we went on a Tuesday and the pool was next to empty plenty of lifeguards! I couldnt imagine going on a weekend or holiday as it is not overly big. the room was great, microwave,fridge,newer tv...hint 2nd floor has balconies there hard to get as theres limited rooms.staff was great.i went through groupon to get the room an waterpark package also included discounts for hotel amenities and niagara falls attractions
A mediocre place, not suitable for business or couples.
I attended a conference at this hotel and stayed there four nights. Arriving over the weekend the racket outside my door was horrible. The manager was kind enough to find me a somewhat better room, which is why I'm giving this hotel 3 stars rather than 2. The rooms are large but fairly shabby, reminiscent of a roadside motel. I was also reminded of the latter when asked for payment in advance the day I arrived, a strange practice befitting a low-level motel (standard is just to ask for credit card for security and settle when you leave). There's a small water-park attached to the hotel, which makes this a popular and noisy family choice. Not for lovers of peace and quiet. The price is also far from cheap.
All in all, not highly recommended. There are several hotels nearby that seem to be at the same level of maintenance but are much cheaper. Or, if you're willing to pay, at least get a place by the Falls.
The rooms smelled bad but overall the water park is 10/10 recommended , very fun I enjoyed my time at the water park

We stayed the civic holiday weekend. My husband, myself and our 4 kiddies. We really enjoyed the waterpark and arcade. We forgot our life jackets so we were happy to see they were provided. They were plenty of attentive lifeguards. There was a great park in the courtyard that had alot of different play structures. There were activities in the same area for the kids, which was fabulous. We had the mermaid and pirate suite. One room for the kids and one room for the parents. Great touch. Two bathrooms, which was also fantastic. The kids loved their whimsically decorated room, which included bunk beds. Although, my husband and I found it to be quite dated. Lots of wood panelling, super 80s decor. For the price we paid I would have expected a more modern looking suite. That being said the staff were extra courteous and helpful and the kids had a blast. I would definitely recommend this place to families.
The water park is small and unfriendly staff. Not worth the money.
We just got back and we had a great time! The staff is great (Brittany at front desk was awesome). They let us check in a little early and were able to accomodate a late check out. Rooms were a little dated, but they were clean and kept well. The water park was great and the arcade was an added bonus. Took two girls (6 and 8 years old) and they loved it. Your'e literally 6 mins away from the falls and lots of dining options at hotel or in area. We will stay here again when we come back!
What a fun time! The water park was a fantastic bonus. Too much chlorine in the water park, but signage explains why. Overall we felt welcomed and wanted as guests. Recommended.

We've stayed here for an anniversary weekend and a family weekend with senior and children from 3 to 6 yrs old. Spa/massage were great. Indoor water park was great too. 1 baby slide, 2 kids slides & 3 big kids/adult slides plus a wave pool, sports pool and hot tube. The only reason i didnt give a 5th star is that the arcade took a very long time to get any help. Almost no parking (some guests had to park at the local grocery store and then walk 1 block over in the cold) Last, our washroom smelt like someone just smoked cigarettes. If the last guests did this, the cleaner should've done something about it before we arrived. It most likely was a staff member/cleaner because it smelt too fresh. Hotel look seems dated but the front desk & wokers were very nice.
My family had a wonderful stay here. The staff are warm and welcoming and the rooms are spotless . Highly reccomend
The Americana in Niagara Falls Ontario is a lot of fun: there is a very good water park, that rivals it s nearby neighbour, the Great Wolf Lodge, at a far more reasonable price. The restaurants and other services are also quite alright. I cannot comment on the conference facilities. Give it a try.
Rooms are good ours was a little loud, but it's right beside the pool/arcade. Waterpark is lots of fun, especially for two little girls (2 and 3). I could see older kids getting a little bored quickly. Arcade has lots of broken machines, but the staff were great about it.

Americana water park has the absolute best Jacuzzi in Ontario.
the one you get in honeymoon sweet is handy, but sucks the big one.

we go every year to have a full body water massage which is at the water park. they also have water slides, a wave pool, and other kid friendly activities, but we are retired, so we go just for the huge whirl pool (jacuzzi).
we usually go when they have specials, for $99 a night, and you get 4 passes for the water park. we usually invite our daughter and her husband. they can't stay overnight, but have use of the water park for the 2 days.
Always pleased with this place. Good service, a beautiful hotel, and an unbeatable price for the waterpark combine to make it a great destination for a short family getaway.

