I believe there's a problem with begbugs in the complex everyday i see mattresses thrown away I paid almost $500 for them to treat first treatment was unsuccessful two weeks later second treatment unsuccessful I was to move 11-25-17 discovered bedbugs crawling inside the mattress cover and bed frame some dead most alive called office and was told next treatment will be on 11-28-17 so I suppose to take bedbugs to the next apt really I paid for nothing had to throw away the whole bed they did absolutely nothing for me I give no STARS

Run! Do not live at Sante Fe Ranch Apt in Irving! Our apartment building caught fire in mid December. We asked if we could have a different apartment or break our lease. We were promised by the manager that she would restore our apartment back to new. This is a lie. It took them until the end of January to do any type of restoration to our apartment. It wasn't "restored" by their standards until end of February. In the meantime we were still paying rent on an uninhabitable apt. Their idea of restoration consisted of light touch-up paint over water damaged walls, vacuuming out the gallons of water and letting the carpets air dry, only replacing the padding despite the water damaged and smoke damage to the carpet and redoing the exterior of the apartment. They did not check for mold damage to the walls or do a complete restoration to the apartment. We had no choice but to move back in because our renters insurance was exhausted. Now we are temporarily living in our apartment with everything still in boxes because the HVAC unit blows smoke smelling air. The apartment smells like scented smoke and mildew. Do not live in apt 1080!!! I have asthma all day being here and constant headaches. This corporation doesn't care about their tenants health and well-being. I wouldn't recommend living here to even my worst enemy.

I live in Windridge complex Dallas Texas they have been promised me to replace the carpet since 2014 Which they haven t done it yet, Which they make the carpet about 10 years old inside the apartment. each year, they promise that they are going to replace it, when I will renew the contract and they never do... Now I have a bedbugs coming out the carpet for more than 3 months, And I ve been complaining since.....
Don t trust management! I was looking to stay in one complex and management told me we re full but we have an opening 10min down the road . Thinking no big deal I waited a couple days went to sign the lease and came to find out the had opening at a cheaper rate at the original complex I was looking at. Now that I already signed the lease management told me it would be $200 transfer fee. SO SHADY! Go anywhere else! #WestDaleIsShawshank

Driven by a top-down, soul-less upper level management, the location managers must carry out the evil bait-and-switch schemes that rob tenants of their rightful services. This is a predatory business and should be investigated.
The ROACHES ROACHES ROACHES are everywhere! [Polaris & Sable Pointe] They sprayed, but the roaches love the spray. I woke up to 1 CRAAAAWWWWLING ON ME IN MY BEEEDD!!!!! I told the mgr. Carolina that the roaches got worse after they sprayed & that they were IN MY BED, she asked if I wanted them to spray again [blink]...she didn't seem to care. The roaches even infested my neighbor's truck.
So glad to be done with this place & their many ROACHES - The mgr. seemed impressed that I swept up the dead roaches when I left, smh.
I emailed corp. about my sec. dep. - NO help! They told me what the property mgr said (which is why I emailed corp.) westdale will not get any more of my $

I have personally lived under Westdale Management for about 7 months with NO PROBLEMS. I actually love the community I am in, great prices and GREAT monthly rental options.. I mean, who else does 1 month leases?! If you are ever in need that would be a more affordable option than a hotel. Also the staff at my office is SUPER sweet and I love the to death!! :) Monthly gathering, monthly newsletters, and community fun! they set up gathering every once and a while and it is nice!! Please experience for yourself before you decide not to lease with Westdale. I am someone who has had a great experience. :)
Camino Del Sol in Denton TX, does not take care of it's residence. Has no respect for the people who live here. There are so many empty apartments because the management is so unprofessional. The property lacks a porter. Because of that trash is delayed to be picked up and they want to raise the price of trash pick up. It took an extra two days to pick up trash after the Labor day. The dog poop stations are always lacking bags because the manager forgets to order them. I fear to report a maintance issue because of not having enough maintenance personal. Do your job Westdale.
Horrible management! After reading through their reviews I now see they have a pattern of recruiting/training/employing the most heartless, incompetent and property managers. As a single mother of 3 living in one of their low-income complexes, management continuously looks for every fine and fee they can throw at you and nothing can be done about it because you will be evicted if the charges are not paid within 3 days! Very unfair and heartless company.
