This week I purchased a 2019 Honda CRV EXL from Tom Kadlec. This is the second car I have bought through TK. Both times I ve worked with salesman Andy Goose Gostomczik. He s been wonderful to work with - personable, honest, patient, never pushy, a person with highest integrity! Andy responded quickly to emails, texts or calls with information I needed or to answer questions. I live in the Twin Cities but purchasing through Tom Kadlec in Rochester was as convenient as could be! Car was driven up here and purchase finalized in my home!

Andy Goose has worked 16 years at TK and that s reflective of his hard work, doing things right and many satisfied new and returning customers like me! :). Thanks Andy, and all others who helped with my new car!!

I m a first time car buyer, so I was somewhat nervous and excited about the whole process! I knew what kind of I car I wanted so when I went in and described they car, they suggested the HR-V. Took it on a test drive, and I ended up getting the sport version. Super polite, super helpful staff! The salesman and the business person were super easy to get along with and fun to talk to! It made the whole process of figuring out the finances and deals so much less stressful than it could have been!

If you re looking at cars, def check this place out. Good cars for great prices!

They also explained the breakdown of the pricing and the warranty super good, I knew exactly what I was doing and what I signed up for!

Make sure you have NOTHING in your vehicle if you have it serviced here. Had a great experience when I purchased my vehicle from them. I took my vehicle in because there were warning lights on. Had to leave it there for a few days because I live an hour away and out of state. They said it would not be a problem. Once I got my vehicle back I noticed it had been "gone through", ( items from the glove compartment were in the back seat, air freshener from drivers seat now in the back passenger seat) And items were missing (sunglasses and spare change from the center compartment) among other things. I have called and no one will discuss this issue with me.

Bought a 2012 Chevy Cruz from this dealer in December and recently noticed an oil leak. They gladly topped it off for free until they could get me in for service (3 days). I worked with Brad Dahl and he was super nice and made it very clear what was wrong (oil plus coolant leak). He even offered me a free rental because it was going to take longer to repair than expected Brad and the staff were super helpful and I would highly recommend. Thanks Brad!

I purchased 2019 Honda Odyssey EX-L from Tom Kadlec Honda last Saturday. It was a great experience.

My Sales Agent is Schyler Thomas. Unlike Salespersons in Twin Cities' dealership, who almost always play games with you, Schyler is open, nice and straight-forward.

When we visited Tom Kadlec Honda in Rochester, to my surprise, it is much cleaner and more customer-friendly than dealerships in Twin Cities. When the colors my wife would like to choose are all gone, we disappointed and almost have decided to give up, Schyler worked with his manager and offered us some cash discount. Although cash discount is not much, we do feel that this dealership put customer Satisfaction on the top priority and could be trusted. We finally pulled the trigger.

I also would like to thank Steve Kroege, who is the Financial Manager there. Steve finished all of my paperwork on time and explained all options for us. Steve is a reliable person.

I strongly recommend Tom Kadlec Honda and Schyler Thomas to all Honda car shopper. I wish they have a branch in twin cities. They are the best Honda dealership in all 10 MN Honda dealerships I have visited.

Currently on our 4th vehicle purchased from Tom Kadlec. No issues up until now. Dropped van off at scheduled 9am appointment for oil change, tire rotation and diagnose a broken map light under warranty. Scheduled a 4pm completion and pickup time. By 4pm had not received any call. I called the service department and was told by Mike that he would check status and call me back. 30 minutes later i had not heard back. Called again and Mike told me that he hadn't checked yet but that i should just come in and get the van and he couldn't check on status because he had a customer at his desk. I understand things can get busy, but don't imply that I'm less important than another customer. Or tell someone you'll call right back and keep them waiting for 30 minutes. Finally i was told that parts needed to be ordered for light and I'll need to reschedule for Friday or later. Only increasing to 2 stars because shuttle driver was very polite and friendly.

The customer service here is top notch and the waiting area is amazing. Free coffee/tea/pop/juice, snacks and wifi-- plus a great space with lots of outlets. Super convenient if you have to wait while you're getting your car serviced! I got more work done there than at a coffee shop.