For the price you can't complain if you're going with young children (it's probably most fun for under 10). 4 slides for adults/tall enough kids (two body slides, two tube slides.. Single/double), kid area for young children, a kiddie pool, wave pool and hot tub. Food is really overpriced though, and low quality which is really my only complaint.
My wife and I booked a room for an overnight stay. We took our kids there for a belated Christmas celebration. We loved our room. It accommodated us very well. We have 4 children between the ages of 6 and 12 years old. Guests were very friendly and made our visit that much more enjoyable. Front desk was especially helpful and accomodating. The down side to the experience was that the water at the Water Park was rather cold. My kids played in the water and rode the water slides. It didn't take long before they had had enough. They were uncomfortably cold. Other guests and visitors were complaining about the very same thing. The hot tub provided some relief, however the younger kids are not allowed as they do not meet the height requirements. I understand and agree with the rule. I took them to the shower in our room and they loved it!!
Nice waterpark resort for young families. Smaller but good value compared to Great Wolf.
Nice clean updated rooms but would not let us check in early even tho the parking lot was pretty much empty! Then at check in time we had to wait in a half hour line to get our room! The water park is awesome! Perfect for kids!!!

Great place to bring Toddler children. I went here on the Good Friday and the place got really busy at 11am. I arrived at 10am and it was already beginning to fill up. My son a great time at all the different areas of the indoor waterpark including the wavepool, tube slide, kiddie area and the water bucket drop area. We stayed for 2 hrs and at noon it was super busy. This place is great place to bring your Toddler children. Downsides were, limited tables to leave your towels and facilities were lacking showers/change rooms.
Worst experience!! Not recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Niagara falls.
Great indoor pool with roof that opens so it becomes outdoors when weather is nice
Several slide options so my young kids loved it and I had fun too. Wireless internet in our room was very weak signal but in other parts of hotel it was fine. In our room it kept disconnecting
Great place! Took 1 star away as they have super strict rules about what you can wear and what you can bring out of your room. It is a waterpark but they require shoes and clothes on at all times except in the waterpark, they also do not allow you to bring any outside food or drink into the arcade or waterpark. I hate when establishments are greedy like this. If I want to bring my own cups in I should be able to as well as little snacks for the kids and then if we want something from their cafe order it, not feel like you are forced to get dressed and go back to your room to eat. I love they do this because they never see a dime of my money, i refuse to be bullied into buying their food and drinks. Its funny because if i was given the option i would buy their food most likely but when I am told I don't have the option of my own then I respond with you don't have the option to get my money haha. Rant over haha.
I loved the room, 2 large beds with a nightstand, lamp, alarm clock and phone, table and 2 armchairs, desk with lamp and nice chair to sit and work at, t.v. and dresser, open closet with an ironing board and a nice bathroom. I will add it was missing a safe which I found very odd! Especially being in Niagara Falls and a tourist hotspot because I know when I travel out of "my bubble" I like the comfort of having a safe and assume many other travellers do too. (This is the 1st hotel in Niagara now that I think about it I have ever stayed at without a safe) We also had a room upgrade for only 30$ which was WELL WORTH THE MONEY! We ended up with an "open door" room with a bunk bed, t.v. and small dresser which the girls loved AS WELL AS a dining room / kitchen area!! Loved it.
As for the waterpark it was over chlorinated as expected and showers were a must right after to avoid itching but it was very clean and well kept.
The arcade was fun but expensive as usual. Worked out to $0.50 per token and most games needed 2 at least.
The foyer was gorgeous and all decorated for xmas and I love their "water walls" they really add to the ambiance.
Boston Pizza is attached and I stopped in for a drink at the bar, service was quick and friendly.
The spa was nice from what I seen of it! I didn't end up getting a service but I could have used one Haha.
The exercise room was nothing special but definitely had a few machines to choose from. I actually loved the reebok "step/elliptical machine they had, it was easy on the joints.
I think I touched base on everything!
OVERALL I would totally recommend this place for families or adult kids such as myself that enjoy some fun and relaxation.
P.s. there is a grocery store, tim hortons coffee shop and many other places within walking distance

Fair price room for with decent sized waterpark. About 10 min drive from Clifton hills area and saves you 50%. Rooms are average however occasionally noisy with childrens running around.
Americana was awesome for our family!! We all enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure!!
Wasn't very big but I could keep track of our children which is a must for me.
One thing was that some noisy people came in later being loud talking laughing in the hall way after we went to bed.
That won't stop us from going again tho..
Even the Groupon price of $20.95 is excessive for what you get, not to mention a hidden resort fee that you have to pay on location. (I don't recall what it was, less than $5).
The reason I call the price excessive is the pool is extremely chlorinated, to the point where it's hard to breathe sometimes, and definitely burns the eyes if you dunk your head. I would explain it like this: a strong pool chemical smell that is simply not ingorable.
I believe the cause of this is many kids use the pool and I assume a good portion pee, or even poo (happened on little slides when we were there) in the water.
On the bright side the water was warm.
All in all, we won't be returning.
Just feels like a cheaper lesser quality great wolf lodge. I could at least get a beer at night and a coffee in the morning here. Probably stay here over great wolf lodge just because there are more shops and restaurants to choose within walking distance. Lastly the wifi is great!
The overall stay was nice except for a few details. We had the room with 2 queen beds, and we lacked a remote for our tv so we couldn't change the channel. They had a coffee pot, but no tea or coffee to go with it. Had an air conditioning unit but no obvious way to control it. The windows had no mesh so opening them were not a option unless we wanted bugs. Location is nice as its right next to a supermarket (freshco). The room had a refridgerator and a microwave which was really nice, as it allowed us to actually utilize the supermarket beside us.
Good spot to take family out to have fun in the water park. Great for kids. Parking is ample, staff is friendly, food is good but priced a bit too high for less portions but no big deal because it s all about the water park. No ice cream with the funnel cake!!! If you decide to get one from the restaurant. Washrooms definitely needed attention, dirty and no change room in the washroom.
Quite simply, they use cheap pillows. For a poor sleeping experience.

