I dealt with Goldie to buy my mustang from this dealership. Goldie went above and beyond to provide the best customer service. Even talking with the manager was good during negotiations. Goldie was very patient with me and answered all my questions in detail which helped me understand the process. I highly recommend Goldie and Capital GMC. May be I will buy a truck from them sometime and with help of Goldie for sure.

Purchased a vehicle here almost two weeks ago. Mike from Finance was awesome. The experience and rating would be much different if the company and sales person Abe fully delivered on our conversations. Our vehicle was released to us without passing AMVIC inspection because rear light was tinted. We were told that it's been ordered and that we would receive a phone call by Monday Oct 16th to schedule installation. It's now, Oct 19th and no update on anything. We've reached out to Abe via text
message, no response. We've called parts and spoke to Stephen and it sounds like nothing has been ordered. Aside from that, Abe made sure that our vehicle will also be cleaned on top of that because it was never fully detailed when we picked it up. I'm a person of my words and I truly thought I was dealing with the right people. I will reach out to AMVIC if I don't hear anything from Capital. Please don't reply with an apology. Deliver on what was promised.

After having a couple thousand dollars worth of re...

After having a couple thousand dollars worth of repairs done, a recall for the part that caused all the damage was released. I was assured by everyone that was involved that I was getting a full refund, and it would just take some time.

After 2 months, I received a cheque for about 20 percent of the bill. When I asked how this could happen, they replied that I was told I would only get the amount for the recalled part (not even the labour involved). Utter lies, I would not have been surprised or upset if I had spent the last 2 months thinking that I was only going to be receiving 20 percent of the bill.

I contacted the GMC customer care center, where they looked into the matter, they received the same lies from the dealership that I was told and in the end, "the decision" was not to refund me for the damages that this faulty part caused.

I'm not exactly sure what lying to someone's face right up until the last moment the truth has to be revealed accomplishes, but that's the game they played with me.

I'll never buy anything from this dealership, or spend another dime at their repair shop.

Great experiences with everyone at this place. My first time buying a new vehicle and going through this process and they could not have made it easier. No pressure to buy or up sell or do anything. And when we decided on what we wanted they made the process easy and very comfortable to go through. My sales person was Josh and would highly recommend him, go check them out if you re in the market for a vehicle!

Bought a brand new car they "forgot" to tell us th...

Bought a brand new car they "forgot" to tell us that the $700 heated seats option only works for the backrest in the passenger seat and they wouldn't work from the car's controls but some flimsy buttons you can't see on the side of the seat. Very sketchy! Also dealer installed meant third party contracted so that delayed our purchase further - again something they forgot to mention.

Also every time we called or went there before even closing the sale they kept trying to pass the blame and responsibility of dealing with us from one person to the next. Like we were such an inconvenience to them - had to see about 5 different salesman and they were never ready for our appointments. Too bad my wife wanted the car so we bought it anyway but should have went to a different location.

They said I'll get a customer satisfaction survey by email which never came so they don't seem to care about people's opinion either.

Edit: months later and still no response from them...

Where do I start? We bought a GMC Terrain from this location and loved the vehicle and loved the sales guy Dan. So when we had another child and needed more space we felt this would be the place to go, we traded in that vehicle and our salesman Goldie helped us into a Buick Enclave, explaining the safety ratings and how amazing this vehicle was and how luxurious it was we decided to bite the bullet and go with it. Although that experience was not bad what s happened over the past 13 months is an absolute joke. No sooner had we had the vehicle every sensor possible started going off. It was in and out of the shop numerous time s without diagnosis or any explanation as to what was going on. I was left at the side of the road with a broken down vehicle twice with a newborn baby. The front left axle was leaking fluid and the first time they said they fixed it I was in no less than a few months later with the same issue. It was then apparently replaced so that the issue was completely solved. However here I am again with a leaking front left axel... how is this happening?!?? I got a nail in my tire from some construction near my house and took it in and the tire was going to be 8-10 day because the tires were no longer being made ? And one had to come from Montreal ??? On top of these issues the communication from the service department is atrocious and the customer service is terrible . I spoke to the manager of the service department and she was completely unhelpful and unapologetic. Basically all they gave me was a car drop off so I didn t have to go get it. On top of all this I am again waiting on another tire and it will be a week or more till it comes in. I m left with two kids and no vehicle to use with a leaking axle and also a back right window that once wound down won t go back up without being pushed up. Buick Enclave lemon. More problems with this car in 13 months than all my cars combined in my 17 years of driving . TERRIBLE