The service and manager were great until- On the way home at about 7 miles the low tire pressure came on. They put my snow tires on. I checked them at home and couldn t believe my readings. I drove back, unnecessary hassle, to find out I was right. Instead of 4 tires at 35 lbs they were 36, 39, 52 and 57!
Someone nicely corrected them and recalibrated. However, very little empathy was shown.

A big thanks to Mo and Tim for providing me an awesome car buying experience! Both of these employees exceeded my expectations and made this process seamless from start to finish. Mo was extremely helpful with selecting a vehicle that met all of my requirements. When I first arrived at the dealership I had a few vehicles in mind but ended up finding an even better option with Mo s help. He answered all of my questions and made the entire process very fun and enjoyable. Once I decided on a vehicle, I was passed off to Tim in the finance department. Tim did an exceptional job explaining all of the forms and answering my questions with ease. He was even willing to stay late to help me out. I feel great about my new CRV and highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

He was super smart, got me in and out super quickly and everyone was SO friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Tom Kadlec, *unless* you enjoy being blood red mad and receiving horrible service from your car professionals. :)

Horrible service here! I have never been treated so badly at a dealership before. Saw a honda accord online, went to go look at and sale person was just straight up rude. His name was Pedro, he was very disrespectful he shouted and yelled at us the whole time, doing anything he could to get us to buy the car. There were tons of scratches on the car and alignment was way off but after negotiating we were able to get them to lower the price and fix the alignment because it was hard finding the honda accord. Signed the paper and everything but as we were going over everything we noticed that we were being charged extra! Told them the deal was off and they got mad and told us to leave. Pedro wasn't the only rude person there, the guy who went over our paper at the end was super disrespectful also. His name is Max, he was going over the warranty and since my parents don't speak english that well I was helping translate for them. He was basically forcing us to sign up for the warranty that cost 2k, I told him my parents don't want it because it was too expensive. What he said next shocked me because how can you treat someone who is buying something from you like this, he got upset and straight up called us stupid and dumb for passing up on the warranty. They tried to manipulate and take advantage of us because they thought we wouldnt say anything or do anything since we didn't speak english well. Horrible place where everyone is rude including the manager in charge. Our car got hit while we were inside so we requested to look at the cameras and the manager told us no since there are people waiting for him to help them. Never going back to this place and telling everyone i know not to go here. Glad we didnt buy that car from here, found another accord the week later! Better price, lower mileage and amazing customer service. Rate this place one star only because while we were waiting they played my all time favorite childhood movie. It was the only great thing that happen that day. Don't go here guys.

My salesman was Andy and he was great to work with he answered all my questions and made sure the process went smooth from trade in to purchasing my new truck. Took our CRV in for a recall and was overall not impressed with the experience. I dropped the car off in the morning and took the shuttle to work. As I was leaving with the shuttle, the person who checked me in called after me about adding on a tire rotation for $25. Even though I talked to him minutes earlier, he couldn t seem to remember my name. Also, I came for warranty work, I don t need any add-on services. Later that day, I miss a call with no voicemail. I call back to find they wanted to replace the cabin and engine air filters. They re $100 to replace and expected to last 25k miles. My car has 14k city miles. This did not add up. I challenged this and declined and then the excuses about how this can happen if driving on gravel roads or mice get into the filter. Still did not make any sense especially to impact both filters.
I had a shuttle scheduled to get back. I was told it would pick me up at 4:05. The shuttle came 25 minutes later without even giving me a call.
Finally, I get back to Honda and they give me the bill. I had been overcharged with labor for a recall fix. Nobody seemed to double check the numbers. The charges were fixed, but still not impressed that I was the one who had to call this to their attention. The service was completed, but all of these minor issues added up quickly.