Apparently these guys can just close down the water park whenever they want? Booked months in advance & then am told the day we are showing up the waterpark will be closed?
We were showing up for my son s birthday and he s all excited. Booked days off & got him all amped up & now are told we can t use the water park - the whole reason we are going.
Not to mention when my wife called to inquire, nobody mentioned about possibly closing the park & we were given no notice of it whatsoever. Had to find out for ourselves. As well, staff were very rude over the phone. Would not recommend & wont stay there unless compensated for this encounter.
Sincerely, disappointed parents & even more disappointed children. Shameful

Very pleasant staff, good buffet food, a nice place for a conference. Could have a wider choice of bottled beers, say, Creemore. Coors, Canadian, Bud and Corona just don't make the cut--at least one good beer, please. Nice Niagara wines.
For the amount of time I've spent at the Americana I've loved it. The rooms are very nice the employees are very nice and not to mention they have an indoor water park aswell! When we needed a quick bite we also went to the Boston pizza restaurant attached to the building. Overall a great place to stay and I will definitely be coming back!
Large pool venue, hall very accomadating. Parking was adequate and facility pretty clean. Offered drinks (pretty pricey @ $8/beer, and very limited food. $6 hot dogs, chips and candy bars.
Our family had an excellent time here. We spent 2 nights here. Jad loads of fun at surrounding attractions as well
It is always nice to visit with the family this place. The food is not to bad in the cafeteria close to the watet park. Unfortunately the chicken wings are extremely dry did not like them at all
Got a Groupon. It was an ok place. Not good to try to compare it to great wolf lodge, you'll be dissapointed. Games are broken, waterpark is small and they only run one section at a time. But if you're just looking for a quick getaway and your kids don't mind, then it would be just fine. Breakfast buffet was good!
It was a nice clean room and staff were friendly and accommodating. The water park was a little worse for wear and needs some repair as well as something done about the slippery flooring. We saw many kids ,including our own, fall and hit their heads on the pool deck due to the slope into the pool being excessively slippery.
Our family of four went for one night and two days. While the hotel itself was not bad the water park is small. There are two body slides and two tube slides for everyone. They have a toddler section that has three slides and a kids section that has two slides. The wave pool takes over the majority of the facility with a smaller area attached for water basket ball. The cost for the hotel and water park is unreasonable for what you get. Breakfast at Fields was $55 for two adults and two children 7 years and 5 years old. The service was horrible. I had to clear our plates myself to make room to eat. Boston Pizza like the franchise is worth every dollar spent. I would suggest booking a room at one of the other motels on Lundy Lane and getting a pass to the water park.
Trust me, spend a bit more money and go somewhere else. There is absolutely no customer service or respect to customers here. They offer a bogo deal and then have the waterpark closed the first day 12pm - 5pm for guests checking in and offered absolutely no compensation and couldn t care less.
We stayed there Nov 29th 2015 and had been there three times previously. We had two superior rooms that were joined. The beds were very comfortable. The room had a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, free wifi and a good TV. The restaurant was a Boston Pizza which was a nice upgrade over the previous restaurant. Overall our kids had lots of fun, short to no lineups in the waterpark and also enjoyed the playground outside. We also found the staff to be great.
Not a huge waterpark, it is a decent size with two slides. Rooms where fairly large and the location wasn't too far from the strip

Got locked out of room. Had to wait for maintenance to open door . Took family to Boston Pizza an it took 2 hours to be served. Half of the arcade was out of service. Hotel had a wedding that weekend and the music shook the glass in the room and keep me kids and I up for nail after 12:00. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Much better hotels to stay at in Niagara Falls

It s a good family place. Good clean and spacious rooms with coffee maker and microwave in it. Don t have any view if you are looking for one. However, prices are good. Their water park is not very disappointing. It s okay. They also have Boston pizza inside and other restaurants. Their breakfast buffet is very good.
The location is very close to many excellent resturants and attractions.The room was very difficult to find and it is a very big place. The service was okay some workers were mean and did not respect me.
We brought our 4 boys to spend the day at the water park and the absolutely loved it.
Staff was friendly but hotel room leaves much to be desired. We are actually here now. Debated on booking another night but after the dirty sheets we ve decided we should probably go elsewhere.
My 2 year old had a blast. The waterpark is smaller than other ones in the area but was perfect for her. The arcade needs some maintenance as a lot of the games were out of order. The rooms are standard. The staff is friendly.
