Brad Anderson was great to work with when I brought my CRV in
for scheduled maintenance! He explained everything and kept me
updated throughout the process. Time waiting was less than expected
and the waiting area is comfortable and spacious.
My last 3 vehicles have been Hondas and I bought this Honda
partly because I wanted to continue getting service AT Honda in
Rochester!

I have always bought my cars through family and friends, recently I decided to go through a dealership. (mind you, I went to A LOT) And this one was by far the best. Andy Gostomczik and Luke Scharrer are SO helpful. I have noticed most dealerships are pushy or try to get you to buy just anything. These guys made this 100% stress free and actually really fun. I will be purchasing all of my cars through them from now on. Also, they drove the car and paperwork to me because I live 2 hours away! how wild is that?!

Love this place!! We happened upon it by accident. Tressa, our salesperson, was awesome!! Couldn't have asked for better! She listened to what we wanted and showed us trucks in our criteria. My husband has back issues and after driving the 3.5 hour trip home, he said his back felt great!! How much more could you ask for? Their truck inventory is awesome! We left with the truck that fit all our needs and it was at a great price!! I would highly recommend them AND Tressa

We purchased a truck for our son from Nick Mankoci and our experience was great. Nick is a very nice and friendly product specialist. We felt no pressure from him to purchase the vehicle we did buy. He gave us all the information we needed for any extras but did not make us feel we needed to to buy them if we choose not to. Would recommend Nick and all of the staff at Tom Kadlec when looking to purchase a vehicle.

We received great service at Tom Kadlec Honda. We chose the contactless option and waited in the dog park with our dog while the oil change got done. They even drove up the car right where we were and offered a treat for our dog. Thank you Brad!

I initially walked in thinking I wasn t going to buy on account of a limited budget, but Andy Gostomczik was great and walked me through options that I had available. While I didn t get the blue civic I wanted, I did get a nice Steel colored 2016 Civic that had only 20k miles on it. It has all the features I need, and was affordable. Andy explained the differences between model years, and kept in touch over text. In the end, I think I got a great value, and I would definitely return the day I have enough for one of those Type-R s they got in the lobby. Or you know, another regular civic. Either or. I highly recommend Andy and this Honda dealership.

I went into Honda not sure what kind of car I wanted and was nervous due to previous dealerships being pushy and using high pressure sale tactics. Kevin DeCaluwe at Honda helped me find the perfect car for me! He was never pushy and made me feel comfortable and confident in the car I chose! Kevin gave me great information on vehicles and gave me his honest opinion when I asked for it. I would very highly recommend Kevin for any car purchases!! Everyone there was friendly and made the process of getting a car super easy and stress free. I will definitely go there again in the future when I m ready for my next vehicle!

I worked with Andy Gostomczik via email, long distance. Andy was extremely helpful. He was prompt in his communication with me. He was willing and able to discuss business via email, without me having to come all the way to the dealership. Being a busy, working mother this was priceless for me. He was always willing to negotiate to get me the best possible deal for me. I would definitely recommend Andy to friends who are looking for a new car and will be in touch with him again when I'm looking for another vehicle.

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Would have bought a car from them but they undervalued my trade in by at least 1,500 according to Kelly blue book and other sources. Obviously you take a hit trading into a dealership but I felt they were not giving a fair value. Just be aware of the value of your car before trading in there.

I love my Pilot and I love the service Tom Kadlec provides. Brad Dahl is my "go to" service coordinator and goes above and beyond to make sure I am taken care of and my vehicle is in top notch running condition.

This is a review for their Parts/Service departmen...

This is a review for their Parts/Service department.

I would advise people go elsewhere to get their Honda pilot fixed as this dealership upcharges everything.

My wife went in to get our passenger side mirror fixed (It was vandalized, they broke the base of the housing that attaches the actual mirror to the car, but the wiring, mirror, mirror housing were all fine). They said they could repair it for $260 by just replacing the broken parts of the base. An entire new mirror assembly only costs $230 on honapartsonline, but I figured I wouldn't have to paint the exterior cover to match so I figured it was fine.

