Very nice, clean hotel. FreshCo is right next door, Domino's and other fast food places all within a minute drive.

The waterpark could be a bit warmer. It's fairly small, but it doesn't seem that kids care.

Towels provided by the waterpark are more like napkin-sized, so I'd suggest bringing your own.

Very nice arcade with plenty of games.

Hotel was great, poor transit service unrelated to the hotel stay.

It's the smallest of all three water parks in Niagara. So if you are going with 7 years old or over, they most likely get bored very shortly. But a great place for younger ones.

First time at Americana and not impressed. Carpet was torn, bedsheets were wrinkly, microwave was so loud and I found a bug in the bathtub. I might try it again but not anytime in the future. The water park is small and the smell of chlorine was overwhelming.

Water park was a hit with the kids. Kids over 7 may be looking for more to do though.

I always think that in an area lile lunys lane its hard to have that upscale classy feel, and americana sure tries there best when it comes to their ballroom. The service was decent. We got food. Thats probably why it was decent. The food was mediocre. It was surely edible and tasted fine but it wasnt memorable. The food platters were...okay...they had cold cuts and squishy olives. I dont know it threw me off a bit. The tables center peices were strange ( they were blocks of glass that you'd see in like a bathroom window) and the dessert was so cold that i got indigestion because i was so frantic to swallow it as fast as i could. My table had asked for ketchup and we recieved it. But part of me wondered if there was only one bottle in the entirety of the americana because another table also wanted some ketchup, so one of the servers decided to take the ketchup from our table and give it to them. On another note, our group was a little larger than the tabkes were set to accomidate (there were 8 settings on each table and our group was a group of 10) so we decided to move some plates over to the other table so we could all sit together. Unfortunately, we were told by one of the servers that we were allowed to move the seats over but not the plates and our members would have to move back to the other table when the food came around (which was a majority of the night). I thought it was very strange considering that the table they were taking things from was right beside the table we had all chosen to sit at. So the problem was not the serving of food. I dont see where the inconvienience could arise. Ive worked at a restaurant myself and i had never run into a problem such as that unless it was that the customers felt too cramped, and thats their problem for cramping the table not mine. Anyways, it looked nice there and we gad a lot of fun none the less so i give it three stars. I wouldnt go there again for a christmas party or anything. Not fun or appealing enough.

We're currently staying here for the night, and although the kids had fun at the waterpark, trying the put them to bed has been an issue. There's a baseball team running up and down our hallway yelling, screaming, and singing. The parents are just as bad. I expect some noise with a hotel geared toward families, but this is ridiculous. I'd question about team bookings before scheduling.

Originally I had rated a 2, but I'm dropping it down to a 1. Apparently the hallway around our room (239) is an acceptable hangout place for an entire baseball team with siblings and parents. Noise didn't stop until after midnight and started right back up around 6 AM.

Great hotel but very rude guests. We were awakened every single night by late night temper tantrums that spilled into the hallway and turned into screaming. The breakfast buffet also left a lot to be desired considering the price. The restaurant and spa were great with amazing service, however. Kids enjoyed the waterpark although the pictures made it seem larger than it was.

Pool was great. But not the rest of it. Expensive parking to consider when staying here in addition to room cost. Less than ideal room cleanliness, several individuals in our group fell ill the following day, one with an allergic reaction of some kind. Don't intend to return

Staff was friendly and professional. Room was clean. My issues were during arrival and departure the hallways had garbage bags and smelled. The hot tub's chlorine level was too high and it irritated my eyes. At night the pool water temperature dropped 3 degrees below normal (confirmed by staff) and the locker room area was cramped. Other than that. My family enjoyed themselves.

Boston pizza food was good but service could improve the food came up 5 minutes apart so wait some guest go there food the other had to wait as result so got hot food some got cold

Worst motel ever, the person at the check in counter was very rude when they realized that they had no rooms left but we had a confirmation email stating that we were booked, then they tried to tell us that we are booked for the day after....when we finally got a room the door would not open and when we finally got it opened the doorknob almost fell off. The television in room only had 1 channel and even then the remote does not work.

Americana Waterpark Resort and Spa was very nice. It is located in Niagara Falls Canada, and the spa is very lovely. The Waterpark is also so much fun. I really enjoyed my visit to Americana Waterpark Resort and Spa.

Don't waste your time at this place. myself and my son got sick from the disgusting state of the water in the pool..yuk!
Also in the morning we went for breakfast and they make you pay upfront before you even get in the door..2 adults and two kids later 55$ ,oh and they ask for a tip before you experience the service..that's right!
So ,as I go and check out they slam a 15$ parking fee in my face to top it off .
I'm sure your kids may have fun but I'm sure you'll need a vacation after staying at this joke of a place...don't say I didn't warn you.