Your management at Davenport Apartments in Dallas Tx sucks! Carmen is rude and is no help at all. Maintenance never comes when asked, you have to put up to 3 orders for them to come and when they do they don t fix it! I sent an email to corporate and received no reply and it has been MONTHS! Try your best not to rent in any of these properties!!! You ll get the shorter end of the stick!
There should be a class action lawsuit against this company specifically for staff and management of the Davenport Apartments. Tenants feel like they are paying to be screamed at by your staff and management. Chanda is th worst employee in that office.
Management clearly does not understand the LAW on late fees in TEXAS and corporate either does not know or care about being fined. They will, and continue to charge late fees AFTER you have have paid rent in full if you still owe late fees. Its known as "monetary hijacking" They simply do not deposit your rent until you pay late fees still owed, thus continuing to increase the amount owed daily with late fees. This is ILLEGAL. Late fees can only be charged on the outstanding balance of the RENT. You cant charge late fees on a balance of late fees. It would be like paying your credit card bill down to zero but the credit card company does not post your payment so they can continue collecting interest. Not only is this law just plain COMMON SENSE, it is clearly spelled out: "In the state of Texas, a landlord may impose the full amount of the daily late fee, not to exceed 5% of the total rent amount, until the rent has been paid in full. At such time as the rent has been paid in full, the tenant is still liable for the incurred late fees, however any additional daily late fees must cease.
I rented an "luxury apartment " in Buckhead from Westdale Asset Management dba Waterford Place Apartments. I had problems from day one. The kicker is I lost everything due to leaky pipes and toxic mold growing inside of the walls. The HAVAC System was very old and leaking. I lost all my clothes, shoes, papers, furniture etc. You name it.. I lost it. I walked out with the clothes on my back and I had to discard of them when I arrived at a family's house. I became ill when maintenance cut mold off of the wall exposing me too moisture and toxic mold. Westdale Management went a step further and refused to provide me with their lab results. I was forced to hire and pay a mold specialist to inspect and test air quality and molded clothes. The lab results were scary to say the least. Toxic mold with high spore counts is what the lab results concluded. The amount of disrespect and hardship that this company has caused me is unreal. I can't help but wonder if the other tenants in this building are living amongst this type of toxicity. To add insult to injury, Westdale Asset managed to file 2 evictions on me after I was offered the option to break lease with no penalties. I never was late on my rent. One eviction for the inhabitable unit I was living in and the other one was for the unit next door that they originally tried to force me to transfer into. That unit was dirty and unlivable too. I never transferred or lived in unit. Horrible Company!!!

Terrible management company. I have an AC unit that's been out for a week (in the middle of summer!) and all they give are empty promises to send a maintenance guy. Their washers/dryers have also been down for two weeks. This review is in direct reference to their Sherwood Forest property in Waco, but after seeing their reviews, it appears that they consistently fail to maintain any of their properties.
This company doesn't give a damn about their residents. I emailed them about multiple problems and they can't be bothered to respond or address any of my problems. Garbage.
I've called to the corporate office three times I've left messages for a return call because of a complaint with the rent office. Instead of her returning my call she refers me back to the rent office, how professional is that? Obviously tenants are not important so you don't speak to them about their concern. Working with the rent office is impossible because they are rude. I am not happy about how I have been treated on either end.
DO NOT TRUST- Westdale Management Company took over The Vue at Spring Creek Apartments in Colorado Springs and from there it went downhill. Horrible customer service. Prices are through the roof. Damn near $1,000 for a ONE BED ONE BATH 497 sq ft apartment. Not worth the trouble or your money! I lived at these apartments for 3 years, they changed management a couple times within that time and until Westdale took over the prices shot way up. Their staff never answer the phone, take their sweet time working with residents when the office is full without acknowledging the other residents that need assistance as well. ALL AROUND big thumbs down. Save yourself the time and MONEY, find someplace else.
