Called front desk about rowdy neighbors and nothing was done. Should have books in shower to hang wet bathing suits in rooms and public washroom showers should have books and curtains

Great place.... good selection of park slides for being indoor.

We have always gone there and overall was nice. NowThey started checking bags at the entrance and overall makes you feel like airplain security rather than fan with the kids. The lady that was at the front wasnt very polite either. Gave limited directions and when i looked surprised that they do this now look at me like i was saying nonsence. The waterpark inside felt cooler than i remember. Me and my boys were shivering I did address this with the supervisor inside and it seemed to get better. Overall, i think i will start looking at other waterparks in the area as an alternative.

Water park was nice. Rooms weren't sound proof. A little overpriced and charge for little things that other hotels give complimentary

We just got back from our family summer vacation to Niagara Falls. We absolutely had a blast at the indoor Waterpark at this hotel. I would highly recommend it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Boston pizza never disappoints. The beds were very comfortable, but the decor was a little outdated. The second floor rooms are the only rooms that have a balcony. The first and third floor only have windows so you cannot go outside.
This is definitely a kid/family friendly resort. Not a place to go to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. There was always kids running up and down the hallways at all hours of the day and night and going in and out of their rooms banging doors. There is lots to do with the kids and the location was very convenient. If you are on a tight budget and want to save a bit of money you can buy snacks or a few groceries at Freshco that is conveniently located right next door to the hotel. Although we had a fabulous trip, the only thing that I was not happy with was the fact that you have to pay an additional fee of $20+tax per night on top of your room rate for parking. This is just ridiculous!!! Parking should be included in the cost of the room seeing it is far enough away from the main tourist areas.

If your room isn't ready you can go to water park until it is finished getting ready for you and your family personal my 2 son's are under 5 and they enjoyed the water park my cousin and her family were with me also and they have to older son's 7 and 8 and we're asking to due other stuff around the area like arcade gaming area but also went swimming but didn't see much of tbem. I ended up getting a room with 2 queen beds and it was very spacious and they also supplied a playpen for my younger son but recommend bring your own blackets for playpen. We rented a Cabana that was awesome to have your own area with server you got t.v fridge and over looking the whole pool area that was awesome.The staff is very friendly hotel & poolside they are very helpful when needed they definitely got alot of good deals going on at Americana I forsure will be a return customer!!

Only used the water park area. Had 3 pools and 4 slides plus a spash pad area. Great place to go for the day plus open year round.

This hotel was extremely dated and not very clean. We stayed here as a family of four after staying after staying at great wolf lodge. It was extremely disappointing. The pictures on the website were not even close to representing reality. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. I would never stay here again.

I liked the room and service but the water park could have been bigger

Great for younger kids...it is a small waterpark not close to anything but it was great with my two young kids. Slides they can ride and a nice pool with waves was all they needed. Small arcade section was great for my oldest too. The section for babies had all that the younger ones needed plus water was extra warm. Nothing fancy but it did the trick.

The manager has a terrible attitude and it seems she treats her staff like dirt

I had a very negative experience with one of the reception clerk. Her attitude was very very unprofessional and lacking customer service. She made me feel unwelcome ( the women with short blonde hair ) she needs to fine another line of work.

The kids had a blast. It was clean and our room was ready early. I liked the layout of the suite. Its not a resort like some of the expensive waterparks but it was a fun one night getaway. The waterpark includes a pool, wave pool, hot tub, 4 waterslides and a splashpad style play structure.

This place makes you feel like you've had a mini trip down south. You can walk from your room to the waterpark/arcade/restaurants which is great during the winter as you can wear shorts and flip flops everywhere you go without having to deal with the cold.
The waterpark is clean and there are a ton of lifeguards that take their job very seriously. If you want, you can sit back and have a drink/food (in the water parks assigned section which is very large) and read a book while the kids run around. It's small enough that you can always see your kids running around, but large enough that they don't get bored.
Rooms are clean and I've had a balcony each time I've gone - which I think will be great for the summer as you can sit out there after making a meal (you have a mini-fridge and microwave in the room) and just relax until you want to go back to the water or hit the arcade!

Our stay was horrible. My son ended up getting hurt when the ladder from the bunk bed fell off. Their front desk manager told me that's how they were designed and they were meant to fall. We ended up having to leave early the next day because his leg he hurt was too sore to enjoy the water park.

The chlorine levels were near toxic... my eyes are still burning hours later, and I never even put my eyes under... fun otherwise though.. my kiddos had a blast..

Hotel service was great and provided amenities for everyone of age. Waterpark area was clean and managed accordingly to maintain a safe capacity including social distancing. Announcements were made over the speaker system to remind guests to keep masks on general areas. Some guest don't follow rules which is not the fault of the hotel. Overall a very positive environment and a great stay. We will definitely return.

