of you very relaxing, great little getaway for a staycation
Very nice and clean. Peaceful and comfy rooms. Love it there.
Nice studio, comfy.beds, great pool. Good reasonably priced on site dining options
Little variation in the food, cold food and the people who attended us seem to want us to leave the place. A lot of Cachet but I did not like the service
Not a fan of this hotel at all. Check in was fine. My only issue initially was the campus like set up of the hotel after seeing the photos of the hotel online I don't feel the resort came close to measuring up.
Parking which I was ok with paying the $6 per night to park however the lot outside of my room was completely full as was all of the lots around the building where my room was. While I was in the lot I asked a person working for the hotel where I should park. They told me to head back to the main lobby and they will valet my car. At first this sounded fine. Once I got back to the main lobby and spoke to the valet they told me they would be parking my car in the a lot that was on the other side of the resort which I would have to walk to if I needed my car.
Once I arrived at my room I found both the door that connected my room the room next mine open. I also found the door wall to be unlocked. Which was an issue since I was located on the first floor. I attempted to call the front desk from the phone in main sitting area of the room but the phone was dead since it was left unplugged. I then used the phone in the bedroom to call the front desk to explain my issues. They apologized. I called the front desk later that evening requesting a wake up call for 4am since I had an early flight. Luckily I had set my alarm on my phone to wake me since I never received a wake up call.
The room smelled musty and damp. While I am sure this is type of experience is not regular I will never stay at this resort again. buyer beware, don't believe the 4 or 5 star rating this resort would be lucky to get 3 stars.
room was clean. front desk staff was misleading. I was given a "complementary" snack then expected to pay for it and the other snack I didn't even take. Watch the staff, again miss leading. they will try to strip you of any penny they can. By any means possible.
Pull out bed is a little rough. Great pool and great bars. And a private club!
The purpose of my trip was for a business convention. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely visit this hotel on vacation.
This place it like a miniature paradise. You walk out from the lobby to such an amazing view. I had an upgraded room so it had a kitchenette, 2 bathrooms, seperate living and sleeping areas, belcony, there was the option for a connecting room that I did not have but I could see how nice that could be.
The room was a little out dated, the toilet paper could be a better quality, also the kitchenette had no utencels, cook wear or glass wear. ( i never asked about it so maybe they will provide when asked) I also expected the fridge to be stocked but there was only 1 waterbottle for my entire stay.
The meeting rooms were very nice and large so it is an amazing place to hold a work event/trip.
I would recommend this place.
Very large resort with beautiful gardens, large pool and clean facilities. The guest halls are perfect for a party or event. The rooms are updated and clean and the service personnel are very friendly and helpful.
Very cozy and nice breathtaking scenery nice neighborhood
We were given the Bonaventure as a choice to use while we were in Florida for an event. When we first got there at check in time, our room was not ready. I would NEVER stay there again. When we finally checked into our room, we were given a room that clearly smelled of mold (ground floor). When we asked for a change, they said there were problems from the hurrricane and were given another ground floor room which still smelled of mold. I have since been told that this situation existed before the hurricane. We were forced to stay there as we had to get to the event and had no time to argue and it seemed all the rooms were the same. The second room had a sliding door (which would not lock, but was fixed when we mentioned it) to the outside, so we opened it to air it out. Suddenly ducks appeared, slid in between the grates surrounding the enclosure and would not leave. They were very aggressive and appeared to feel it was their home. Perhaps people feed them. We therefore could not leave the door open and stayed in the moldy room with no outside ventilation. I have been sick since our trip (one month ago) and have to believe this situation exacerbated a reaction since I had lung surgery in the last year (which I explained to the front desk). I would never stay there again even though the facilities were otherwise adequate. I don t like leaving bad reviews, but if this is a problem due to the hurricane, the rooms should not have been rented out. It is something they need to address.