Case building and its management have been the worst experience I've had living in an apartment for the past 10 years and I've only been here for 20 days. Management is so unprofessional. There is a constant party in the neighborhood and I can hear the music clearly in my apartment, even my windows shaking sometimes, for most of the weekend for hours each day including Sunday nights at 1 am. I asked them for a quiet place when I was looking to lease here and there was no mention of all these "community" events happening right outside my door and my apartment on top of the loud bars and a rooftop parties. Salace told me I'd be able to "enjoy the 4th of July fireworks from outside of my apartment and heart it only if I go to my balcony". Management admitted that I asked for a quiet place and after my complaints and many attempts to talk to a manager, their VP of no customer service, Glori Regan basically told me that there are going to be "many more events like Dalas Art Fair, not to that extent maybe", all the time here and that their building is never quiet. I call that wrongful practice and withholding information and false information from someone just so they can make a one-year contract sale. When I told her that I'm getting anxiety attacks from these events her first response was that I signed a contract with them! She told me she solely decides if she can get me out of my contract with no penalty, and it's her decision and she won't do it. That's another wrongful practice to give one person so much power and for her to just like that say she won't even consider waiving the termination fees. And her reasoning was that she doesn't want other tenants to request the same thing! That's a pretty selfish reason. And I asked her again if she can get me out of my lease (second time) with no penalty since transferring anywhere else in their building is not quiet according to her, or she rather have me here and pay while being miserable and she said yes she rather have me stay in contract miserable or break it at full cost to me. She then said a bunch of very wrong and poor educated statements about other things and then hung up the phone without even saying bye or anything. Anything that came out of her mouth was a lie or "you signed a contract with us". Their whole team has had a very rude attitude with me. These are on top of very poor wifi connection, no hot water in the bathroom, very complicated rent payment and more.
The Summit- Mesquite. Resident for 2 years. The on site management changes about every 6 months. The current batch only cares enough to get their job done. I'm certain the building I am in has a roach infestation. The lights in my kitchen area must be kept on at night, otherwise the roaches come out by the pound. Rent goes up $100 every year while the unit itself continues to fall apart.I discovered black mold under my sink and maintenance simply painted over it. Westdale doesn't seem to care and it's more than obvious. Look at the ratio of reviews, it's pitiful .Don't rent at The Summit, for sure, and certainly stay away from any Westdale Properties unless your are desperate. I am willing to bet this review will go unnoticed. Westdale management, why don't you turn this situation around?
Owners of DAVENPORT APARTMENTS:This is the WORST apartment complex to live. I lived here for 2 years and have had nothing but trouble since day one. The first year I stayed there I had a carport parking spot that was supposed to be billed monthly. I was not billed at all and when my lease was ending they tried to hit with the bill for the whole entire year. After disputing the matter with management they told me I didn't have to pay only because I renewed my lease. The 2nd year I was there I bought a new car and called the manager to find out what was needed to register my new car. I was then asked if I had temporary tags or permanent. I told them I had temporary tags and I was told that I had to park somewhere else until I get my regular tags. I told them that I would park on the street until I get that information. I still had my old car which was registered with this complex. That night, my old car was towed out of the blue. I had to fight tooth and nail to not have to pay for the car. The management company was terrible. I jut moved out and they found anything to nickel and dime me. Needless to say, they took my security deposit and I didn't get anything back. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!!!
Westdale has absolutely no concept of Dallas' identity, and is systematically destroying the character of every neighborhood in our once extraordinary town.
The management here cannot be trusted. They look only for their best interests and have no professional ethics. They are denying to refund a partial rent payment that they falsely collected from me. That's called stealing.
I have experienced unprecedented racism at this apartment complex, more than any other place I have ever lived. I have witnessed firsthand Caucasian people allowed use of the amenities that I was denied. I have watched them not enforce rules when it comes to Caucasian people allowing them to have their abandoned cars in the facility, which is against the lease and allowing them to park in the handicap parking spaces when they don't have a handicap tag. I have watched the leasing office not enforce the policy when it comes to picking up after your dogs when it comes to the Caucasian people here while they watch everything the black people do like a hawk. If you're black, they watch you come in and out of the apartment complex. They watch the guests you have in your home. If you're black they watch the number of people you have at the pool. If you're black they don't provide you any assistance when you try and use their computers and fax machines. If you're black and they have an issue with you, then they try and find reasons to evict you, even though your rent has never been late. If you're black they refuse to listen to any of your complaints, they ignore you at the leasing office and the corporate office. The utilities are high here, the staff is racist, the customer service is terrible and the groups are filled with dog feces. Not to mention the kitchen cabinets are cheap, the bathroom vanities have rust, the heat in my unit never properly works and the insulation in the apartment is terrible so you have to constantly keep the air running. Do yourself a favor and find a better apartment complex. There is nothing luxury about this complex. When I tried to call Westdale repeatedly to speak with them about my issues, they ignored me constantly and never returned my calls.
