My wife and I had a fantastic experience with Laura Gerken. She was proactive with communication before we arrived at the dealership, which streamlined the process once we arrived. There was a weather stripping on the car we ultimately purchased that was falling off, and the body shop was able to instantly replace it. Garrett Griffin in Finance also did a great job in explaining everything, and made us confident in our decisions. Thanks for the great experience!

This unscheduled appointment was, by far, one of the best auto shopping experiences we have ever had. We have been looking for a 2021 black Elite Honda Odyssey, and Anna of Tom Kadlec Honda was able to find exactly what we wanted. She went out of her way to show us what we were thinking about and was willing to teach us about the auto before we even committed to our purchase. Anna is an extraordinary sales clerk, and didn t create any pressure or tension at all. She treated us as though we were old friends, and we were able to laugh and enjoy the time we spent there. Garrett, also helped us through all of the paperwork, and he too is very personable and was a joy to work with. He eased us through the transition of warranties and explained all aspects of our financial status in a very easy way. He made spending more money be a bit enjoyable! :0). All-in-all, I would recommend this group of people to all others. I will send those who may be looking for a new purchase to this location. I called the Service Department at Tom Kadlec Honda late in the afternoon on the Friday before the Christmas holiday weekend. I had just discovered that one of the headlights was out on my 2013 Honda CR-V. Dennis Thompson answered the phone in the service department and told me to come over right away. Even though they were very busy and it was late in the day, Dennis was confident that they could get the work done. I really appreciated Dennis' confidence and reassurances. I went to the dealership and they not only replaced the headlight but also washed the salt and road gunk off the car! Great service!

Pretty good first experience in car-buying for me! Had the representative Kevin DeCaluwe assist me in trading in my junker for their mazda on the lot, and i'm very happy with the outcome. Got in-and-out with a new car by the end of the night, they even stayed a little after close to help finish the deal! The trade-in values are a little on the low side, but the sticker-price on the cars can't be beat.

I had test driven a few cars before the Honda Civic. It was the winner and I drove away with it on the day of the test drive. My sales person, Ryan Dowd, was easy to work with and personable. I did not feel pressured or rushed. Additionally, the finance director, Gregg Thompson made the paper signing process easy. The gentlemen both explained all the terms and value in a way that made sense and was easy to take in. I appreciated how seamless the process went from start to finish.

Quick and easy experience. Went through the online process of getting quotes and Tom Kadlec Honda beat out everyone else around me (live in the Twin Cities). Sales person was Andy Gostomczik. Answered all emails promptly and actually addresses all questions and concern I had, directly (as in, did not ignore what I wrote or asked, and responded as a human should). Took care of everything as I requested before arrival, presented the car, quick process with finance and I was out the door in less than an hour. Could have been quicker if I rushed, but I wasn't in any rush. Could not have went any better. Thanks.

I bought a 2020 CR-V Hybrid from Akhil at Tom Kadlec Honda. Overall, great experience. The team makes test driving very personable by letting you drive the car alone without a time limit, allowing you to fully engage with the vehicle and have a better idea of how much you like (or dislike) it. The experience was a good one with friendly customer service. I was greeted the moment I walked in the door, and was treated with patience and respect until the moment I drove away with my new vehicle. I would definitely recommend working with Akhil and the rest of the team at Tom Kadlec Honda!

Went used car shopping, so we stopped. They don't even put an asking price on the cars. They claim it's because of an ever changing market. Anyone who knows cars, knows a $7000 car, is a $7000 car. Its so you have to get with a sales person right out the gate. No thanks, we bought elsewhere.

Got quick, great service from Dennis Thompson this week. I had a recall on my CRV as well as a regular service update. All was done quickly and professionally and he even made sure my car got washed.. He made sure I was happy. In addition I have to comment on their waiting area, clean, lots of work stations if you need them, comfortable seating, lots of choices for beverages and snacks.

