Normally you anticipate spending half of your Saturday in any dealership when trying to purchase a car. At Simi Valley Toyota, we were in and out in only a couple of hours to include all of my attempts at haggling and negotiating. Superb. Great guys and ladies who knew their stuff and delivered.
I should have known better! For all of those who rated this dealer one star, I totally feel their frustration. Now a days, dealers keep using their old tricks, nothing has changed. I purchased a used Honda (big mistake, I regret not going to a Honda dealer) the sales agent- Nathan- stated the car had being inspected and was ready to go. Well, not so. I drove it on a 3 hour trip and the tire pressure light came on in the middle of heavy traffic. Then this evening in Los Angeles, Staples Center area, the car completely died on me! Battery issues? I will find out tomorrow! I gave the dealer a 7,000 down payment and 1,000 trade in for a car that it was supposed to be reliable, and to my surprise it was not. I am upset at the fact that things like this keep happening, what happen to integrity and ethics? Why sale a car that is not reliable? Not to mention, the buying experience left me feeling disillusioned. Nathan was very aggressive, he is a sneaky sales man who looks after himself - making commission- and completely disregards clients. Once he took possession of my car key, he did not leave my sight. When I said I wanted to go eat, he said "I'll go with you" when I said "Let me go home and think the numbers over" he aggressively said "what is the problem, what is wrong, is there a problem" he yelled at me a number of times, he literally corner me and took possession of my car key. I regret not being strong, I should have stood up to him and demand my car key and leave. Be careful if you happen to stop here, if you do, you may not be able to walk away. Keep away from Nathan, he is a tall, bald, lean, aggressive, and jittery man, He is not honest and he only cares about his commission and not the customers. I should have gone with my gut and not let myself be influenced to make a purchase the same day. Of course, they won't take responsibility for the car failing on me. Do research, and do not let dealership unethical sales people convince you to buy when you do not want to.
Michael Harry is amazing!!! I needed work done on my car for several different things. Some mechanical work and some body work. I can t be without my car at work due to the fact that I must drive my car through out my day. Michael was so understanding and helpful. He arranged for ordering the needed parts and having them painted ahead of time so that everything would be ready when I brought my car in. He arranged with me to bring my car in very early on Saturday and they worked on my car all day to get completed in one day. The price was very reasonable and not only was it done in one day but they did a beautiful job!!!! I could not be happier! Thank you Michael Harry and Toyota Simi DCH!!!!! You guys are the best!!!!
From my first frantic phone call early in the morning with Juan Vallina I could tell that I was going to have a good experience at DCH SimiValley. He listened to what I had to say and asked me questions and brought up issues that I hadn't thought about. I felt like he was interested in my needs and sincerely wanted to make sure that I was comfortable with all the information and the process. When I arrived at the dealership Juan hooked me up with Garrett, an awesome Sales Associate. Garrett was easy to talk to and very attentive to my needs. Gus Herrera made the financing portion smooth and easy and was very flexible with my situation. The guys at DCH SimiValley showed me all the information I needed to make my decision. They listened to me and made me feel comfortable about the whole process. I was under a time constraint and they made sure that everything was taking care of and that I made it to my appointment on time. Great experience overall, never an awkward/uncomfortable moment, they made the car buying process easy and less intimidating.

Gus is by far the best sales person we have ever dealt with. He is very friendly and not pushy at all. He is sincerely there to get the car and price you want. This was the second time I have had dealings with him and the third time with the dealership. I would give Gus 12 Stars out of a 10 star rating. He is simply a real nice person.
Ron was the finance person we worked with. He also is very friendly and accamodating. He is very thorough and easy to understand. He also went out of his way in helping us get refunds we had coming from unused extended care and gap agreements. We were trading in 2 cars and buying 1.
Gus and Ron made the entire experience a joy rather than a long, stressful, and tiring experience. These two help make DCH Toyota of Simi Valley a terrific dealership.

This was the first time coming to Simi Valley Toyota to service my Sienna. Angel in service and the parts department gave me a very fair price and were very professional. There was a minor issue with repair, but Angel fixed the issue immediately. I definitely recommend this dealership after previously going to Northridge Toyota.

