Tom Kadlec did not have the exact color that I wanted, and AJ even had the car delivered to their lot. I also received a very fair price for my trade-in.

Purchased a used 2008 Ford Escape from Tom Kadlec....

Purchased a used 2008 Ford Escape from Tom Kadlec. Learned my lesson on buying a used car from Tom Kadlec. Have had the car for 5 months and have experience the following issues: Extreme leaks of coolant/anti-freeze, car overheating, EGR Valve replacement (car stalling and shutting off while driving, this happened within 1 month), rear window latch replacement, as it broke off, emergence of rust from poor patching/cover-up job. I understand you are taking a chance every time you buy a used car, however there is no way Tom Kalec service techs didn't notice the idling issues and leaks. Overall very disappointed with the quality of my purchase from Tom Kadlec and would NOT recommend to anyone looking to purchase a used vehicle.

Update.. got a call back from shop today. Leaky water pump & blown head gaskets. $$$ thousands of dollars in repairs. Thanks Tom Kadlec

After an hour and a half I decided to start looking at the guy that was supposed to be tending to me and eventually a few minutes later he said the truck is on his way out there is clean the tire tire was still dirty when I got to examine it to make sure there's no damage and I'm not sure what time it was when I left I more rate at one star phora poor service to stars because the service manager was very helpful

On 8/24/18 my husband and I took my parents here to look for a used sedan. My mom had been in a car accident recently and totalled their car. Pedro was standing outside and immediately assisted us. He suggested a Honda Odyssey, because my parents are older, and it is easier to get in and out of this vehicle than a sedan. He was VERY patient and respectful to my parents and answered all their questions. Thank you Pedro! You don't always see this type of kindness anymore! They got the Honda Odyssey for a reasonable price and were very satisfied.

We have had good experiences at the Honda dealersh...

We have had good experiences at the Honda dealership. It was efficient and friendly. We just had another regular maintenance there, but the experience this time was not so good. The guy showed the bill of $213, $100+ more than usual. I was surprised to see the figure. He explained that they used code B, instead of code A. Code B apparently almost triple the price. These jargons mean nothing to me and he didn t tell me before hand at all. The bill just labeled labor cost of $178.89. Not sure why it cost so much labor when the whole maintenance work took about the same time as previous work. I just felt quite suspicious about their black box pricing scheme.

UPDATE: Kiefer spoke to me about the events leadin...

UPDATE: Kiefer spoke to me about the events leading up to the sale of the truck and was very transparent with me about what had happened. Long story short there was a person on site that was able to see the vehicle as soon as it had gone through inspection, also that when it had came out of inspection Andy did not get pictures likely because he was with another customer at the time and Kiefer said that he would confirm that with Andy. I appreciate the fact that the manager reached out without sounding....(High and Mighty) if that makes sense and did take time to walk through the events even giving times and dates when vehicle was sold. Turns out even that the reason i wanted pictures was so i could confirm the fact it was a manual. Turns out it was infact an automatic which i would have said no too anyway. If it was a manual though i would have been sore on missing out on it but none the less Kiefer deserves credit in boosting my review from 1 star to 4 stars.

A little frustrated with these guys especially with what appears to be good reviews. I contacted them about a 2004 Dodge Dakota the day it was posted online. It did not have any pictures so I assumed it was a new arrival but I was very interested and wanted pictures as soon as possible. This theory was confirmed by Mr. Andy G. he did a good job responding right away via email. He said,
"This truck just came in on trade and is still going through our standard inspection. As soon as it's finished with that, I can send you the pictures."
So I responded thanks. The next day I see 4 exterior pictures posted online and things look promising but I still needed to see the interior, under the hood, and the bed of the truck. (I live about 400miles away so I cannot make a day trip just to look.) So I emailed Andy again asking for pictures and was given this response again
"Hi Kyle,
Thanks for your email. As soon as the Dakota goes through our standard inspection, I will get you the pictures.Thanks for your patience."
So I think okay, I guess he can't get access to the vehicle yet for some reason. Then this morning I checked to see if there are more pictures and the truck is Gone! What the Heck...
So after being involved with this truck before it even made it to inspection it gets sold out from under me. I emailed Andy this morning asking what was up? And why it was already sold without my knowledge. Surprisingly a usually very responsive man has not responded to my question all day. So if a manager at the dealership reads this I would appreciate a response and explanation, because I was involved before the inspection and was very interested. I would have appreciated priority. I will consider changing this review if I recieve a response with a justifiable reason for not giving me a shot at this vehicle as I was plannkng on making a trip this weekend to see it . Thanks.