Turns out after things were all said and done, the fix cost $360 and still all they did was replace part of the mirror assembly. If I would have known up front they were going to gouge me for $100 more than they quoted, I would have said no thanks, bought a whole new mirror assembly for $230 and painted it myself and saved probably $100, only I would have an entirely new mirror assembly instead of just a couple of parts like I do now.

Summary:

Don't go here for parts/service. They under quote you to lure you in, then gouge you when you're stuck.

PEDRO- no last name needed- is a legend at Kadlec. We saw a vehicle on AutoTrader , called Kadlec, spoke with Pedro, drove from the Twin Cities on a Friday, arrived at 12:30pm and by 3 pm we headed back to the Cities with our new vehicle. No fuss, no games! Kadlec is a spacious, well-appointed dealership but what's most impressive is that they want you as a customer so they respect what you say you want/need, no upselling!

The work that was done on our family van was great...

The work that was done on our family van was great, We even got a free wash (which our van really needed!!) Everyone was very friendly. The waiting area was nice, neat, clean and welcoming.
The only thing we would have liked to have been a little better was they noticed a leak while changing the oil, however did not really look into it. We would have really liked them to look into it just a little bit further so we had an idea of what was wrong and how urgent the problem was. Otherwise it was great!!

I appreciate honda so much. My family has given so much business to this company. We trust HONDA! But stereotypes about dealership's are real. My girlfriend bought a vehicle in mankato at luther dealership. We had to use our extended warranty for the drive train (ours was purchased for under 112k drive train). We went through rochester Tom Kadlec. Our experience could have been have been better depending on the service "representative". We interacted with helpful willing to help but we ran into representatives that could not care less. Blake @ the service desk could have not been more unprofessional. When we did raise concern to honda. All we received, when we picked up our vehicle, from honda was sarcastic and rhetorical questions from the representative. Expected more, being we do so much business there, but for now on will be more careful when we do visit that specific dealership.

I was car shopping and had my mind set on only lux...

I was car shopping and had my mind set on only luxury vehicles. I went in originally looking for a Lexus IS 250 I saw online. Test drove that and was not extremely crazy about the fact that the previous owned had smoked in it. The 2016 Civic really caught my eye. I test drove both an Accord and the Civic and instantly fell in love with the Civic. I worked with a gentleman named Bob and his manager. We had a small hiccup in getting the car I wanted because of some misunderstandings though with some due diligence on Honda's end they offered me something I could not refuse. I'm happy that they worked with me to get me what I wanted.

I am completely in love with my new 2016 Honda Civic and that is saying a lot. I test drove a Mercedes C class, Acura ILX, Lexus IS and ES. My car handles better than all of these options. It glides around curved exits so beautifully. All the features I am used to plus more at such an amazing price.

There's a good reason so many people say "Neal's Got The Deals!" It's because it's true. We just bought our second car from Neal Moen at Tom Kadlec Honda (a 2019 Civic Sport) and couldn't be happier. Both times, Neal really became part of our family. He listened to what we wanted, and what we needed, and what we could afford, and helped put together several great options for us. In fact back in 2016 when we first bought from Neal, we weren't even sure we could afford a new car let alone the great Accord he helped us get! So it really is true that Neal's Got The Deals! And the rest of the team from the smiling faces up front, to the helpful and courteous service team, to Julio and Max in finance, they are all truly outstanding professionals. We never before had such easy and enjoyable car-buying experiences, and we want to thank Neal Moen and everyone at Tom Kadlec Honda. It's clear to our family that #KadlecCares!