Less than TWO weeks ago I bought a 2012 GMC Terrain from Tom Kadlec Honda. Yesterday, I was commuting to work- when the vehicle started rapping high RPMs, making funky noises, and by the time I got pulled to the shoulder it had shut off. I had it towed to a local shop to get a diagnosis. THE ENGINE IS BLOWN. I have not put over 400 miles on this vehicle since it was purchased. (80 of them were to get back home from this dealer). THE DEALERSHIP WILL NOT DO ONE THING TO HELP FIX THE SITUATION! Understanding that I did not choose the dealer warranty- I expected a little more than an "I'm sorry" from them. I would not recommend this company to ANYONE. I was bounced around to several different people that were de-grading and rude, and still no solution. Purchased a $14,000 vehicle- and that is the service I get in return. STAY AWAY! "We believe the cars we offer are the highest quality and ideal for your life needs" Way to Put your foot in your mouth Tom Kadlec!

Excellent Service and Very Good Value working with Andy Gostomczik at Tom Kadlec Honda. I emailed the dealership on a Sunday (when they are closed) and received a useful reply before I woke up on Monday Morning. Exchanged several emails and by 3:30PM I was returning home with my new Honda. Spent shortest amount of time ever inside a dealership going through details and finalizing transaction and financing. Much appreciated! I am not related to Andy, nor was I acquainted with him or the dealership prior to finding them on Google on Sunday night!

Bought a used truck from here last week. Salesman called me the day I was coming to test drive it to tell me it doesn't start. There team of machines were going to fix it. Salesman called me back two days later an said it was just a dead battery. Have a email from salesman that they replaced with new one. I bought the truck took it home it sat in my grage for 5 days. Went to start it and it was dead. Now they don't want to answer my calls or email. I advise you don't buy anything from these people. Stay away from salesman named Luke an Andrew

I made a post and gave Tom Kadlec Honda 1 star. When I pressed "post" and it conveniently added more stars so it has a perfect score. This not the rating I gave it. This is rigged. They are giving themselves perfect scores.
Isn't that convenient! Because I didn't.
I want you to know this.

Well I wish I could give you 0 stars
We stopped by because we seen a few trucks from the street so we decided to take a look. We drive into the lot and stopped by a couple of trucks. Along came some salesman in a car and he got out of the car to tell us we had to leave now and they were closed. If that IS how you do business...you are not going to have customers. It would of been completely different if he said I am sorry but our office is closed but your welcome to look around and I would be happy to help you with anything you'd like on our next business day.
But THAT didn't happen.
I really want to thank you. You kicked is out on the spot and by doing so you sent us to another dealer. We purchased a nice used Chevy Silverado from "Lupent Nissan" from "Brent Stockinger". So I want you to know that I will attitude like this. I will NEVER RECOMMEND your dealership to anyone and I will NEVER purchase a vehicle from you.
People take my advise don't shop here. Go to Lupient Nissan on hwy 52 ..ask for Brent Stockinger and tell him I sent you! He WILL take care of you.
PS ...enjoy your vehicle. We sure will.

Used car buyer beware

We purchased a used car, three days later, engine light turned on. One week later we have 3 warning lights, blown door speaker, and water flowing out of door after a rain, we have owned the car less than 2 weeks.

We have not bought a used car in quite a while even when we did we have never experienced anything like this. We were offered an expensive insurance plan, which we declined. The plan covered drive train issues nothing else.

I called the dealership, left a message on answering machine to informed them of the issues we were having with our used car. I was frustrated and angry, requested my trade in and down payment back. Used Sale Manager called me back, I explained my frustration and my wish to get my old car back. I was informed my car was sold. Sales manager told me " I was going to offer to look at your car but you would not be satisfied. It is better to cut loose bad business than to deal with it"

Having the dealership look over the car was never on the table, due to my frustration and voicing that frustration. We are left repairing a car that we have had less than 2 weeks. This dealership (in our case) sells used cars that are broken then tries to sell expensive insurance plans that will not even cover certain repairs.

USED CAR BUYERS BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP.