I have far too many details to get into. There are so many things wrong here compared to how much rent they charge. It really adds insult to injury when management talks like it's so great to live here. Just look at the reviews. They're ALL bad for a reason.
Horrible management of properties, with just about the worst personal I have ever seen. I livelin Mountain Ridge Apartments and I have asked the company manager what was their criteria of employing people, and she said " Our employees have green cards"..Rea Really?...lol..You must be kidding me right? What about customer service and a nice smile on their faces, and some training? Our apartment buildings are now managed by them and everything went down the drain. They even made the parking spaces paid, and they are not even covered. I have never seen a company charging for uncovered parking spaces in my life. Greedy..One star is a lot for them
***RENTER BEWARE***I can t even give this company a star....The Vue at Spring Creek in Colorado Springs is HORRIFIC! The management is unresponsive, lack compassion, don t know what hard work is and have zero understanding for residents ongoing frustration! West dale took over management in June and it has been nothing but bad news and shady management since they took over. In July, our Water Bill was $106.00 for a 1 bedroom, one person occupancy which at the same time last year it was $34 for the water. When we went into the office to find out why, Brandi informed us that it was because the pool was filled. The next month, August, our water bill was $100 and the excuse given was because the occupancy in our building was low so there were fewer people to split it with. Brandi told us that since people moved out, it is our responsibility to pay their water bills. I have requested water bills numerous times throughout every month and I have not been provided with a single utility bill showing the usage and proof of what we actually owe.
As a military member and as many of the residents that live in this complex are military, I feel that we are being taken advantage of by this Management Company. I will be contacting Fort Carson JAG to see what can be done regarding this property to see if they can be black listed. Anyone else military who would like to be involved in filing reports about this complex, should also be contacting JAG. For all residents who aren t military, I suggest contacting an attorney or local law enforcement to file a report in order to make future residents aware of the terrible management this complex has. I have given my notice and I am moving out because of the water bill increase, the terrible management and also the nasty state of the complex property.

Today, October 26, 2017: The apartment staff is EXTREMELY RUDE...she held up a picture of dog poop and tried to tell me that it was our dog s poop. There is dog poop all over our complex and it was literally a pile of dog poop with no dog or person standing in the picture. She attacked myself and my husband, screaming and cussing at me. This isn t how a resident should be treated and on top of that, told my husband he isn t welcomed in the office and that all communication needs to be email. He has emailed and gets no response. He is a resident and has every right to enter the office...if they don t want him in the office then they need to let him out of his lease.
I wasn't too sure about leaving a review but hopefully they realize that there needs to be some changes to the way they manage things. First of all, HUGE disappointment! They could care less about their residents and their needs. It took about 5 phone calls to Kerri( which she didnt have the decency to contact me herself) and 2 to their VP ( Cindy)before I got my question answered(which really wasn't answered). I'll be sure to shy away from any apartment complexes under Westdale Management. I could say more but they've already wasted a lot of my time. Thank you proving the other reviews right.
I lived at the Case building in Deep Ellum. The staff is great. Management is horrible. Including, and mainly, the Regional Manager, Glori Regan (this isn't the first time she is mentioned in the Google review section). I had an issue that could of easily been resolved but it ended with me paying $4200 to move out the Case building, after only 3 months of living there. I guess they didn't think i would pay to get out of my lease but you cant put a price on happiness (cost them $21,000 since I was moving out and that would of been the cost of the rest of the lease term). I even emailed the corporate executives (found email through their website) about the issue and I received no reply. Management, mainly Glori, treat their residents as if they could careless about the occupancy rate or if people are happy(probably why they moved from 2 to 3 months free rent). We are suppose to be their customers/clients, but no one seemed to care. No wonder why this company has a ONE STAR rating on Google and others. I waited 2.5 months to write this review because I was afraid they would charge me for any little thing for my move out... wouldn't put it pass them. A lot of their own staff complain about how management treats them. I, personally, know of some that have left because of the management. Beautiful property but Glori and her Cronies need to get off their high horse and remember they are in a customer atmosphere.