Went in just to look at the new Terrain Diesel. Aaron was the product specialist I worked with and he was very knowledgeable on the vehicle. Capital allowed us to take the Terrain home overnight. In working with Aaron and the rest of his team, we were able to get everything that we requested as part of the pricing deal.. Additionally Baljit, the finance guy, worked with us to get the best payment start date as he could given our situation (my husband is on medical leave). They worked to accommodate us and our situation and made the whole experience very positive. I would not hesitate to send family and friends to the Capital GMC team in Edmonton.

Admittedly, we pretty much knew what we were looki...

Admittedly, we pretty much knew what we were looking for, but Brittany did absolutely no pressure sales whatsoever. It all started with an almost effortless 24-hour test drive of a new Sierra which was arranged over the phone 45 minutes before I arrived at the dealership. Aside from a little paperwork and Brittany giving me a quick tour of the interior, it seemed she was just eager to get me on my way to get a feel for the truck.

That worked. That alone made me like this dealership. I am so frustrated with sales people who insist on coming on the drive with you, often talking incessantly and telling you which way to go, where to turn and when to come back. You can't learn anything about the vehicle you're driving unless you can pay attention to IT, not the sales person.

As for the truck, it sold itself. Though they did not have exactly what we wanted in stock, they got it to us within three days.

Derek (finance) was friendly and easy to talk to and both he and Brittany were easy to get ahold of via email, which was convenient for us.

We have yet to interact with anyone from the service department as we haven't had the truck for a week, but as for buying a vehicle from Capital GMC Buick, I would definitely suggest anyone to go there.

**EDIT: Have now taken the truck to the dealership four times for service and I have had absolutely no issues whatsoever. They've been helpful and fast. :)

Great experience at Capital GMC Buick, thanks to a Kelvin we got into a 2019 GMC Acadia, trading 2 vehicles in on 1 after many denied deals from other dealerships, along with being told it can't be done, or just not getting the payments low enough, Kelvin and the awesome finance manager Brad made it happen.

They're all nice and accomodating when you go shop for vehicles. Once you got the vehicle, you're on your own. They won't lift a finger to help you especially if the vehicle you took is not a Buick or a GMC. Service Department team did not even check if my wheel alignment was covered with the Total Plus Warranty I had. She just said ask your Finance Manager. The Finance Manager is another one who doesn't know anything. I was so pissed I just took my Lancer to Mitsubishi across the road and paid the $140.00 service fee. I emailed the Finance Manager to cancel my Total Plus, did not geta reply. On my way to work (That was Monday) I stopped by her office to ask her about my email. She said she received it and will give an answer on Wednesday. I told her there's a form to sign if I want to cancel the warranty. She said she doesn't have the form or has no idea there's a form. Came Wednesday, did I hear from her, NO! I dropped by her office again. She told me she's busy and all. I just said give me the form and I will not show my face again in your office. She doesn't know what form I'm talking. She doesn't even know why I got the warranty from GMC when she put me on First Canadian warranty. Duh? I did not do the paperworks, she did! It's a GMC warranty. I called that toll free number at the back of the warranty card. A guy answered and I let him talk to the Finance Manager. The guy faxed the Warranty Cancellation Form. I told the Finance Manager, "see there's a form." I asked her to sign her part and I will mail it myself. I don't wanna deal with them anymore because it's a waste of my time. Customer service people are rude too when they answer the phone. I don't wanna write a review about all that happened, but with what happened to the 2012 Acura of my sister, the back and forth conversation between my husband, the guy, and my sister pushed me to write one. Before the Acura was brought to the Service Centre because of emission problem, my husband said that it's half-half for the expenses. Bill came out, $437.00, my sister paid the whole amount to Acura Service Centre because Capital GMC said it's the fault of my sister for putting a regular gas instead of premium gas. Upon knowing what happened I went to see the manager and the salesman and the manager said "he did not say it's half-half. He had no idea of what's happening. He wants to know who said half-half." The manager explained again about the premium gas, HE COULD HAVE SAID THAT ON THE DAY MY SISTER GOT THE 2012 ACURA. For a first time buyer who doesn't have any idea about vehicles, they could have said that just FYI. All they care about is to sell vehicles. After signing all the paperworks, that's it! Bye!

