About 3 weeks ago I took my 2008 Lexus IS250 for a check up because many faults showed up, including check engine light. I paid the $160 for them to go over the car and see if it can get fixed. They can back with a long list of items, including the fact that my engine is blown, making my car worthless. My wife and I then decide to park the car, then went out looking to lease a new Toyota. We went to this Northridge dealership, and the sales guy just did not treat us right. We then finally went to the Toyota dealer in Van Nuys where we leased a new new car. Happy with their service. I then opened my Lexus hood yesterday, and noticed the radiator cap was broken (was listed in the quote as well). I then decided to go to Autozone to buy a new $10 cap. I replaced the cap, and all the faults went away. I drove it around for about half hour last night, and the car drove perfect. Today I took the car to Huntington Beach which is about 70 miles from Northridge. No problem. I went to the dealer to tell them, and this service agent basically told me " well that was the analysis, and there's nothing else he can tell me. I was so disgusted with, I just left. They would've made thousands of dollars from my hard earned money, and simply replaced a $10 radiator cap. Shameless. I wish there was a zero star. They don't even deserve one. So be careful.