I haven't serviced my car with Tom Kadlec for quite some time, and the reason why I stopped was because the last time I was there I asked one of the service guys to explain what was wrong with my car to me so I could better understand. The guy that I spoke to was very rude and talked to me like I was an idiot. I will admit I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to car issues and technical problems. But that's the whole purpose of me bringing my car in, is because there is something wrong and I need it fixed and obviously don't understand enough to do it myself. After that I was very put off and felt that I could find better customer service elsewhere (which I did).

I went back a couple of weeks ago to the new location to purchase new windshield wiper blades. Slightly hesitant because of my last encounter there but I figured, new location whatever I'll give it another chance. The gentleman at the parts department was very helpful and friendly and then I asked if someone would be able to put them on for me and he directed me to the service area and instructed that someone would be able to help me there. I took the blades and stood in front of the service desks waiting for assistance. There were about 4 or 5 people there, none of which offered to help me, asked if I needed assistance or even acknowledged me. I stood there for more than 5 minutes then left.

Coming from someone who has worked in customer service, to ignore a customer, not even acknowledge that they are standing there is horrible. If someone would have said "be right with you" I would totally understand! I know times can get busy. But to have been treated rudely and now ignored I do not plan on coming back to this location nor would I tell a friend to go there. Very disappointed.

My experience was fantastic. I worked with Neal Moen and Jose (for a day) and both were incredibly knowledgeable and informative throughout the entire process. I was given a great price for my trade-in, and I am beyond pleased with my upgrade. The purchasing process was simple, and they worked with me on all of my requests, and ensured I was pleased with each decision I was making. I financed through them, and received a fantastic rate for my loan. I would certainly recommend anyone to purchase their next vehicle here, without hesitation!

I am now driving my third Honda CR-V! As a result of my wonderful experiences with Tom Kadlec, my mother purchased her current car from Tom Kadlec, and my son just purchased his first car (all Honda vehicles). Neal has always handled the needs for our family diligently and professionally. When my son came to pick up his new car, Neal had it right out front with balloons making the experience that much more memorable. Neal's definitely "Got the Deals!!! " On days that we have stopped and Neal is not available, Pedro has also been great to us. If you are looking for a new (or used) vehicle, you should definitely let these gentlemen assist in your search.

I recently bought my "first" car at Tom Kadlec Honda! I used the quotes because it's my first car that I own, instead of driving my dad's old car around and calling it mine. I have to say that the overall experience was excellent! I was helped by Andy Gostomczik and Brad Anderson in the process of purchasing my car and they really jumped through a lot of hoops and did plenty of backflips to make it work for my situation, being a young adult with practically no credit. I really appreciate all they did for me, and I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking to buy their first car.

Buying a new car is usually a painful job. It takes a long time, and most car dealers try to influence your opinion, typically to their benefit not yours or mine. I had decided to by my car from the Twin Cities, rather than Rochester Minnesota simply because of my previous experience with Rochester s car dealers. After several visits that spanned over several weekends I decided on a car and a dealer and we negotiated the price to my satisfaction. I was all set to get the car from the Twin Cities dealer, but on our way to the Twin Cities my brother-in-law encouraged me to visit the Honda dealer in Rochester Minnesota. Soon after arrival, we met Mr. Jake Wessel, who showed us the car we were interested in. I was happily surprised to find that he is quite knowledgeable about all aspects of that particular car. I was quite surprised to hear that he is a new salesman that has joined recently. His knowledge was certainly above and beyond what I would expect, and certainly superior to all the other car salesman that I have met over the past several weeks. I actually enjoyed working with Jake, and found him to be honest, answering clearly and in fact showed interest in both of us as customers. He was very friendly and in a genuine way trying to help and direct us. Even after buying the car, he insisted on showing us different features of the car and help us navigate the complexities of the computer aspects that were not apparent to us on the Honda Odyssey minivan. Days later he called me and left me messages with the additional information and answers to my questions. He also helped direct us to the proper financial methods that were offered at the dealership, and I believe worked hard in getting us the deal that we wanted. The price of the car was very competitive to the other car in the Twin Cities, however because of Mr.Wessel I decided to by the car from his dealership. I think that a dealership that hires educated, well mannered, hard working, sales men and women, who take interest in the clients and look at a long term relationship is worthy of my business. I decided to write this review to congratulate the Rochester Honda dealership on having this quality of a salesman. I would honestly strongly recommend visiting with Mr. Jake Wessel if you in the market for a car. He is an outstanding person--- Chuck A, 2018

