Based on all the sterling reviews, I am sure that for the most part TLC does good work. However, I was scheduled to have a plumber come out today between 12 and 5 to deal with a substantial root intrusion. At 5:05 when no one had shown up I called the office. Receptionist said she would check with the tech??? Tech called at 5:15??? Is this the time to tackle a job like this. I waited all afternoon from 12 to 5 ...If you are going to be late...is it too much to ask to have enough courtesy to call and update the customer? When I initially called I informed them that this was a substantial root incursion and that I wanted it cleared..the source located and repaired. I informed them this was not an emergency since all other drains are working fine. Is after five in the evening the right time to tackle this job?... BTW no one offered any type of apology for being late and not even attempting to update the customer. TLC might be taking on too much of a workload at the expense of customer service.
