Bonaventure Resort and Spa Review

If i could leave a 0 star i would do, first when we reserve the stay we had to wait a whole hour to actually get in the room due to a processing time from a 3rd party seller. And when we got to the room it smells like a great grandmother house, old bedroom set, Tv is small and the quality is bad. The room did not had a fridge. The room looked like it was a long time ago was cleaned. The pool is not kid friendly as advertized it looks dirty. We spoke to the front desk to canceled our stay since it was really bad. The place itself lookes abandoned, i wish i could take some pictures but i didnt because i wanted to get out of there ASAP.

Nice hotel but rooms are a little outdated and the pillows on the bed are very low quality. They offer nice conference amenities and the drinks are good from the cabana bar. I do wish the on site restaurants offered s better selection of food.

Nice hotel, good food. Rooms ok, with kitchen - but without equipment.

3 days 2 night stay . Insulted by manager at check in. Did NOT STAY!

Came here for an event. This is supposedly a super swanky resort, but I'm just unimpressed by the quality of the facilities and level of service. Things are generally a little warn and run down, demonstrating a lack of care for and attention to upkeep. One of our group asked for a different type of tea than the tea laid out on the table, and the team member replied, "If you don't see it, we don't have it." I'm actually fine that this is the case - a hotel offers what it offers and if they don't have anything else, that's reality - but I think there's a better way to express that same thought to a guest. A simple, "I'm so sorry, we don't have any additional options." would suffice....and be infinitely better.

I am currently staying here tonight and I am OUTRAGED at this situation. Staying here only tonight after attending a concert. Came back to the hotel and is midnight and there is not a SINGLE vending machine to get water, the front desk said they don t have any water to give me, there is not even water to purchase in the room and the bartender has disappeared or left and is apparently the only person I can get water from??! This is not a 4 star hotel! This place is in the middle of nowhere it s not like I can go walk next door for a bottle of water! How unprofessional and unserviceable this place is in a moment like this they should at least have complimentary water?!!! No, nada, if you are thirsty you are screwed and doubt tap water is safe! WOW
To make things worst, in the morning Room service screaming in the hallways and waking you up with their walkie talkies. Terrible experience.

Doing a lot of renovation right now but the pond and pool is nice.

Main lobby looks great, clean, updated, staff was extremely kind and friendly.

Then.......you walk into the rooms. Dirty, outdated, paper thin walls, stains everywhere. There was a good quarter inch of dust piled up underneath the bed. Main area is nice, but the rooms/other buildings need a lot of improvement!