I just bought an almost new 2018 CRV LX from your dealership last Friday (4/26) and am very happy with the vehicle and its performance so far! Honda salesman, Pedro Guevara was top notch. He was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles that I tried out last week. He went out of his way to be courteous and patient with me, showing and explaining all of the various features of the Honda that I eventually picked out to purchase. I really appreciated his non-pressure approach to selling cars and his confidence in the quality of the vehicles he sells at Tom Kadlec. I'd recommend him highly.
On an added note-My husband and I bought a 2113 Honda Pilot back in 2015 from Tom Kadlec and we have been very pleased with it's performance and the service we have received for it since that purchase four years ago. It's great to now have two Hondas parked in our garage! Thanks Tom Kadlec!

Well, I've lived in Rochester for years and I've always been told "If you want a good deal, drive to the cities to get it!". I have rarely ever taken such advise because I'm a loyal Tom Kadlec customer.

My wife and I had enjoyed the privledge of working with Max on our new Honda. From the beginning of the sale to the delivery of the car It was a fun and engaging experience. If someone ever asked my where to buy a car I'd say to them "Buy local, buy at Toms. Oh, and go find Max while your there! He'll take great care of you."

Thanks Toms for the great deal on our beautiful new Honda and thanks Max for making it an easy and fun experience! FIVE STARS!

Hello everyone i just bought a new 2013 civic si from tom kadlec and let me tell it was the best experience i ever had buying a car (this is my first brand new car). the person to assist me was Andy Gostomczik and he was very helpful with everything. Living about 45 miles away i did everything over the internet and phone and it was no hassle at all Andy was helpful with everything even went out his way to get my color of choice. We had a great experience shopping and picking up our car. We actually drive 5 1/2 hours in a snow storm to pick it up.

After they had our signatures, they pretty much ignored us. We didn't get our registration paperwork for 31 days, so we had to pay a late fee. Then the check they gave us to pay the county recorder was over $200 short, after we were sold on everything was included, tax, title and license out the door.
We never received 1 phone call, although we made 8 phone calls to the dealership looking for information on our title.
When we called to let them know of the shortage for our registration, we were told that the finance guy messed up the numbers and we were responsible for the short fall.
Tom Kadlac had a great opportunity to provide wow service and they choked after they got the sale.
Not angry, just disappointed.

We really enjoy working with Dennis Thompson. He explains what needs to be done and suggests maintenance only when needed. He's not pushy like some auto shops I've dealt with. He helped solve an issue (or what I thought was an issue) and helped to explain the new technology in the van and how it differed from the older model we used to have. He's very personable and honest. I trust my honda is being taken care of and maintained.

I had a good buying experience. I bought a used 2004 expedition. I've had a poor service experience with them. I just had my serpentine belt snap after having them replace an alternator. You have to remove the belt to replace the alternator. No one cared to mention that it looked worn, and needed replacement. I noticed that it looked a little rough, I forgot to say I wanted that done when the alternator was being replaced. My fault, and I certainly learned my lesson. I've only had this vehicle since November and I guess the next time I buy a vehicle, I'm gonna have some things replaced right away, just to avoid all the mess I've gotten myself into now. I only went to them because I bought an extended warranty, so you have to take it back to them for repairs. I just don't trust them.

