Something nice that depicts a patriotic scene of American troops? Paint it black! Painted art that embellishes that uniqueness of Deep Ellum? Paint it black! Public display showcasing the talent of local artists that put their hard work and love into it? Paint it black! Also, paint it black a few days before the 4th of July just to really stir the pot. Thanks a lot WAM and I'm sure whoever was the brainchild of this project has a heart as black as that wall too.