I was fortunate to have received a reply from Ethan Wilkemeyer, who was always fast to respond and easy to talk to. He made the whole process of leasing 2 cars smooth and hassle free. I was very pleased with the service received this past week at Tom Kadlec. Brad Dahl kindly helped me navigate what needed to be done to my van. He explained everything and then worked to offer me some discounts as I was having a lot of work done. Trusting Brad is very important to me because (1) I am not a car expert, (2) this is my only vehicle, and (3) as a newly single woman not used to taking care of the vehicles, I don't necessarily know what to expect in repairs and possible issues that could arise. Brad has guided me through what I need to do to keep my vehicle safe and road worthy. I appreciate his advice and trust his expertise. He approaches everything with the highest level of professionalism and knowledge. Thank you, Brad!

We went in looking for a Honda Pilot. Andy was very helpful and went above and beyond. Anne was awesome with giving us accurate information regarding the Honda Pilot we were interested in. Max helped with financing and broke everything down in detail. We wouldn t have gone anywhere else. Super helpful and they go above and beyond for the customers. A week later our pilot was serviced for a wheel alignment, undercoating and buffing out the scratches. We couldn t be happier with the service and how welcoming Andy, Anne and Max were. Keep it up

Had oil changed, right after that car was stalling at every stop.
Had to take it back. Service advisor promised to take a look at it tomorrow.
Never had it before don t know what to do with it. Will check with them tomorrow.
Besides that mechanics left oily palm prints all over front end. Not professional on my book.

I began using the services at Tom Kadlec when I purchased I new 2017 KIA Sorento. I have been extremely satisfied with the service I receive from Jason and his staff. My car is always returned to me with all the service work performed at top notch standards and cleaner than when I dropped it off. The shuttle drivers are always friendly and right on time. It's tough to find this type of service anywhere these days but these guys knock it out of the park!

Over the last month we have been looking at getting a new vehicle. From the first night we stopped out to look, until the day we bought it, Santiago Jimenez was amazing to work with! He made it so easy and smooth. He even came in on his day off so he could get us information on different payments and compared leasing/purchasing details. When we came in to finalize everything he filled our vehicle up with balloons in our kids favorite colors. It was all the little things that added up to make our experience great. I recently purchased a used Honda at Tom Kadlec Honda. Andy Gostomczik was my sales representative who made the whole process exceptionally smooth, despite the distance from me to the dealership. Whenever I had a question or concern, Andy quickly responded and ensured all details were correct. Andy personally expedited the sales and delivery process to be sure I would note be disappointed; he always made me feel at ease and that I was his only customer. If I'm ever in the market for a Honda in the future, I'll be contacting him.

I normally don t write reviews, but never in my life have I felt so disrespected while buying a car. I want people to know my experience because I hope it can help you when choosing which dealership not to go to. When I went into Tom Kadlec Honda (Right off highway 14 in Rochester, MN) the day after test driving, I went in to negotiate prices on their used vehicles. I introduced myself to Neil and discussed with him how the vehicle was on the lot for a while and Kelly blue book prices. I told him my offer and he stated, That s not going to happen. After telling him multiple times my name is Katelyn, he asked me, What s your name again, Kristen. He proceeded to then go back and see what he can do with the prices. When he came back, he had the same price it was originally listed for. He then said, tell your boyfriend that we can negotiate around this price He s the one that told you to come in and negotiate that price, right? I told Neil I was the one buying the vehicle from the start and I m the one negotiating prices not my boyfriend (Who was with me on my first visit). Not only did Neil disrespect me as a woman but he was extremely unprofessional about negotiating price, nor did he explain why they couldn t take the offer I suggested or assist me through the buying process.

I felt extremely disrespected in both his tone and manners toward me because I was a woman. I would not recommend this dealership.

Excellent service! Inquired thru the internet on a vehicle I was interested in test driving and Anna Thomson quickly got back to me that it was still available. Went to check the car out and Anna had it all ready at the lot. Everything went well and now enjoying my new-to-me vehicle.

I'm a medical student who just started this fall in Kansas City. Despite my busy schedule, Scott Siem was patient enough and flexible with me the whole way! Personally, I thought the whole process of leasing a car was going to be confusing, overwhelming, and exhausting. I could not ask for better service! Scott was didn't use any technical jargon that lost me and before I knew it I was on my way with a 2012 Accord!
