Excellent experience! I bought my vehicle from another dealer, but eventually needed some extended warranty work completed. Took to Baxter and worked with Jojo. She did an excellent job working with the warranty provider and was able to have the whole scope of work included. Lost the sale within 10 minutes of meeting my sales person (who's last day was the day I was there). If you're not going to give the sales people the authority to make the sale, then let them all go and the "managers" should be meeting the customers. I don't think she could have told me where the bathroom was without checking with her manager. Bought a new car the next day from a dealer down the street.

No reason to ever buy a car from baxter, i bought a used car from them. Was told it was in perfect condition and said it was supercharged and everything like that. They had no clue what had been done to the car and tried saying SS meant supercharged, clearly idiots selling cars and also have a recording of one of the owners saying they dont really inspect the cars they take as a trade in. They dont put them on lifts and look at what could be wrong with the car, they just visually inspect it than try to sell for double the price, i have already made it clear to them i will never buy another vehicle from them in my lifetime. And i have had 10 vehicles in the matter of 4years, just because i like to buy vehicles and trade them around, never buy from Baxter everyone i know says they have been ripped off from Baxter Ford and the others located in town.
My sales rep did a great job with finding options for me and keeping me updated through the process. Unfortunately for him, my experience with their finance department was absolutely terrible and highly disappointing. The person I worked with was suppose to be running numbers, but posted it as a deal with different numbers than what we had ever talked about. I then had to work with the guy in charge to get out of the deal that never should have been posted and also did not have a great experience with that. This has happened MULTIPLE times now to people I know so it is clear this issue is not trying to be fixed and the low level of integrity that is maintained (or lack there of). I would not recommend anyone I know here!

Without an appointment, the service dept was able to work me in the day after I took it in. Completed the work timely, found another problem that needed attention and submitted it for extended warranty coverage. Everyone was great to work with.

I love the service department!!! Brian Murray was outstanding the last time I brought my car in for a repair. Today I needed my tires checked, but didn t have an appointment. I stopped by to see if anyone could help me. I was greeted with a smile from Ben and when I asked if he could check my tires and maybe run my car through the car wash. He said no problem. I then went into the waiting room and to my surprise they had a wonderful coffee machine, comfy chairs and a tv on. It was so relaxing I could of stayed all day! When my car was done Don came and got me with a smile and said I was ready to go. Thank you for making my life easier!!! Don t change a thing!

Stopped in yesterday to look at a 2004 ford expedition. The price was low a little to low. Talked with there sales team he stated it would be there traveled from midtown to arrive to no car. The salesman then tries to talk us into another expedition but this one is more than double the price. A practice better known as bate and switch. We speak further with the salesman and he continues to apologize for the mistake. Stated his manager was supposed to call us but was to busy handling another upset customer. And promises to drive the car to our home today so we can test drive it. We call him up today and he is to busy and will take hours to get here. So we drive out a second time to look it over. The truck is trash, heated seats inoperable, mirrors don't work, tpms light on along with the check engine light. I am a auto tech by trade and brought along my dealer level scan tool. The car needed two to three thousand dollars of work which included and not limited to. IAT sensor and possible wiring, new heated seat switches, rear differential service do to extensive leak, new driver side mirror , rear tpms sensor, multiple tears in the headliner, missing speaker grill cover, screws for who knows what in the cup holder, and a total of 6 codes in 4 different systems. Tried speaking with sales manager over the pricing and he will not return our calls. If you are a person who believes a business should provide you with an honest quality product Baxter ford is not the dealer for you.
My experience was by far the worst experience I've had buying a vehicle. first as I'm looking at my vehicle of choice the salesman says every vehicle we sell goes through a 120 point safety inspection to make sure everything is in good condition safetywise then I get the vehicle and the breaks go streight to the floor which is far from safe in my mind. Second after the deal was made and I thought I was done filling out the paperwork i.e. purchase agreement title info wheel and tax sheet ext, I asked about the rental car I was offered as my vehicle was being detailed. My salesman grabbed the paper and asked what my address was 71 something? And when I gave it to him he seemed confused. He went to go check the paper work I signed and I had to wait an extra hour and a half as they put my old address on all the paperwork from when I first purchased a vehicle from baxter ford. And I kinda felt it as an insult that the gentleman in the back room gave me back a dollar. 1 dollar for waiting 1.5 hrs! After that I finally hoped in the rental and left just to have a tire blow on the interstate the very next day trying to return it. and if that wasn't bad enough about a month later I went to the dmv to try and get my truck registered but was unable to as they had the zip code from my old address from a different county which is a conflict of interest and have to wait for the title information in the mail again! So they got my address incorrect twice! Then waiting for the correct information to arrive in the mail my truck gets towed due to no plates. But they did write a check to cover the cost of the tow but not a penny more.
My 2nd biggest purchase was almost a great experience. Tyler Genovesi was not pushy at all. Instead, he was very helpful in finding a car for me by simply asking me what I wanted and not what he wanted to sell me. If it wasn't for the finance guy keeping me in a room for over an hour just trying to up sell me extra insurance, this probably would have been the best experience. I would recommend Tyler to anyone and I would make another purchase from him in the future if I ever need another car as long as Baxter has the car that I want. He paid very good attention and showed great professionalism.
I hate car shopping and Baxter is the perfect example of why. More concerned about extracting as much of your time and money as possible with little concern for the actual buyer. I'm not a gear head, but when I pointed out a noise that shouldn't exist in a vehicle I test drove they where condescending to me about it and worked very hard to convince me it was normal. I've now test driven more than 1 dozen used vehicles of the same model year with various mileage and the one at Baxter is the only one that made the "normal" noise. I recommend you stay away from Baxter or run away fast at even the slightest concern you might have
By far the worst car buying experience ever the sales man Matthew Vann was amazing at his job the day i went in and looked at cars i was clearly interested in buying and he knew it when i started talking prices i was transfered to another gentleman who was beyond rude with me i bought a car i knew already had problems and didnt even come with a manual or spare key yet they wanted top dollar i have had the car a week and am still getting calls about stuff they didnt have taken care of the day i bought it

