I have been a tenant with Vanet since Feb 2016 and have been impressed on how professional they are. Andreia who is my property manager has been very helpful since day 1 (check-in) and in the 2 occasions where we had an issue with the property Andreia has addressed these quickly and professionally. She is polite and friendly and will seek to explain the situation and come up with solutions. Thank you Andreia!

Slow to respond during rental period, even worse u...

Slow to respond during rental period, even worse upon moving out. Essentially dealing with ghosts.

Avoid. Took every opportunity to dive into the deposit they possibly could - a slightly dusty surface - to charging to fit one light bulb which was left in the flat.

Took weeks to return deposit and they couldn't even do that right initially paying less than agreed. Asked for a reference upon moving and totally blanked.

Unreal, unprofessional and scummy.

This agency provided a great service when I was choosing an apartment. They even made me a favor and moved the start date for almost a week: I really appreciated this gesture. It's 4 out 5 because after I signed the papers their service deteriorated a little. Well, it's a common thing, nothing unusual here. Still very good experience overall.

Helped me in the process of securing a new flat. I had to travel to their office for some of the process which wasn't ideal, but Vanet have been quick in making sure I've had everything I need and sorting repairs for me.

My first review can be seen below. However having lived in a property managed by Vanet for 2 years, i'd like to offer advice of proceed with caution. They are great when they want money from you and to get you in, but when you need anything your concerns fall on deaf ears, consistently met with out office messages, various ignored calls and emails. When we finally would get a response it would be very prolonged before getting a resolution.

Then when moving out we went through a whole ordeal where we ended up with far less of our deposit returned than we felt was acceptable, but the process was so drawn out that we finally gave in. This was also dealt with in a fairly disappointing manner in which we were given less than 1 hour to respond to demands, as well as leaving things to the final day of notice so that we had very little time to respond.

Horrible experience. They are all so accommodating...

Horrible experience. They are all so accommodating in the beginning, but towards the middle -end of tenancy the service starts to go downhill. It was nearly impossible to reach any of their agents regarding a longstanding issue we had with the gas meter- and not letting us know beforehand that the electricity was set to a business plan and that this would require a request to transition to a domestic account- which even the british gas customer team was confused as to why our own agency did not let us know ahead of time - several phone calls and emails with no reply. And no email sent to us to even let us know who to contact after our agent was no longer working there.



And to top it all off, London is one of the most diverse cities in the world, and agencies especially should know that there would be international customers where english would not be their first language. One of my other colleagues who shared the flat with me was discriminated by one of the team members, asking frustratedly if she could get someone on the phone who could speak 'better english'. This is not acceptable. All in all, this company is very unprofessional and I would highly advise to not use their services.

While the lettings team were great initially (particular thanks to Kayla) we have unfortunately had a poor experience with Vanet since we moved in, mostly in terms of lack of communication and responsiveness. For 3 weeks we were not able to access the back garden as they had lost the keys. We had no property manager assigned during this time, however now that we do things are slower than ever! Maria hasn t replied to a single email and when we prompt with a phone call she doesn t seem to have chased up any of our queries about outstanding maintenance work - one item of which was in our terms of offer, so they are technically in breach of contract....

Stay away from this company. They are holding my d...

Stay away from this company. They are holding my deposit and have never made any claim to it. On the contrary, check-out process was approved by them. They are even ignoring responding to my deposit dispute. If you want to spend your time talking to walls and looking for your money, this is the place for you.

I think this is one of the only reviews I have ever written for anything but it is so annoying and unprofessional. Hopefully, this will prevent the same from happening to others.

I would like to share my amazing experience with Vanet. They were great and easy to deal with. From the viewing with Kayla to the whole moving in process with Nancy, and then finally collecting keys to our brand new property which was prepared in time for us to move in!
I really cannot thank the team enough at Vanet for all of their help.

Had a pleasant experience when looking for a place with Chelsea, who saw us on short notice and got us access to areas in the development that wasn't yet open to the public. The flat we found has had no issues since we moved in, and we hope the process at the end of our tenancy will be as easy as it was at the start.

As with so many of the 1 star reviews on here, it is the lack of care once you become a tenant and especially when it come time to vacate that is the glaring down fall of Vanet in its customer service.
Lack of organisation and social loafing must be the order of the day in the property management department.
We did note in the 4 years we were contracted, that there was a high turn over of staff, and can only assume that people enjoy working for Vanet as little as we enjoyed interacting with them as tenants.
Potential tenants, keep yourself a robust paper and electronic mail trail of everything in a safe place!
Be ABSOLUTELY THOROUGH!
And for pity's sake, take photographic evidence of the moment you hand back your keys!

The letting agent I met was very nice, friendly and helpful. The admin staff who sorts out the contract is very helpful too. I thought I found a good agent but the moment I walk into my flat I was shocked. I put it down as a condition that the flat needs to be professional cleaned prior to my move in. The flat clearly hasn't been professional cleaned. The toilet seat is dirty and floor is so dusty. I had to spend hours cleaning the flat. Even the inventory report says the flat requires final cleaning so I do not understand how could they give the flat in such condition to me!

This agency is very unprofessional - I don't recommend working with them. I made an appointment to see one flat. The appointment was set - and then changed to the following day. I travelled all the way to the property (45 minutes). The agent arrived 10 minutes late to the viewing only to say she didn't have keys to show the flat - but tried to get me to see another flat instead. Very unprofessional - do not recommend.

