gorgeous venue. Great for a spa day with the girls!!!
Excellent room, very friendly staff, super air conditioning, in general everything very good.
Place sux, TERRIBLE service. Looks fancy but watch out.
Great bars and restaurants. staff friendly. TVs in rooms out dated
not fear with packages fees, first informed by phone , not any more
Lobby looks great, rooms and building need pressure washed, most uncomfortable mattress, stain on bed sheet, carpet needed clean, AC smelled of mold, this place needs to be condemned, and remodeled
Great town and great hotel with full service. Great customer service.
No ice no washcloths no answering the phone no return calls all that one hotel you figure it out
I think that the rooms are wonderful very nicely kept and the restaurants also very nice and so is the food the property is very nice and the pool looks beautiful can't wait to try it out
Very expensive food. Not conveniently located near other eating establishments.
Very Peaceful, beautiful views and cozy rooms. Would recommend to anyone.
Amazing staff and hospitality! I d go back just for them. Thank you! :)
The spa here is lovely. Marco is a phenomenal massage therapist. The resort is comfortable and reasonably priced but it is outdated. The pictures don't show the massive construction out back. The food was good at the Zen bar and okay at the Cabana restaurant by the pool. The breakfast buffet is wonderful and certainly worth the $17. Lots of pools and international guests.
Splurge on the Privilege pass.... The rooms and whole experience was 10x better.
Bed mattress was too soft. Hotel restaurant was not good at all. Large comfortable room and bathroom. No washcloths in bathroom.
We purchased a resort day pass. I phoned prior to arrival to ensure that would be social distancing and what the setup was for chairs. We understood that they were first come first serve but that they were separated. On arrival there was no valet which was included in the day pass. Went to main pool area expecting some sort of organization but there was nine. It was bedlam. Kids everywhere, piles of chairs - including personal ones. No distancing. Trying for the best we went to the adult-only pool as suggested by the front desk - only to find it closed at 4 p.m rather than 8!!We made one final attempt to salvage the day and went to the hot tub (outside temp 94f) only to find it was not working. Very much not worth the money nor the 25-minute trip it took for us to get there.
I met a colleague at Boneventures bar area for an informal meeting. Everyone at the hotel is polite and professional. The wait staff was very attentive and pleasant.
We recently stayed at this hotel, and had a fantastic time. We originally started our stay in a standard room, but the carpet was slightly damp by the window. When we brought this matter to the attention of Alexandra, hotel representative, she promptly upgraded us to a complimentary suite. We felt the rooms were very clean and spacious, especially the bathrooms. The hotel staff in general, were very friendly and attentive. The pool area was clean, and quiet. A relaxing, wonderful experience. We will certainly return in the future.
Great place to stay and very tranquil. Food is great but they need to ease up on the salt! Very nice pools!
This is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are dated as well as everything in them. The cordless phone in the bedroom doesn t function in the slightest and the pullout couch where my kids were supposed to sleep may as well have had a piece of cardboard as a mattress. When we a requested a cot (we were the first on the waiting list) we never received one despite asking 24 hours in advance. My kids slept on the floor. If god forbid I wanted to lock away my valuable items, I would be in crisis because the lockbox doesn t work. If you wanted to time travel and receive the same accommodations you would ve in the 70s, look no further. This is the hotel for you. Bathrooms are nice though.
Worst experience at a hotel. There was a religious event at the hotel. We were told, on check-in, that most of the hotel was not available to us because of religious traditions. We were under the impression just the main pool was closed. The hotel was DISGUSTING there was food left on the floor, on outside tables and floors. We expected the large outside area with tables to be cleaned, but it was left this way for more than 24 hours. It smelled pungent. The rooms are absolutely disgusting. Musty and cigarette stains on the floor. I have never stayed in such a repulsive hotel. I urge you to look elsewhere. Even if you have to stay in ft laurderdale, which we would have done if we didn't have a commitment across the street from the hotel. I think it takes a lot for anyone to log into a website and write out a complaint. So, I would advise you to steer clear of this hotel. It was a disaster.