Had a smooth and pleasant experience at Baxter. My sales associate, Jacob Johnson, was very helpful and professional. I was given a fair deal on my trade and Andy (in their financing department) worked diligently to make sure I was comfortable with my payment plan. This was my first time buying a used vehicle, and even though I was anxious at first, I feel really good and secure about the Certified Pre-Owned Ford Escape I ended up with. Jacob took the time to go through the entire Inspection Report/Checklist so I knew the car was in great shape ... also a BIG thanks to Jacob for helping me setup all the hands-free/voice activated features ... it would have taken me forever to figure all that out on my own. All-in-all a really good experience!!!

Yesterday I called in to see if there was any way that the service team could check my windshield wiper fluid as it seemed to be leaking into the car - I figured it would be a major project replete with setting an appointment for service.
But lo and behold, Roy, one of the managers told me to bring it on by because he said it sounded like just a disconnected hose. Turns out it was! He reconnected it, advised me on wiper blades, played with my son and then gave the car a wash without my asking! What service.

My experience buying my vehicle was amazing. My experience with custom service, and taking care of the things that we're part of the deal, have been horrible. All I ever get is a voicemail option, and no one gets back to me. I purchased my vehicle in July ,and the deal was I would get 4 new wheels due to the wheels being so damage. I purchased some coverage which included getting an undercoating ,and that hasn't been done yet either. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Update #3, my biggest issue has been addressed, outstanding issues on two household vehicles appear to be stopped, leaving it 3 stars since I did finally get good help on one big issue.

Expensive. Not to mention they have lost their customer support edge in the last couple years. I actually had to wait for people to come back from personal vacation before getting my paperwork done. It took a month for paperwork and licensing of my truck. Sad to say my last experience was the exact common fear of society when dealing with an automobile purchase.
We had a great experience starting with Meg in sales all the way through financing. We will definitely be back to Baxter Ford when we're ready to buy again.

With the help of David Brock and his sales manager and co-workers I was able to lease a new Ford Fusion at an affordable price. I am a single mother so my budget is important. They have a great play area to send your kids off to while you handle all the details. They even fed my daughter a cheeseburger when it was getting late and we hadn't had dinner yet. A few days after I leased my car I ended up getting my tire caught in a rain gutter when I turned the corner of a side street that has been in need of fixing for years in my hometown. The sales manager covered the cost of a new tire and I greatly appreciated that.
The sales rep Meg, make me feel welcome as part of her family, answer all of my questions, went beyond to tried to help me to get into the vehicle I wanted, and was very professional and honest all the way through the deal. I highly recommend

If you're in the market for a new (or used) vehicle, Ambrose is the man to see. He's now sold my husband several vehicles and two to me. He's never treated either of us badly amd always works very hard to help us find just the right deal for our needs! I would give the dealership 5/5 stars if HE was the only person with whom we dealt.
Ok, update to my previous review. So there were some minor issues with the car. We ended up getting an upgrade at no extra cost. Again, Ambrose was stellar at fixing the problem, especially with the help of Andrew in the finance dept. I would definitely give Baxter 5 stars now.
They sold me a decent car, after they messed up the paperwork on 4 occasions (wrong year and wrong miles, wrong year again, wrong miles again on final paperwork, didn't have a 2nd key), then tried to send me out without transfer tags or a final bill of sale. They stated the car had a second key, and then I was told they would work to get me a second key, but as of today I keep getting run in circles through different people and the shop wants 103 dollars total to make one. No one knows what they are doing between departments sales/finance/service don't communicate. The only person who did their job pretty well from the start was my dealer.

This is going to sound weird since car shopping is usually stressful, but that was by a very wide margin the most fun I've had car shopping. We threw them some curves with our situation but our salesman was terrific, we got a great deal on a great car. They added in some things we wanted & even got us a great maintenance package for a very low price.
