I had bought my Ford Fusion from this dealership. Scheduled oil change and tire rotation ahead of time. After waiting 2 hours only thing done was oil change. Then guy comes out and wants to charge more and take more time to do tire rotation and other things. Would not recommend this place or ever return. No care or respect for customers time!
********Follow up to the review above. Was able to speak to some about my experience. Was told I would get a call to schedule appoint to due what is need to remedy the situation. Over 30 days later and nothing. Wife called back up to schedule an apt to have my vehicle looked at and repaired and was told it would be till end of June or some time in July to get it taken care. ****** This place is the worst I have ever experienced. Bunch of liers , I bought a f150 some years a go and paid for all the extended warranty and under lainment and RUST PROTECTION this last one they told me the soon you see any rust you just bring the truck and we fixed no cost no matter a long you have the truck ( life time warranty).
Now my truck is full of rust I been trying to get some to get me any answers, but no luck!!!

I recently purchased a car from Baxter Ford, specifically from Tim Kennedy. Tim was more than helpful making sure I picked a car that was going to suit me for the long term. Buying a new vehicle can be overwhelming and stressful, Tim put my mind at ease and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process.
My experience was so good with Tim that when the time came for my fiance to get a new car we went back and leased a brand new Ford Fusion. We'd never leased a vehicle before and Tim did a great job of helping us weigh the pros and cons so we could make a well informed decision!

When we were looking for vehicles we stopped at Baxter to compare before purchasing from another dealer. Kevin Putnam was very quick and effective in figuring out all of the numbers without pressuring us in any way. We went back 3 more times working with many of their employees and they were ALL great. Two things that stood out to me were: 1. They did not bad mouth any other dealers to try and earn our business. 2. They worked to get us exactly what we wanted very quickly! Based on our experience I would highly recommend Baxter Ford West Dodge.

Unbeatable experience. Ray Mitchell is the man. He was polite and honest while also willing to work with you and his team to get the price to fit your needs. I bought my Explorer from him and has been willing to answer every question I have regarding it even after the sale. He really cares about what he sells you. Evan Tricker introduced himself as I strolled the lot, awaiting my wife's 2021 Bronco's oil change. I bought the 2020 Eco Sport SE, to replace my 2013 Honda Civic. The whole experience yesterday was just great, no pressure (we even left to go look at another maker of vehicles and came back), just hands down an awesome experience... actually the best experience Darren and I have ever had at any dealer. When I first got the email about being eligible for a unique upgrade on my current lease, I was a little hesitant to do it but decided to send an email with my questions. Carmen Jensen replied to me immediately and put my mind at ease about seriously considering doing the trade. She was also very helpful in my checking out the insurance cost by emailing a VIN to my agent so they could accurately quote it. When my Husband and I decided to do the trade, she told us to talk to Ryan Flynn. He was a pleasure to work with being very helpful and advising us of our options. We ended up choosing a 2015 Ford Edge which we are so happy with it! I also want to mention Patrick Fischer, our finance man. He was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with as well. I previously purchased a vehicle from Baxter Ford with the help of Ryan Flynn who was a huge help and made the buying experience great! He followed up to make sure everything was going well with the vehicle and solved any questions or problems we had with no hassle.
Today I went back because I'm trying to sell a vehicle and I dealt with a Matthew. I wish I would have gotten his last name but I did not. Even though I could not make a deal with then today, Matthew was very helpful and polite in the offer Baxter gave. He tried to help find me something to trade for, but they currently didn't have what I was looking for.
I've always had a great experience at Baxter Ford and would definitely go back for future vehicle needs.
This is a story about a dealership taking advantage of my elderly grandma. My grandma purchased her dream car from this dealership, only she drives it and she only puts on about 4000 miles a year and insists on having it maintained at the Ford in Omaha she bought it from, which is an hour drive for any sort of maintenance.
This all started when the car needed a new strut? Or something like that. We scheduled the appointment over a month in advance under the pretense that the car would be dropped off first thing in the morning and completed before the end of the day. We made family plans to visit the Omaha Zoo and make it a day.
10 hours after dropping off the car we have head nothing from the mechanic at all, we call thinking it should be done and we should leave the zoo. Nope. They literally didn't touch it all day. They didn't have any rental cars either only SUVs, which my 70 year old grandmother has never drove before. So I had to drive her home, and she drove back to Omaha by herself 3 days later with great discomfort in an unfamiliar vehicle type.
Here's where it starts to snowball. The car was returned a short while later for some airbag recalls. My grandma tells me after getting home that her power seat up and down is broken, makes a horrible clicking noise. I called the dealer to set an appointment to replace the 1 gear for her seat. She gets there and they send her home again without fixing anything, because they need to order the part, a part they should have already had because they knew what they were fixing.
Unfortunately I can't attend with my grandma all the time, and when she went back the second time for the power seat it got really ugly.
They told my poor grandmother that the extended warranty she had bought for her car suddenly was expired and no good anymore.
They also told her that the entire seat, rails and all was necessary to replace, almost 2000$... 10% of the cars total value for a stripped gear in a power seat that other people have replaced themselves. A bold Faced Lie. Taking advantage of an elderly lady that dislikes confrontation... who was considering buying a newer Mustang with more advanced safety features in the near future.
Her trust with Ford has been eroded to the point she wants give up her dream car. I wish Ford would make it right. But the dealership at Baxter has been awful with it's customer service and maintenance. I'm of the opinion someone there deliberately abused her power seat up/down function. My grandmother's car is in pristine condition, absolutely nothing should be wrong. It seems there is always a new problem after they fix the one before. With the way my grandma treats her car, none of this should have been.
Most recently her Mustang returned with an extremely rough idle that shakes you from side to side like an old big block. It's a V6 that usually purrs like a kitten. So now the car is currently been fixed by the local mechanic and no longer a Ford dealership.
I wish Ford would step in and do something right when a dealership is abused a loyal customer...