Okay, this is an edit effective November 8th. I have a lot of problems with the Expedition that I bought from them. It's currently undrivable and sitting at a shop in Austin. One problem is the battery won't hold a charge. I had this battery put in January of 2018 at this dealership. I drove from Brownsdale to Austin to Rochester to exchange it for a viable battery because it's under warranty. I called earlier this week to ask about the battery thing and I was told I can just go up there and they'd exchange it for me. When I got there, a guy named Steve greeted me and basically interrogated me about this battery. They have the paperwork proving they'd supplied the battery. He wanted to know who I talked to. I've been on the phone a lot this week. I don't know who I talked to. They wanted to have me leave that battery so they could test it for hours... I've had to bring in batteries to Fleet Farm and they just take it. If it's out of the free replacement window, they pro-rate it, no problems have I ever had with Fleet Farm. I'm not leaving a battery and coming back when I drove 45 minutes to get this taken care of today. What's in it for me to try to get another battery if this one is really viable? It's a battery, nothing THAT expensive but it does cost money and it's almost new! It should not have given up already! I told them I'm going to Fleet Farm and I'm not coming back. I'm never stepping foot in this dealership again. This was a chance to prove to me that they do care about me as a customer and what I learned is that they care about the almighty dollar more and making sure I wasn't gonna get a battery from them because that's gonna cost them money. I had 2 alternators put in between January of 2018 and Spring/Summer of 2019. It's ridiculous. Just because I had that extended warranty, I really shouldn't have had to pay anything(I had to pay a deductible for the warranty to cover it). There wasn't very many miles between alternators(less than 5000 miles).Maybe it's a quality issue with their parts but if this alternator goes soon, I'll have to suck it up and pay for it myself. I appreciate the call from Clint at the dealership but it's a little too late. My pride means something as do my words and I said that I will never be back. I meant it.

Jordan Flynn, the mechanic who performed the excellent service explained to us what work was done and what work was necessary in the future. The waiting area is very comfortable and well supplied with beverages and snacks. Our car was washed and ready
to go at the scheduled time. I highly recommend this place.

We were just there today. Drove one hour from La crosse to Rochester. Talked to Neil on the phone, set up a appointment. Met up an hour and a 1/2 later. Once we arrived, had to wait another 30 minutes which was fine. He came out, we showed him all the stains on the inside of this brand new 2020 Honda Odyessy and he questioned if that was going to stop us from buying the car. We replied with a yes as we were very interested and was willIng to purchase this brand new car, that s why we drove one hour to there. Went for a test drive, came back. Sat in the car for over 20 min looking at the interior features and he did not come out to talk to us. Went inside and told them we were wanting to talk about the car. He eventually came out, took the plates off, didn t even bother to ask us how it was or if we liked it. His first and only response was, quote exactly, Come inside, if you want to take it home. And walked back inside. My husband and I just looked at each other and left. I mean with that kind of service, I m not willing to give you any service either. You just lost a sale and a customer plus many more of our family and friends.

The service here is always great. The price that receive you are polite and friendly. The drivers of the shuttle have always been kind and friendly. Their waiting area if you decide to wait is stocked with water, juice, and snacks and there is free internet. I can definitely see why they charge more for their services because of the comfort they provide their customers.

I had to go in for a recall fix. The people there were very friendly. It s odd in general because of COVID 19 but they were as hospitable as can be expected while also social distancing. I had dropped my work phone in the chair I was sitting in and forgot it there. I got a call and email not long after leaving about it. Luckily I was not far away and could turn around to get it. Great customer service. The facility was superb as well. They had someone walking around cleaning services and restrooms the entire time. The only bit of criticism would be that it was optional for employees to wear masks. It would have been nice if everyone would wear one since it is a federal recommendation to do so.

They have complimentary popcorn, snacks, coffee and drinks. Their facility is nice and neat. I went in originally to get my airbags fixed due to a recall, but a day later the airbag light was on again. They are super friendly and the customer service is good.