Very disappointed with our experience with this dealer. We talked with one of the salesmen back and forth about a particular truck, that we have already received a purchase agreement for. On the morning of the day we were going to come down money in hand (from 2 hours away) we were told that the vehicle was taken off their website and pulled off the lot and held for us. On our way there he called us and told us the vehicle was sold. We would have put money down to secure the vehicle but this was never offered to us. After basically telling us to get over the fact that it sold out from under us he still tried to get us to come down to look at other vehicles. I wish we could rate 0 stars. Needless to say we will be taking our business elsewhere.

From the moment I pulled up to the new service gar...

From the moment I pulled up to the new service garage & the huge door flew up, I was totally impressed as I drove into the new, beautiful, sparkling clean service bay. The service representatives desks were angled on my right & Steve Peters was there waiting to greet me & go over the service that would be performed that day. He asked if I had any other questions or concerns. I was then ushered in to the awesome waiting area! Computers, TV, lounge with a fireplace, kids play station area & a snack bar. This area was the perfect place to wait while my car was being worked on. In no time at all my car was ready to go. Steve went over the service & the check sheet that lets me know what was done on my car. Steve treats my car like it were his own & makes sure I'm aware of upcoming repairs that will be needed.
Steve Peters has been in the service department ever since I bought my 2003 Honda Accord & has always been there making sure my car is in good running order. My car just turned over 273,000 miles thanks to Steve & the service department at Tom
Kadlec Honda.

Update: 8-13-19
After receiving apology emails and videos, I wanted to still work with Tom Kadlec Honda. However, after a few emails with the sales person I decided not to. Reason being, after my incident with them on Friday, September 9th, I asked them if I could get a discount for their poor costumer service. Their sales rep said yes. So after 3 days of exchanging emails with him, he offered me $21,670 from the market price of $23,000. Sounds like a good deal right? No. The only reason why I went there in the first place was because I was quoted a price of $20,816 from another person from that same dealership. When I told him that I was quoted that price, he quickly said that he can match that price but was not willing to waive the registration fees or give me additional features for the inconvenience they have caused me.

I live out of town so I made an appointment at 5 on Friday with Pedro. Got there on Friday and was not happy. They greet me at the door and I told them that I had an appointment with Pedro at 5. They told me to take a seat and they called for him. So my buddy and his girlfriend, who took me, and I sat in the lobby for 2 hours and still didn't get any service. In that 2 hours that we were there, no one came back to ask us if we needed anything or why we were there. So after 2 hours we waited long enough and just left. What was even more upsetting was that people came in after they were closed and still got helped while we sat there and waited. The only good thing that happened was that another person, right when we got there, offered us drinks and snacks while we waited. Other than that it was very disappointing experience.

I had my 19 yr old suv serviced here recently, and the techs/mechanics conducted an almost spot on diagnostic, and quickly serviced my car according to my requests based on the diagnostic. I worked with Servicing Advisor Brad Dahl who fielded several questions, and explained maintenance issues/procedures in a professional, courteous, and caring manner. Servicing turn around time was about 3 and 2 hours both times I've been. Customer service is exceptional, feels like they really cared about my car, me and my input/feedback, and my time (excellent shuttle service to and from my work place). I've been to a handful of Honda dealerships around the country that provide maintenance/servicing, and I was exceedingly impressed by the service provided here. Easily the best honda dealership service center I've been to yet. 10/10 would recommend!