I'm generally apprehensive about sales reps, and am easily annoyed with the pushy ones. Ebin at GMC was a pleasant surprise! He listened to all my questions and addressed all the picky concerns I had! He really knows his stuff and I walked away a happy customer, with a spanky ride! I've never had a better experience at any dealership! Definitely recommend this place and especially ask for Ebin!

I had a terrible experience with this dealership and will never return for any type of service. I booked an appointment for a car inspection and I've been harassed by a salesman all the way through even though I specifically said I'm there for service and not to buy a car. I refused to give him my phone number, but he took it from the system and started texted and phoned me anyway while I was waiting for my car to be inspected. Episode two of the nightmare: I made the mistake to book a second appointment with the Service Department to fix a minor issue. The appointment was confirmed twice; left my car there first thing in the morning. I'm receiving a call half an hour after to be asked if I order the part. Let me phrase this again: the dealership is calling the customer to find out if, for a booked appointment, a part was ordered. Never heard that in my life. Complete waste of my time. Went back to the dealership and expressed my disappointment for the service and the answer that I got was:" You can find your car parked in the front!"
Well I'm so sorry to disturb you with my business. Obviously you don't need it. Don't worry about it- I will never return as a customer again!

Brought my 2018 Canyon to get a oil change. Long story short they drained the oil. Changed the filter and put fresh oil in the truck. And started the engine and revved it. They did not put the drain plug back in and the truck started puking oil below my truck. Turned off the engine a few seconds later. The quickly put the drain plug in and topped up the oil the drained and said I was all good to go after quickly spraying under the truck with water(as I am watching all this happen standing in they bay). So I hope in my truck and park it outside. I go to find oil all inside my wheel wheel that was not washed and can see it dripping on the ground(I know it was oil due to touching it and clearly seeing it's not water). So I go talk to the service manager and ask for my truck to be cleaned properly. A oil change is 3 simple things. Drain oil. Change filter. And put new oil in. And they seem to mess us on that.

Did I buy a vehicle here? Yes. Do I recommend you do? Absolutely not. After I handed over tens of thousands of dollars for a vehicle they were impossible to get a hold of, they never returned my calls, and they sold me a vehicle that needed an oil change and a full fluid flush which was not disclosed. The only saving grace was the service department who promptly changed my tires over and my finance guy who was super kind. Other than that this place was basically a bust. Buyer beware.

I was looking all over town for a dealer with an SUV that wasn t super priced jacked. I liked the 2018 GMC Terrain but it was too expensive for me. Then Brittany at Capital GMC went the extra mile and helped me get an awesome price, and even found a way for me to trade in my old vehicle for more than I was offered all over town. I am very happy with my Terrain. Incredible on gas and very comfortable.

My experience at Capital GMC Buick was great. I felt welcome from all the staff especially from Brett Meaden and Goldie. I didn't feel pressured into buying a vehicle. I traded in my 2013 dodge ram sport for a 2015 dodge challenger srt scat pack. I got a very fair deal for the trade in and bought the challenger for an awesome price. Couldn't of asked for anything better. I would definitely recommend anyone to come take a look at this dealership.

Had to tow in my GMC Acadia last weekend for no st...

Had to tow in my GMC Acadia last weekend for no start.
The adviser told me min 1 hour labor charge even to look at it. Later that day I was told diagnosed 4 hrs but only charging me 3 hrs(so customer focused). What they did is
1. Checked water leaking into fuse box
2. Side harness fail
3. Side object detection module failure(this was the cause ).

Object detection modules need to be replaced(GMC does such poor engineering, no start for such a small issue) . I requested can I drive disabling object detection , told not possible (that was a lie).so in total 3 days and my wallet 2 grants lighter. Was told will take 2 hrs to replace and reprogram(as if gonna code the program from the scratch like a software engineer, otherwise why would it take 2hrs)

If you are in there they gonna hose you.