Good indoor fun only 1 concern lot of chlorin in the water

the lady at the front was SO rude. she has no respect for the customers and doesn t care about our feelings. needs proper customer service training. the prices are too high & VERY dirty. i would give it a 0 if i could. never coming back.

Room was not ready even though we arrived well after check in time. However, Judy was nice enough to upgrade the room and give us free parking. The room was not ready for another 30 minutes and we even met staff still in the room upon arrival. The staff had to come back in to vacuum and it really had me second guessing the 5 minutes they said the previous guests were in our rooms. The bathtub was disgusting so we took showers with our water shows on. The sinks were dirty and we found someone's panty In the kids bunk area. It was disgusting! The water at the water park could have been warmer. The kids were shivering the entire time. We weren't allowed late check out to make up for the time shortened by having to wait for the room. The coupons we got were for places off-site and the one for the spa we couldn't use because they never answered the phone and we had to check out. Would I stay here again? No, but I would give 3 stars because the price was ok and Judy was pleasant.

Rooms are big and spacious, water park was great for my 3 and 6 year old kids. Overall, great time.

Parking rates per day was outrageous, fire alarm going off twice in the middle of the night. You can hear all the sounds from others because the walls are so thin. <br/>You would think from the extra money they receive from parking they would invest it more wisely into their hotel. Pool is definitely for you kids. Arcade staff is obnoxious and not people friendly. Machine runs out of tickets and when we tell them, they literally rolled their eyes till they seen me take pictures then they came forward with a voucher for missing tickets. Wallpaper falling off walls and mould behind it. Disappointment is nothing compared to how we feel.

Nice place to stay and nice waterpark. Wish they had a full size pool though.

Rooms were clean. Waterpark is smaller but great for younger kids.

Good rates, friendly staff, and the water park fun and easily accessible. We enjoyed our stay here and the arcade is cost effective for those with kids.

We took our kids to enjoy the indoor waterpark and it was very nice. The water was warm the water was clean and staff was fantastic. The only this i can complain about was there was a bit too much chlorine in the water. The room was nice and clean no complaints. Would definitely go back for the price well worth it.

We just returned from a trip to Niagara Falls. We stayed at Americana and overall it was a good hotel.

Water Park- Our child really enjoyed the water park. It was supposed to be kids month with special characters to meet and greet during the each day but we only saw one at the end of our stay. Our child was a little disappointed but not a big deal.

The room-Clean and comfortable but the bathroom was tiny. The wifi was horrible. We turned off the data on our phones to avoid international roaming fees and the wifi would work some times and stop at other times. There was no rhyme or reason for it.

The area- It is located about a ten minute drive from the falls, so you need transportation (although you can take the bus). The neighborhood is filled with places to eat and a grocery store that is walking distance. There is an outlet mall not to far from the hotel also.

Overall I would stay there again, because of the water park. We liked that we had built in entertainment after we finished with sight seeing in the area.

Location is fairly close to all amenities and the Falls. Rooms are average for the price. WiFi is available but spoty. The Waterpark is fun and the kids have lots to do but there are better waterparks in Niagara

Excellent resort. The water park is great! And the hotel staff is very accommodating. They are also very involved in the local minor sports associations with sponsorships and hotel team discounts.

Way smaller then the pics show. Staff was good.....but NOT enough of them by far. For a place that charges 45 per person....that's unacceptable. The slides and pools had to be rotated with staff so if the water slides were open the wave pool didnt work. If the slides were open it was rafts or body not both together. My LO couldn't do body due to size but my big one didnt want to do rafts. I didnt like that if one part was working...something else had to be shut down not fair to people who paid to use the park how they see fit but instead how it was dictated. Had I been aware of this we would have paid more for great wolf. I'm disappointed. Still a decent time was had by kids.

Water park is big and beautiful! Tho it's not so big that you eyes on the kids in second flat :) Very clean and friendly , lots of staff around to assist. Would stay again in a second. Both my teenagers and 3 yr old had a blast and that's a big age gap to statisfy. Worth every penny!

We brought our 3 year old and she absolutely loved it. It is probably perfect for 3 to 8 years old. Not too many slides for adults but it was so easy to keep line of sight on our child while she was in the toddler pool and playing on the structures. The restaurant at the pool was pretty good for Beach style food. Chicken fingers and fries. Burgers. Hot dogs etc. Our room was a little dated but was quite spacious and clean. There was bed protectors on both beds so that definitely helps with cleanliness. The wifi was pretty solid and we were able to use a firestick for pre bed time tv time.