Be prepared, though, when you finally close the deal, the finance dept. will try to upsell you on a BUNCH of stuff. Do your research and know what you need/want before you go in. Also, fair warning, even though we paid cash, it took almost 2 hours worth of finance paperwork to get the deal done. Read the fine print and don't be afraid to ask lots of questions about what is it they're wanting to charge you for. Don't be afraid to say "No, thank you!"

Please don't go here, they will cheat you very easily without doing anything what they promised or charged you.. i had very bitter experience with my last service with them. The reason are here, I requested for Tire rotation which is part of regular service maintenance and later i came to know that was not happened.
As a owner of my vehicle since last 8 months, i know how much pressure each tire had before leave it for service and ultimately i checked that same after the service completed on curiosity.
I was really unhappy to know that nothing got changed , but i was told tire rotation completed . When i went back to for inquiry, i was never allowed to escalate to his(who served me service) manager, i was stopped by one of his colleague and i can say not stopped by but approached by.
Again unhappy totally the way his colleague treated me instead of escalating this to his manager, he called the guy who served me directly and asked him to address me the issue.
the biggest thing i was totally i unlike the way he(who served me) was addressing. few things i wanted to tell in points.
1. He lied that he did tire rotation and ,He totally blamed my car display system that, its giving me wrong calculation and asking me to change that.
2. He told me incorrectly about my tire pressure coordination which was showing in my car display. I showed him that tire pressure screen of my car display and proved him that he was wrong in his points about the tire co ordination and explain which one refers which tire. i don't know how this guy giving me information about my car without proper knowledge.
i was totally disgrace with the service offered and the way i was treated. I am not going to suggest DCH Toyota of Simi Valley to anyone.

I went to other toyota dealers and all tried to stiff me with highest finance rates and tried to make up the discounted price with hidden charges. A friend recommended I d go to Simi Valley toyota and met Austin Cosby, I didn t feel he had that desperate need to stiff me with anything and worked to get me the absolute best price on the truck I felt was out of my price range. Long story short and little back and forth negotiating, I got the nicest truck there at a price that wowed me and finance rate well below the other guys!

Brought car in for basic schedule maintenance 10k service oil change and tire rotation. But to my surprise, they spill oil during service on the bumper and all over the engine compartment and didn't even bother to wipe it clean.. they did not adjusted basic fluids like windshield washer.. I guess since the service was free (paid by Toyota for to set 25k) you don't get any of these extra services.. definetly not coming back to them. Plenty other Toyota Dealers..

My husband and I came in to the Simi Valley to convert the end of our lease into a purchase.
Sonny and his team listed our options clearly.
We had questions about service contracts and GAP insurance. All of our questions were promptly answered.
In addition to lease buyout options, he did ask if we were interested in leasing a new car. The new Camry was sooo tempting, but when we said, We will stick to our original plan and buy our leased car, there was no hard selling at all.
The entire experience was simple. And while we finalized the end of lease paperwork, they serviced our car (included in current lease contract and no extra charge for minor adjustments) to make sure we left with everything in working order. They would have done it another day regardless, but it was convenient for us, since we were there anyway...and much appreciated.
This is more for Toyota than for the dealer itself. My Mother has bought 2 toyota prius' both main batteries died. 1st one died it was a 2008 and the car was very difficult to control, thank God we weren't on a mountain because we'd be dead. Thankfully it was under warranty and they replaced the battery. 2nd one was not under warranty when it died and it was a 2013 and was bought used. It died within 3 years and she had to pay to have the engine replaced. IT HAD THE SAME PROBLEM! Toyota Prius is not a reliable car I will never buy one again. They aren't even trying to fix known issues.

I was "HELPED" by a couple of DCH Toyota's Simi Valley finest today! AMANDA and PATTY. By far the worst experience I have has at any service center. I made an appointment for 12pm and told Patty over the phone that I had a competitors couple. She said that they would allow it. So, I arrived at the appointment time and AMANDA told me the stopped taking coupons. When I informed Amanda that I called and got approval for the coupon by PATTY she said that there is nothing she can do. I was there and in order to salvage the rest of the day I reluctantly agreed to their higher price. After three hours to do simple oil change I got my car and drove off. Then I noticed my car was leaking oil. I took it back and waited another 2 hours for the problem. They said the oil pan nut was not put on correctly and they wanted $300 to change it out! I had to fight tooth and nail for them to fix the problem they created.