The rooms were clean, but very humid. The water park was great fun for the kids and the service was fast.

Not as comfortable beds as other hotels. Great waterpark for kids 4-11 years old. My 2 year old didn't like it that much but I could see him liking it as he gets older. A good arcade.

Room was fantastic. Friendly staff. If you are looking for a good family retreat with kids this is the place. The water park is the perfect size for kids under 12. On site Boston pizza then even delivers to your room.

Just went for Xmas party. Have never stayed in hotel part. Would imagine that everything is excellent. It looked clean and fancy.

My family stayed her for the first time over mothers day weekend!!! To say my kids had an amazing time is an understatement!!! I was extremly happy with the room and the beds were super comfy!!! Loved the waterpark, a little smaller then I expected however it was very easy to keep track of my kids!!! Definitly will come back and highly recommended!!!

Dated and old needs an overhaul. Stay at great wolf lodge if you are coming for the water park. Water park is not very big and when we were there half the rides were closed.

$15 for parking in a huge lot in a remote location where nobody would want to park without paying. It's not like the Falls or Casino are next door.

I've paid less to park next to those attractions.

Clean, friendly service. Food good but the breakfast was the exact same thing every day. Also no sweets or hot cereal or yogurt which I am used to for a continental breakfast.

Senses Spa very well trained staff, wide variety of treatments! Fun place for girls day/evening out!

We stayed on a saturday. Requested a late check out. That was not granted. Rooms are dirty we found bugs. When showed to the morning manager. She played it as if we were overreacting. She said oh thats a silver fish there common.
Pay 20$ for parking is kind of an abuse. When u can park in middle of niagara for less.
Not coming back. This park would not survive. It be out of business in The states.

We visited Summer 2017 as a family of 3 - two adults and a 2 year old. This waterpark was perfect for us! The accommodations were great, the onsite Boston Pizza was good (although slow - go early!), and it was a quick drive to the falls. We will go back again!

Great place to take younger kids, Waterpark is on the smaller side and doesn't offer as much or as large in comparison to other nearby Waterparks. Room were fantastic and well kept, we got a free upgrade and received a larger room with a separate area with bunk beds and a kitchenette with large dining table. Hotel staff were overall good, not the friendliest but got their job done. Overall hotels was very clean and lots of services available for your stay with little or no need to venture out of the hotel for other essentials. I will definitely go back and would recommend.

This place is a gem. The water park is small, but they made great use of the space they had and it's still very fun. They heated the water to a good temperature so that it was comfortable to use the water park.

Room very large and correct for cleanliness. It can even be 6. Small balcony. The beds are rather soft. The water games and the arcade were very much appreciated. About 10 minutes drive from the falls. We would stay there again.

Great park for kids! There is enough to keep the kids busy without it being to big you lose track of them. There was also plenty of lifeguards at the waterpark which is very comforting!

The water park is great for younger kids, my kids have been here for two times, and they love the water fun, especially the water slides. The only thing that isn't that great is their stateroom. The renovation seems outdated and doesn't have a very clean feeling. The lobby and hallways are also need me renovation. Overall, given the price I paid (Groupon deal), it's a good family getaway trip.

Usually crowded with kids. Small place with about three water slides and a wave pool.

Had an amazing Christmas work party here. The food and entertainment was great and the service was impeccable.

Rooms were great beds were comfy, could have had better pillows though. Water park was fun as well and service was amazing.

I have been to the Amerciana a couple of times. We have been for wedding and for the waterpark. The wedding took place on New Years Eve. It was amazing and out of this world fun. The bride spared no expense. A fun filled night. The staff especially at the bar was fun to chat with, friendly and knowledge with their spirits. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

was there for a grade 8 grad (Heximer) was very nice snacks afterwards and a great meal at Boston Pizza. This has always been a great spot to visit . We appreciate all the work done.

Great place for families. Waterpark is awesome but can sometimes be filled with a lot of younger kids. Rooms are always very clean and have comfy beds with nice pillows. Arcade is okay not a lot of games but still fun. There is also a boston pizza location which is very good. Great place for getaways to Niagara Falls for reasonable price. This is our go to place in Niagara.

We went for family time and it was very successful. A baby crib was brought in quickly. Our extended family stayed for Saturday night March 5 providing two days in the water park. We took rooms for the 3 families. Kids ages 3 to 9 had a great time. Comments? Would have been nice to have shampoo and conditioner. Not even hand soap offered. Only in the shower a gel dispenser on the shower wall. Rooms good size and nicely appointed. Water park great. Far better value than wolf Lodge according to my son who has been there also. I would have liked to have seen the lifeguards in a safety vest color instead of blend in to the crowd dark blue. In an emergency you'd have difficulty finding one in the crowds. Take seriously the notices to shower off well after. Maybe even during the day. Unlike a typical pool where you are in for an hour you are in and out for hours so our kids with sensitive skin developed minor rashes the next day from the chlorine or whatever it is. Overall don't hesitate to go. One night 2 days was perfect. My oldest was bored by a couple hours into the 2nd day whcih fit our plans.