The place where americana kind of let us down was in the breakfast buffet at the fields. For the price it felt like a cheap continental breakfast instead of a great dining experience.

Over all if you compare americana to Great Wolf you are doing yourself a disservice as we will definitely return until our kid is old enough to take advantage of the much larger water parks

Location was clean, water park was in good working order and clean as well. Lots of lifeguards and they made sure kids obeyed the height restrictions

We brought our 2 year old here for the water park. She had a great time. The room was clean and comfortable.

Beautiful place, water park was really nice, little small but, felt better. Short line ups, my kids are older kids 13, 11 and 9 but, still enjoyed it alot. For sure will come backup for another visit :)

the adult pool is very small, kids pool is very small as well. it is nothing compared to skyline. the breakfast buffet did not even have bacon for $15 a person. there aren't many slides for kids. the water is very dirty. people didn't shower before getting into the pool. food is over priced. they held a $100 DEPOSIT at check-in and 4 days passed in counting has not released it. the bathtub had a centipede which scared the hell out of me. never again!!!

Excellent budget friendly waterpark overnight accommodation with arcade, food and entertainment

Old buildings. The bathroom is poor and the hot water comes out late.

Was here for a wedding and overnight stay. The room was large, clean, and we'll equipped; I always appreciate a proper blackout blind for those hungover mornings. Mini fridge in the room helped keep the drinks cold. The place is large and and a bit mazy, but the staff are friendly and helpful. There's a Boston Pizza right inside the hotel which is nice if you want dinner/drinks, and there's also a bar at the back near the water park with an adults only hot tub area. There's a large green space and park in the back which we setup and had a picnic with snacks and drinks; this was done easily with a Freshco right next door! The wedding was nicely done, the washrooms we're good and clean, the wait staff and bartenders were very nice. A lot of families seemed to be vacationing there with younger children due to the water park (didn't use this but it looked pretty good). Overall we enjoyed our stay and time here! I was pleasently surprised at the quality and size of the place. One criticism comes to mind: when we asked for a late check-out the front desk gave us 20 minutes, usually they give you an hour. Not a big deal really.

Small water park, but fun. Pretty far from the falls.

We had a fantastic time! 3 kids 11, 5 and 3. My 3 year old was big enough to ride the big slides and tubes (by 1/4 of an inch). He loved it! All kids had fun in their own way. Basketball hoops in the water, wave pool and small and big slides. It was great for the kids! The price was unbeatable, we got a 2 bedroom suite for all of us. I would recommend this and we will be back. Btw the no frills next door was very handy!

Kids love the place, but it is just an average hotel with a small water park attached. Don't plan on spending all day in the water - they warn you on arrival of higher than normal chlorine levels, and it is definitely highly concentrated.

Was an amazing family friendly resort! My husband and I took my daughter,my step daughter and their friend for my daughters birthday. Everything was perfect From the arcade to the water park to the outdoor basketball court and park. They even announced fun things over the p.a. Such as a basketball tournament for the kids. Bingo upstairs for guests. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had. Will deffinitely be returning Thank you for a great experience

Great place to take kids (8 or under) for the water park. Fields buffet breakfast is meh.

Nice small water park for little kids. Room with two queens still felt very small. Seems clean, friendly staff. Still a bit pricey considering distance from Clifton Hills and falls take the shuttle bus and leave the car at the hotel.

If you want bed bugs and meth and crack heads this is the place for you and oh doesn't change the sheets

The stay was nothing extraordinary. The hotel rooms are out of date, and doesn't allow for people to plug into the HDMI ports of the TVs that are there. We brought our kids to Niagara as a small two day vacation. The park was fun for them for a couple hours but run out fast with a single small wave pool, two one person water slides, and two tube water slides. Unfortunately we didn't know that there was a height restriction on some of the slides, which led to us having to go down the tube slide with our one child. Was disappointed with the internet connection, as I had a video conference call first thing in the morning - about 6am - and was barely able to keep a connection at 3mbs. Which made for a difficult work morning, until the internet crashed altogether around 8am. The hotel is in a less busy part of the city and is about 10 minutes from downtown. Parking cost about $17 and allowed us to come and go as we pleased. Be warned, parking is first come first served. There are no dedicated spots. Breakfast is terribly expensive, and consisted of instant eggs, bacon, fruits, yogurt, and some other options. Over all, it wasn't a terrible time, but I dont think we will be back again.

It s a bargain version of great wolf lodge. The arcade was mostly not working, ate tokens or didn t give tickets. The kids enjoyed the water park

Its good for kids under 9 imo based on the size and water park rides.... for the price, its well worth it for a family getaway.