Thanks for installing the hitch on our van! Very friendly and professional. Kept me updated on progress. One recommendation though would be to test the trailer lights after install. During installation a fuse was blown that disabled our blinkers and hazard lights. Easy to replace, but I'll have to check the trailer when hooked up to verify brake lights function

Laura was a great salesperson. She was helpful but not pushy. She accommodated any need I had. Tony was awesome and went out of his way to find a room for my wife to pump and feed our 2 month old while I did paperwork. Derrick worked hard to get me the best deal and get me a monthly payment that I was comfortable with and a warranty that covered anything that goes wrong with my new truck.
This is the third vehicle we ve bought from Tom Kadlec and we ll probably continue due to their great service

Our dealer, Andy Gostomczik, was great. Easy to work with, no pressure, friendly and helpful. I'd recommend him to everyone. We felt a little differently about the guy in the finance office (sorry, forgot his name). After turning down his repeated offers for the extended warranty, his friendly demeanor left, and we were rushed through the rest of the process without much friendliness. At one point I asked about the airbag recall issue (that's been all over the news), and he acted as though he had no idea what I was talking about.

He was the only bad spot in an otherwise good experience.

2016 - Tom Betzen did a great job of helping me order a 2017 Ridgeline. Tom answered all my questions. I had a lot of questions as this is the first Honda I have owned.

2018 - Tom Betzen help my wife and I find a 2018 Accord. My wife had some specific wants and I helped with some of the other details. Tom helped us pick out an Accord after discussing and trying a number of other Hondas. Hopefully Tom is available the next time we trade.

The issue was resolved in timely manner and I was kept informed along the way. The excellent service the team provides is honestly what keeps me coming back. I had an engine problem with my Honda minivan and anytime something major happens to my primary vehicle, I am very anxious, stressed, and worried.

Blake Reiter at Tom Kadlec Honda made me feel completely at-ease while my vehicle was in their shop. Under his care, the process was very smooth, the prices were fair, and he gave me the sense that Tom Kadlec's Honda dealership operates with integrity & pride.

I never considered getting my work done at a dealership before, but this experience will make me a return customer for future service needs and purchases.

Andy Gostomczik at Tom Kadlec Honda does a wonderful job. He is the only car salesperson I have ever worked with who I felt genuinely wanted to get my business selling me a vehicle that I was interested in at a fair price. I drove from La Crosse and within one hour I had test driven the car, filled out the proper paperwork and was on my way home in a great car. Can't say enough about how pleased I am . Overall had a great time! I worked with a few different people but Missy Holt really pulled everything together for me. She was great to work with and really took the time to make sure I was comfortable with everything before I left the store. I walked in not expecting much, and walked out with a van that had more then I could have asked for! The transaction was smooth and very easy! I will be going back to Tom Kadlec for my future cars and sending my friends there too! Thanks guys!

We were greeted as soon as we walked in by Jose Pagan, who carefully listened to what we were looking for in a vehicle. He asked questions to better understand our needs and then proceeded to take us through all the features of the 2016 Honda Pilot. He was very knowledgeable of the product and answered all of our questions, which was in sharp contrast to our experience at a competitor. Jose's respectful demeanor and professionalism were a factor in our decision to purchase the Pilot and he, along with Matt and Dan, created an atmosphere of a relaxed and pleasant car buying experience.

I recently bought a new care at Tom Kandlec Honda and the experience was very positive.
I contacted them by email first and Andy Gostomczik called me immediately and helped me the whole way from there. The process of buying the car was seamless and hassle-free, totally unlike previous experiences I had in other dealerships that still maintain the prototypical bargaining attitude.
They ordered the car with the specifications I wanted, Andy contacted me when it arrived even before we expected it, and was very accommodating to my work schedule to arrange the pick-up visit. When I went, he had all the paperwork ready and I was out of the dealership in less than one hour with everything signed and very clear explanations about the car and when to expect the new license.
I highly recommend the dealership in general and Andy Gostomczik in particular for an actually pleasant car-buying experience.

Excellent service from this dealer. I got a great deal on a clean used Ridgeline that I'm very happy with. From my observation, they did everything within budget to make this vehicle run like new and safe to drive. What I mean is they'll change brakes, tires, fluids, bed strap cables if it's inoperable or unsafe. When I mentioned that the brakes were a bit mushy, the salesman (Neal Moen) wanted to take care of this issue before I drive off the lot. They had 2 techs bleed the brakes, change front brake pads, and end up changing the brake booster. Other dealers would have written these things off as normal wear and tear or that's what you get with a vehicle this old.