Never trust this management and avoid to rent the place with them. First they towed my own car for which they did not provide me with a sticker and then did not pay me the pending dues, due to the management change. Flew away with $400. -Austin, TX
Why is there no way to contact corporate? Westdale is only in business for the profit and it shows with the way they treat their tenets. We had a big fire in our parking garage and it took 3 weeks for them to start cleaning. Literally, there was scoot, glass everywhere, broken lights, and etc..for 3 full weeks. I have been without internet, due to them not working to replace burnt wires. I have had at&t already come out twice. I work from home and they do not even offer a rent concession or are attempting to replace ONE burnt wire.
This property management is a joke. I will avoid doing business with this company. They are only located in Dallas and they are unable to help with any situations going on in their property. They allow the leasing office personnel to go into your home without your knowledge and don't bother complaining just report them.
Update they're trying to scam me out of 1000 when I don't even have a valid contract with them. Hilarious enough when I try to call westdale it goes to an automated lady saying this number doesn't work anymore

Public display showcasing the talent of local artists that put their hard work and love into it? Paint it black! Also, paint it black a few days before the 4th of July just to really stir the pot. Rockcreek Apartment. I pay up front $350 for the bed bug treatment. I was told by Assistant Manager it will cover 6 week treatment spray 3 time , 2 weeks apart. End up only spray the apartment 2 time. When I notify the front office, by phone and walk in. Their respond was " I 'll get back to you later". A month gone by , these guy literature wait till the bed bug warranty expired , and then call me to schedule another bed bug treatment for extra $50. I guess it's time to file official complain to both U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and Better Business Bureau

The Park on Preston, who is under this company, is the WORST apartments I have ever come across ! I have had a leak in my living room ceiling since February 20, 2018. When the problem originally occurred I notified maintenance who advised they could not do nothing about it until the office opened the next morning. The next day I called the office who said they are aware of the issue and are working to get it resolved. MONTHS go by of me calling the office only to be told they are waiting on contractors. Here we are the last week of September and the issue has only gotten worse. Over the weekend I return home after being away for the past week to find the original bubble in my ceiling has now opened up and an additional hole has appeared and my patio, that I never go on, looks as if it is going to fall in at any moment. When the office was notified the next business day I asked to talk to the property manger because it was an emergency to only be told by the assistant manager that she was busy with other things to take my call and would call me back , I declined to speak to them any further and called the corporate office Westdale . I ve been calling every hour only to get a voicemail and told a call would be returned. An email was sent with photos and videos and I have NOT received anything back. After that email was sent to corporate the property manger advised Repairs to patio will be later this week, once exterior repairs are completed we will move on to interior repairs.... as of right now this is what we are aiming for, however due to weather and/or unforeseen circumstances this is subject to change. . Since, I ve told the property manger that I no longer feel safe at the property and asked if I could leave a month early with no penalties because of how long it s been and I m pretty sure at this point there is mold either under the carpet or in the ceiling only to be if I leave early there will be penalties. I feel this is unacceptable and dangerous!
I stay in Wexford Meadows apartments on university city blvd. There was a water leakage on 8/30/16 in my building that caused water to be everywhere in my bathroom floor including the neighbors in my building had flooding as well. I spoke with the rent office the next morning and she told me that the issue has been fixed and that they will not take anything off my rent as well as that type of issue is not included in my lease and that, that's the cost for staying in older apartments and that I have to clean the puddle of water up myself instead of someone coming to pump it out. This is a biohazard being that there was poop on the floor this is just disgusting and this not the way an apartment comple handles a situation like this so I will be reporting the issue to a higher authority and looking forward into breaking my lease. I refuse to have my leasing agent talk to me any kind of way and not go out of her way to make sure that my apartment is taken care of where me and my daughter lay our heads
This is for a review of their Camino del Sol apartments in Denton, TX.
There are so many things to be said about this apartment complex so I will just list them out.
-Parking is horrendous (after about 8 or 9pm good luck finding a spot). During a remodel of the parking lot, there were actually 0 spots after hours to park in. Management would not respond to the issue and said that there was nothing that could be done. If I m paying $800+ a month for a one bedroom, there should be parking (especially since it s guaranteed in the lease). Things could have been done to mitigate this temporarily (like closing visitor lots) but the office staff did nothing.