Mo was SO helpful! I picked out my vehicle before hand, they had all paperwork for me when I showed up! They gave me a super deal on my trade in. The vehicle I was getting got detailed right before I showed up, and I didn t even have to ask them to do that! I will definitely be coming back the next time I need a vehicle! (Even though they are over 2 1/2 hours away.... this was the BEST customer service!)

I recently purchased a 2016 Lincoln from this dealership. I was greeted by my sales rep Brian Kopp. Brian is probably one of the most down to earth individuals who really tries to get to know who you are as a person. My interaction with Brian was top notch and he really just wants to see you in the vehicle of your dreams. 10/10 recommend speaking with Brian Kopp!!! Now my review is low because of the business manager (the ones who talk pricing). Stay away from JULIO!!! He is a con artist who is only out to get his commission. I am currently in sales myself and the way he handled the sale was un-ethical and deceiving. He is a sneaky individual. Not giving you all the information you need and hiding some of the deeper details. He also wrote my purchase agreement incorrectly having me bring a check in almost $1000.00 short. I drove an hour and a half in a thunderstorm to pick up my new car and JULIO made the mistake of writing an incorrect agreement. This not only cost me time in my life to have this issue fix but my credit union as well, the multiple people who worked on my auto loan. JULIO's lack of attention to detail cause more harm than good, and the dealership management did nothing to help the process. All in all stay away from JULIO, find someone different, I wouldn't want anyone else to have to deal with the mess he caused me and many others who worked on my auto loan.

Changed to a four star from a one star since Clint the manager made it right. Thank you! I called their service number and told them my year make and model and was told they were open all day. I scheduled an appointment for 1:30p and was told a FULL synthetic would be $50 I double checked before she hung up and she said yes about $50. Arrived and was told it would be $86 because of my vehicle. Sat for 2 hours, for an oil change. Horrible. Mike didn t even give me my $5 discount. Go to any other guy besides Mike because other people left before me when they arrived after me!!! Mike tells me this will never happen again.... I don t think so.

He was very focused on helping us find a car we were totally satisfied with at the best price possible. He was very frank about the various features and models so that we could make the right choices for us.

Worked with Brad Dahl on my Honda Ridgeline. I had to leave it overnight and he arranged a loaner for the evening. He explained in detail what was needed to be repaired. It was on a timely basis. Very personable to work with.

All of my experiences at Tom Kadlec's have been excellent, and Steve Peters in the service department is as good as they come. The service is super and the facility is the best I've ever seen.

I am not one to write a review, good nor bad how...

I am not one to write a review, good nor bad however, after my experience at Tom Kadlec Honda & many thoughts of should I or should I not write a review... I m doing it.

This was my first big purchase I have made, so I was hoping it would be a good one.

My first encounter with Neal was unprofessional, however, I blew it off because people have their days, I get that.
Nonetheless, the next multiple encounters, were even more unprofessional.
The last encounter that tipped me over the edge to essentially write this review, was the fact that I felt like I was not being taken cared of as a customer... I went in while my car was still under full warranty to discuss a piece of trim that wasn t sitting properly by my windshield. I was thinking I could somehow get a new part ordered or the resources to do so instead, Neal, took a steak knife to my car in hopes of fixing the part himself, meanwhile, took chips of paint out of my car & wrecked the trim, it had to be taped down (my dad helped me until I could get a new part ordered). I felt extremely violated. He proceeded to tell me how this was not his problem since I bought a Toyota car from a Honda dealership. I had to order a new piece of trim myself.
As a nurse, this is not how you take care of your customers. I have lots of friends & co workers that are thinking of purchasing new vechicles & I am 100% not recommending Tom Kadlec.

I took my Honda CVR to your Service Department tod...

I took my Honda CVR to your Service Department today for some routine maintenance. Blake carefully explained what needed to be done. He treated me with courtesy and humor when when I searched in my handbag for the "key" forgetting that the new ignition keys don't look like they used to look. Your Service Department completed the work on my car promptly. Thank you!