I received a letter about a recall on a vehicle I own. I called them and made an appointment to get it fixed. They had the info on the car because it was there previously. I got there, and checked in, and the nice man behind the counter told me that my vehicle was not able to take advantage of the recall. I can understand that, but why didn't they tell me this before I drove down there with another person following me (ride back)? They wasted 1.5 hours of my time.
When I bought my car from this car dealer I had to bring it back to have a tracking devise put on it took them exactlyb20 minutes to do so , however the devise quit working so I made an appointment to have it removed I figured it only took 20 minutes to put it in so 20 to take it out so far I have been waiting 3 hours for them to finish my car the service tech mark is very unfriendly every time I ask about the car he puts me off like I don't matter . I explained to him that I have a doctor's appointment in half an hour he said he would get to me when he has time . I will never do business here again
Biggest liars. I emailed a quota I received from another Toyota dealer and was told by DCH that they would match it exactly. Once I get there after wasting a whole evening they told me that they will not match the same price. First they tell me they would match it to get me to drive all the way to their dealer, and once I am there they said they won't. I will make sure none of my friends or family buy cars from DCH of Simi Valley. And worse of all they had already ran my credit. Unfortunately you can't sue for being lied to, otherwise I would have. I am very dissapointed.
DCH Toyota of Simi Valley has to be the best dealer experience I have ever had! I truly am one that hates having to go through the car buying process but this was different! Brian, Kelly, and Amanda were excellent at their jobs and provided me the best price and service hands down They were nice, upfront, honest, and didn't play any games that you get from other dealers.

Spoke with (or at least attempted to) Juan Sanchez about purchasing a 2020 Tacoma. Was unable to get any of the info I requested. This guy will ignore your questions, send you quotes for vehicles that don't match your criteria instead of the vehicle you're actually interested in, and to top it off he can't seem to send an email or text without some kind of spelling, grammar, or punctuation error. Ended up purchasing elsewhere.

Honestly best Toyota dealer out there. I normally went to a different Toyota and wasn t satisfied with 1. How I was treated and 2. The trade in lease I was doing. My boyfriend lives out in simi and as we were passing by we decided to stop by simi Toyota and check out the Tacoma s. Immediately we got greated by Gaven Lenway. He was so nice and helpful with alll my new truck questions. He 1. met the needs I wanted with my lease and 2. Was treated with outstanding service; not only by him but by the simi team in general. Simi Toyota is out of my home way but i know I will be going back there for all my car needs. I will also be recommending it to my friends and family. Very easy service appointment. They said 1.5 hours and they were spot on. Loved the coffee but suggest that you offer more magazines geared to women. I got bored with the Sports Illustrated that were there.
We brought our car in for a recall. The service people were kind and helpful. I was taken home in the courtesy van and the gentleman who drove was interesting. I was impressed.

My experience with financing my first car here was absolutely wonderful! Starting with the sales process, my sales consultant Lacey Rowe made me feel comfortable by showing me multiple options based on what I was looking for and I did not feel pressured or rushed to make a decision. The rest of the staff was equally helpful and approachable. In particular the floor manager Joshua Vafee actually let me negotiate the price down and was flexible with me with regards to my needs (lowering my monthly payment for the car I wanted to buy) and gave me a good deal. The finance manager Seth Hidalgo not only explained every portion of every document I was signing, but also had a great sense of humor and additionally got me a better deal for my extended warranty due to my communicated needs (I am an Uber Driver and he put more maximum miles on my extended service warranty without additional charge to give me extra peace of mind). I have had sales experience before from the sales side of things and I have also experienced and heard of many horror stories from OTHER car dealerships of shady behavior, but here at DCH Toyota of Simi Valley I honestly experienced the best sales experience I have ever witnessed the whole way through. Even when they goofed and made an error when submitting for the loan to the bank, they accepted responsibility for their honest mistake and knocked my price down even further. They each offered a ton of advice from their own experiences personally and as a result of this thoroughly awesome experience I decided to write this review and mention them by name. Thanks DCH team for giving me such a professional and accomodating experience. I hope others will be able to get the same quality of service as I did, and I highly recommend buying or financing a car here based on my own personal experience here.
Took my 2017 Sienna for its 15,000 mile check, and asked them to look at rear door and sliding doors as they creek and struggle like they are gunked up and need to be lubed, as well as seat track caps coming loose. Service staff were friendly enough, and service was completed quickly. I was told that they didn t lube the doors because they didn t find a problem. I guess my word isn t enough to get service. I was told that the track caps were fixed, but when the van was returned they were not. The attendent noticed right away, and said he would take it back right away, he ended up fixing it himself. The service rep did apologize though it makes me question if they did anything at all.
I always have fond experiences here. The employees are personable and professional. The coffee and latte machine is pretty great too.