The worst resort and spa ever stayed at the rooms need immediate attention/work there s holes in the wall , towel rack hanging, minor repairs that should ve been completed there was no pots pans dishes available in the room and no extra tissue After calling request bathroom tissue it took over an hour for someone to bring tissue to the room I don t understand how timeshare owners pay for this style of living and monthly maintenance fees however when the property start depreciating they wait years after to remodel when It should be taking care of a upon incident so wouldn t get out of hand like it is.
Amazing space to host meeting and functions, staff are well equipped to provide you with great information and resources to accommodate your requirements and your.
A very good surprise that the blue flight was postponed. Clean and large room, we were offered quality lunch and dinner. We were very well attended. Would definitely return
Room was dirty and dated. Had air fresheners hanging from the vents. Mold and dirt throughout. One washcloth and two towels for 4 people. We had three rooms total and only one room had water. Hotel was noisy after midnight, no parking by our building and no ice in any machines. Brought all issues to attention of the manager who discounted our rooms and made no excuses, as she knew they had these problems. There were servers others in the lobby complaining of the same issues. The hotel did credit some of the money but would have been nice to have a hotel that supplied basic needs for a stay.
Beautiful location price is overrated. Breakfast is awesome
Great Hotel. Easy access to spacious rooms. Easy access from the car to your own room apartment style. Excellent beds. Great service. Love it. :)
Wonderful pool, great service. Quiet guaranteed, recommend!
I didn't stay in the hotel as a guest, only saw the structure, but it is beautiful and i would certainly sleep in if it was an option. The only problem is the weak coffee
Excellent time. Great service at the pool bar by A.D. Was very attentive and mixed a great drink
Beautiful resort. The gym is excellent with a great variety if equipment. The bars and restaurant workers are friendly and go the extra mile to deliver satisfaction on their service.
Great place for conference or special events. Lunch was good
Wonderful service, kind and very polite people. Amazing landscaping and the pool area is simply divine.
On prepaid trip, if you have choice of here or Ocean Manor. Stay here. Ocean Manor is ocean front but roach infested.
This place is just awesome all the way around. Attentive and polite staff . Great rooms.
The outside shouldn't judge you to avoid this place cause it is actually nice
Nice place but $35 average at best continental breakfast with a voucher. I felt violated!
Staff was very nice. Rooms are older and have packed down carpet smell. No complimentary water. Had to constantly ask for towels. One night it took over an hour to get them. I was told they hadn t been delivered yet. It doesn t have the amenities of a resort. Outdated.
Beautiful. Clean. Very nice. Good food. Nice pool. Worth the trip.
Extremely disappointed not sure why this is called a resort I have stayed in many places much nicer for less cost rooms are run down carpet is well traveled furniture is the same! My room at the Hilton the day before was 5 times better than here! Please note they will also hit you for $20 a day resort fee you know for wifi and parking PUKE!! Please save your
$$$$
It's cute . It has many services. But the room only has a coffee machine. There are many better ones. The location very far from the beach. I would not go back
Everything was great, but consider getting vending machines
Rooms are nice. Food at restaurant is expensive and is pre assembled and pre packaged every morning. Decent tasting but cost is too high for what it is.
Do not spend your money at this place... dirty and dated.
Relaxing atmosphere, nice place for special events, super pool area
Staff was amazing, attentive and accommodating. The resort could use a little more modernization, but that is only my preference. That might be the key selling point to the venue. Overall it is amazing.
Very horrible service! Extremely poor especially the front desk. First we re not able to check in till 9pm or after 9pm. We arrived at 2pm and I understand that it s not check in time yet. We came back at the front desk at 3pm and ask for the check in time, and young lady said around 4pm? and I asked if this problem does not have an exact checked in time and she responded the same answer just around 4pm . We were waiting at the lobby and walk at the front desk at 4:30 and they said they re gonna give us a call once the room is ready, we are sitting at the lobby which at the front of their desk, and we didn t hear anything at all. We start calling someone else within the property to get help since it s already 7pm we are still waiting but anyway we didn t get to check in till 9pm. So finally I was able to come to my room but unfortunately there is no internet, I called multiple times for two days and didn t get any help nor update till later of the 2nd evening to tell me they can t fix it. I requested a toothpaste and wasn t able to fulfill neither I didn t even try to make a follow up. And next I was looking for a package which I have to wait 40 mins just to see if they have it or they don t. But there are two young folks I met so far that was helpful one is Andrew from the front desk and one black young gentleman from the bar. And unfortunately we still have 10 more days to stay here.