A bit overpriced. We paid the same amount to stay at the hotel in the Rogers Centre the night before. When we pulled out the sofa bed for my son, the sheets were stained and dirty! Ridiculous that they charge $15 for an outdoor parking lot (that should be included in the price). Check in wasn't until 4 and the water park closed at 9. By the time we got settled and went for supper, there wasn't much time to enjoy the water park (it was WAY too crowed for my boys anyways). Hotel is quite dated. Fan didn't work properly in the bathroom and AC unit kept turning off and didn't keep room cool at all. Not sure why we were charged a $17 "Resort Fee?" Best part was that Boston Pizza is attached so at least we enjoyed a nice supper! Would not stay there again.

Clean property. breakfast was overpriced for what you got, this would have been a free breakfast most other hotels. Mattresses were sagging and squeaky.

Great indoor water park even if it's just for the day. Great service food was great kids love it great for the entire family.

This place needs some new management and a serious face-lift. Very very dated. Beds are disgusting. Only thing decent was the pool.

Fields the restaurant looks good, but the food was not that good. They served us spoiled fruits. Who's knows what else they put in the other food and drinks they put out. Poor quality. Better off going to Mc Donald's.

We are coming to Americana since 2014 at least 3 times per year, we stay between 1-3 nights; the problem I am having with the hotel is that they never let us do late check out. Not once. We came in yesterday, I heard a front desk employee allow someone else check out at 12, I asked for that too and she said no, its different situation . I called this morning the front desk and asked again, they said no. This will be our last time staying in Americana for that reason. I will not spend my money here anymore.

Loved that I didn't have to leave the jotell for anything , not even to eat as there is a Boston pizza as well.

Rooms were very well kept. The Boston Pizza inside of the building was great for dinner as well as for room service. Kids loved water park and it was very safe.

Waves waterpark was our second choice on Family Day weekend. Our first stop was the Fallsview waterpark who refused to honour their local residents discount on the long weekend. Waves on the other hand, was more than happy to do so. For the simple fact that Waves does not try to gouge the people that keep them in business during the offseason they get a good review. The kids had a blast as always. We usually visit 4-5 times per year and wanted to switch it up. No more. We'll just keep heading back to the Americana. Thanks for taking care of the people in your community.

A nice place where you can be comfortable and relaxed

The personnel was very nice and the deals they have rone of the best.
My wife found the place and we were really happy with the stay.
Kids loved it too.

Josh at check-in was very helpful and friendly he lined up a visit for the wife at spa. He is a 5 star team member. Amanda at the oasis grill at the water park is another 5 star member she was super friendly and helpful as well. Both these people went well beyond the normal and gave service with a smile. The wife said the girls at spa were very nice as well. Your hotel is a great place to go. I know it's hard to stay on top of things our only hangup was we missed our housekeeping and had to ask for clean towels. I saw a maid in the hall and she was happy to help out. She checked her list and our room was not on it. No big deal. It all worked out fine. Thanks for great holiday.

Have been here before with great experience but it seems they have lost the quality of service now. The room we got was not clean ( There were hair in the sink all over), we we're 5 people and the room we got was identified as good for 5 people on the website and at the front desk when we check in but there was only space for 4 people, the 5th person had to sleep on the floor. At the restaurant for Morning breakfast, the cups and plates were all dirty. The server had to remove all the cups and plates when identified. The management seem to be not interested in looking into it and just apologies for the inconveniences. 2 stars just because kids had fun in the water park.

Nice, but a little overpriced. The waterpark is small, good if you have kids but that's it. Parking is not included. Also, NEVER use HotWire to book a hotel room.

Outdated in need of major renovations, especially the rooms. Mattress not very comfortable had a hard time falling asleep.

The place was good but not great. We went for the waterpark and it wasn't bad at all but the landings for the waterslides did smell something fierce. The arcade was great for the kids though they loved it

Water park is an absolute blast! Well maintained and always an enjoyable experience. Easy location to find in a tourism city. Warm welcome and would definitely recommend!

- If you're buying deals on Groupon, make sure prices are set in CAD. Every now and then, they're set in USD.
- Be ready to pay some sort of a service fee at the hotel if you buy passes to the waterpark on Groupon.
- Groupon passes to the waterpark are often valid on weekdays only.