Excellent service, friendly, quick to get in and out when dropping off. But while I did state that I didn't need the car back by any specific time, I had dropped off the vehicle around 7:15 am, and had to call myself around 5:00 to see if my car was done. Which then meant I had to wait for the shuttle be available to pick me up. I would have appreciated being notified when the car was actually done so that I could have arranged a shuttle ride at a less busy time during the day.

We purchased a 2013 Volvo XC60 T6 R-design from Tom Kadlec Honda in Rochester,MN and with-in 90 days the vehicle needed a new engine. The repair shop that evaluated the car, Glasgow in St. Paul, said there had been a coolant leak for a very long time. Carfax stated that the vehicle was in an accident, something the sales person failed to tell us. This could be the reason he shy'd away from providing me with a Carfax. I have also discovered it is not the model that they sold me, they told me it had the R-Design package, it does not. The vehicle had a sticker that stated it came with a 30 day warranty then when i looked though the paper work there was a as-is sticker. i have both. We were quoted $7200 to replace the engine, which we are doing, I paid $19,000 for the car. The representative will no longer communicate with me, and states that they don't have my email on file.

We were traveling to Rochester from Illinois and had engine problems with our Accord. Steve was amazing and took great care of us. They even took the car on a long test drive so they could feel comfortable putting us back on the road for the 6 hour drive home. We had to have some additional adjustments made to the engine when we got home and Steve worked with our home dealership and covered all additional expenses. Their service waiting area was very comfortable and the variety of free snacks and drinks was fantastic! Steve even encouraged us to take some for our car trip home! Thanks to everyone at Tom Kadlec Honda!

This will be the final time getting service done a...

This will be the final time getting service done at this place. Everytime I bring my car to do an oil change and tire rotation it takes an unusual long time to do for some reason. Sometimes they say it will be 45min and it turns into 1hr and 30mins. This time I was here waiting for 3 and a half hours for the same routine maintenance with the same excuse of there was a bottle neck or we ran into some problems. The service writer said it may take a little longer than usual but down played the ridiculous amount of time it was actually going to take. I assume as a service writer you should know how long a service will be and how busy the techs are.

Sales staff was nice but management was very unprofessional. They where hiding behind their glass wall and never came out. The manager went out of his way to avoid me when they appraised my vehicle. I bought my last truck here 3 years ago and had a great experience. I came back and got treated like I was an inconvenience.

We were recently in the market for a 2018 CRV and called various dealers to obtain quotes. We're in Central Wisconsin, but on a whim, we added Kadlec to our list and we're sooo glad we did. Not only was the price great, but from the start, Pedro Guevara (sales) and Kyle Rudesill (finance) were absolutely fantastic. Pedro, in particular, garners recommendation due to his ethical nature. As an example...He didn't have to point out the small area of chipped paint on the door edge that he noticed right before delivery. We never would have noticed it. But he brought it to our attention and immediately offered to make it right. Within an hour, their paint expert had the door touched up and ready to roll. I should also note that Kyle wasn't just great during the paperwork process, but has also been wonderful post-sale on fielding our numerous questions about paperwork, warranties, etc. Ultimately, these two gents have placed Kadlec on the top of our list for places to look for future purchases!

Luke Scharrer and Z provided top notch customer service when I was helping my Grandma purchase her new CR-V. The whole staff was very helpful, kind, and showed us everything about the vehicle. They even obtained the exact color she wanted, and they were very fair on the pricing!! I personally bought 2 vehicles here and the experience was great. Sold us a pile of ****. Car had issues before we even made our first payment. They wouldnt pay for the tow to their service dept, but I guess they were nice enough to recommend a tow company(prolly cuz it happens more often then they will admit). Service wouldnt help when we had issues, in fact the answer I got was "Oh its a Buick, we dont even have tools to work on a Buick." When was the last time anyone bought a wrench that said for Honda use only. A car is a car and a wrench is a wrench, if they turn bolts on Hondas they will work for Buicks.

My overall experience was great. I do not enjoy shopping for vehicles and am not quick to embrace new technology.
So that said.. Neal Moen was excellent in presenting the available vehicles and then explaining how to use the technology.