Quiet, yet close enough to surrounding tourist areas. Great place for kids, beautiful pool and close enough for a ride to the beach. Great place to be instead of up north with the "north eastern" storms.
Rated 4 stars. Was really more kinda a 3star. Our king with kitchenette came without utensils, dishes, cookware or silverware. Wouldhave been nice to know that prior to checking in. The secondary pool by our room was dirty wouldn't swim there.
The main pool was fine, however, the hot tub was barely half full and tiny.
Nice place just don't expect the Ritz.
The property does not look like what is advertised on the internet. The room is basic. No fridge or microwave. Made one call for just over 10 minutes and the charge 119.00!!@@
The only nice thing about this place was the outside area near the front lobby and spa. The room was very basic. The room was small. The tv was small. There was no view outside the window. There was no fridge or microwave. As I was in the room the cleaning lady tried coming into the room twice at different time. The tv did not work, I have to call twice for someone to come out and fix it. Definitely not a 4 star in my eyes. I would never like to stay here again. Then at check out I was hit with a resort fee I was never told about. When I asked what it was for they said it was for WiFi and parking.
Nice place to stay with reasonable prices during this time. We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights and they were all clean. The suites are definitely nicer than the deluxe rooms. But all had similar decor. The non suite rooms had a lake view but currently construction ruined the view. The place has an amazing pool, koi ponds, and lots of other wildlife. The breakfast was good also but kind of confusing how it works. If you get the free continental breakfast it really means $15 towards breakfast. The only issue I had was poor lighting at night. There were some bugs outside at night which were hard to avoid since there was low light.
Nice place. I liked the terrace / balcony that I had. The beds were comfortable and I liked the atmosphere of the kitchen.
Incredible, super friendly staff, great rates, great suites
Terrible attention, uncomfortable beds and very old furniture. There was no staff, bad treatment. We were given a room and it had not been fixed. It looks like a ghost hotel until hostesses or a convention appear. I do not recommend it at all.
Nice stay. Room was right next to private pool, kids really enjoyed that! Only ate breakfast buffet, was great!
good place, very agreeable service but kind of old needs some refreshing to be done
Over all very nice place. Very close to my work so its a big plus
Wish there was water in the rooms, everything else is fine
Our second visit to the Bonaventure resort was excellent our room on third floor very clean and the service throughout the resort was too notch. An extra star for Fran.
I visited the Bonaventure Resort & Spa for a business trip. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and kind. I felt like the facility was kind of isolated and a decent drive from more popular restaurants and Ft. Lauderdale attractions. Additionally, I thought the restaurants on site were decent, but overpriced for the quality of food you were getting. The breakfast "buffet" was over $23 for standard fare like eggs, toast, waffles & oatmeal. I would likely stay somewhere else if I was heading to the area again.
Average place, its big, does have facilities but management is not that competent, staff isnt well trained. You need to be careful at the billing counter, check all the charges before you pay the bill....
Our conference was great. Over priced. really not all that
Slept horribly, when I woke up and looked at bed all the springs were popping out. They offered to let me check out later to sleep more. No thank you.
All the staff were kind. Ireland's steak house was awesome! I don't know the lady's name who works at the front desk but she was so helpful. My cruise was cancelled and I had paid alot of money for our trip. The travel center made a mistake and she got them to fax the voucher. I wish I knew her name. She is a black female. She was at the front desk when I checked in and out! Very kind and professional
I was there for my job meeting. The food in the restaurant was simple and delicious