COSTCO member and considering Toyota DCH of Simi Valley with COSTCO Auto Program? Think Twice.
COSTCO is known to go the extra mile to satisfy their customers with great exclusive member deals, and the automotive market is one they have done successfully, err, most of the time, sort of. We have experienced first hand as to what we believed, we were about to get a great exclusive deal with the vehicles we selected. We were contacted by a "trusted" COSTCO Auto Program person, Karen Fernandez, and away we went. After test driving and our interests peaked to purchase selected vehicles, we were unprepared with what seemed to be figures well surpassed what the COSTCO program should have offered us. Plus to our great disappointment, the documents handed to us were not displayed with the COSTCO AUTO PROGRAM logo on top, but instead with fees on top of fees, high interest rates that ended with a total so inflated, you would question COSTCO's reputable Auto Program. "Exclusive" prices for COSTCO members? Not this place. It was especially disheartening when your contact is supposed to work WITH the COSTCO members, not AGAINST and TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF (yeah, we dealt with 2 more salesmen after Karen got our unsatisfied answers). We've learned later from others here in Simi (who are COSTCO members) that they had similar experiences and told us this location should be avoided at all costs.
What makes it more personal for us is we purchased a 06 Toyota Highlander back in 2006 with the COSTCO Auto Program at this location and had such a great experience with them, that we thought, years later, we would have that same experience again. But truth be told, it was a far cry from what we experienced back then.
Either this Simi Toyota COSTCO AP team needs re-training, or restructuring, we will definitely not returning at this location anytime soon for our Toyota purchases.

Person checking me in was very helpful. I enjoyed the complimentary massage offered on Wednesdays. I was unable to get a ride from the shuttle, so I walked to the mall. Called for a pickup when I was done shopping and had prompt service and a pleasant driver. My car was done in the time I was quoted.
Service department is rude and seemed unfriendly and unwilling to go out of there way at all to help a customer. When I checked in my car they asked What is the latest we can keep it? This seems ridiculous since I had an appointment, it seems logical that they should just get the car done ASAP since it s MY CAR rather then trying to see how much they can slack off before I get angry. I told them 1:30 and I thought I was being generous since I was there 15 minutes early for my 11:15 appointment. I figured that gave them over 2 hours to do an oil change and tire rotation. Apparently that wasn t good enough because the guy asked me if they could keep it until 2 and had a bunch of excuses as to why they needed it that long. Again, I HAD AN APPOINTMENT! Also, when I picked my car up they wrote on the paperwork that I declined to have the cabin air filter replaced. That s funny because they never even asked me about replacing it. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR SERVICE! DCH Toyota of Simi Valley Shame on you

I don t normally leave reviews, but I really felt the need to share my experience buying my car from Austin at Simi Valley Toyota. The service was friendly, informative and fast. With this being the second car I ve ever purchased, I was really nervous to say the least. I bought my first car through car max to avoid the hassle of haggling, so coming to an actual dealership was a big step for me and I m glad I took it. I am very impressed with how seamless the process was and how hard they worked to make sure it was the car was the right fit and price for me. If you want the same experience I highly recommend asking for Austin Cosby. You won t regret it.
Great service and the work was done quickly. I really appreciate the recommendations for additional services but more so the fact that I was not pressured to add them on. Thank you for giving me the option but respecting my decision to pass or wait on them.
Fast friendly service. Prices for service can be steep though.