-Apartment renovations aren t really renovations at all, just paint over countertops to make it look like granite. A/C units and plumbing have not been updated. My A/C caught ON FIRE 3 times and they just continued fixing it. After the 3rd time I called the fire marshal to come out.
-Trash pickup is awful. They recently switched to a company that picks up trash from your front door 5x/week. People still leave their trash out because you can only have 2 bags out at a time (and you will get fined if you put out more). This has been attracting bugs and makes the apartments stink.
-Noisy neighbors. Do not rent a 1st or 2nd level apartment because you will never be able to sleep. Constant stomping. My neighbors have been fighting, arguing, and the complex refused to do anything about. I ve called the courtesy officer many times and was finally told to keep a log of it because the neighbors refuse to answer their door when police and the courtesy officer would respond. I work late and I don t have the time to deal with this.
-Office staff and turnover. I ve lived here 4 years and during that time the office has pretty much changed every year and it seems like they find the absolute worst staff. Paula and John are pretty nice but the leasing agents are just awful. They re rude if you have to pick up packages or disturb them. The last straw for me was when I called the office asking for a rental verification (I m breaking my lease early due to a job offer and had already gotten the specifics from Paula earlier). The leasing agent was extremely rude and stated I needed to give a 60 day notice despite the fact that I was told earlier that the early termination notice was 30 days. I explained this and the leasing agent realized her mistake. I tried to reason and explain that I can t give a notice until I find another place since I m moving to another state but she didn t care. She was just very rudely adamant that I come to the office and provide a notice (which is basically preventing me from getting an apartment). Plus, you are required to pay an early termination fee the DAY of your notice (not prior to move-out) which makes no sense and is also impeding my ability to give them notice on-demand.
There are so many other factors that have led me to hate this place but after the rental verification refusal, I honestly can t recommend this place to anyone. I ve been here 4 years, paid rent on-time, never had any issues with them for the most part, and this is how they act at the end of my stay? I was considering just keeping my lease here since I will be back and forth from Denton to my other job, but after this they can forget it. I ll just find an extended stay for the days I m in-town before I stay here.
This apartment complex went downhill after Westdale came in. Definitely stay away.
I can kick myself for not looking at these reviews prior to my dealings with these folks. The application process has been horrendous. No callbacks, asking for different information , not clear on what to expect, my date was one date but then changed and again no communication. I had movers set up and service etc. (it's not a breeze moving into a new place). The tour was great, but when it comes to delivering Westdale and The Hamilton are not meeting expectations. I would definitely not recommend the Hamilton or any property that Westdale manages. Good luck filling up that place :)
WOULD GIVE 0 IF POSSIBLE. This property management is the worst I ve ever experienced. Terrible customer service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO NEVER MOVE INTO WESTDALE PROPERTY.
I moved in 2 years ago and live on the first flor. My blinds do not close.... AT ALL. they have said they are getting a company to fix the blinds for 5 YEARS!!!! My privacy has been invaded by window clearers that we were NOT notified about.
I live at Mid Elm Lofts and I have been extremely disappointed in this so called "luxury" building. There are no parking options nor does management attempt to make an agreement with the multiple parking garages in the area leaving residents to fend for themselves and park blocks away. If you live here, guess what? You get to walk and haul your things multiple blocks in the middle of thunderstorms or freezing weather. They were very misleading when I signed a lease telling us that we needed to contact LAZ parking and pointing at the parking garage directly across the street . (They do not allow monthly parking for non-tenants across the street). So all residents are forced to park blocks away. They recently have allowed short term rentals from some awful company. Imagine paying 2k a month and having random methy people arriving with trashbags instead of suitcases and smoking everywhere. They throw loud parties and leave the building and rooftop trashed. There are absolutely no amenities. We were told the basement would have a gym put in "soon". Here we are a year later and we still have an empty shell in the basement. It has been an awful experience and all the actual residents agree. We are all leaving once our leases are up. What is the point of doing background checks on residents when you allow short term rentals to drug addicts? Yes, a random guy (I assume a short term rental) was smoking out of a METH pipe in the hall. Its a disgusting place to live. When downtown was looted, guess what? They walked right in and vandalized the lobby because our front door didn't lock and of course we have no security. I will never live at a Westdale property again. I have stopped complaining to management. It clearly gets us no where.