I want to say that our overall experience at Tom Kadlec Honda was positive from start to finish. We were looking for a safe and reliable car for our son. I contacted the dealership via the phone and was directed to Russ Dahlke. He gave me the details on the car we were interested in and my son and I came down from the cities for a test drive. Russ was personable, knowledgeable and was happy to take the time to show us the features of the car and make us feel like it would be a good car for a young driver. After we purchased the car, we had a problem with one of the tires. Between Russ and Ryan Dowd, the Used Car Manager, they made sure the problem was addressed without us having to come back down to Rochester. Overall, we are very satisfied with the service we received from Russ and Ryan and Tom Kadlec s commitment to its customers.

Jake Anderson was very helpful over the phone and email, especially keeping me informed that the certified used vehicle was still available before I spent 3 hours drive-time to get to Rochester for a test drive. The sale price was well below the Edmund's True Market Value so it was a haggle free experience. No hassles on the closing. Overall a fairly low stress buying experience.

Just drove away a 2012 Honda Civic from Andy Gostomczik at Tom Kadlec in Mid-October. Quite positive experience, just as other reviews here I had read before I decided to make a deal with Tom Kadlec. Andy is amazing. We reach an agreement on a good price via Internet. Then I drove 3 hours to pick up the car. Within about half an hour there, everything is done. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends in Minneapolis and Iowa. Thank you Andy and Tom Kadlec to make car purchase so much easier. Keep up the good work Andy!

I had the pleasure of dealing with Kevin DeCaluwe when looking and buying a new car and then finalizing the deal with Max Weisheipl (the money guy). The whole experience was more like dealing with family than a car dealership, my concerns were their concerns and that was followed through from test drive to signing the purchase papers. Not many times can I remember someone calling, as Kevin did, to see if I had questions or needed any help with any of my Honda's features. The first time I met Mohamed, he was polite and willing to help make our car buying experience one to remember. We didn't buy that day, but I was determined to make him my first stop for business. Later a vehicle came up and he was my first stop. He was especially helpful and willing to go the extra mile. He made it a pleasure to do business with and made the experience a memorable one for my daughter and I. I told him that when I am ready to buy again I will be checking in with him.

Neal Moen has been our guide through the purchase of four vehicles from Tom Kadlec. We keep coming back because we love the dependability of Honda machines, but to Neal in particular for his ability to:
*Listen: He hears what we want, what we need and what we are looking for.
*Offer choices: After he is clear about our intentions, he offers viable options for meeting our needs and we feel free to choose for ourselves.
*No high pressure: We have changed our minds, walked away, come back, and gone through the process again. Neal accepts it all with style and grace.
* Humor: It's a lot to go through in buying a car and Neal's wisecracking lightens it up and makes it fun.
*Personal touch: I don't know how he does it, but he remembers our names, our children's name and if we had a dog, he would know the dog's name too.
*Balance: While it is clear that Neal works for Honda, I always feel I have gotten the best deal I could financially. I'm never pressured to take on more that I can handle.
Tom Kadlek and Honda vehicles are awesome and they are very wise to have Neal Moen on their team. We will go to him as long as he is there. I recommend him him highly.

Worked with Bryon Call at Tom Kadlec to purchase my used 04 Grand Am. I was in a bit of hurry to find a car seeing I had been without one for a good week. Byron was very up front and honest about the car I was looking into. He came in on his day off to help me finalize the purchase and spent a good chuck of his time working with me and answering all of my questions. He was very proactive and had all the paperwork that he could have filled out before I even came in to sign the papers I needed. I would HIGHLY recommend not only Byron Call as your salesman but as well as Tom Kadlec for your next car!

I bought a used SUV last weekend and was so impressed with the smooth and friendly process. My salesperson initially was Anna Thompson who was so helpful in finding out what I was looking for and setting up a test drive. Later, Luke Scharrer also helped with a test drive of another vehicle. Both of these individuals were very friendly and helpful. I also was very pleasantly surprised with the finance process due to the excellent help I received from Derrick Meltzer. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He made the financial process go smoothly and quickly. I walked in at 10 am and left with my new car at 2 pm despite it being a very busy Saturday.