Recently stopped by Capital GMC to browse some vehicles - very impressed with the friendly service! Jaime, Chad & Mike were more than accommodating with any questions, concerns or requests that we had. They were eager to make a sale but in a way that didn't create a high pressure sales situation. They made us feel comfortable, valued and right at home. They were efficient and respected our time in the dealership. Ruddy called us to appriase the vehicle we had been driving. We decided we had nothing to loose and booked an apt. Thats where it all went down! Ruddy showed us a 2018 Gmc Acadia. I've had my eye on one for over a year. It had all the bells and whistles. I kept my excitement at bay as we weren't planning on buying a vehicle. But also so many times we had been shown one thing and told later in the process we couldn't get it. Boy was I wrong. Ruddy and Mike pulled through, was able to get us a better intetest rate AND the car we actually test drove! It was easy, it was quick and painless!
Ruddy himself was very personable , professional and knowledgable about the vehicle he showed us. We had some great conversations and he even kept our 2 toddlers busy while we were going over paperwork in the finance department! This was by far THE BEST EXPERIENCE we have ever had at dealership. We will continue to give our buisness to Capital GMC . All the best to the employee's there. Thanks Ruddy!!

Upon noticing a particularly nicely equipped 2017 ...

Upon noticing a particularly nicely equipped 2017 Malibu at this dealership, I proceeded to phone the establishment to set up a test drive.

My call was promptly received, and an appointment easily set without hassle with a Sales Rep named Goldie Singh.

The day of the appointment, Goldie made himself available quickly, and had the car ready in a short period of time. This differed significantly from my unacceptably long wait at Go Dodge/Southtown Chrysler, whereby despite having an appointment set for a particular car, the sales rep still took upwards of 30 minutes to source the vehicle in question; avoid THAT place like the plague.

Goldie was courteous and allowed me to take an extensive test drive in the car, while maintaining good customer rapport without being pushy. After arriving back at the dealership, I discussed purchase numbers with him and the sales manager, Brett Meaden. We arrived at a price we could both agree on (to be honest, I really wanted the car, and did not push too hard for money -- alas, the excitement of the car business!), and we closed the sale.

I discussed a few requests with Goldie, specifically, to have the rear "Denaliville" sticker removed from the rear of the car, and an alignment check conducted prior to my picking up the car. The finance manager, Maulik Shah, was excellent, and did not push any unnecessary insurance or coverage on my purchase. He demonstrated good professional manner and discretion with his approach to the finance process.

The next day (the day scheduled for delivery of the car to me), I admittedly arrived early, but was still welcomed in a very nice fashion. Goldie showed me my new (and thoroughly polished) car, and gave me a tour. I was somewhat disappointed to notice the "Denaliville" sticker not removed, and was issued an apology on behalf of the dealership, as well as an invite to have it removed at a later date at my convenience. That being said, an alignment check was performed as requested. I do feel the sticker removal should have been completed right the first time, which is one of the reasons I do not rate this experience a perfect score.

Since I arrived at the dealer alone for the delivery, Goldie was indeed kind enough to drive back my new Malibu to a convenient location close to my work place (this was a "company" car purchase). I did ask Goldie if he had indeed filled the car with a tank of gas, after which he assured me it was. Upon my starting the car (and after Goldie having left), I was disappointed to find under half a tank of gas in the newly delivered car. This would likely have been less troublesome had I been told the honest answer to begin with, and is the other reason why I do not give this particular purchase experience 5/5 points.

In summary, my experience at Capital was pleasant and not stressful. A polar opposite to the uncourteous, unprofessional, and disturbingly nonchalant ordeal I went through at Southtown Chrysler/Go Dodge.

In order to improve the experience at Capital to 5 stars, I would recommend listening and delivering upon your agreements with the customer, as well as delivering your cars with a full tank of gas ;)

I just bought my new vehicle from Capital GMC and this experience was amazing. Most dealerships made me feel super anxious and Goldie was so far the only salesman that I had dealt with that didn t make me feel super anxious/nervous being in a dealership. I went in with a budget and Goldie and his team did absolutely everything they could to make it work. I felt like I was taken care of!

I had the absolute best experience here. Kelvin was the greatest salesman I ve ever met.
He was super easy going, down to earth and honest.
I absolutely love my new 2020 Encore GX! It s my favourite car I ve ever driven. I want to thank kelvin especially for making everything go so smoothly. He even sent me a video of it after it was all cleaned. You need to go to him!! I will be sending everyone I know to him. As well as for the rest of the team, Moe and Adam thank you for being so awesome!!