The Players Club (aka the Stealer s Club) run under Westdale is the WORST. DO NOT RENT with them! They saw my brothers dog on my balcony and minutes later there was a letter on my door with dog treats stating that s they had charged me $350 for a pet fee. After calling the office and speaking to the property manager, Judy Moore, she stated whether or not I keep the dog I still have to pay the fee. This was AFTER I advised her that the dog is NOT mine. Who in their right mind would charge or even pay$350 for something that isn t theirs to begin with? She had no regard for me or what I was telling her. I ve been renting with them for over a year and have had numerous issues in my apartment that have not even been address.. but look how quickly they address something that they know NOTHING about. Based off the previous reviews (with the most recent being 2 weeks ago) you can see exactly how this company likes to steal from you. This is NOT the proper way to treat your tenants! I am contacting corporate, an attorney and the BBB!
Now it turns out that they do not rent to people who do not have legal documents of use there are many but many people that you know that they only have a passport and so they have rented them and now they leave with that
Crooks. They charge a deposit to apply for an apartment but if you re not approved they do not refund the deposit. How is that legal? I understand the application fee and even the admin fee but how is the deposit non-refundable if you don t lease from them.
There is no surprise to this horrible rating. The apartment complex that we live in changed companies to this company. It s the weekend and there is no hot water in our unit. I called the after hours number to request service and it s disconnected. Thank you for calling, goodbye. I sure hope and pray my a/c doesn t stop working because who am I going to call!? There has been a lot of residents moving out since this company became the new management. My advice is please if you can don t do business with this company and find another safer option for your family.
This is the worst management company ever. I m a resident here my car is in the shop for repair I call my leasing office to get a parking pass they only want to give me a pass for 2days and my car is in the shop for weeks due to repairs. I called Kelly at Westdale the worse customer service I have ever dealt with she s yelling at me tells me I have to park my car on the street I advise IM A TENANT NOT A VISTOR...she tells me Well do you want the pass or not because I don t have to give it to you Yells again DO NOT INTERUPT ME...I have had it wit this management company no concern for their tenants and will disrespect you when you are trying to resolve an issue BEWARE BEFORE YOU LEASE UNDER THIS MANAGEMENT PROPERTY...January will not get here fast enough so I can move
Absolutely one of the worst companies I've ever seen. I reside in an apartment owned by Westdale. Had number pipe leaks/flooding. And it takes A MONTH to schedule a repair? That is a joke. Yes, I had to live a month with a gaping hole in my ceiling and wall. All of my furniture bunched into the center of my apartment. Tried numerous times to reach out only to be ignored. How has this company not been shut down is beyond me. I want my rent back for months I couldn't utilize my full apartment. And what's with the rent going up with a unit that is just constantly deteriorating?? Now my fireplace is leaking into my carpet. Will it take 2 months to fix that?
I have black mold growing under my sink, in my bathroom, it s all over the door, walls, ceiling, vent and my kitchen window seal. I was told by my apartment complex We can t do anything and just shower with the door open we have gotten sick more then usual and now my 6 year old dog that has never been sick is back from the vet after having Ivs of antibiotics. Unbelievable I called again today and was told they were going to send someone over here and it s 7 and nobody s showed up. I m over it.
Horrible management at one of the recently acquired properties. Leaking bathroom ceiling for 2 months. I've placed two work orders in but no one has even stepped foot into the apartment. Water continues to soak my bathroom floor daily, let alone the mold that is growing in the ceiling because if it.
They quit taking section 8 without notification.the landlord didn't have the courtesy to tell us they was no longer taking section 8..the housing authority was the ones that called and said we have to move because the apartment company was no longer taking section 8. a week before Christmas of 2016.
Check your reviews for Lake Colony in Garland, TX. The bad ones are true. Illegally took my ex off the lease and kept me in the dark about so many things. On The Lake and LakePoint mgmt is subpar to put it kindly. I have a good case per my lawyer so don t try to ruin my credit or rental history bc you WILL lose. Absolute anarchy at Lake Colony. What a JOKE!
Un- American Company who makes its fortune on the backs of working class Americans. They made the decision to paint over a mural of American Troops in front of Our US Flag just prior to the 4th of July, to add insult to injury they used Black paint. By the way there was absolutely no reason to paint over this mural it was not a eye sore nor was it in a need of replacement. In fact it was very patriotic . The BBB rated them as a D- company to do business with ......Please join me in boycotting this business. God Bless America and our Troops. The actions of this business is sickening.