Worst customer service! I just moved from Louisiana. I needed to change the oil and needed the mount bracket for my front licence plate. I went there first time and every thing went well. My advisor told me that he will order mounting bracket and will call me. I did not get call from him after that. I had to call. After the call, he told me that it is here in the shop and I can go there on Saturday and they will mount for me. I went there Saturday and talked to other advisor because he was off that day. Another advisor said, my all guys are busy today and we can't able to anything and you don't even to make appointment if you come anytime between 8-5. I left shop with mounting bracket. This is how you treat customer when they are from out state and did not buy vehicle from your shop.

Zach liaised with us as we considered various new and used models. He was never pushy but always available. When work made it difficult to schedule things on our end, he was always flexible. Maybe the best part is that the initial price offer made by Zach and Tom Kadlec was more competitive than any of the other 15 dealerships we had spoken with. Do yourself a favor and go straight to Zach if you're in the market for a new or used car..... we sure will.

During the Covid19 I was still working and started to save up for a truck I wanted. Then my place shut down but money was still coming in. I had ok credit but they worked with me and didnt give up finding a bank to accept me. Needless to say i got into a truck i love so much and it still smells brand new. I got exceptional help and got treated like everyone else who had more money. They are friendly and caring. I will definitely go back for our second truck. Thank you guys.

Just had an oil change, but they also performed a multi-point inspection and reported everything accurately (there were a few items I knew needed attention before the visit). The wait was pleasant due to the wi-fi, large screen TV, and complimentary array beverages. They also accepted the online coupon which softens the bite from the pocketbook (every little bit helps, right?).

My Husband and I have been loyal Honda owners for a while now and we have had the best experience both times we have been here. We brought our puppy this last time because the pup sitter was off and this was a last minute thing. Anna watched Sophie while we test drove and everyone else there loved up on her as well. It made us comfortable with bringing her along. Andy does absolutely everything to make it a great experience and is wonderful to work with. We will always suggest Tom Kadlec Honda. Thank you!!!

We had been shopping a while for a car. Found our new Tucson on line and decided to take the trip to Rochester to check it out. Best decision we ever made! The variety of vehicles they carry was incredible and it allowed us to see a few other vehicles we had looked at side by side which really helped in the decision. James was fantastic! Great personality and very knowledgeable. It felt like we were buying a car from an old friend we had known forever. The entire dealership had a great atmosphere and you could tell the entire team enjoyed their job and working together. Julio helped us with a great extended warranty plan. Probably the best car buying experience we have ever had (and we have had many). Until now we have also never recommended a dealership -- we have already told people we know looking for cars to head to Tom Kadlec! And be sure to ask for James!!

I started bringing my car here when it was new just because I wanted to make sure if there was ever a problem that should be covered by the warranty that it would be clear I had done all the right service. My car has been out of warranty for years now, and I continue to come because I have always felt everyone I've dealt with has been so honest, fair, reasonable, and helpful.

I found a vehicle I was interested in on the internet and contacted Tom Kadlec Honda. Andy Gostomczik immediately responded to my email. I asked for the sale price of the Honda Ridgeline I was interested in and Andy responded with a price $2900 below MSRP. Some other Honda dealers I contacted won t give me a sale price over the internet. I set up a time to come into the dealership to drive a Ridgeline. Andy had his associate Luke Schaffer go for a test drive with me. Luke and Andy worked as a team to make sure my buying experience was a positive experience. They gave me a fair price for the vehicle I traded in based on Kelly Blue Book not auction pricing like some other dealers. At no time did I feel pressured to complete the transaction and the buying experience was pleasant for a change.

Bought 3 used vehicles on Schyler s advise. 2 had issues immediately and had to be brought back for service. Pretty sure the absolute minimum was provided as they both needed service soon after. I was assured by Schyler that it would be taken care of but nothing was. Soon after I brought my car to MY mechanic and they couldn t believe it had ever been looked at. The exhaust was made up from a system from a different car. That s the service you re getting. Buy new.

Second time getting a new car! Schyler was awesome! When he told us he is new, I would have never guessed that.