He did an excellent job. Thank you. I would recommend him to any one that thinks they cannot afford to drive a new vehicle.

When negotiating I was told pick a crazy number I was willing to have as a monthly payment. I did and they offered a payment that was $2.00 more than I was willing to pay. We shook hands and it was a done deal!

No heads up I finally asked for a car, he didn't think there was any available. So my only day off this week was spent in the waiting room for 4 1/2 hours to fix 2 tires. Was very disappointed. I have been there before and have never been disappointed.

Went car shopping on Saturday, we stopped at a dealership called Internet Car Sales and looked at three different Ford Explorers (all three complete trash vehicles).
We drove over to Baxter Omaha West and immediately were greeted by Rodney Bates. We told him our price range and what we were looking for. He did he very best to find us a Ford Explorer but we saw a Jeep, test drove it and fell in love with the Jeep. Rodney Bates didn t come off pushy like some sales people can be. We shopped for our F150 over a period of several months and worked with several Ford dealerships in the area to find the truck we wanted at the best price. Ultimately it was the service Matt provided that solidified our decision to purchase from Baxter.

All the staff at Baxter Ford West Dodge are great! They were so welcoming when I first arrived. I wasn't swarmed like at other dealerships. I got the pleasure of working with Joe Luellman. He talked me through the whole buying process and was never pushy. He asked me what I was looking for and made sure I was content with everything. He honestly went above and beyond to help me purchase my brand new vehicle! I would definitely recommend Baxter and Joe to anyone and everyone! His manager was very easy going and great to work with! Car I bought was on a really good condition, it was a fair deal, but I having to wait forever to pick my car up, I am here at dealership waiting for to get the paperwork done holding the check and it's taking forever...
If I could give 0 stars, I would. But Google requires that I give 1 star. I missed the deadline for Ford's off of 0% interest on a new vehicle for 60 months by one day. I accepted that and was still looking at vehicles. But I said I wanted to wait until their next 0% promotion. Jon replied and said that they would just back-date all the paperwork so that I could still get the deal. I told him on the phone that I wasn't interested unless we could make that happen. He told me that they could 100% get me that deal. I was skeptical because I told another dealer what Baxter was doing and they said that is illegal and it was just a trick to get me to come in. Well, I gave them the benefit of the doubt even though I told them word for word "I just want the truth before I make the drive, since it is 45 minutes away". They promised. I show up, Jon stages a "phone call" with his manager saying they can't honor it. Then on top of that, the car we agreed a price on, they said they couldn't give that price anymore and jacked the price up another $1,200 on top of not getting 0% interest! Please do yourself a favor and don't go to Baxter Ford. Go somewhere that values their customers like Anderson Ford in Lincoln. I will never go back to Baxter and am embarrassed that I didn't listen to people telling me they were scum bags!!
The rep I worked with was very friendly. My biggest complaint is that the listing online for the truck was very inaccurate and dishonest. It listed optional features that the truck definitely didn't have: remote keyless entry (it has manual locks and windows), CD Player (it has a cassette), Aluminum Wheels (they are rusted steel with a plastic cover). They get around this with a disclaimer "Please confirm the accuracy of the included equipment by calling us prior to purchase." They dressed up the wheel wells with cheap plastic stick-ons (that have come off) to hide the rust.