An absolutely horrible management company. Stay far away. They also like to paint over murals by local Dallas artists because it doesn't fit their "vision" for what Deep Ellum should be. Would give no stars if I could.
The properties owned by this company is very poorly managed especially Lakeridge Apartments in Irving, Texas. I wouldn't advise anyone to rent any property leased by them. The apartments are so outdated and overpriced. The people hired by this company to manage their property are incompetent and rude. Building 1728 in lakeridge apartments is infested with mice. Nothing is being done to combat the problem. The office staff are so rude and get even more annoyed if you ask questions about an issue. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
This company participate in unethical business practices. The staff at Deep Ellum Lofts were helpful to the scope of their job; however, beyond that the company confiscate fees without explanation. I have yet to receive my administrative fees from an leasing application I declined due to misrepresentation of the unit. I have called for over a month with no resolve. Then finally I am told, you have associated fees that wasn t paid so you will not get the fees back - with no explanation of those said fees. I ve asked for a transcript of my account to do a check and balance , and they have not responded.
I wish I could give them no stars, this company does not care about the community nor do the care how they affect the community. I'm in disbelief that a company could operate with such a lack of morals and values! Avoid doin Bussiness with them at all cost!
TOKD STAFF AT HOLLOWS THAT I WOULD BE PAING RENT A DAY LATE AND WOULDN'T MIND PAYING LATE FEES NOTE POST FOR THE 4TH GIVEN TO ME ON THE FIFTH SAY I HAVE 72 HOURS TO VACATE. POOR COMUNICATION WITH STAFF AND MANAGMENT NOT HAPPY WITH THE HOLLOWS
These people took over the apt complex we live in (The View at spring Creek) Co Spgs. We have lived here for 5 years and loved it, no problems at all, then westdale took over, immediately fired everyone, brought over there own people. Our 1st mos rental bill with them had double my rent & fees that we're unfounded, I paid my rent, parking wtr etc:, the 2nd mo bill from them also had x-tra charges, 3X's the wtr bill, when I went to the leasing office there were a line of tenants with the same prob. We were told "yes your wtr bill is wrong, it will be corrected" she took off the $150.00 x-tra fee for nothing, did not correct the wtr bill so I paid everything but the wtr waiting for the correct amount so I wasn't going to over pay. My husband received an email stating our rent pmt was NSF - this was 31 days after we paid rent for July, our bank has never received our check from them and there was plenty of $ to cover rent, then they say the same thing with Aug rent, again they never put our pmt through our bank and again there was plenty of $ to cover our rent ck. When this was brought to the attention of the leasing office re: the wtr amount and unacceptable NSF fees we were told that corporate has a way of looking into our checking acct to see how much money we have before depositing our ck, if they feel there is not enough $ in our act they just stamp it NSF and charge us fees we don't deserve. We got a letter from our bank stating there is no reason why our pmt should have been NSF and our rent should reflect proper pmt and any fees should be reversed, not to mention what they say they can do in illegal. Corporate then said the letter from our bank wasn't good enough they want to see our banking stantments, again an invasion of privacy and completely unethical. So we were given a print out for July and August rent and chrges. Their printout still shows over charge for rent, and the wtr shows $145.56 on their printout, $117.68 on the res portal and $131.35 on our rent stmt, still this has not been corrected, we were told the wtr is so high is because there were broken sprinkler heads and water was gushing for days before they realized it and a tenant should have brought it to there attention sooner, on top of that they decided to empty the pool and refill it so all of that xtra cost is the responsibility of the Tennant's and we should expect it to be 3X's the average for the next couple months. I asked for my ck they say was NSF and nobody seems to know where it is all they have is a copy and nowhere on the copy does it show it ever hit our cking acct. 50 tenants moved out as soon as these people took over, now I know why, shady stuff is going on like offering my neighbor to choose any open apt, any floor, w/no charge was/dryer and at a discounted rental rate because they want his apt for ?whatever, I do not feel safe here anymore on the premeses or in my apt. I am currently looking for a GOOD attorney to handle this for us, we will be leaving very soon, it is unfortunate we have lived here for 5 years, been through 3 different owners and we had no worries no issues, these people have been here 2 mos and everyone is angry, upset and extremely frustrated, I know most of my neighbors and we all agree this place is going down hill extremely fast.