The pictures and description online do not match what we walked into. We are staying 2 nights as a family of 4 for our daughters 11th birthday present. We unfortunately went through groupon and cannot get our money back. Even though there is a water park inside the hotel we purchased tickets with the sheraton waterpark so that our family could enjoy our daughters birthday. When we first walked into the wave pool a child vomited and we needed to leave. Never again will we stay here. Were here until Friday morning disgusted and wishing we stayed else where.

Great family hotel! Rooms are nice, average for it's price range. Close enough to the tourist area without being right in the most $$$ part of town, less than 10min away. Access to indoor waterpark included. Water park is big enough but not so big your scared to lose your kids. Water temp perfect, I really appreciated the hot tub! Next time the kids want a longer stay.

Facilities were great. The kids lived the water park. The rooms were not cleaned properly. Bathroom sink had calcified substance around the faucet and the room carpet was poorly vacuumed, if it was. The staff were friendly. I would use the water park again, but less likely to sleepover again.

Great affordable place to take the little ones. I would recommend this park for kids 2-8. They have a smaller variety of slides and activities then at other parks. The toddler/preschool area is small, but the kids loved it. They only have one infant area and they are some swings in the water. Mostly the preschoolers spend time putting toys in them. It would be nice if they extended that area to have a soft mat section with some sprayers or smaller slides. I do not recommend this park for older kids as there are only a handful of large water slides and a small arcade, for a one night stay they would have enough to entertain them, but I wouldn't do multiple days for the older ones. My kids were 3.5 and 5 when we went and they really enjoyed themselves. We did not enjoy having to run from the playground side of the park with our youngest who loved that and our daughter who preferred the more subdued preschool slides. Those activities are on opposite sides of the park and it left us parents tackling a child each instead of hanging out together. All and all the rooms were great with plenty of space. We were with two other families and we appreciated being able to congregate in one room. The Boston pizza was great for the kids and very accommodating, the staff was friendly and everything was very clean.

Such a really fun place . The aqua park and the rooms are very nice . Love to go there . The staff is friendly specially Linda . Sure I recomend it . Worth the money

This resort needs some TLC. The water park was pretty good but the change rooms were ice cold! Not ideal for soaking wet toddlers. Our bed was as hard as a rock! Glad we decided to only stay one night.

Water park if you can call it that is VERY small. 2 small tube rides and 2 body slides, a small pool and small kids play area. Hotel is very basic.

I will never ever recommand this dirty place to no one...i will never ever coming back. To the hotel. Im so mad i paid $321 for hotel with water park to stay. And $150 for food. Plus my kids get kicked out from pool..for 2 hour played they were not happy at all. They never respect a disiblity person.

This place was disgusting! Don't waste your time or money going here ! The rooms smelled so bad, the Waterpark was a joke , the lines were so long you had to wait over an hour , the "hot tub" is completely ridiculous. We ended up getting our money back after two hours of being there , and headed to splash lagoon. It's a further ride but much better , Great Wolf lodge is great too .

The hotel and waterpark staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure that my wife and I and our children had a great time.

I was only there for a one night stay, but it was still a nice room. Everything was clean, the place had sufficent space, and there was a Boston Pizza available (didn't use it)

Attended a graduation event. It was beautiful and we'll kept. Staff were excellent. Wonderful experience

Best waterpark in the Niagara region for younger kids because it's warm and cozy.

Decent service, not much meat in the meal, gluten free chicken was very salty but cooked well. Creme brulee was absent of brulee. DJ was out of touch with the party but likely not chosen by venue so can't fault them for that. Bar service was good.

Some rooms are larger than others, could use some updating. The waterpark is decent however the chlorine is very strong (as they indicate in the brochure).

Was here for a one-day conference so my review only refers to the conference experience.

The morning coffee was good and the pastries were nice. The conference venue had very good audio-visual equipment with no problems throughout.

The lunch buffet was a high point - excellent salad options and a very tasty vegetarian soup!

The water park was nice but the hotel could have been nicer. Holes in the ceiling. No breakfast.

Our second time around we stayed 3 nights. not happy. There wont be a third visit

We had a great time! My children loved Waterpark and special events during December 31st and January 1st.

Plenty of rooms, very comfortable bedding, water park is a small but still fun to go to, haven't tried the food but there are many places to get food from around the area.

Stayed overnight and the accommodations we're fine, enjoyed the inside water park and had breakfast the next day. The breakfast buffet was average.

If you get the Groupon for the indoor water park, totally worth it. Food sucks though.

My room with my family had a minor glitch in the hotel room... the technician and MANAGEMENT was there right away.... Ian was excellent and RESOLVED the issue fast...Ian should be recognized for excellent service he provides