I am a new tenant with Vanet from August 2016, and already I have been very impressed with Vanet, in particular Razvan one of their property managers.

Razvan was very supportive throughout the contract signing process providing clear guidance and responding prompting and clearly. After moving in Razvan has also always been easy to get hold of and has very quickly organised minor repairs when a washing machine broke.

Similarly to all other reviews. The agency is great, but the moment you move in - the problem begins. You csimply cannot fix anything in a reasonable time. Property managers are not responding to your queries, i have been waiting few weeks, chasing every few days and nothing. Not to mention that property was not cleaned when we moved in and some issues raised where not solved. In return, when i raised points with the property manager, in return i received an information that this is the buy to let property and owner does not want to invest or put any money in it..very poor service. To compare, my previous agency - after each call, within a week there was a guy to fix the issue. Here, it is not possible.

I recently had the pleasure of renting an apartment through Vanet and they have restored my faith in lettings agencies. After bumbling from bad experience to bad experience i was starting to believe that customer service was a forgotten art where property was concerned. Not with these guys, really friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. They explained the process every step of the way, kept me informed and the aftercare was second to none. David, Nancy & Chelsea were particularly impressive. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

As addition after moving out checkout report was done in such incompetent way that not only things that were damaged before are listed as if they were damaged during tenancy also things that are in the property and even are on the photos are also marked as missing.

Completely incompetent estate agents! We were first handed over an apartment that had not even been properly cleaned, had moldy curtains, broken kitchen appliances and NO HOT WATER! It took 2-3 weeks of arguments to get these issue addressed, making moving in an absolute nightmare. Since then we have had no property management support and only a bunch of lies peddled by the so called "property managers" at the Canary Wharf branch. This has been nothing short of a nightmare experience. Can't speak for other branches but the Canary Wharf team has made our life hell and continue to do so. Best to avoid.

We ve just moved in to a flat in the Royal Docks area. The flat is lovely, and despite having found a few small flaws the landlord is very cooperative and most of the issues have been repaired in the first few days of the tenancy. Special thanks to agent Egle, who spent a massive amount of time on calls, and exchanging messages with us, and promptly suggested similar flats when the first two became unavailable due to having been let by other estate agencies. All this just for the check-in fee that also included the professional cleaning.

Best letting agent I have ever used (I am a tenant). Responded quickly to issues, communication was good. Whole process from finding the flat, living in it to leaving was very good and professional. They were very fair when we came to leave and understanding of wear and tear and what was done by previous tenants. Would definitely recommend for finding a place to rent in East London.

Inquired about a property via email and was contacted shortly after to book a viewing. The agent called me an hour before my nominated time to inform me that the key for the apartment wasn't working, which was suspecious as I was informed on the same call that there were a number of viewings earlier that day. I was told that once the agent is able to get a set of replacement keys, she will contact me for another viewing. I never heard from this agent again and the property was removed from the website the very next day. The reason for my 1 start review is the lack of communication by the agent. If the property had been leased prior to my viewing, the agent should just be honest about that fact rather than saying that they will recontact me shortly.

Decided to check out reviews of Vanet before proceeding with viewings as the Lettings team consistently surprised me with their incompetence and rudeness throughout the viewings booking process.

Agents struggle to understand native English speakers, enjoy starting debates about whose phone line is responsible for disturbance during phone calls, are over 48 hours late in sending booking confirmations (and don t bother making apologies), are prone to lecture prospective tenants on how sometimes emails don t deliver when they are called out for not sending email confirmations, blatantly ignore customer preferences regarding viewings, and are very dismissive of customer feedback.

After reading their reviews online, I see this is consistent with how they ve interacted with other prospective clients.

I feel bad for landlords renting through Vanet - even if I was really keen on a property I wouldn t ever subject myself to going through Vanet again.

Vanet is good at resource and management of property around canary wharf area. They are professional and not hard pushing during the whole process. Romualdas is a nice and responsible consultant. It was a pleasant experience to cooperate with him.

They were very keen when they want to sell/rent to you but once you rented from them, the service is far below standard.

The first property manager - she NEVER replies my e-mails and I have to chase her on every single issue. When she replies, she'd pick the date that you said in the e-mails that you are unavailable.

They never give people notice, they'd e-mail you at 16/17 in the afternoon asking to access the property tomorrow morning which I feel shows an extreme lack of consideration.

I don't usually write reviews but my experience with Vanet has caused me so much distress that I just HAD to share this!!!!!!!



Since the day I moved in they made the lousiest effort to arrange a contractor to come fix the damages in my property. It's now been almost 3 months and my fridge was only fixed 2 weeks ago (food was going rotten) and there are still wires hanging in my bathroom and no toilet seat!

On top of that, my Property Manager rarely replies to any of my emails which I have to chase up 2/3 times. She doesn't even address 80% of the concerns I raise when she does respond, and she makes simple errors when booking appointments. I've lost almost 2 whole days of work just to be at home so a contractor can come to fix these things, only to find she gave me the wrong date for the appointment!!!!! She doesn't even apologize for her mistakes and makes me feel as though it was my fault and not hers!!!

I've even forwarded an email chain with concerns to the Head of Vanet and they didn't even respond.. AT ALL. So there's my last bit of hope gone out the window. And god knows if this review even means anything to them.
